The first time you gave him a kiss, you asked his permission. He had told you no, that you shouldn't have put your pure lips on such filthy skin, but you had witnessed so much that he finally narrowed his eyes and waited as if you were approaching him with a red-hot iron instead of the your happy smile.

But Mayoi would never have imagined how much that sweet, fleeting touch on his cheek could lift him from his deepest pains. How nice it was to have the kiss of his loved one on him, of the most beautiful person he had ever known.

That day was your let through.

When you kissed him without warning, one day, he really believed that his heart would jump out of his chest: "Don't do it again ... please!" he had told you completely red in the face, but your laugh was so cheerful and happy that he couldn't help but wish for endless moments like that. He hid his face to your shoulder and muttered a "no...do it again..." as your arms encircled him, squeezing him against you.

And so he simply has learned to receive that spontaneous affection that only you can give him, and he blushes every time, but he never stops you.

You suddenly kiss his nose as you have lunch together in solitude, you quickly kiss his shoulder as you walk, you kiss his temple while he is sitting on a bench in a short break from training, you kiss his hair when he is curled up in a corner looking the world in that disturbing way, you take his hand and kiss his knuckles as if you were his knight.

Because he’s too beautiful, because you are happy, because you miss him or ... oh, do you need a reason to kiss him?

And his heart fills with tenderness every time, and even if he still shakes, it makes him shake even more if those kisses don't come. If you don’t appear for too long, if you don’t leaving him a light kiss on the forehead, a restlessness begins to rise from his stomach to his throat.

But you are always there, you always arrive.

Even now when he is alone in a corner of the garden, with his legs tight to his chest and unstoppable tears, you know how to find him, sooner or later.

You no longer ask him for any permission to gently take his beautiful face in your hands and wipe the salty droplets that wet his cheeks with your thumbs. You smile at him, and the gentlest kiss he knows lands on his wet lashes, on his tired lids.

"There you are ..." he murmurs as he looks at you, and even though his chest still hurts, he finally manages to smile as your noses touch tenderly.

Due to his secluded lifestyle and his fear of being in a large crowd, Mayoi has never been very good at social interactions. Most people are wary of him when they first meet him and as such, he´s very surprised that you stayed around and managed to squeeze your way into his heart just like that

Mayoi is actually very insecure and self-deprecating and so he really isn´t used to being complimented, especially not for his teeth. They´re sharper than an ordinary person´s and I´m sadly convinced that someone has made a mean comment about them at least once. He doesn´t want to be seen as scary but what can he do when he´s simply so creepy and useless? Of course people are going to be disgusted by him!

He almost can´t believe that he gets to have a wonderful s/o like you, he doesn´t feel worthy. And yet, you still stand by his side and comfort him whenever he gets these bad thoughts and his anxieties start to overwhelm him. He´s eternally grateful that you´re there for him!

It would be a completely normal date when you suddenly out of the blue mention how much you like his teeth. At first Mayoi is surprised and doesn´t really believe you. Many people have compared his teeth to that of a shark and exclaimed how scary they looked!

But as you keep insisting that you find them really cute ( like him <3), Mayoi would get really flustered. He´s really not used to these compliments so please excuse him when he tries to hide his red face behind his hands. From an outside perspective, one would think you were about to touch a murderer. In actuality, you simply offered to braid your partner’s hair. Mayoi stood in the shared bathroom of his ES dorm, cowering against a wall. 

“Let me do it. You should preserve your refined aura for as long as you can. Just standing near me can be detrimental.” Tears pricked his eyes. He reached a shaky, gloved hand towards the brush.

Instead of meeting with cold plastic, his hand is met with the warmth of another. “Mayoi, it’s okay. I want to do this.” You attempt to soothe him by dragging your thumb across his knuckles. Even months into your relationship, Mayoi doubted that you wanted to be near him. 

For a moment, a look of fear crossed his face. He took a few deep breaths before settling with a trembling smile. “Right.” Pulling away from the wall, Mayoi faces the mirror. His gaze turned down to the floor. “Th-thank you.”

A shudder runs down his body as the brush meets his hair. Never in his life has anyone ever offered such a thing. Seeing your face so focused on him stirs something in his heart.

“Ah~ The way they look, concentrating on something so hard. How cute!” He whispered, his voice barely reaching your ears.

“You’re pretty cute yourself, Mayoi.” You tease while setting the brush down. Before you got the chance to run your fingers through his hair, he jerked forward. Gloved hands cover his burning face. 

“Please! You can’t just say these kinds of things. I don’t deserve it!”

“Of course you do. You’re the cutest idol out there.” Your fingers entwine through his purple locks, braiding the hair in his usual style.

Mayoi thinks for a moment. It’s selfish for someone as disgusting as him to accept such kind compliments. They were much more suited for someone else. Though perhaps it was just a human instinct to be selfish.

He never saw himself as human, but he can’t help but fall into those feelings. He can’t help but feel selfish.

“Hmm, thank you.” His eyes briefly meet yours through the mirror. With just a glimpse, Mayoi felt loved. “Please…please tell me you mean it!” He choked out.

You finished his hair by tying the lace bow into his hair. “Of course, I mean it, Mayoi. I love you.”

The sound that escapes his lips is startling. Hesitantly, he gripped your shoulders. His touch was light as if you’d crumble under his touch. Slowly, Mayoi drops his head into your neck. His shoulders shake as if he were about to cry.

he felt his face heat up as you continued complimenting him. once you were finished he mumbled out a small “thank you.” and kissed your cheek. you helped each other up and went to go get a comfortable blanket and a drink. you covered mayoi up and gave him the drink as you turned the tv on to watch a movie to fall asleep to.

the male was in complete bewilderment mixed with an astonishing look over his face as he noticed the large figure who had approached him was just you. despite that, he still tried to hide his face behind his arms that reads the word ‘afraid and confused?’ it was only you, he wasn’t even sure why he still felt scared.

it was probably because you were wearing a huge dinosaur outfit, or it was because the position you were doing at that very moment frightened mayoi as you cornered him. a t-pose, cornered by his significant other in a dinosaur costume. it was a thought you’ve always think about—doing incredibly hilarious and questionable stuff like this to your boyfriend who can be easily scared. not only was it humoring to see, however it was also entertaining.

“i-is this a punishment for not giving you quality time??? i-i’m really sorry, y/n-san please forgive me…!” mayoi stammers, using both of his arms to cover himself from your pose and distance you were both in. it took you a while to immediately stop what you were doing and let out a loud laugh, holding your stomach as you did. still a little frightened, mayoi opens one of his eyes—his irises seeing you jump out of the dino costume calmly with still a bright smile over your face, phone on your right palm. did you record that reaction? how humiliating.

“ahaha..! i’m really sorry, ayase. i just think it’s just fun to do these sorts of things. including to your boyfriend who i love~” you teased, tossing the dino outfit to the side before sitting beside mayoi who was still seated on the corner. with that comment, mayoi sheepishly looks away, flustered. “i-i’m more sorry…i’ve been busy with idol practice these days…i just can’t find some time to spend my day with you, even if i’m your boyfriend and all and…i’m sorry for being a scum on the earth a-and…”

a touch of your palm made him pause from talking, with a flinch coming afterwards at the feeling of your soft hand on his. you chuckled, leaning your head on his shoulder to calm him down. sadly for you, he can’t be just calm when you’re this close to him. you were out of his league, way too far. “y-y/n-san??”

“don’t be like that, ayase~ you know i really hate it when you talk shit about yourself.”

“eek..! t-then i’m sorry for talking shit about myself..! please forgive me..!”

another soft laugh escalates out of your lips. yup, this really is mayoi alright. the entire day you cuddled and comforted with him on the corner, while you both just lay your heads on one another in peace.

• in order to gain your trust, rinne decided to just tell you what was inside, slightly ruined your surprise but at least it was better than being stuck curious 🤷‍♀️

• no fucking way you had to do that as a punishment in losing the bet.

• you wasted no time—texted kohaku to come over your place so could see how you’ll be jumping in the dino outfit rinne gave as your punishment. you hadn’t told him that it was a dinosaur costume of course, that would just ruin the fun. the fact that you have to record it for that red haired scumbag to see.

• rinne knew his punishments were always wild and he seemed to find these amusing and humorous, even if some were just next level of embarrassment.

• once you and your boyfriend walked back to your apartment complex, you both were quick to open the box given by the crazy:b leader.

• yeah, a fucking dino outfit was inside. how did rinne even actually had time to find these sorts of items?

• kohaku was bewildered, while a deep sigh escalated out of your mouth. well oh boy, here goes nothing.

• not even a second after you put the costume on, you hurriedly cornered kohaku onto a nearby corner.

kohaku’s voice shivers, along with his small body movements backing away as you stepped close to him one by one, the floor creaks. not much as kohaku expected how his leader’s punishment would be, but hey—what are the odds, y’know? it’s rinne we’re talking about after all. that red headed asshole has a whole lot more in his mind.

feeling the cold wall hit his back, the pink haired male was cornered, no where else to go, just his eyes on yours. well, your eyes behind the dino costume that is. he was in pure bewilderment, also a little frightened…? kohaku wasn’t sure what he was feeling. after all, a large dino costume is cornering him at the back of the living room of his lover’s house—he was at the moment of having mixed emotions in one bowl over his head!

“are you actually doing what that guy told you to do!? no way you’re actually doing it…!”

now that your boyfriend was cornered, it was time to engage the ultimate pose rinne requested you to do for your punishment.

with a rise of both of your arms in sync, you t-posed so nonchalantly in front of kohaku, a dominant atmosphere surrounding your dino presence alone in one place. kohaku…was astounded. in a little bit of a bad way. no fucking way you were doing this for real. he was probably dreaming. did he accidentally took some of the beer rinne’s been drinking? no, kohaku doesn’t drink. besides, he was far too young for that.!

so there was no other choice but for him to realize this crack scenario is real. he was still huddled over on the corner, watching as you continued to assert dominance over the t-pose right in front of your boyfriend. this was a little too odd for kohaku to handle.

to make it stop, he made a run for it—and you followed.

“stop following me..! that dino outfit is freaking me out…!” he yells, yet to no avail coming from your response. kohaku could hear you laugh from behind the costume—and with that sound, he smiles a little. with the fact that he’s being chased by you in a dinosaur costume couldn’t make his thoughts less.

maybe this punishment wasn’t that bad. but it was still weird.

Plot/summary: You're a producer at Star Pro who was invited to the New York Idol Film Festival with the idols you produce. Mayoi, your lover, was invited too. Despite you being so confident, you're not as assertive as your boyfriend...

Being a producer meant accompanying idols to places that you wouldn't be able to visit on your own. This time, a handful of idols that you helped produce were going to New York for the New York Idol Film Festival. Mayoi, who was a part of La Mort, was invited on the trip too. You were incredibly proud of him that he and his group were nominated.

"It just... doesn't feel like I deserve it...!" Mayoi wailed.

"But you preformed so well, Mayoi! Your performance in Noir Neige was beautiful!" you praised, holding his hands in yours reassuringly. "You definitely deserve to go to the awards ceremony!"

Mayoi looked at you nervously. There you stood in front of him, smiling brightly as the sun. Looking at you calmed him down a bit. He was happy to have you here with him, supporting him all the way through.

"By the way, you look handsome in a suit," you complimented.

His face turned red almost immediately. "T-Thank you, m-my love...! You look l-lovely in that dress too...!"

After the film showcase at the IFF, an after-party was held, so you decided to take this opportunity to talk to the other visitors there. You were a producer after all, so you thought that by socialising in this event, it would reward you with more connections for the idols that you produced. However, the main reason for you doing this was for Mayoi, you wanted him to succeed and be the best he can be.

"You'll be fine, right?" you asked him worriedly, knowing how Mayoi is with crowded areas. "I'll be back once I get about— hmm… ten business cards.”

Mayoi chuckled at your optimism, but nodded, "Yes, I think I'll be okay. Aira and the others are here, so I'll stick to them."

"Great," you said. "I'll be back quick!"

You slipped away from Mayoi’s grasp and scanned the area, looking for your first potential business partner. Mayoi couldn’t help but grin at how bold and confident you were being. He wished he was more like you as you were someone he looks up to let alone love with all his heart.

Do your best, (Y/N), he cheered on in his thoughts.

He resumed to socialising with his fellow idols, and it really did seem like he was having fun. You giggled to yourself as you glanced back at Mayoi.

After a few encounters with the people there – and a LOT of conversing – you were able to collect ten business cards.

"And that is a job well done!" you sang to yourself happily. "I've got to tell Mayoi!"

But before you could go back to socialising with your idols, a man approached you from behind.

"Hi there, darling," he began. "You're absolutely gorgeous. Are you one of the new idols from Japan's Ensemble Square?"

Keeping your friendly posture as you always do, you replied back cheerfully, "Oh no! I'm not an idol at all. I'm actually a producer there. I specifically work at Star Pro which is one of the agencies–"

He cut you off. "I see, I thought you were an idol. You're really pretty to just be a mere producer," he stated in which you could sense the slight disdain in his tongue. "Nevermind that though. Would you like to accompany me outside? The night sky looks beautiful tonight... just like you~"

His arm was already wrapped around your shoulders. Now this made you uncomfortable, but you tried to be nice about it.

"Oh, sorry, I actually can't," you chuckled nervously.

"And why's that?" he asked you, giving your shoulder a tight squeeze.

But a second later, that hand of his was now grabbed by Mayoi.

"Because she's with me."

You looked at your boyfriend wide-eyed. His eyebrows were furrowed as he gave the man the deadliest look you've ever seen. It wasn't like him to act like this so it surprised you a little. Mayoi tightened his grip around the man's wrist when he tried to squirm out of his grasp.

"Please don't touch (Y/N) ever again," said Mayoi, smiling brightly that even his eyes showed it.

Mayoi had let go before the man could make a scene. Then he took your hand and lead you back to the group.

"Mayoi...!" you started. "Thank you so much. You don't know how happy I was to see you come for me! You were so cool!"

Mayoi sighed as if the confrontation took all his energy from him. Both his hands were resting on your shoulders as he looked at you anxiously.

"(Y/N), you worry me too much," he said. "This isn't the first time you've been hit on since we came here to America...! This is probably the third time I had to come to your aid. It's scary...!"

"It's actually the fourth time," Kohaku butted in as he chewed on the shortcake he was eating.

You gave your boyfriend a sheepish grin. "I'm sorry, I should've been more assertive," you mumbled.

"No, it's not your fault..." he wrapped his arms around you and you automatically hugged him back. "I need to keep a closer eye on you..."

"I wouldn't mind that," you said happily.

Then you let him go as you continued, "Oh yes, look! I was able to get ten business cards! Are you proud of me~?"

Mayoi smiled as he cupped your cheek gently.

"I always am."
