FukaFlower - Snuggles in the Rain

Summary:

Rainy days are the best for them. Because that means that they can snuggle in their bed.

Note: I need to make fluffier one-shots with these two!! I love them when they sing together!! Especially for songs like Suki Kirai!!

Take note: in this (relatively short) one shot, Fukase and Flower are both 19 and are already a couple~ <3

Bullying is also mentioned (though not emphasized on). Also, cyborg Fukase, let’s go~~

He was awoken by the sound of rain pattering on the roof.

It was a chilly Saturday morning, the room feeling particularly colder due to the moisture seeping through the windows and entering their room. Fukase could feel a chill creeping up the right side of his body, forming a few goosebumps under his night clothes as he slowly sat up in bed. He turned his gaze to the windowsill of the bedroom, the spectacle of the morning sky littered with light grey clouds greeting him. A soft, soothing melody of rain drops echoed through the room. It sounded like a light rain for now, but who was to say that it wasn’t going to get heavier later?

He secretly wished that it did. Rainy days were the best…

“Mmrph…”

A quiet murmur coming from the figure on his right snapped him out of his thoughts, cueing him to turn his attention to the still-sleeping girl who was lying next to him, some strands of her short white hair splayed across her face. His heart warmed at the sight of her as she snoozed, his body lying back down as he propped a hand on the bed to support his head. How in the world could anyone look so cute and so beautiful at the same time?

Only she would, he internally decided, as his left, cybernetic hand subconsciously reached out for her hair, his fingers combing through it as he let out a sigh of relief. For a long time, he didn’t like how he looked like a cyborg, an absolute oddball in the sea of Loids that mostly consisted of normal boys and girls. Sure, you have your occasional special ones, such as Lapis and Merli being fairies, Oliver being based on Frankenstein’s monster and Hio being a vampire, but him? A boy who looked more scary and intimidating than any other Loid that ever existed because the left side of his face looked like a mess?

He could recall the day that he arrived in the Vocaloid Office, with everyone staring at him and murmuring amongst themselves about his appearance. He didn’t need to take off his headset to hear them discussing about what happened to the left side of his face, or about his left hand, or-

“Mmmmrph--”

Again, his attention was brought back to the girl next to him, her hands shuffling about as her closed eyelids shriveled slightly. A sign that she was about to wake up, he noted with a smile, his hand continuing to brush through her hair regardless of the fact that she was about to awaken.

He really liked combing his fingers through her hair. Mostly due to the fact that she was slowly starting to grow it out again after they fell in love. When he first saw her, she had her snow-white hair in a tomboyish cut that greatly resembled a boy, along with a few lower hairs and a single strand being dyed black. As he learned from her later (and after he had caught the sight of her old pictures that featured her with longer, wilder hair), the reason why she decided to change her hairstyle so much was because of how she had been bullied in the past, how people had picked on her because she looked so feminine even though her voice was androgynous. In her attempt to prove them wrong, she trimmed her hair drastically and changed her whole look so that she could accept herself as a tomboy.

But, as Fukase had heard from her when she confessed her fears to him a while ago, the attempt backfired. And instead of accepting herself, she ended up hating herself even more for succumbing to what the bullies wanted from her. She was a girl, after all, a girl who liked cute things such as cats and sweets. And to think that she tried to cut off her interests like that just because she wanted to prove some jerk’s opinion about her to be true… The teenage girl couldn’t truly love herself as a result of the destructive cycle that she placed herself in.

As Fukase recalled the memory of the past, he watched as the sleeping Loid finally opened her eyes, the violet orbs in them shimmering brightly, even though the sky was barely allowing any sunlight to peek into their room. The sight of her tired face accompanied by their dazzling eyes caught Fukase off-guard, and his left hand quickly stopped as he gave her a warm smile. “Good morning, Hana-chan~” He cooed.

“Morning,” She mumbled back sleepily, her voice surprisingly softer than usual. Perhaps she hadn’t woken up yet.

He chuckled at her drowsiness. “Did I wake you up?” He inquired as he retracted his cybernetic hand from its hovering position above her head, instead guiding it back towards his right elbow perched on the bed. Flower squirmed a little under the covers, her hands attempting to pull them up to her chin. “Mm… You were playing with my hair again, weren’t you?” The girl murmured softly as she closed her eyes again, likely on a pursuit of going back to sleep.

The redhead huffed internally; he wanted to talk to her! Not for her to fall back asleep…

Fukase hastily raised his hand back to her hair, this time ruffling through it in an attempt to annoy her awake. His attempt proved to be successful, as Flower soon opened her eyes again, narrowing them at the persistent boy. “Fukase, lemme sleep…” She complained, trying to duck her head deeper into the covers to prevent him from bothering her.

He grinned cheekily. “Can’t help it, Petals,” He shrugged innocently, despite the otherwise pesky act he was committing. “I just like combing my fingers through your soft hair~”

“My hair’s soft?” A quiet puff came from her mouth as she added. “No way, I’m pretty sure that your hair is fluffier than mine is,”

“Not you too…” Fukase sighed as he shook his head, though he was still smiling. Just the other day, everyone in their friend circle had pointed out how bouncy his crimson hair was, with some of them even telling Flower of how jealous they were that the redhead was her boyfriend. Though she was quick to nod politely at them , the shy girl was secretly beaming inside, her mind floating back to the times when she buried her fingers into his smooth, crimson curls and mused at how soft they were.

“Yes, your hair is very soft, Mr Mad Hatter,” Flower’s whispery voice grew louder as she sleepily placed a palm against his hand, a flawed venture to halt him from waking her up. “Now stop playing with my hair and lemme sleep,”

The impatient tone in her voice was hard for Fukase to miss, however, he only smirked at the sound of it. “How about no?” He insisted as his fingers continued combing through her hair.

“Fukase…”

“I’ll stop once you wake up, Petals,”

“But it’s our off-day…”

“Still not stopping~”

After feeling him play with her hair for a little too long, Flower had had enough with the mischievous boy, her mind quickly devising a plan to get back at him. As soon as he was about to skim his fingers through her single black strand of hair, she mustered all of her strength into her right arm, raising it quickly to grab Fukase’s hand before he could continue annoying her. Her fingers coming in contact with the chill of his metallic skin startled her slightly, though it didn’t faze her too much to stop her from slowly opening her right eye to take a peek at his hanging jaw.

Seeing him look so surprised cued her to quietly giggle as she opened her second eye to shoot a confident look at him. “Well…” She mused softly, the sound of her low voice causing Fukase’s cheeks to grow hot. “If you’re not gonna let me sleep… I guess I’ll have to force you to, won’t I~?”

The boldness in her tone not only baffled the redhead, but he swore that his heart started pounding faster at the sound of it. Her violet eyes flashing with confidence had his own pupils shrinking a little; how in the WORLD could she switch into such an assertive demeanor so quickly? Was her morning drowsiness getting to her?

He couldn’t stop himself from stuttering. “W-what are you gonna d-do?”

Hearing no reply come from the female Loid intimidated him quickly and Fukase could barely move a muscle as she gradually rose from her lying position on the bed, her hand refusing to let go of his as she shifted her body to hover over Fukase, her longer locks of black drooping across her shoulders that were unconcealed by the shirt that she wore to sleep. It was one of HIS shirts, too, which meant that its shoulder length was a little bit wider than her own, allowing her shoulders to occasionally peek out and entice him.

As she stayed in that position, both of her hands by the sides of the male Loid’s head (while grabbing ahold of his hands, too) and her eyes trained on him, he could barely stop his cheeks from turning red, the accumulating heat soon spreading across his whole entire face. He wasn’t a stranger to her being this brave, but that definitely didn’t mean that he was used to it, either.

Before their staring contest could escalate any further, Flower dispelled the silence between them by burying her face into the male Loid’s chest, her whole figure lightly resting on top of his as she squeezed her hands in between the mattress and his waist to wrap him in a tight hug. The air that Fukase had been unconsciously holding onto left his lungs as soon as she started to press her ear against his body, feeling her own heart beating against his skin. Truly, to say that he was astonished was an understatement.

“Uh… Flower?” He asked. “What are you doing…?”

“Keeping you here, of course,” She simply replied, closing her eyes as a sweet smile graced her face. “You can’t leave the bed unless I get off of you. And there’s no way that I’m gonna let you go,”

The red-haired Loid found himself amused at his partner’s plan. “You’re gonna try to fall asleep on me?” He stifled a small chuckle.

He could feel her nod against his chest, reminding him of a memory from a long time ago when he first showed her how his body really looked like. How the nuts, bolts and strips of metal poking out of his face weren’t just for show but were real parts of him. They were all remnants of the accident that occured during his production, the malfunction that caused him, a Vocaloid, to look more like a robot than a human virtual singer.

But unlike everyone else who tended to avoid him and his ‘messed up’ face, Flower was the only one who seemed interested in him. Perhaps it was the fact that she, a kuudere, could relate with him about being isolated from all the other Loids that ended up drawing them closer together.

Fukase sighed in content, soon wrapping his own arms around the girl lying on top of him to return her hug. “You sure that you wanna sleep on me for the rest of the morning?” He joked, thinking that it must be uncomfortable for her to be lying on a cold surface of metal that was half of his body.

Instead, she shook her head. “I don’t mind it. At least I can hear your heart beating,”

“That’s sweet but…” After feeling a bit bad for annoying her this morning, Fukase was determined to at least make her feel comfortable while they snuggled together in bed. With that in mind, he gently turned his body to the right, causing the female Loid to land on the bed again while his right arm remained wrapped around her smaller figure. A wide but nurturing smile found its way to his lips as his left hand held tightly to her own. “I prefer holding you like this,” He began before winking at her in his usual, confident voice. “Do you mind~?”

Now it was Flower’s turn to get embarrassed as a light pink blush flourished on her cheeks, though she gradually broke into a lovely smile that got her partner falling in love with her all over again. “Sure,” She finally said in a whisper as she moved her body a little closer to him again, partaking in the warmth of his embrace.

Because in his arms, she was at home, protected.

And with her in his embrace, he was at peace, feeling loved.

Outside, rain continued to fall from the sky, decorating the roof of their home with pinpricks of transparent water drops that dribbled down the tiles, the residual water flowing into the vertical pipes of their dorm to be discharged into drains.

But even as the rain poured, nothing could bother the sleeping couple as they snoozed through the morning of their day off.

I’ve been obsessed with this manga, to the point that my brain can’t stop thinking of what would happened in the next chapter... and since the next chapter might be couple of months away (or 1 month-ish, if it’s in October), I decided to write my own take on the storyline so my mind could stop this obsession.

(I couldn’t even write my TezuFuji’s prequel fic for the omegaverse because of this pairing... I really like them more than the first one - I’m sorry!)

CHAPTER 6 - SCENARIO WHERE UTOU FINALLY SNAPPED

“Alpha… alpha…” The words kept on repeating inside his mind and it made sick.

He finally snapped and brought the heated omega to the floor. Sumi yelped out loud, dazed at the sudden action.

“Alpha this… alpha that… spare me the crap.” Utou said out loud. “You all just the same.” With that, he slid Sumi’s pants and undergarments at the same time, revealing an erect cock that was leaking.

Sumi quickly covered his private parts even though his inside was twitching.

“S-stop!” Cried the omega. “W-what are you doing!!?”

“What you wanted, right?” Utou answered with a finger inside the twitching entrance.

Sumi arched his body and cried out loud. The induced heat created by Alpha’s pheromone made his body more sensitive. He quickly covered his moans using his hands.

Utou was also feeling it. He kept stretching the twitching entrance with his fingers. He also stroked the leaking entrance.

Maybe it was the potent pheromone that made his mind goes blank. He was also hard as he stretched the red and leaking entrance to the limit.

Sumi’s lower body was reacting to the touch. He was flushed red and crying. The touch was rougher than before and it brought back some past memories. Even though his body was craving for it, his mind wasn’t.

Utou’s fingers went deeper and pushed that particular spot. Sumi quickly buckled his body and used his legs to hit Utou. His body trembling.

“Seriously.. you…” Utou protested, carressing the bruise on his face.

He then removed his tie and the top buttons on his shirt. He grabbed Sumi again and forced him to turn around. Using his neck tie, he tied Sumi’s hand together and proceed to unziped his pants.

Sumi’s entrance was leaking and dripping wet, same with his erect manhood. The room was filled with Sumi’s strong pheromone.

Before Sumi could protest, Utou penetrated the tight hole, drawing cries from the omega.

Utou started moving and biting Sumi’s back when he heard the soft whispers.

“I’m sorry… I’m sorry…” Sumi kept repeating with tears in his eyes.

Utou finally regained his senses and he pulled out immediately. Apologizing to Sumi.

“Oi…” Utou said to the shocked omega. Sumi was hardly conscious and Utou cradled him in his arms.

He kissed the crying figure on the forehead and release the tie around his wrist.

“Grab on to me…” Whispered Utou. He then proceeded to place Sumi’s hands on his shoulder.

Sumi continued to cry when Utou stroked their erections together. The beta male gently placed kisses on the crying face, offering words of comfort.

Lustful moans started to escape from Sumi’s lips. The omega started grinding his hips against the beta male.

After couple more strokes, they came together.

CHAPTER 7 - AFTERMATH + SET UP (I wrote this like a combination of summary and fic with dialogue)

Slowly, Sumi opened his eyes. He was on the living room’s sofa, naked but covered by a blanket. He realized his heat was gone and he felt a lot better, but his body was aching. He also realized it was already nighttime and his stomach growled in hunger.

He then heard the door opened, alerting him of another presence in the room. He quickly covered his naked body with the blanket and saw Utou with two plastic bags in his hands.

“Oh.. You awake…” The beta male said to him.

Dumbfounded, Sumi was almost speechless when Utou came closer. He felt a hand caressing his cheek.

“How you feeling?” Asked the beta.

“What… are you doing here?” Sumi asked him back.

Utou lifted up couple of plastic bags and took out two take away ramen (or bento box.. bento box could also work).

“Dinner…” Answered Utou. The spiky haired man placed the take away dinner on the coffee table.

Sumi touched his stomach, he was also hungry. He looked at food silently and opened lid to find a scorching hot meal. It has been 3 days since he has a nice warm meal.

“Itadakimasu.” Said Sumi as he split the wooden chopstick and started eating. Utou also joined and watched the omega eating vigorously.

“I’m sorry… about before.” Utou apologized as he started eating. “I won’t touch you ever again.”

Sumi stopped eating and grabbed the blanket tighter, to fully cover his naked body.

“You know… I never asked for this.” He said, referring to his life as an omega.

“Me too.” Utou replied easily.

Sumi groaned, rather annoyed at the answer, and went back to his food. He continued eating until Utou asked him another question.

“That man.. from yesterday, who was he?”

“My brother…” (Yes.. I have a feeling that it might be his brother – a family member at least.. Too young looking to be the parents.

“Your brother?”

“As I said before, my parents are mateless omega. They can’t really hold jobs because of their severe heat, like me. And without proper jobs, we won’t have the money to buy suppressant and without suppressant, my parents won’t be able to have proper jobs.” Explained Sumi. “So I worked hard from the start to be able to support them, hence that job as a host.” (This one is all speculation)

….

With the heat gone, Sumi was safe to go back to the office. With his smile and cheerful attitude, he pretended everything was all right.

Utou looked at the omega with disbelieve. He was about to have a talk with Sumi when General Manager Hio called for the omega.

Sumi left Utou with a smile, but Utou realized the trembling hands.

At General Manager Hio’s office, Sumi sat down and had a talk about that incident. Hio explained that the incident wasn’t his fault and he would not be blame for putting Sumi in such situation.

Rather than being angry, Sumi smiled and told the Manager that he understands.

“Please bring me to the next meeting.” He said instead, fully accepting his role as a ‘breeding mare’ in the company.

If sleeping around would bring him up the corporate ladder, then he would do it.

Unbeknownst to them, Utou was outside, having overheard the conversation. The beta male quickly barged in and protested about the deal. He took Sumi hand and went outside, somewhere more private.

“What are you thinking!!??” Utou yelled at the omega male.

Sumi pulled his hand away from the beta’s grip and yelled back.

“It’s my body!!” He said. “I do whatever I want with it. If I can use this body to my advantage, then I should use it to the fullest.”

“Whatever happened to ‘I won’t be selling my body even if I die’!!?”

“I was naïve then…” Sumi replied quietly. His eyes looked down on Utou before walking away from the beta male.

CHAPTER 8

Flashback to Utou and his one sided love with Karasuma.

Although angry and annoyed at the young omega, Utou was also worried. He decided to have a talk with Karasuma to explain the current situation.

Karasuma and Takaba were also worried at the current situation. From looking at the current schedule and timeline, they deduced the next client and where the meeting would take place.

Utou was about to leave the room when Karasuma held him back.

“Are you prepared to do whatever it takes?” (or something like that… some important conversation to strengthen Utou’s resolve.

Utou quickly understood and nod, he then quickly left to find Sumi.

The younger omega was in a private room with some alpha clients. General Manager Hio was also there to supervise.

The alpha clients started touching Sumi, groping him and slipping their hands underneath Sumi’s shirt.

Although disgusted, Sumi kept his smile and tried to sweet talk his way to the clients.

The alphas then pushed him to the ground and started to undress the omega male. It was then that the reality started to hit Sumi.

The strong alpha pheromones were affecting him. His body felt hot but he couldn’t come to term with strangers touching his body. He started struggling to the point of hitting one of the alpha.

“The fuck…” Said the alpha male, nursing the injured face.

“No… I don’t want this…” Sumi yelped out, trying to break free from the other alphas.

Manager Hio looked at the omega coldly and gave a warning to Sumi, rather than helping.

“If you can’t even do this much, there’s no point in keeping you.”

Sumi went quiet immediately. He was scared to lose his jobs. He stopped struggling as the alpha inserted his fingers inside the leaking hole.

“You said you don’t want it but you are leaking here.”

Sumi could only whimpered as the fingers went in and out of him. He was shaking his hips, despite feeling disgusted by the fingers. His heart cried out for Utou’s gentle touch.

The alpha male withdrew his fingers and positioned his manhood on the twitching entrance. He was about to push when the door slid opened.

Utou appeared, barging into the room roughly and surprising everyone in the room.

“Come on, we are leaving.” Utou told Sumi and was about to grab the omega when Manager Hio (or some other alpha) grabbed the beta male.

“Now now….” Said Manager Hio. “Sasabe-san agreed to this and you should respect that… or is it because you want some as well?”

One of the alpha male started to unzip Utou’s pants and it brought Sumi back to the situation in high school. He started crying again when Utou brought the alphas and manager Hio to the ground. (Karate / Judo style).

“Don’t fucking kidding me!” He yelled out.

Fixing his pants, he grabbed Sumi and covered the omega with his jackets.

“I quit.” Utou said before leaving the room with Sumi in his arms.

(Woot you go Utou boy (if this really happened)).

CHAPTER 9 (last one)

Utou brought Sumi back to the omega’s apartment. He dropped the younger male on the floor and was about to grab some water when Sumi grabbed hold of him.

“I’m sorry… I’m sorry…” Repeated the heated Omega again and again. His body was drenched in sweat and flushed red. The heat appeared worse than before.

Utou tried to break free to get some water but Sumi wouldn’t let him go. He continued to cry on beta’s chest, wetting the work shirt.

Gently, Utou held the body closer and kissed the soft hair. He then started trailing down, leaving kisses on Sumi’s face. He cupped the crying face, forehead to forehead, and planted a kiss on the omega.

Sumi was surprised at first but he let Utou’s tongue to slip inside. The sobbing turned to moan as his body fall to the floor below.

Utou continued kissing him while his hands pinched the redden nipples. Sumi held the beta’s body tightly, moaning and shaking his hips.

When Utou broke the kiss, he realized that Sumi had cum but the omega’s manhood was still hard. Sumi continued to pant for air when Utou left kisses on the exposed chest. He sucked the red nipple while his hand busy stroking Sumi’s leaking erection.

The beta male looked back with his eyes wide opened.

“Put it in…” Repeated Sumi, out of breath.

Utou hovered above the flushed omega and stroked Sumi’s hair.

“You sure..?” Utou asked gently, while caressing the wet cheek.

“Uhm.” Nodded the omega as he grabbed hold of the warm hand and let it rubbed against his cheek. “Please…” He whispered, shifting his legs to indicate that he was ready.

Utou felt his heart pounding rapidly. His body was burning up and the sweet pheromone started to affect him.

As quickly as he could, the beta male unfastened his pants and took out his erect manhood. He then positioned it at the leaking entrance. Grabbing the omega’s legs, Utou pushed through the twitching entrance, drawing loud cries from Sumi.

“Hgnn… Hnn…” Cried the omega. Tears were running down Sumi’s eyes again.

Gently, Utou hovered above the younger male and cradled the trembling body. He kissed the dripping tears away and held Sumi close.

“Are you okay?” He asked the trembling body.

Sumi nodded and held Utou tightly, whispering his name.

Utou grunted from hearing his name. He pushed in deeper before slipping in and out of the leaking entrance. Their hands intertwined, gripping each other tightly until their release.

….

Sumi woke up on his bed with an aching body.

Slowly, he realized the warm body sleeping next to him. Utou’s hands were wrapped around his naked body. Sumi’s first instinct was to pull away from the beta and so he kicked Utou to the floor.

“Ouch!….” Complained the beta.

Utou was also naked and it caused Sumi’s face to go bright red. The events from previous night entered his brain again.

Utou noticed the flushed omega and picked himself up from the floor. He kissed Sumi on the lips and cradled the body closer.

“We should buy some birth control today…” Utou suddenly said, “Just in case.”

Sumi’s face went even redder.

EXTRA (idea for EXTRA)

Even though Utou is a good worker, the companies are not looking for anyone. So he struggled in getting a job.

Sumi went back to work as a host, even though they both don’t like it. He came home one day in heat, having been affected by an alpha.

They had ‘passionate sex’ (lol).

Eventually Karasuma found another job for Utou in another company, through his connecton/ network.

EXTRA EXTRA / SIDE PLOT

Sumi stumbled upon his childhood friend when he was out walking with Utou. They got separated for a bit and the omega male bumped into that beta childhood friend.

The beta friend tried to apologize but Sumi ran away before they could resolve the tension. Utou easily noticed the strange behavior.

The beta friend and Utou eventually met up and they had a talk, discussing about the rape.

The childhood friend was also traumatized by his behavior and his failure to protect Sumi.

Utou swore that he would protect Sumi, no matter what.

Satisfied, the friend parted.

Utou went home and saw that Sumi was still depressed / bothered by the encounter. They had a talk / comfort sex.

Utou eventually bit down on Sumi’s neck, even though it won’t do much, he hoped it can protect him and became a proof of his commitment.

FIN

THAT FELT GOOD.... Okay, I’m tired now....The obsession and wild imagination inside my brain is finally gone…. Now I can wait for the REAL chapter from sensei... that would be coming in some months ;.;

Although I have another scenario where that nice director from chapter 5 got involved. He would bit on Sumi when Sumi actually realized his feeling for Utou. It’ll be like Junjou Romantica.

Welcome to Part 4 of our 5-Part Halloween-themed October series! Last week we checked the ranking for werewolves and this time around we’ll be looking at the oddly captivating hematophages who abhor a good tan. They range from cultured sophisticant to ravenous beasts, but it's usually safe to assume they have some kind of “I only look like a teenager” thing going on.

Love them or hate them, a garlic-rich diet will probably keep them off your neck. Our friends over at Anime-Planet spend day and night cataloguing these unique features and leaving it to the fans to vote on the best and worst vampires in all of anime. A note before we begin, these are the result of popular votes that I can and will disagree with. Only your democratic will can determine who makes it on this list. With that out of the way, below are the 5 most loved and most hated vampires in anime!

5. Moka Akashiya - Rosario + Vampire

Moka is actually a pretty hardcore vampire, or would be if she hadn't been sealed away in what turned out to be a surprisingly messed up way. Slapping a sweet, passive high school girls personality into her body while the real her just hangs around in some sort of purgatory. Not quite sure why she cares whether or not the personality designed to supplant her own is happy, but the real one doesn’t mess around and killing other monsters to protect your favorite blood bag is some pretty high level vampire stuff. Creepy as soon as the cross comes off. Also have to respect anybody with a transformation sequence.

4. Seras Victoria - Hellsing

The most bright-eyed vampire I’ve ever seen. She took all her enthusiasm as a rookie police officer and poured it right into serving Alucard after she got her throat ripped out. Normally I wouldn’t say this makes for a very good vampire, but she learns to direct all that genki energy right into dismembering her enemies and smearing their body parts across several miles of hallway. Neat arm thing too. Kind of a coming of age for vampires.

3. Shinobu Oshino - Bakemonogatari

AKA “Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade” she’s a vampire who is sometimes a voluptuous woman, sometimes a teenager, and sometimes a little girl hanging out in protag-kuns shadow based on plot events difficult to understand and difficult-er to explain. Definitely a badass vampire when the mood strikes causing some major wreckage and ripping out throats but, like the majority of the cast, she spends most of her timing sitting around in sterile, surreal environments trying to sort through her plus size emotional luggage, so it’s a mixed bag.

2. Zero Kiryu - Vampire Knight

Surprised it took this long to hit Vampire Knight. Not really sure how I feel about tsundere vampires, although Veldora convinced me there is a certain charm in an immortal being that has trouble admitting they want friends but desperately needs them to make it through eternity. Still, he isn’t a very intimidating dude. Using a weapon forged in the heart’s blood of an ancient vampire is metal as hell though. Now all we need is a Seraph of the End character...

1. Alucard - Hellsing

There could be no one else. When you’re 500 years old it probably gives you a lot of time to read all the old vampire literature about being one with the shadows and master of beasts. It also gives you a lot of time to cultivate your own personal style. Nobody else on the list has the raw nightmare power of Alucard and he still sets a high standard for creativity when it comes to dispatching other monsters of the night.

5. Shizuka Hio - Vampire Knight

Shizuka is one messy vampire and I’m here for it. Although her background is some peak melodrama, she manages to turn her messed up past around by using it as fuel for some seriously next level personal drama only made possible by her vampiric power of possession. Jumping bodies to mess with other vampires over old grudges is just the kind of shenanigans I’d hope for in proper vampire society. It’s scary in its own way so she gets a pass. Also very hateable.

4. Ferid Bathory - Seraph of the End

I knew it! Man, vampire stories are so difficult to boil down. Centuries old grudges and a propensity for becoming friends with one's food really leads to some complex grudges. Normally I’d label a guy like this a lameass but he’s so over-the-top evil with his affectations and his tremendously fashion forward hip boots, I just can’t hate him. He’s the bored type of immortal that tries to live vicariously through mortals expressions of terror, I guess. Scary in concept but pretty hard to take seriously. Definitely easy to dislike.

3. Asato Ichijo - Vampire Knight

I lack the memory, and likely the article space, to make any sense of what Asato was doing in Vampire Knight. I’m literally not sure if I even understand it. Has a vampire dad thing going on, which is an awful aesthetic combo. Pretty sure he’s just a plot device? He’s also a vampire politician, so that’s two knocks against him. I’m gonna assume you all know what your doing on this one.

2. Incognito - Hellsing

Pretty sure this guy is the first on the list that isn’t supposed to be conventionally attractive. Love the nosferatu body modder look he’s got going. Can always trust Hellsing to deliver the crazy horror, appreciate Incognito spending his twilight years experimenting on humans to make super monster vampires because, well, why not? At the end of the day, I suspect some of the hate might come from the fact that he isn’t The Major.

1. Kaname Kuran - Vampire Knight

I never realized there were so many hateable characters in Vampire Knight. I’ve also come to realize several centuries of shenanigans are hard to summarize in a snappy paragraph. If I remember correctly this guy went into vampire sleep and was so tired when he woke up he regressed to a human child, growing up with Yuki and damning himself to the role of childhood friend that has no romantic propositions, which doesn’t stop him from being immensely stalkery. I’d put an immortal, blood drinking stalker high on the scary and hated list, so congratulations, Kaname.

That was a lot of Vampire Knight, everybody’s eyes glow red, vampires are way more caught up in melodrama than I remember, and I’m pretty shocked that Vampire Hunter D didn’t make the list. Those are my takeaways.

Thank you so so much for your feedback <3 Yeah, poor Fyodor…but also, he was the one responsible for not letting the affair happen in the first place, as the adult he is, and yet he gave in. He should’ve seen it coming.

About Dazai, I thought he’d perfectly fit into this part and the dilemmas that the reader is stuck in, and it was a great chance to write Dazai the way I see him. Don’t get me wrong (and Mai, please cover your eyes) I like him as a character, I love the silliness, the cockiness, the looks, he’s really great, and god knows I indulge in fluffy fantasies about him too, but!! Not saying that he’s a bad person, people aren’t just black or white anyway, but he (or my version of him) definitely did and does bad things with little guilt, and I’m sure there’s a lot more to it. I wish we had a proper backstory for him, but oh well, guess I just have to glue bits of irl Dazai‘s biography and my own backstory for him together. What I’m trying to say is, I like writing Dazai as the opposite of the cute, endearing guy that he is in a lot of fics (and I love that side of him!!!) and write him as a guy that comes off as nice and sweet but is actually kinda sinister. At least I thought it would fit into this scenario.

As of now, there is no sequel planned, and I’m too occupied with my two other series and requests :<

Want an edgy look for your fire pits? This list is the one you need!

Today, we will have a showdown of fire pits that might impress you. Well, we can’t say that they are all grandiose or whatever since these are contemporary fire pits that we will be showing you, you might have seen one in your local home depot or those specialty stores that sell outdoor furniture and decors, but their designs are quite special and unique that we really find them interesting. In our country, we do not really have a lot of this because of the tropical weather that we have here – although of course for the cold areas in the country, people have fire places and fire pits too; but that’s quite the minority.

The first time that I personally saw a fire pit is when my friends and I were in the beach and we wanted to hang out by the shore and scare ourselves with ghost stories – one of my friends made a hole on the sand and inside it he placed dry wood to burn to create a huge camp fire of some sort – now, nobody sees this everyday unless you live by the beach, right? Anyway, so much for that – check out the list below and tell us which one do you actually have at home!

1. Square LP Gas Fire Pit w/ Tile Mantel

This is one rustic fire pit that will surely look great in your patio or your outdoors. The screen base is quite neat and looks a bit Asian, maybe it’s the color, but it does have an old look to it.

Sierra is a fire pit that has bricks as its base and a tile top. The color of this fire pit in what seems a coffee table height seems simple and brownish and can pass for a traditional type of a fire pit.

Now I like the color of this fire pit – it somehow looks similar to a tile roofing I once saw ; plus it has the fire pit which looks like a chimney of some sort if you imagine it looking like that.

This is definitely one gorgeous fire pit – the color of the top is just awesome – it’s supposedly concrete and glass but the color just looks like it’s gold plated or something.

If you saw the body of this fire pit, you see how the weave detail on it is actually really pretty – the steel material used on it sure is neat and painting it black made it more stunning than it already is.

If I am not mistaken, this fire pit is in the height of a coffee table that means that you can easily use this as one when the fire pit is not in use. Although of course the area is only minimal, you have to be careful of spills and whatnot.

Now this is one beautiful fire pit, something you can easily cook smores in anytime. The concrete material on this makes it hard to move around since it is heavy, but still doable – that mean, in a way, this is one portable fire pit.

This is one fire pit that looks like a gas range. I am not certain of its height, but at first glance it looks like a gas range right? Of course this is most likely the height of a table for it to be used to heat the people around it.

This is one example of how a fire pit can make one’s patio or outdoor space prettier and more comfortable in times like this – when you just want to hang out outside and chill with your friends and loved ones.

Bradford is one multi-functional fire pit; this comes with a cooking grate, so you can always cook your barbecue in this one while you and your friends are actually around it and chatting your hearts away!

The details of this marble and slate fire pit are quite lovely. Take a closer look at the tile work and tell me how you find it. The legs of this fire pit is also really contemporary – if in others we see mesh surrounding the legs, this one has an open lower portion; a perfect place to keep the wood that you will be using later on.

Why this Santa Barbara fire pit is really one beautiful hot piece! Pun intended. The shiny top complements very well with the black bottom. Cooke sure did a good job on this one.

Whenever I hear the word Tundra, I usually think about thunder – this fire pit does not resemble thunder in any way, but it’s cool look and feel can easily be an understatement for this fire pit being the bomb!

Well this fire pit has that neat glow to it because of the combination of the material it has to it – of course that it’s faux wood, but thinking that this fire pit has slate, steel and wood makes it one interesting pit.

This is one fire pit that actually looks like a cooking grill already – although I bet this one can easily be used as a grill, this fire pit would be a smart but because it’s portable and multi-functional and will surely complement any outdoor space.

Here is one brown-colored fire pit that looks like your ordinary lavatory. Haha! Just kidding, although did you notice that it has a cover that when not in use, whoever owns this one can actually use it as a table – either a coffee table or a dining table – I’m not really sure though.

If you have seen the other list we have created of circular fire pits, you might remember that we have one in there that has this similar fire cover. It actually looks really sweet that it’s really beautiful. Well, that’s what I think though.

Here is another concrete type of fire pit; this is the second one that we have in this list – although this one looks very much in its natural state. The color is great and I’m sure this one looks as great in black, but this one seems to be rather appealing.

Now that was one awesome list of fire pits! This lists are great for people who actually love their outdoor spaces and like hanging out in them. It is not necessary of course to have a fire pit because you want to hang out in your patio or whatnot, but having one seems to make your space cozier and fun! What do you think?
