Gosh, there are so many that I'm kind of losing myself in them😂 Here are some I like a lot:

Aegon is a great storyteller - but no one really knows it save for his children. From time to time, when he visits Helaena's chambers she lets him babysit the little ones so Aegon treats Jaehaerys and Jaehaera (assuming Maelor is not there yet) to tales so wonderful and exciting that they don't want to let him go when he says it's time for him to do so.

I said "no one really knows" because actually Aegon used to do the same for Aemond: when he was still very, very young - and during the toughest moments of his recovery from the horrific eye injury. And Aemond remembers it but thinks it wasn't real, believing that he is misremembering the first and hallucinated the second.

Helaena has a lovely voice, and the children just love to hear her sing.

Alicent and Criston are quite close as it is. But once, some time before the point where the story picked up in episode 6, they had a particularly intimate conversation - not in a sensual way but in an emotional one. They were talking for a few hours, sharing memories and stories from their childhood - lighter and heavier, funnier and sadder alike. And at one moment they suddenly felt the atmoshere change, dangerously so: they got too close, too intimate, so they had to end the conversation. Talks like that one never happened again but the feeling they had then stayed with them forever.

And one more that was mentioned in the fandom discussions many times (judging from what we saw in the show it's kind of canon at this point): Otto is an absolute girlgranddad. He adores Helaena to the moon and back, and she responds in kind. In fact, Otto took some time out from his Handly duties to learn the names of all Helaena's bugs and butterflies.

Now, I'm going to twist your ask a little bit.

Bradley is a detective, yeah, and does undercover work too, BUT one day he's assigned to a new partner for a special case. (Phoenix being his BFF & usual partner <3)

This new partner though? Tall, Tanned and Texan. He's charming, very much cocky, and scarily smart. And Detective Bradshaw doesn't stand a fucking chance.

He tries to get close to him, but Detective Hudner is tight-lipped. Seems to stay focused on the case, and the case only. And Bradley can understand that (makes him all hot and bothered to watch Detective Hudner biting his lip and reflecting on possible suspects). Still they work and close the case in the end.

The day after, Detective Bradshaw goes to his temporary partner's desk to see if he's available for a drink or sth (😉).

Except there's too much activity going on in the precinct. Very unusual.

This is when he's called by Chief Detective Simpson in his office and learns the truth.

There never was a Detective Hudner.

It was a cover for one Jacob Seresin, the Mobster Boss' son from the Cavalieri della Morte gang. Never once spotted before. Always working in the shadows....

So, why this sudden interest in a more exposing job that is working for the local police? What is Seresin's true motives?

And more importantly, what will Detective Bradshaw do with this piece of information?

(I was feeling inspired and wanted a reverse undercover kind of thing? 😅)

sooooo... *twirls her hair* how many asks should i send until kuwagami art. jk as well. the real question will be: does it happen often that someone else’s art inspires you? in fandom spaces specifically

well you see it’s like a loyalty card program, every 10 asks or so you get a complimentary kuwagami

just kidding you can just breathe in my direction and I’ll be tempted to draw them. kuwagami blast! (you've caught me on a... just okay art day lol)

anyway for my actual answer: in terms of direct inspiration, it doesn't really happen much? the last two times i did art directly based on someone else's work is probably this one from this fic, and also that time i drew art of someone else's judgment au. oh! and there's that moriohpsycho art based on this comic! (filthyguts' work is so very. hgngngghh. very good.) nothing else really comes to mind, and when i think of the other things i've been into recently there hasn't been as much opportunity for that to happen...

flex and herds = strong fixation but lmao. almost nobody else made stuff about them. nobody is surprised umineko = surprisingly i don't read much umineko fanfiction? and in terms of illustration, i certainly picked up imagery and indirect inspiration but nothing concrete enough for me to give an example... now that i think about it, i did once draw andromalius from redaction/sunny, but that was years ago, and also mostly because i was acquainted with the writer. ...i don't have that artwork on hand right now death note = didn't really get involved with the fandom + i enjoyed my own ideas well enough! ...i can't recall if i drew long-hair-L art before or after seeing other artists do it. and as for everything else the same kind of reasoning applies. didn't really get involved with the fandom or wasn't really compelled to make art in response to stuff i saw, or i just don't remember anymore.

buuuuuuut if we're opening this up to just... pulling ideas from other people? then yeah, all the time, though that kind of goes without saying when you have a creative hobby. ...it's probably going to be hard to come up with examples of this since it's more ambiguous.

there's uhhhhhh... kuwana listens to nickelback which was a @/four-white-trees invention, wasn't it? (EDIT: and @/overdevelopedglasses!) (not tagging in this post so he doesn't feel obligated to read my big ass ask responses 💀) as of writing this, it's not posted but i did end up making kuwagami art based on a nickelback song so. yknow. there's that LMAO

for sawashiro and arakawa, i do sometimes go reference @/todayisafridaynight 's art to help me with my own. ("how did he draw this part of the suit? oh, like that huh? hmm" <- this kind of thing)

and um. i'm not trying to pander to you (at least not this time), but genuinely it's one of the few examples that come to mind at this moment. but when i was writing my first kuwagami fic, i could feel the influence of the ever-changing on my brain... was turning over some of your ideas there...

Hi, darling! Good day/night to you, too:) I`m sincerely sorry for answering late😖

There is no detailed description of the brothel incident for us to analyze but still I don`t think the courtesan who was supposed to attend to Aemond was to blame for what happened. After all, she was a sex worker who was paid to do what she did. If we knew more about Aemond`s actual reaction to her actions, it could have made a difference here but we do not. My guess is that he endured the discomfort so as not to be perceived as weak.

That leaves us with Aegon being the one to blame here. And he is. Was it a good idea to take his dutiful, studious younger brother to a brothel and expose him to the world familiar to Aegon himself but completely foreign for Aemond? No, absolutely not. But I genuinely do not believe that Aegon did this to hurt or humiliate his brother (or make him uncomfortable in any way). In this post I talked a bit about his desire for Aemond`s company and the need to get closer to him - in any way he can. Aegon was so desperate for bonding and intimacy (non-sexual in this case) that he tried to achieve it by basically 'gifting' to Aemond a piece of his life outside the walls of the Red Keep - so that they could share it and enjoy it together, so that Aemond could look at him and understand him. Alas, it didn`t turn out the way he imagined.

The dull thump of fists hitting a punching bag fills the air. The gym smells like bleach, masking the smell of old blood and sour sweat. He's been punching for almost 30 minutes now, his body glistening with sweat and his movements sharp and agile.

You stare at him from a distance, the sight of him making your breath hitch. You felt kinda like a freak. Standing there, staring. Like a hunter, watching its prey. That comparison made you chuckle and he must have heard you, because his movements still and he turns to look at you.

Blue eyes glisten with amusement and something else that you can't describe when he sees you by the door.

"Something funny, vesla?" The nickname made a chiver run down your spine.

you smiled. "Just a random thought. Why do you keep calling me 'vesla'?" You cocked your head to the side and squinted your eyes.

A smirk appears on Thor's face. He slowly starts to unwrap the bandages covering his knuckles as he walks towards you. He stops when he's almost toe to toe with you, you can feel his body radiating heat.

"Well… you are tiny. Vesla means tiny." A blush creeps up your neck and you could feel your cheeks heating up. Thor steps even closer, his breath fanning over your face.

He reaches out for you, his hand gently caressing your face - tucking a few stray hairs behind your ear.

He leans in and whispers in your ear. "I bet you would be so easy, vesla. I could just touch you, and you would beg me to fuck you."

Heat pools in your tummy but the feeling is not all desire and excitement. Anger flares in your blood.

You meet his stare, the defiance and thunder in your eyes make Thor take a step back. You straighten your back and square your shoulders.

"Beg you say. Beg?" The laugher coming from your mouth makes goosebumps appear on Thor's skin and you can feel the change in the air. Thor looks almost afraid now, like he's done something wrong. He tries to take another step back but you bring your hand up, gesturing for him to stop.

"tsk, tsk, tsk. Be a good boy now." your voice is low and taunting. Realization paints Thor's features and he lowers his head as he steps towards you. You smile sweetly at him as he stands right in front of you.

You reach up and stroke his cheek lightly, he sighs deeply and leans into the gentle touch. You pull your hand back and slap him hard.

Thor groans in pain, his face turned towards the floor.

You put your finger under his chin, forcing his eyes to meet yours. His eyes are no longer blue as a glacier, they are pitch black . His breath shallow in his chest, and lips slightly parted. A smirk ghost over your face and you quickly dive in for a kiss. its desperate, messy, tongues fighting for dominance and teeth nipping lips.

You pull apart panting, Thor leaning in for more. Once again your hand meets his cheek as a slap,and a guttural moan escapes his lips.

"Patience, baby. Patience." You smile and ghost your fingers over his now red and warm cheek. You take his hand in yours and pull him towards the empty locker rooms.

There is a tall bench against the wall. You release his hand and run your hands up your thighs and under your skirt. Thor follows your movements with his eyes and visibly swallows when you rub yourself through your panties.

You hook your thumbs on the hem of your panties and pull them down, the flimsy fabric dropping to the floor. Thor smirks and his hands move to touch himself. Before he can do so you slap him again.

The groan leaving Thor's lips makes wetness run down the insides of your thighs.

You walk to the bench and sit down, spreading your legs.

"Come here, baby" Your voice is sweet as honey.

Thor stalk towards you, dark eyes and tongue darting out to wet his lips.

He kneels in front of you, breath fanning over your wetness. He is about to taste you when your fingers wrap into his hair, holding him still.

"Beg."
