I don't have a Gaster headcanon but... would you be willing to draw either Zarla-s's Gaster, from Handplates, man-who-speaks-in-hands (MWSIH) Gaster, or leafaske's Gaster? They're some of my favorite designs. If you aren't still taking requests please feel free to ignore this!!

Have some Gasters! Of varying ages. I was (and still am) figuring out how to draw him. “My” design of him is heavily influenced by @ alpacacare-archive ‘s Gaster (there’s literally a piece they did of him being startled that directly inspired the “heckin spooked” one here), but I was also influenced by @ leafaske, @ zarla-s, and @ man-who-speaks-in-hands, and @ carlyraejepsans, among others. (Like heck I’m actually tagging all those people though.)

Eye glowing is directly inspired by Zarla’s headcanon!

I unfortunately had to crop Dapper setting Gaster on fire out of the one with Gaster’s coat burning, but rest assured it was hilarious.

Miraculous Ladybug lives and dies by its status quo and sweeping things that should have wide ranging and serious implications under the rug, and while it’s possible that could change, it seems unlikely to me that the new team’s writing philosophy and priorities would be drastically different from the present set. I don’t know the details of the changeover though. I mean it could be cool if they actually make something worthwhile of the entire cannery of worms they open. It would be quite difficult to write out of this corner while preserving the tone and target of the show. It’s practically felt to me like a different show since S4 so I’m not particularly invested in what happens in canon either way at this point #NotMyAdrien #NotMyLovesquare #EpicFail

I will be watching the movie though and I will continue making fanworks and I will inevitably get fooly hyped for future reboot(s). Cuz I can’t let go 😹

Oh if you like broster than you would LOVE leafaske and her Gaster interpretation!! She is the only other artist Iv seen depict gaster in a more brotherly role rather than as a father figure. He is a super goofy guy who loves his brothers but struggles with perfectionism and wanting to leave a legacy not matter the cost to himself
