(hes like the only other eng mcyt i watched as a kid)#and recently just started watching him again #I ACTUALLY SAW THE PREMIER OF 3L EP 1 #but . just like hc . i got distracted . BUTTT when LL fimally came out i saw that lizzie was in it so i was like ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ILL WATCH #and i went and watched 3L first And then kept up with LL and i rewatched 3L bc i was bored and on that rewatch i Fell In Love #so i was like Oh i wonder if theres a fandom for this . i looked on google (yes) . and saw fanarts all linking to tumblr #AND THAT LEAD ME TO THE BRAINROT RABBITHOLE so deep on character analyzing sides of trafficblr etc got invested in scarian immediately LMAO #but Yeah thats the full origins story ... i miss that time of my life so much aw :")) maybe its the fewmonthslefttocollege brain going mush

okay… imagine role reversal with sentinel (not position reversal though, just power kind of stuff). he’ll start off by being bratty and saying he won’t like it but when you order him around he completely changes. he’ll call you sir or ma’am as you order him to suck your strap/eat you out. when you’re dominating the fuck out of him, he’ll whine that same title, bite his lip to stay quiet, try his very best to not grind on you and he’ll put his hands behind his back (because you told him not to touch you or himself). degrade him a little and you’ll find yourself to be on top of a screaming over sensitive mess…

oh god he’d totally hate it at first, like he’s so used to being in a position of authority it kinda shocks his systems a bit. but he soon learns he actually likes not being in charge for once, and the thought of submitting himself to you actually turns him on

the majority of Sabo's personality we know from his youth, but apparently he's mostly the same, so that's what I'll be doing for him here. Meaning he will be mostly headcanon based by terms of who he is as an adult. Being so robinhood-esque, if at least more 'organized' considering he's only a second-in-command, his heart is always going to be in the right place, even if his choices don't always work out for everyone. Intensely devoted to this goal of overthrowing a tyrannical, hedonistic, oppressing and corrupt people ― he'll put everything else beneath it. Except when it comes to Luffy now. He's a chaotic good and man who means well and is trying to come to terms with regaining his memory and losing his brother all in one moment with very little time to devote to it.

Agdjfjfj anyone else feel like,,,, pressured to get characterizations right in a rarepair?

Like I feel like ships with big followings get to kind of do what they want and stretch characters however they want

(see: there will always be a subset of fans to hype up the content simply because there's more of them into it)

But as soon as it's a little ship it doesn't feel as free? Like stuff has to be tied to something more canon compliant (personality wise) because otherwise you'll get flak for it being a bad ship or only a ship IF one of the characters gets changed to fit for the other or whatever (so the ship gets a shitty rap)

AND IT PISSES ME OFF

(This is about the unfair treatment rather than characterization choices: it's fan content, it simply doesn't matter until ppl decide to harass the actual creators of canon for not following fanon)

#content used here as a way to encompass fanworks in any/all variations (art. fic. cosplay. ect)#the bee talks #i would also like to point out ive been into rarepairs of 3 different fandoms so ive seen 3 different sets of ppl (1/2)#(2/2) and how they treat major vs minor ships in the fandom and im.... v tired of the shit #listen. im not a fic writer BECAUSE im not v good at characterization. also why i do more nonverbal works vs ones with speech #so sorry if i like to put characters in situations that dont line up to canon (sarcastic)#rarepair thoughts #anyways this will not stop me but thats more bc no one has ever paid attn to what i post and therefore a lack of ppl saying shit #mmmm im writing this when im v sleepy so things may not be coming across exactly how i mean....
