At this point I'm feeling even cable networks/streaming services are now actively trying to waste my time.

Ingrid Goes West (2017)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
God, I love when women are a bit insane.
Watch this if:
you miss 2016 aesthetics
the subgenre of Aubrey Plaza being very unsettling appeals to you
Similar Titles:
All About Eve (1950) (basically the same plot, but without Instagram)
Cam (2018) (cam girl finds her online doppelgänger, tech-y horror)
Saltburn (2023) (what if I told you none it it was accidental? also has a killer soundtrack)

Ok. Ok. I'm so normal about Matt staging his own funeral in the face of inevitable death but still taking care of his human connections as he lays on his own funeral pyre and I totally did not absolutely fucking resonate with the manic griefjoyangerrelief he felt once he realized that he still retains the giftburden of life

i feel like a lot of people completely misinterpreted Matt's character. He doesn't not care about people, he genuinely cares about helping (as evidenced by the fact that he completely broke down when he accidentally made 7 people basically stupidly killed themselves on S1 EP8). He isn't some uncaring, unfeeling, person. He just has a strange way of perceiving the world around him and tries to help people through that lens. And, surprisingly a lot of the time it seems to actually work in some way.
