A bunch more Sylvanian customs! ...Well, some of them are Sylvanians. The characters shown from top to bottom: Jenny (tarantula, formerly baby bunny), Mariana (eel, formerly Baerenwald/Forest Family mouse), Morgan (rattlesnake, 3D printed and hand-flocked figure, original 3D “Snake Sylvanian” template by Yapsulli on Reddit), Dayton (opossum, formerly Angelina Ballerina “Henry” figure), and Dayton’s nieces and nephews (also possums, formerly meadow mouse babies). We’ve got a rather motley bunch here! The last photo is a group shot of all of the customs I’ve made so far.
Anyway, these were some pretty difficult and experimental figures! Lots of epoxy clay to turn the baby bunny into a tarantula and the Baerenwald mouse into an eel, and some weird materials like Mariana’s fin hair. Overall not everything turned out exactly how I hoped, but it was a great learning experience and has given me a lot of confidence working with very heavily customized figures.

I scrutinize each photo
Each letter, each tape, each story
Digging further and further back through history
Hoping to pinpoint
Where the weight on my shoulders originated
Who carried it first
How many generations of suffering do I hold
How many ghosts are tearing at my flesh
How many generations of knowledge have I been denied
How much has been lost
How much will be lost
As my fingers slowly erode paper
As obsession wears through the tapes
As each memory slowly becomes unrecognizable
The film strips undulate like intestines
The dust and ink sticking to my hands like flecks of gore
When you cut into my gut
Is it blood that spills out
Or history?

Morning depression plotbunny/headcanon:
As Rooster settles back into the idea of having an actual family, and starts letting people in again - Hangman makes note that from all of the pictures and videos he's now seen, Rooster's fashion sense didn't develop a dependency on Hawaiian shirts and 80s staches until he was in his mid 20s.
Not a big deal. Easy target for a quick joke, maybe of the late bloomer variety, but little else.
But as old friends drop in to see Maverick and his reunited kid, comments are made. Stories are told, and it becomes clear that once upon a time, baby Goose was more of Maverick's duckling. Yeah, he looked like his parents, but everything he learned, did and wanted to do was heavily influenced by none other than Pete Mitchell.
And everyone use to point out how much Brad Brad reminded them of Mav. Particularly when the incident occurred, and they were just trying to help convince Bradley to go home and talk things out with the man who raised him.
But they didn't know the full story, and as time went on Rooster started to resent the constant reminders. Started to hate that when people knew both his actual biological father and Maverick, the only part of Goose they saw were his actual looks.
So he leaned into what he remembered of his dad. He may not have many memories of his own...when he tries and pictures his face, he thinks of photographs and videos, but it was enough.
It was enough that when he finally made it...when he finally got to where he always wanted to be before Maverick stepped in, all people saw was the wall he built around himself made up of brightly colored Hawaiian shirts and 80s stache. Because he was tired of constant reminders of the person who betrayed him. Lied to him.
He hated anything that reminded him of Maverick...including himself.

can we get some more griffy content 🥹 literally anything will make me beyond happy
Finney teaches Griffin how to play baseball in his spare time because Griffin see’s Finn as a big brother and looks up to him!
Finn also teaches Griffin how to braid hair! And make pancakes since,
I headcannon that while Finn is definitely the older brother in the Blake household, he’s also a parental figure to Gwen and Griffin. Making sure Gwen’s hair is braided, making sure they’ve eaten, and have their homework done.

The thing I hate the most about Christmas is that it has the simplest, most obvious holiday gimmick ever (give and get presents) but the Christmas Lovers™ just. Refuse to accept that this could possibly be a factor in why people who aren't children like Christmas over other holidays like sorry but you live across the street from your parents I dont believe that you literally only ever see your family But One Day A Year on Christmas, so the whole "I just love being with family uwu" schtick is so fucking transparent just say you like presents!!! Just say it!
"Oh the strange mystical unnameable magic of Christmas..."
Yeah that's presents and enforced Christianity and it's never been mystical or strange
