🔪 Hello! 21+F (she/they), honestly not 100% sure exactly what I’m looking for, but here’s the gist of it:

I’ve been in a major Mads Mikkelsen phase lately, so I would love to write against a character with his FC. I would be writing a female OC.

The idea I have so far is that my girl would be a psychologist treating your character in some kind of live-in treatment facility/asylum. I’m thinking he could have been a serial killer, plead insanity but he’s not like sociopathic insane? Ultimately through sessions, he gets under my girl’s skin, she’s starts to fall for him, he’s obsessed/in love with her. Eventually he escapes, and that’s about as far as I’ve gotten. I would love to chat and plot more!

Also, this Mads character gives me major Hannibal Lecter vibes, though I have yet to actually watch past episode 1. I would be willing to play around with that character/verse as well as I think there is plenty of potential there.

I expect this to contain dark themes, romance, smut, possibly triggering topics, gore, so please be okay with that (we can discuss triggers, etc to make sure we’re both comfortable with everything). I write literate, multi-para/novella, on Discord; I cannot tolerate single paragraphs or one-liners.

We didn’t get a S4 announcement, but you know what the absolute best thing about today’s C2E2 Hannibal panel truly was? 

For almost the first time since the show ended, Fannibals showed how profitable Hannibal can still be. 

C2E2 sold out of their remaining VIP ticket packages with guaranteed panel seating within 48 hours of the reunion announcement. Paid PopVerse subscriptions to stream the panel spiked with previously untapped demos (if socials are anything to go by). The largest event hall at C2E2 was overcapacity 45 minutes before the panel; while that’s normal for cons like SDCC and NYCC, in my experience that’s less common at C2E2.

Not to mention Mads and Hugh making bank with autograph and photo-op sales; a huge component of drawing in good talent to table at cons as well, making sure they make enough over the weekend to justify their presence beyond panel appearances. From a talent booking/event management perspective, this is the absolute dream scenario.

So, here’s the super fun part: ReedPop, the company that owns C2E2, also owns/operates New York Comic Con (NYCC), one of the highest-profile US entertainment conventions after San Diego Comic-Con. Now that ReedPop is aware of the viability of Hannibal programming, it would be extremely surprising if RP didn’t attempt a run at a larger, proper reunion panel at NYCC.

Honestly, great job, team. 2024 could very well be the year we get real buzz going again!

Stigr Anselm | Council (Sweden) | 5,089 | Vampire | Versatile

“When a man is prey to his emotions, he is not his own master.”

The son of two well liked and heavily respected leaders of his clan, Stigr showed throughout the years that he was destined to follow in his parents footsteps.  He spent his formative years closely watching his father and the way that he interacted with their people, picking up on what people seemed to find so compelling about the man and what constituted a good leader in others eyes.  Early on, Stigr mimicked those qualities, though he sometimes came across as perhaps a bit more cold and distant than his mother and father did.  When his father died, Stigr was eager to step into the role.

Though not as liked as the other man had been, Stigr never really able to fully conjure up the warmth and easy attitude that his father had, he was highly respected.  With his natural skill for strategy when it came to battles, Stigr’s clan thrived underneath his leadership, expanding further out.  When he began to get too comfortable with everything, however, arrogant in his victories over the years, things went bad quickly.

A few of the clans that he and his people had attacked in order to get supplies and more land had joined together to seek retribution.  In what felt like a matter of minutes, Stigr’s village lay in ruins and his people either dying or having run off to save themselves.  Stigr himself had been stabbed numerous times and, as he lay there bleeding out, begged for whatever god was listening to save him.  It wasn’t a god who answered, however, but a vampire who had been drawn to the chaos and bloodshed.  Seeing something highly appealing in the dying human, he offered to turn him so that he might eventually get his own revenge.  Which was exactly what Stigr did once he had enough control over himself, eagerly slaughtering whoever he could find who had attacked his village.

He never returned to the clan he’d been born in, choosing instead to travel all over the world with his sire.  At his side, he learned invaluable lessons, becoming an even more skilled fighter and further developing his abilities as a leader.  It took very little time for whatever sliver of humanity that Stigr had to disappear.  After the battle that resulted in the vampires being in charge, Stigr accepted the position of councilman.  He’s been in and out of the castle ever since, though with his current visit, Stigr intends to stick around a bit longer.

𓆩*𓆪 wants 𓆩*𓆪 - literate replies (doesn't need to be ungodly long, but I feel as though most substance falls in a medium reply length. ie. one phone sized discord reply) -I am not too keen on writing ships depending on the character chosen. Mainly because I prefer oc x character, but am willing to discuss different plots if you have something in mind! -I prefer to not do one reply a week, I am quite active on my page and am looking for someone that likes to do multiples throughout the week. -I will only do doubles! this is because I feel like there is always a part of the group that feels like they're not having a good experience because their ideas don't always align with the other party. -I totally understand if life gets in the way and you're unable to reply! However, if we have established a normal routine or made plans to write and you're not free, please do just let me know (: communication is key! -smut is not always essential, but I am not too keen on doing ftb plots unless they're really interesting, mainly because I feel like the physicality aspect of relationships builds things in a more nuanced way, and because I just like to write smut lmao -I am in BST time, which usually means that I am the one further ahead with timezones, because of this, I tend to be the one staying up late for the other (im looking at u, usa peeps hehe), so it is really important to have good communication if you're not free so that I am not staying up late for ya if we made plans (: -communication, communication, communication. if you feel as though something in your rp isn't going the way you want, communicate! if you feel like you want something changed? communicate!
