1. What kpop songs make you feel at home?

Imma just say EXO love love love (rearranged) [Live]. I’ve had the best memories with this song and I jammed hard to this song a lot in the car. Pretty peaceful and chill and slow.

2. What idol(s) do you associate with kindness?

EXO Lay, GOT7 Jackson, RED VELVET Yeri, literally everyone from MONSTA X and SEVENTEEN. MONSTA X and SEVENTEEN radiate kindness I swear dude.

3. Has a kpop song or group helped you through some difficult times? If so, and if you feel comfortable, share how.

EXO. They were the first group I deeply got into and invested so much of my late high school and early college time in. I can’t think of anything too crazy or difficult, but just when I’m feeling low or have a bad day and things don’t go well, I can search any exo crack video or sweet video of them and it instantly cheers me up and I feel better.

4. What idol would you star gaze with? Why?

I’d like to be with Kyungsoo, of course. I think he seems very insightful and I would like to have any conversation with him, from silly to deep. Also NCT Mark. That kid is everything, he’s a funny goofball but for being his age has probably seen and done so many things, and I’d love to pick his brain.

5. What’s your favorite ballad?

6. What was your first kpop group that you stanned? Why did you stan?

EXO. They were the first group i really took my time getting to know. And I’ve never seen a musical group with so many members, my gosh. Thank goodness they have so much content. It was fun getting into them kinda in the middle stage, CMB era. There’s enough stuff to see them from the very start and go from there, and still loving them to this day (June 2020) I’ve really got to see them grow as wonderful men and human beings. Like who knew Chen would become DADDY first, amiright ladies.

7. Would you rather give or receive a gift from your bias?

Oh for sure give a gift. I like writing AND gift giving, and I think just writing a simple letter to an idol I appreciate or a group in general would be great. I’d give me the opportunity to thank them for helping me through tough times, they give me hope and cheer, and to express that everyone feels the same way. They deserve to know how much us fans are so thankful for them.

8. What are some cute nicknames you have for your biases?

Kyungsoo has strawberrysoo and Sooberry, Chen’s got chen-rry. It was a joke between a friend and I when we made EXO into fruit.

9. What idol(s) would you go to an arcade with? Why?

I think Baekhyun and NCT Johnny would be fun. They’re both pretty energetic and can provide excellent narration. And Baek’s pretty much a gamer anyways so he’d help me shoot lol.

10. What are some things you associate with your bias?

Kyungsoo- khakis, fly fishing dad outfit, dad fashion, the color black, nike, cooking, penguins, eyebrow game on fleek, heart lips, owl eyes, soft, kind, talented, handsome af, pls bring back red hair i beg you. must i go on???

11. What idol(s) would you bake cookies with? Why?

NCT Taeyong. Cooking would be so fun, just jammin’ to songs and baking. He’s a precious bean and I’d be fun eating cookie dough instead of actually cooking it would be a blast. And I bet he has a crazy sweet tooth.

12. What idol(s) would you like to share comfortable silence with? Why?

Kyungsoo, he seems like a pro at that lol. SVT Joshua, MX Shownu, RV Wendy. They’re just peaceful human beings and I can image just all of us reading or doing work peacefully in each other’s presence.

13. What idol(s) would you like to share your favorite food with?

Kyungsoo, I love that he’s a foodie and enjoys cooking. I’d love to eat pho and ramen and sushi with him and just talk about life. MX Wonho would be fun to go on ramen dates with, since that’s his fav too.

14. What idol, when they come to mind, makes you feel warm, fuzzy, at home?

Kyungsoo. Pretty obvious at this point haha. He’s my fav and I adore him dearly. His voice too, my gosh. His singing voice is just so gentle and warm, it certainly gives you the warm fuzzies.

15. Which idol would you like to have a long, deep hug with? Why?

MX Shownu. He just seems to have such a soft touch, and he’s known as the papa bear in the group. It helps that he’s pretty muscular, i think his hugs would be nice and warm and strong.

16. What’s your ideal day with an idol(s)?

I would like to spend a day or two with SEVENTEEN. I think going out and having a good meal with them would be great. It’s a great way to get to know someone and talk about easy mundane things. I have the best memories with friends at a lake, or going out in nature. So i think time with them hiking or having a lake day would be so peaceful and fun. Also inner-tubing, omg that’d be a blast. They’re all such GOOD BUDDIES to each other, and crackheads at the same time. They’re energy would be nothing but fun and exciting.

17. What idol(s) would you watch the sunrise with?

I mean... all of EXO. BTS Hobi, NCT Jaehyun and Taeyong, SVT Scoups

18. What idol(s) would you watch the sunset with?

EXO... again haha. MX Jooheon and Minhyuk, BTS Taehyung, SVT Joshua and Wonwoo

19. Has an idol or group said anything that has stuck with you?

20. What idol would you like to spend a rainy day in with? What would you do? (please keep it appropriate lmao)

I think Johnny and Mark would be super fun. I think a nice puzzle would be nice to do, a time to talk and get to know them, with hot chocolate and blankets. And like a crazy netflix or hulu binge watching, and eating popcorn. I’m used to commenting and making jokes during movies/tv so I’d to joke around with them and see what they have to say about a movie or tv.

21. Talk about why you love your bias so much.

Kyungsoo is just such a sweet soul. I saw a video of him just now and it was when he was 19 years old, and he was so sweet and giggly and smily. And it’s astounding to see him grow into such a mature young man. he’s done great success in acting, and seeing the kinds of talents he possesses. He’s a talented singer, a good dancer, an amazing actor, and he cooks. He seems very mature and yeah, kinda looks dead inside at award shows, but I think he’s got a good head on his shoulders. And when the time comes he can become goofy and cute, even when it seems he doesn’t want to/do it on purpose.

22. Would you rather go to Disneyland or Everland with your bias? What would you do there?

I mean easily Disneyland. i wanna see every member of my favs wear Mickey ears decked out in Disney gear. They definitely deserve a day of fun and laughter and no stress, and just living out as a young adult.

23. What do you imagine your bias to smell like?

Kyungsoo- Idk probably just clean, like soap and whatever cologne he may wear. He’s a simple man lol.

24. What do you wish for your bias group or idol in the future?

I just want happiness for everyone, and success and to remember how much we love them and appreciate them for all the hard work they do.

25. What season do you associate a group or idol with? Why?

SVT is summer, for sure. They come up with the most boppiest of bops, and the energy for them best fits a summer road trip with the windows down and music blasting.

26. What idol would you like to share childhood stories with?

Honestly anyone who has traveled from the US to SK. I love hearing their stories and how hard they worked to get where they are. They really sacrificed everything they knew in the States and went to a place they don’t know well, have to learn a new language, and miss their families. I’d like to hear how they made it to where they are and what they’ve learned over the years.

i noticed bambam first, technically i first glanced him in girls girls girls bc i was anime trash before i was kpop trash and he rEALLY looked like nishinoya from haikyuu so i called him nishinoya and thought he’d just be a first glance bias, until i saw a compilation of got7s dumbest moments and most of them were jackbam and i saw two specific clips that i recall, the one where they had to do the ugly dance of gggs outside the jyp building and bambam literally spazzed on the floor?? and the iconic how do you know im not big moment. i looked at him and went “tHAT ONE. THAT ONE, I WANT THE TRASH CHILD.” been in love ever since.

felix singlehandedly got me to stan stray kids, i first glanced changbin in hellevator then highkey forgot abt them as the show aired. then my friend sent me this clip of felix’s verse in grr from the live stage bc at this point the album hadnt even dropped yet. i was shook to the next dimension from his deep ass voice and his growling and i wanted to hear more so i watched the show and only fell in love with him more.

i betcha if this poly were to happen felix would see bambam dabbing and go “OMG IM NOT THE ONLY ONE STILL DABBING IN 2K18″ and bambam would see felix dabbing and be like “OMG HES CONTINUING MY LEGACY” and they’d hit it off from there

for both of them, i love how they’re both absolute crackheads. like they’re actually so stupid and what the fuck is going through their heads???? they make me smile like and idiot and laugh like no other so of course i love them. plus they have this adorable sweet side to them apart from them being memes and its so heartwarming to see that soft side come out, it makes them so much more of a three dimensional character cause there’s all these sides to them and they’re like so hardworking too and did i mention handsome? plus their love for their members ugh i could go on!!!

bambam makes me think of black, white, red, and purple. black and white is bc his fashion sense is like modern and chic and those were also his most iconic hair colours. red because of his signature eyeshadow. purple just seems like a colour that would suit him, it’s royal and elegant but also homey and familiar?? but tbh he can make any colour his bitch.

felix is yellow, gold, orange, and brown, bc theyre warm colours like him!! the brighter colours are bc hes bright like the sun and the browns when its a more chill day, and its all down to earth and just feels like home.

*♡ ｡･ﾟﾟ･ 12. WHICH SEASON WOULD YOU LIKE TO SPEND WITH THEM?

ooft tough one...spring so i can spend my birthday with them (cause in AUSTRALIA spring is in september to november) and its cold at the start so we can have snuggle dates, and its hot at the end so we can go to beaches and have water fights and stuff!! and in the middle its perfect weather for nice strolls.

Sometime in 2009 I think? I was into J-Pop at the time and somehow listened to Big Bang’s Lies and got pulled into this black hole!

I have a pair of sugar gliders named Albus and Minie (yes, Minie as in Jiminie). They’re adorable!

Tea all the way. The times I’ve drank coffee can be counted with the fingers on one hand. I don’t drink coffee but will try special and famous ones like Italian coffee and luwak coffee (they’re both excellent but still not my thing).

Day.

18. WHAT KIND OF MOVIES DO YOU PREFER WATCHING?

I watch and enjoy every genre except for gross or really cruel movies, like Human Centipede (shudder) or Saw. But my favourites would have to be:

Disney princess movies (yes I’m a baby).

Movies about magic and special powers such as Harry Potter and Percy Jackson.

Movies with interesting plots and explore the human behaviour and morals such as Inception, Passengers and Split (anything James McAvoy and this girl is down!).

Any Hayao Miyazaki movie. Add some other awesome animated movies in the mix too.

Action and superhero movies such as anything from Marvel lol (but not a fan of Captain America for some reason).

Chick flicks (romcoms I guess) like 27 Dresses and Just Like Heaven (I love Mark Ruffalo).

19. WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST WISH FOR THE FUTURE?

To be healthy, finish my studies and slowly cross off all the things I want to do.

1. How’s your day?

Not too bad tbh, a little hectic tho. I woke up late and was almost late to class but my teacher was late too so I technically wasn’t late. But I had a really productive first 3 classes and then my last class was interrupted by a lock down drill and we had to go take attendance in like 3 different places. But overall not bad.

Plus the CBX comeback is so funnn!!

2. Have you already, drank, ate, rested enough today?

I have eaten one (1) sandwich, haven’t drank anything all day, and am running on 8 hours of sleep. So a normal day for me? (it’s 3pm as I’m writing this btw)

Definitely dark night sky with moon and stars, I love love love looking at the stars and plus I’m very much a night owl

The dark, snakes, and people

17. Are you still scared of those things?

I am definitely still afraid of the dark sometimes cause I live in the city and have this constant underlying fear that some wackjob from the streets has just walked into my house without me knowing and is now just chilling in the darkness of my room.

SNAKES ARE DEATH NOODLES AND NO ONE CAN CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE

People are awful and although I am getting less and less scared of interacting with them I still get freaked out by a large majority of them

I wish people would keep hurtful and unnecessary comments to themselves, it’s something my mom does to me all the time. Like I’ll be listening to kpop in my room and she’ll come in and say “why do you listen to this, it’s so awful.” like wHY

19. What outfit do you feel the most comfortable in? What do you wear when you’re really yourself?

A large hoodie (the bigger the better), blue or black skinny jeans, and my timberland boots

20. Do you have tattoos? If yes what meaning do they have? If no do you want some and why?

I don’t have one yet cause I’m still a smol and my parents would disown me, but I am very interested in getting one. I’d love to get a small black horse shoe on the back of my left shoulder because it was an injury in my left shoulder that got me to stop ski racing and start competing in horse riding.

21. A hairstyle/colour you always wanted but were too scared to actually get?

I’ve never really been afraid to do anything with my hair. Once I wanted to dye part of my hair a galaxy mix of purples, pinks, and blues. So I did it. And then later I wanted to shave off the colours in exchange for an undercut that I could shave kpop logos into. So I did it.

22. Is there anything you would want to change about yourself?

mmmm I don’t think so?? I mean sometimes I wish I didn’t blush as easily as I do but at the same time I don’t really care??

I wouldn’t say I’m confident in myself, I’m more content than anything.

23. Do you think you’re loved?

My friends show me an astounding amount of love and support.

24. Which person that you don’t personally know, has influenced you the most?

Although I don’t technically stan him anymore I think I would have to say Min Yoongi from BTS (Suga). He was probably the one person who introduced me to kpop, and because of that introduced me to so many new people and things. And since then, little parts of me have been changed for the better :)

25. Name 5 things that would be definitely on your bucket list?

1. Move out asap :)

3. Learn another language for fun, aka not as a school course

4. Raise and train an animal on my own

Why did you choose your URL: Waiting is one of my fav Girls Aloud songs, I was in full GA stan mode back in 2009 and so at the time I used this for everything and still do for non-real life related things just because (and only twice on other pop music related sites has it ever been taken, now it never is) 15. How many blankets do you sleep with: a comforter and then I usually have a throw like lined up next to/against me but not on me? maybe that’s weird. I’ve been using flannel sheets lately just because they’re comfy but sometimes I wake up with just the sheets on because it’s too hot in my apartment and I don’t control the heat 23. Dream job: idk anymore, which is why I’ve gotten possibly deluded into thinking my deadend job that doesn’t use any of my degrees is good enough for a career and been too lazy to look into anything else. ouch ignore that. idk maybe a subject librarian (history) at an academic library, if I ever got off my ass to get my MLS (and double my loans). in an ideal world I’d be a writer but realistically I know I am far too lazy to write non-fiction and not creative enough on my own for fiction 24.
