clouded monk & yin. I love these two:)

this was inspired by a panel from the TBHK manga where tsukasa was about to eat yashiro also saying "Gotcha! ♡". I just loved the perspective so much. I immediately imagined monk holding yin.

I still don't understand why they "hate" each other - yin causes monk to breach instantly if it's in the same hallway as his containment. oh and if he DOES breach, he will teleport to yin's place so that sounds fun.

This is a challenge to everyone, especially the hardcore Lobotomy Corporation players: I want to see an image of a lobcorp nugget who has (legitimately, with few or no mods) obtained the “ideal” EGO Gift set I detailed in my last post. For bonus points, also have them equipped with the Paradise Lost EGO Weapon and EGO Armor for a true “god” nugget.

As said before, I want this to be done legitimately, with no external modification to the game. I will allow Quality of Life mods, including Gift Chance Boost, Infinite Re-Extraction, and some others, but nothing that makes the actual challenges any easier.

This is just a dumb challenge that I thought up, but it’d be cool to see someone achieve it, and maybe even report back with how good the nugget actually is.

Hong Lu’s the only one to have an odd similarity to an abno in Yang: Yang is made by chinese backer to Hong Lu is based on chinese book, Yang is able to heal sp and Hong Lu’s skills heals sp for himself, When Yang breaches, it shown to have a jade colored eye and of course Hong Lu’s own jade eye as well

Anon, there is actually a lot more to it than you think. Yes, all of what you say is true (except for the backer part, Yin and Yang aren't backer abnormalities, but according to the LobCorp wiki they were contributed by the chinese translation team, so that still kinda works?), but there's more to this.

For one, you can't talk about Yang without mentioning its counterpart, Yin, which has a red eye when it breaches - which one could potentially connect to Hong Lu's red-eyed brother, Jia Huan.

Two - the water motifs. Oh my god can I just talk about Hong Lu's water motifs.

So, obviously, Yin and Yang take on a fish-like form when breaching. This connects to Hong Lu's ridiculous amounts of water themes. Like seriously man has more water motifs than Ishmael, the fucking sailor.

Allow me to list them. Hong Lu's Base E.G.O attack animation has him seemingly walk on water and summon a downpour from some sort of ribbon. The window in his Base E.G.O art shows a view of what seems to be his home behind a body of water. The chair he sits on in that art has engraved waves on it. The main promo art of his base Identity has him walk on wet ground in an area covered in mist. His symbol has a cloud motif.

Oh, and also Three - Yin-yang is like, a pretty notable concept in Taoism, right? You know what touches on Taoism quite frequently? Hong Lu's source.

Like, it's one thing for a Sinner to have heavy thematic connections to an Abnormality, like Ryoshu and Spider Bud with the whole "cruel but extremely protective of family" theme. However, this shit is like. On another level. Dear lord.

so lobotomy corporation and library of ruina are... I'm not technically into either one. i've never played either game. However. i consider it a fandom in law if that makes sense. plus my boyfriend loves the game and i love him and it reminds me of him so i indulge.

puck and atlantes are strictly lobcorp ocs but the third one in the third image, lucille (he/she, prefers he & ids as a dude but like with a question mark) was made with lor in mind . that being said because his boyfriend (one of my boyfriend's employees that he turned into an oc) is lobcorp, i dragged and dropped him in there and just to fuck with everyone i refuse to give her e.g.o. gifts but she's definitely just an employee and not one of the sephirah . he's cute and will die before he hits 28 (serious) (not because of an abnormality)

also puck is my pride and joy he purposely has a TETH suit and HE gifts but also the Fucking Apocalypse Bird Wing . he should not have survived the encounter but he did by sheer luck and now everyone thinks he's a secret powerhouse and thinks they can count on him because he seems able to survive the most insane shit but he's so fucking stressed and confused and has no idea how he's still alive right now. somehow maxed his stats and he's so fucking lost.

atlantes is... well he's an interesting case, isn't he? no one at the facility really knows where the hell it came from. like, sure, employees show up all the time, but he truly came from Nowhere. showed up around the same time as a couple of the abnormalities, most notably funeral of the dead butterflies and yin. strangely enough, he already had yin's e.g.o. gift, as well as funeral of the dead butterflies' e.g.o. suit and weapon. ....he's a bit of a weirdo. it talks in a very calm, collected tone, but says the most outlandish shit like it's the weather. often makes sinister threats with a plain smile. ...seems to...damage the other employees' sanity?! what's with this guy?!?
