First off I friggin adore the Misfortunate Monsters AU. Second, is there a master list of all the characters so far and what type of monster they are?

There was an earlier list here but it needs some updating:

If you don’t mind me asking, who is your icon? I’m assuming it’s a Link if some sort

pfp's changed since I got this ask, but it's the same character so I get to have the honor of putting his face here again

^^ this guy is Poppy, one of the triplet siblings from the Misfortunate Monsters AU, another one of those "all the Links etc exist in a universe" AUs (not related to LU)

That AU's been a work in progress between me, @m-aee and @lemonlurkrr since sometime last year. In this universe, the characters represent pretty much all of the Legend of Zelda games, taking various inspiration from them! Poppy (and Iris and Clover) take inspiration from Triforce Heroes, you can see all three of them here. More on them and the others in the future as everyone's stories are still waiting to be told, and more characters are yet to be revealed. In the meantime though you can read this comic by Mae (part one and part two), look through their tag, and view this old teaser for their curse. Yeahh AU isn't called "misfortunate" for nothing
