Okay, I’m gonna need your “director’s” commentary on this line from Timeless Love because it has been living rent free in my head. I’m obsessed with the imagery here

UUUGHHHH YES YES YES I'D LOVE TO GIVE YOU MY THOUGHTS ON THIS SPECIFIC LINE!

So deadass I was in a very poetic mood while writing His Timeless Love, especially after I had written His Queen as a warm-up before I dove into writing again.

I'm a writer who leans more on the descriptive side of writing. It's also a goal of mine to write more unique lines other than the usual analogies.

Instead of writing "he drew circles on her back," I wanted it to be more...tied to his character, you know? I wanted it to be intimate, to be more poetic, in a sense.

Namor is canonically an artist (and a fantastic one at that), so just describing him "drawing circles" lowkey sounds like an insult to the skill he had honed for five centuries. I also wanted to establish a scene of intimacy with him and reader since it was implied that they're literally naked in bed together after a night of passion if you know what I mean.

Instead of just plain "drawing circles," I tied it to a specific part of Namor's artistry; his murals. And tie it to the fact that he draws these murals to immortalize history—it's him literally painting the murals of his time with reader and regarding it as historically significant enough to be painted on her skin, further emphasizing the point that he wanted to immortalize that little slice of heaven they had in the most mundane setting.

In other words:

"Namor painted the murals of his timeless love on your barren skin—for in the absence of his brush and his inked palette did he meticulously mark his promises in the canvas that was your hip, your back, your torso, your palms...anywhere his hands would so lay upon with great adulation to your name.

And perhaps it was a deep-rooted fear that gripped him like a vice; for you to suddenly be lost again in the hands of death and be reborn with no such spark of recognition. The pain would burrow deep into his heart, but he can take such ill-fated sorrow.

For one reunion carried far more joy than four untimely goodbyes.

At least, by then, he wished the ink that he had painted on the canvas of your skin would bleed through the seams and stick to your soul like stubborn stains—splashes of his love carried in the streams of the little paint that had not been faded by fate who so reared its ugly head for you to drown in the cracks of time."

— When there's only him and Kunikida in the room, he will talk to him about going easier on you. Why? Well because he said so! Kunikida is so done with both of you at this point

— He may take you along with him to investigate some cases. Well, let him do the work while you're admiring how hard-working he is in the background. He will still ask you for your opinion tho. If your opinion lines up with his deduction he will kudos you for that and maybe ask what food would you like to have after solving the case. If your opinion doesn't match, then he will flick your forehead a bit and “stooopid” ing you once then he'll explain what his deductions are in the simplest manner so you'll understand it easily<33

— Oh, he will definitely use his ability to figure out what mood you're currently in. Feeling a bit sad? He will come over to you and give you your favorite candy while trying to cheer you up a lil bit. Someone pisses you off? You can talk shit about that person with him! And maybe if Ranpo is feeling it he will find information about that said person and talk them so they won't bother you any longer<3333

— You want some alone time? No problem! However, I must say that you're his biggest inspiration to get work done. Once you're feeling better, he'll even offer you a cuddle session. How wonderful is that?

— If it is possible, he'll offer you the world and everything nice inside it. He just loves you to that extent ♡

A Request was only supposed to be a two-part series.

In Part 2: An Order, Princess!Reader was supposed to die by the hands of Nakia in those caves. Her order was heard in the witness of Namor, Attuma, and Namora before she took her last breath, hence why the war between Talokan and Wakanda ensued.

I scrapped the initial idea because of two reasons;

a.) A death of a Talokanil royal, especially one that was as beloved as Princess!Reader and literally the heir to both the throne and K'uk'ulkan's divine reputation would cause a much more catastrophic war if we follow the flow of what could happen in canon.

Namor will not yield to Shuri for the death of his daughter and would rather stay blinded with grief, anger, and revenge. Namor would also most likely kill Shuri on the spot during their first war confrontation with the queen while demanding for Nakia and Riri be brought to him for their crimes against Talokan's throne.

b.) A much better idea struck me while writing and it would require three parts for me to finish. Princess!Reader's life must be guaranteed to ensure that this new idea would come into fruition >:DD!!

To add a bit of fluff: Attuma would often intimidate men who liked reader without her knowing. If you're wondering why no one had even dared ask for reader's hand, it's not because of Namor. It's because Attuma will literally beat them the fuck up if they even expressed so much as an interest to court reader.

new fic idea! (actually old fic idea that I'm revisiting)

Years ago, a childless couple in the middle of nowhere are asked to taken a woman's child. The woman doesn't identify herself to them, but she's human with gold skin and white hair, and dressed in purple armor. What's more interesting, the woman is human, but her child is Gar, blue skin and pointed ears, and her white hair. The couple is confused, but they're happy to have a child, so they promise to raise him as if he were thier own.

Its now the present, some time after He-Man destroyed the Ram Stone, and the Sorceress notices Evil-Lyn outside the castle digging in the dirt and trying to collect the shards. The sorceress remembers that Lyn is the last Princess of Zalesia and that the Ram Stone was sacred to Zalesia, and so she does not try to stop her.

When Lyn returns to Snake Mountain, she's cornered by Skeletor who notices that she's collected all the shards of Ram Stone and decides to use them in one final plan against He-Man and Castle Grayskull. It's said that only the blood of the royal line of Zalesia can reform the Ram Stone, and look how lucky he is, the last Princess of Zalesia already works for him! Myehehehehe~! But Evil-Lyn refuses, saying she'll never let him use her culture's sacred artifacts in his schemes again.

There's a fight. Evil-Lyn escapes to the protection of the Faceless One, but Skeletor gets the Ram Stone shards.

Now he just needs someone with the blood of Zalesia to reform it for him...
