Off Set Shenanigans

No longer needed for the day, Meryl went home and had a mini meltdown because she forgot her left over noodles from lunch. They were her favorite and she was going to pimp them out with more veg for dinner.

She frantically texted the group chat and though some of the gang had seen, there were no responses. Probably just busy on set. A few hours later, she was about to forrage for something else when her doorbell rang.

Nai stood there with a pleased-to-be-helpful smile. "Noodle delivery for," he pretends to check a note in his hand, "Airhead."

She squealed, "Oh my god, my knight in shining snuggie!" She hugged him and his eyes widened at the interior of her apartment as she squeezed his waist.

"Don't you live southside? I can't believe you came so far out of your way. Let me make some tea for you." Words just kept tumbling as she took the bag and started puttering while Nai remained in the doorway. "I bet I can beef this up enough for two, thank you so much."

"Don't worry about it. I was on my way to the gym, but thank you for the offer. Enjoy your dinner." He waved and made a hasty retreat, a blush blooming on his cheeks as he went down the stairs.

Legato swooped Nai when he finally arrived at the gym near his own place. "Where you been, I had to get another spotter."

"Sorry, mate. I took Meryl's food to her."

Legato stalled his knowing look. "Doesn't she live north of the river?"

"Yeah... she called me her knight in shining snuggie. Ha ha."

"You love it."

"Yeah."

"Mhm. Get on the bench."
