styling for his hairstyle, he’ll have his bangs removed from his face, a rose flower on his right ear, he’ll have some longer earrings on, earrings that goes in a straight line vertically. his eyeshadow will be brown, with silver glitter on his eyebags and around his eyes. he’ll have a darker lip colour on, and he’ll be wearing both contour and highlight. clothing wise, he’ll wear a white shirt with buttons, flowers embroidered onto it and a flower peaking up from a pocket on his left chest. he’ll be wearing birkenstock shoes, and will have a belt formed as a bunny. 

stage there’ll be placed a bench with plushies formed as bunnies onto it which hyoseop will sit on in the beginning. around the scene there’ll be placed fake trees and fake flowers that hyoseop will walk along. there’ll be hanging a swing on one of the trees which hyoseop will momentarily be sitting on. the lighting will for most part be a bright light, except for the first chorus, where the light will be turned off except for a lamppost which hyoseop will be standing next to. at the end the light will be turned down except for a focus light on hyoseop, after a few seconds as the performance has ended, the light will once again be turned on and hyoseop will be sitting along the bunny plushies he sat along with in the beginning. for the second chorus there’ll be falling flower petals from the ceiling and a few actual flowers which hyoseop will be throwing out to the audience.

more hyoseop wishes to give a memorable performance, and wishes to partake in a lot of the performance, as doing his own make up and hair, helping to choose the plushies and such. the performance is another side of hyoseop, who usually does darker concepts, this will be a light change for the male.

“Ahh!! SO CLOOSE!!” 

Parker’s voice bounces off the walls of the practice room, frustration mixed with laughter as he collapses onto the floor in a way that seems to amplify his dramatics. They’ve only been doing this for a few minutes but he feels like it’s been ages; honestly, he doesn’t know if he’s put this much effort into a practice in a long time… or perhaps it’s also because the music playing in the background is very clearly not a typical Type Zero song. It’s not a Type Zero song at all, actually. What is undeniably Blazing’s Hurt Locker is playing and Parker does the some vague moments to the song on the floor before giving up again. 

“I know it could be any Legacy song, but you really think it would be that one?” he asks Baekhyun, staring at his groupmate through the studio mirror. They had been told that their fanmeet would have a random dance sensation so they had decided to try and run through a few songs to try and prepare, but it hadn’t seemed as hard in theory. “I would think they’d do more recent songs, right? Neither of us was even in the company at that point, right?” 

The music is still going, and changing to another song, but Parker’s attention is still on Baekhyun, as if the other boy's response will justify his … uh, state.

in between preparing for the fanmeeting tour, the TYPE ZERO members will be given a chance to create small personalized gifts ( eg. signed merchandise, thank you letters from the members, etc. ) for the fans. the gifts will be given during the gift raffle segment and since there are 15 stops, the members will make 3 gifts each ( with the inclusion of DAEHO, who will be present during the fanmeeting tour and leave after the tour has been completed ).

TYPE ZERO COMEBACK & SKILLS TO WORK ON

“and i know that we’re going to be busy for the tour but TYPE ZERO will be having a comeback around AUGUST. it’s going to be a short comeback because everyone will be preparing for the family concert this year, but i’m expecting all of you to keep working on your skills in the meantime.” BOMIN advised to the members, hoping that they would continue to work on what was recommended to them previously.

as a reminder, these were the skills that the coaches have asked the members to work on ( depending on the skills distributed during Q1 from various events/opportunities, they may or may not be asked to work on the same skills. skill is arranged based on most to least priority ):

FANMEETING GIFT: write a 300+ word solo about your muse personalizing and decorating the gifts that will be given during the gift raffle for +8 POINTS TO DISTRIBUTE ANYWHERE and +3 NOTORIETY !

TZ STUDIOS - BAEK EDITION

It didn't matter how much Baek tried to come up with an idea for his studio, but he would come out blank every time. That's why, at some point, he just gave up on it and decided to go with what he knew best and wished that would be enough for the time being.

Baek has no interest in producing, and he's not a dancer either, so both ideas of having a room full of sound equipment and instruments or a dance practice place didn't fit in with what he needed. Maybe that's why it took him so long to figure out what he wanted to do.

First of all, he didn't want to follow a clean/minimalistic palette because that's simply too boring and too reminiscent of the style his parents like, and since he's still in his detaching from family trauma phase, he doesn't want any of that in a space that is supposed to be his.

That's why one of the first things he gets for his studio is a comfy, green sofa because he doesn't think he'll spend a lot of time sweating in this place (even though mirrors are covering a whole wall, just in case). The next thing that comes is a sound system of quality that allows him to practice singing and prepare for his performances. There's also a computer set because you never know when he's going to need it.

Because Baek enjoys photography, there are a few of his works on the walls near the PC setup. It ranges from solo shots of himself, and his brother, and landscapes. There are also a few polaroid pictures of TZ members and one of their fans taken during a concert (not by him).

RULES

[ Silence is not mandatory, but encouraged ]

Especially if you're just coming into the room, someone else might already be there doing something (practicing, writing, sleeping). So be a sweetheart and read the room before storming in and making too much noise. Once you've got a good grip on what's happening inside, act accordingly.

[ Share your food. Asking if someone wants a bite won't kill you ]

If you're bringing food, at least offer it to the other people who are already there or who eventually come after you. Sharing is caring might be a sweet thought, but this is just a basic courtesy.

[ Clean after yourselves. We're all grownups ]

Baek isn't the tidiest person, so he's not requesting that people leave the room impeccably clean, but if you brought food, take the trash out. If you practiced dancing and sweat a lot, don't leave it on the floor to facilitate stains and make it smelly. Keep it clean so they can use this space comfortably for as long as possible.

[ Avoid putting your shoes on the couch ]

It's a pretty green couch. If you feel like putting your feet up (like Baek always does), take off your shoes and maybe even your socks. If you really can't take them off for some reason, just leave your feet hanging on the sides of the sofá.

[ Please refrain from touching/moving his pictures ]

Your hands have oils and dirt and a bunch of other things that when in contact with photographs, might lessen their lifespan, so don't manipulate them if you can avoid it.

eunho sits down with daeho, smilies over at the other and hums softly. even thought it had only been a little while since daeho ahd been picked to be the leader, he felt like daeho also suited it. maybe it was because he was comfortable with the younger, eunho wasn’t sure - “ so what did you like about filming in china, daeho? ”

it was honestly a whole blur to him, being in china and speaking chinese again felt like riding a bike after a while, he was so out of practice in the language. it was almost a disgrace considering how much effort he had spent learning it. thankfully he still remembered most, it had just taken him a little while.

EXPLORE WITH TZ : x-hunting in qilou solo COUNT : 581 words

since he was alone and figured footage of him just walking won’t do much good, he spoke his thoughts aloud as he walked down qilou old street with the camera man next to him. “so daeho-hyung and i’s letter is x--which is easy to remember because it’s just a cross, like this” he made a large x with his arms. “now what starts with x...this is hard, i can only think of an x-ray.” he decided that rather than trying to figured out every word that started with x, he would just keep on the move and hope he came across something with an x on it. he and the staff assigned to him walked around the street for a bit, chatting and trying to find an x of some sort--dowoon was getting desperate.

“ooh this is an x!” seeing something in the distance, he ran straight towards the item, leaving the cameraman in the dust. once the camera man caught up with dowoon, he presented the item with glee and pride. it was a sign that read, xylophones 50% off in english, at the front of a small music store. he then started messing with the sign, noticing the tight screws on it. “it’s kinda on there tight--so do i take a picture, or i guess i could ask if i could borrow the sign for a bit? the owner might not mind.” he peered into the store to get a read on who was attending the store. that was when the manager next to the cameraman started to giggle. “what--i need the x right? we’re supposed to find the x... and dowoon look confused. the manager then re-explained the rules, he had to buy the item for one and “OOOOH find an item with a name that starts with x...i see.” he scratched the back of his head, laughing but feeling ashamed for the mistake. 

“well, i guess i’ll keep looking...” he took all of about five steps away from the store, before he remembered the sign itself. “OH! we can get a xylophone!” once again he laughed but had a look of shame on his face as he opened the door into the shop. “this is why the hyungs don’t usually leave me alone” he joked towards the camera.

he decided to take a moment to look around the shop. when he still had the time, he would spend much of a day practicing piano, so he went straight to that small section and played a bit. he played mary had a little lamb for the camera, as well as the part of type zero’s song, before the dawn that he could remember (which wasn’t a lot), “i’m out of practice--i hope my old piano teacher isn’t watching...sorry choi-seonsaengnim.” ashamed seemed to be the emotino of the day for him. he continued to browse around the shop. it wasn’t anything crazy elaborate or large, a couple pianos, guitars, and drums on display--probably family owned if he had to guess. 

he got to the percussion section and went straight towards the xylephones. “jackpot!!!” he exclaimed. there was a box marked sale and filled with loose damaged or lost xylephone keys. he figured that had to count right?? he got as many as he could get--plus a xun, because he thought it seemed cool. with that, he thanked the shop owner and realize he had to race back to the meeting spot to tally the result--he really hoped he won.

even though nathan hasn’t been a student for, err, a while now - he still wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to say that he does not miss high school in the slightest. even though being a trainee was a lot stricter and way more stressful, at least he got something decent out of it. high school, on the other hand, was filled with nothing but arbitrary grades and projects that amounted to, what? a measly piece of paper that was probably made on microsoft word?

so when they were invited back to appear on ‘run to you’, nathan had mixed feelings. on one hand, he loathed the idea of just stepping into another high school, but on the other hand, it was nice to be able to meet their younger fans face-to-face like this (plus, it was fun to be on the other side of the company’s pranking antics for once).

standing by in an empty classroom designated as their waiting room for the day, nathan sighed as he sat himself in a vacant seat next to dowoon. “it’s a bit embarrassing showing up in our stage costumes, but at least we’re not cosplaying in high school uniforms, right?” he muses aloud. “dowoon-ah, when was the last time you wore a uniform?—wait, when did you even graduate high school?”

     he’s getting better at variety shows, he thinks. legacy gave them many opportunities to work in front of a camera when they were trainees. shows like babysitting services and date lottery made him feel a little less nervous nowadays. looks like netizens really like it when you make a fool of yourself for entertainment! he supposes he doesn’t mind being laughed at, as long as he’s able to make other people laugh.

     this mafia dance thing though—from its set of rules, it seems pretty complicated. then again, there’s fun in that, isn’t it? standing idly next to ( @lgcakira ), he wonders to himself whether he’ll need another rundown of the rules. “so that means whoever gets picked as mafia has to listen to a different song... while dancing to one of our songs?” now that he’s saying it out loud, that sounds super tough to accomplish.

     minjun hums. “whoever gets to be the mafia must have it rough, huh?” it does sound fun, but there’s a greater chance of that side losing. minjun’s perfectionism might not take it.

what: type zero comeback show performance when: unspecified wc: 313

it felt almost surreal that type zero were having their first comeback as a set group. of course the line up had had a few changes since their debut, but four of them still remained. and those of them who still made up the group had worked so hard to prepare for this and make sure it was as good as it could possibly be. akira was very proud of the others for their work.

akira had taken a moment of free time to walk around the backstage area as a way to have just a few minutes to himself and relax all the nerves he still got before performing. even after almost twenty-four years of life and two decades of being a dancer, the butterflies still managed to get the best of him.

instead of making a short loop around the area and back to type zero’s dressing room, he found himself standing at the side of the stage and walking one of their senior groups on the stage, performing for who knows how many times on the music show’s stage. the nerves were replaced with a quiet sense of giddiness at the though that type zero could be in that place in the future. they were still a far way off from those moments, seeing as this was only their first comeback and they were still only in their first year of debut, but it was a nice thought. slightly weird as well thinking that after all those years of training that they finally were paying off in some way.

he only stayed until the end of the song before he finally turned around and made his way back to join the other three. maybe be a little mushy in the meantime as well and tell them all how proud and excited he was to perform with them all once more.

first comeback

"got so far, all i can do is get futher"

a comeback… his very first. it still hasn’t fully sunk in yet that he has debuted, that he’s been an idol for months now. he’s been chasing this dream for so long, and he finally got there, he finally made his debut. now it was learning to be an idol, improving his skills constantly. hyoseop’s dance skills had been good enough for him to debut, but it was still a skill he needed to work on, so in preparation for his very first comeback. he stays late to practice dance by himself, he stays late almost every day.

his breath is heavy from practicing, he pours down a bottle of water his throat, finishing another water bottle, luckily he brought three along with him today. hyoseop has never felt very good at dance, and he’s not surprised that legacy asked him to improve his dance skills for the comeback. he’s grown a lot in dance from when he became a trainee, two left feet when he joined legacy, and though surely not type zero’s best dancer, he wasn’t all that bad anymore. he’d had a habit of only focusing on rap, luckily that habit has been broken. 

his body feels weak, he’s not sure how much more his body can take today, then he remembers, dance wasn’t the only skill legacy wanted him to improve in, he needed better singing skills too. so he lets his body get a rest while his mouth and throat will come to use. he remembers the warm-ups hes been taught in his time at legacy, and he starts with that, warming up his voice. he tries his best at hitting higher notes than he’s used to, his voice is a bit deep, so it’s a bit difficult, but he still tries his best.

the weeks go like that, he switches between practicing his singing and dancing, remembering not to forget his rap nor performance skills, he wishes to get better in what he wants to get better at, and what legacy wants him to get better at.

Parker doesn’t know how long they’ve been in the studio exactly, but it’s clear that it’s been a few hours just based on the sweat making his tshirt stick to his skin and the way his leg shake a little when he makes his way over to where he left his water bottle. Bracing himself against the wall, he eases himself down to the floor with a groan and a sigh before his hands make quick work of the cap of his water. They have so much to prepare before the end of May, and the fact that this is the first time they will be performing directly for their Chinese fanbase is not lost on him. 

“That’s looking good!” He calls out from his seated position, eyes on Hyoseop. Daeho and the others are a bit farther off, either resting or practicing on their own, which is partially why the vocalist’s gaze easily fixes on him. “That part of Action Figure gave me problems, too, when I first learned it!” There’s not denying the mild exhaustion in his voice but still Parker manages to sound as earnest and enthusiastic under it. This is basically their first fore into a concert format; what was there not to be excited about?

on JANUARY 3, KIM BOMIN gathers all of the TYPE ZERO members together in the morning before they are about to go about with their daily schedules.

TZ STUDIOS

BOMIN starts off with the first announcement for the members, “for a successful comeback last november along with some of the members interested in producing, LEGACY has decided to give all of you studios. use that bit of room to decorate it however you like, but make sure that it’s presentable for livestreams!” 

similar to the case of CRYSTALLIS and V&A, TYPE ZERO is now the third group to receive their own studios! they will be located on the floor above where V&A’s studios are currently. the space is quite small, but depending on the member’s preference the room can be rearranged to be more of a practice room if they are not interested in producing..

as part of receiving their new rooms, the TYPE ZERO members will be asked to create their own house rules that their guests will have to follow and design it to their liking.

INTENSIVE WORKSHOPS

“i know some of you may not like the idea that we have to do more intensive workshops, but based on the feedback given by the coaches they felt that TYPE ZERO as a whole could have done better during the year end ceremonies. thus during these next few months, we will be implementing additional workshops and training time to prepare you for what is to come.”

on JANUARY 27, the TYPE ZERO members will be flying to TAIWAN where they will be attending the TTV SUPER STAR'S ANNUAL CHINESE NEW YEAR EVE'S SPECIAL. this will be held in the taipei arena, taiwan and they will be performing 'DIAMONDS ONLY', 'BROKEN LOVE', and 'GOOD BOY GONE BAD'. on JANUARY 28-29, they will be given a chance to explore taipei before heading back to KOREA.

LUNAR NEW YEAR GREETINGS

a couple of days before LUNAR NEW YEAR ( FEBRUARY 10 ), all of the TYPE ZERO members will be dressed up in traditional clothing and record a lunar new year greeting for all of the fans which will be posted on the TYPE ZERO’s youtube channel.

PROJECT ORIGIN EXHIBITION & SHOWCASE

“with the release of the OSTs and the start of the animation series, LEGACY has invited the debuted groups to take part in the PROJECT ORIGIN EXHIBITION & SHOWCASE, which is scheduled to happen on FEBRUARY 23. on this day, there will be the unveiling of the exhibition where the costumes used during both the original and second reiteration of the musical will be displayed. among that are some of the memorabilia we have collected from all of the groups participating, so this includes costumes and props used during some of the past future dreams seasons, year end ceremonies, and much more.” BOMIN continues on while remaining enthusiastic about the whole event. “later on that day, there will be a showcase where the groups will be performing the webtoon OSTs and since this will be happening after the airing of the future dreams season 7 finale, PARKER will be given a chance to perform ‘ROSES’.”

ELLE MAGAZINE COVER

for HYOSEOP, KAI, and BAEKHYUN, they will be featured on the MARCH 2024 issue of ELLE magazine! the pictorial for this will be happening sometime around mid-february and the trio will be taking photos individually, duos, and as a group. after their pictorial is done, they will be sitting down to do an interview talking about their thoughts about how it feels like to be a TYPE ZERO member, their favorite hobbies and interests as of late, and any styling tips or advice that they would like to share with their fans.

TYPE ZERO FANMEETING PREPARATIONS

“while the other groups will be preoccupying a good chunk of this quarter, TYPE ZERO will be preparing for a fanmeeting, which will be done sometime around APRIL and MAY. this is why we’re encouraging all of you to take these few months to brush up on your skills and improve so that you can be prepared for it.” BOMIN explains to the TYPE ZERO members.

as part of the fanmeeting, BOMIN will ask each of the TYPE ZERO members ( aside from PARKER, who is confirmed to perform ‘ROSES’ for the fanmeeting ) to suggest THREE SONGS that they will do a solo performance on. the songs must be released before JANUARY 2022 and can be in KOREAN, ENGLISH, or MANDARIN ( if you choose to do the latter two choices, the muse must have AT LEAST 50 POINTS in the designated language ). if you want to rearrange the song or modify the original choreography, you must have at least 50 POINTS in the related skills ( eg. rearranging the song = 50 MUSIC COMP and/or 50 LYRIC COMP, including an instrument in the song = 50 POINTS in the instrument chosen, modifying the original choreography = 50 POINTS in one of the choreography styles ).

KCON HONG KONG

on MARCH 30, the TYPE ZERO members will be flying to HONG KONG to attend KCON HONG KONG. on this day, they will be attending two panels; one is an interview panel where they will be discussing the group to international audiences while the other one is a dance workshop panel where they will be showing and helping some of the attendees learn the dance to ‘GOOD BOY GONE BAD’.

later on during the concert, they will be performing ‘ACTION FIGURE’, ‘GOOD BOY GONE BAD’, and ‘DIAMONDS ONLY’.

TZ FANMEETING PREPARATIONS HEACANON

Jinyoung's Dive

DIVE is an obvious choice for Baek because it fits the image he wants to build for himself. Type Zero has great music and banger title tracks, but looking back, it's not like they are well known for their softer-sounding songs and rely a lot more on the rap and heavier beats (they have talented rappers, might as well use that), however, Baek believes that having a more mellow and more refreshing image might help him in the future. Even though he doesn't want to be stuck in one idea of himself publicly, being more palatable to the public might be a good point to start. Since the fan meet is going to happen in either April or May during Spring, something like DIVE might fit well with the overall vibe.

Wheein's watercolor

Watercolor is a bold choice. It would require not only vocal stability, but Baek would also have to work on his dance skills. Mind you, Baek is not a bad dancer, but compared to his other group members, Baek is the one who lacks the most in that department (while everyone else is in their 200s, Baek is low on his 126 at the moment). He's not planning to become a very talented dancer, but he needs to be able to catch up with them. Watercolor is a chance to show off that he's not too bad and has some skills.

Gaho's RIDE

RIDE is the odd choice. To be honest, it's odd for Baek but not so much for the whole concept that Type Zero has going for them. It's a song that has more of a rock feeling to it, and as a lead vocal, it's a good one to show off more of his singing skills compared to the other two, maybe. Since Parker will be singing Roses, which is a softer song, this could show off the contrast between the two vocalists of the team.

adventures in china w/ @lgcparker

eunho had practiced his chinese so dilgently over a year ago, one would think that maybe he would haev spoken chinese wth parker once but no. never had that thought crossed his mind, not until the news of their chinese comeback and then he realized. parker was chinese, he should have maybe put more effort into that part of their friendship, he should have been. 

“ yo, parker, ” he walks up to the shorter male, they were shooting for the first episode and parker was turly shining, then again parker was already more social than he was so him being the mc for this... felt incredibly fitting.

“ how does it feel, we’re in china and it’s your debut here? ” he asks the other, playfully resting his hand on the younger’s head, “ is there anything you want to see here while you’re here? ”

eunho had been in china before but it had been such a rushed experience, “ i am honestly excited about seeing the great wall. i know it’s very touristy of me but what can i say, i can’t wait to feel like i am at the top of the world. ”
