The overall success of the comeback

They will still maintain their current success as a group, but the comeback might not go as well as they expected, but it'll be stable, and it won't be more successful than their previous comeback, but they will gain more respect, and they will create a solid foundation with this comeback, they will start to hold power in the industry and will inspire others even more, this is giving the leader of 4th gen vibe. I mean with all of their wins at the MAMA I wouldn't be surprised.

But there might be some controversy again or some problems from the past that reoccur. I feel like it's something that has to do with Min Hee Jin (again🤡). Like they used to be kind of like "Everything will be fine" and act as nothing happened but when the problems keep coming back again they are like "Oh actually it's not fine", it would make them feel hopeless, and they will have a hard time walking away cuz they still want to change the past but they keep coming back to the bad situations, they really want to move on from it already but couldn't. But there's some improvement here, they learned lessons from the past.

They could be a bit confused and don't know which path to take, kinda started to get lost in their direction, there might be some fear of change here but even with all of this they still going to be successful. They will still get opportunities as usual.

Basically kinda still the same? No drastic changes. But it's considered successful to me.

Concept

For the title track, it will still be in this theme of vibrant and cute concept? But maybe with some dark twist? Idk it feels kinda heavy but I see vibrant colors and they are having fun and laughing. It will still be something really 'NewJeans' vibe, a joyful vibe. Might talk about love and relationships. Wearing a skirt, pink, feel confident, chill but also a bit dark, outdoor?. Each song from the album might have different vibes (if it's an album with multiple songs).

Public thought

Very positive, they see the comeback as full of potential, full of ideas, and inspiration, and NewJeans could learn and grow more. It will make the public feel optimistic and encouraging, they will like it.

alright so unfortunately I don’t think she has many people she can call close to herself, in fact many people might pretend to be her friend in order to betray her in some ways. so, with easier words fake friends. this is very much likely from jealousy as they wish to have what she has, want to become a person just like her but lack the necessary factors in order for them to be like her. so, they are just there to observe? so perhaps a few people are also curious if her actual personality is the same as she shows to the outside word, the people she works with and interacts with in a daily basis. I also do see some potential love interests for her that only wish to use her for their very own benefit. they have intentions that I am honestly not comfortable writing out so I won’t but! her members, especially from the maknae line, seem to really cherish and adore her. i can definitely see a few younger ones quitely look up to her.

Everyone in NewJeans are feeling really messy, to be honest.

Minji is trying to fight with her actual feelings (which are, with one word, mess) and get over this situation. She's trying to work for the group's comeback to move on and be at least neutral, she doesn't know either. She's really a mess.

Hanni on the other hand is the most positive about all of this out of NewJeans. Although also passive, Hanni is trying to be positive. "They're thinking about how NewJeans will be more successful, right?" (that's what I felt she is saying) But honestly, she cannot help but to try to be patient. She tries, but with the time she might become more pessimistic..

Danielle is THE WHOLE OPPOSITE. I sense now that she's more chaotic than the other members, and not only that. Her optimism fell down waaaay quickier than she has, i don't know, expected? In seconds she became way sadder, way dull.. She's broken down into pieces. Like the smallest I've ever seen, you know? She's really.. broken. Out of everyone in NewJeans, she accepts this very extreme, very deep and is afraid for the worst to happen.

Haerin would prefer to rest and not think about it. With very passive thoughts, she might want to take a hiatus because of her mentality, she tries to make the next move that will be more beneficial for herself but she seems to be.. stuck. She doesn't knwo what to think.

Hyein is with neutral thoughts too, but a bit more optimistic. She hopes everything will be okay despite that she's injured.

I'LL-IT on the other hand aren't fully aware of what's going on.. or aren't aware at all.

Yunah excepted something to happen but not in this way. She tries to go through her journey as an I'LL-IT member despite everything.

Minju's aware of everything THE MOST. "Oh, Min Heejin's just jelaous!" "Oh, NewJeans are just the demo version of us!" might be things that she's thinking. Minji seems to go into .. a chaotic phase where she doesn't feel herself at all and tries to blame everything on other people who aren't at fault at all that aren't in BELIFT instead of her company or the corporation as a whole. Deep inside, she is mad and tries to not act bratty in front of everyone because she is aware she'll make everything worse. I see Minju is pissed.

Moka is thinking in the most balanced way out of everyone. It's similar to Yunah in the way she expected something to happen, but it's like "I expected to happen exactly like that, but I thought it will be even worse", like she saw the future or knows the body language TOO WELL despite of her age. Similar to Soobin, I believe so.

Wonhee is a knife with 2 blades - positively, negatively, how to see it through? It's just really hard. With these cards that all 3 of them (3 of wands, knight of swords + 7 of cups in the bottom) can be accepted either positively or negatively and not in between, i'll rely on my intuition this time. She is also aware of everything but tries to be chill. She WANTS TO LEAVE THE GROUP. If Haerin tries to make a step that will be the most beneficial step for herself, Wonhee wants to leave the industry altogether. This, for Wonhee at least, CHANGES EVERYTHING. She wasn't aware at all about the copying and everything else. She felt she was scammed, tricked, whatever. She wants to be free. Now, she understands Youngseo the most and why she left. She just wished to do the same as her when they hadn't debuted.

Iroha is trying to move on and is pretty much neutral. She sees it as some business type of issue between a few older people who control everything in the company and is just unaware. She tries to see it on a surface level because she doesn't understand what's going on.

About the conflict, I did separate post because this post will become too long. It's somewhere in the emoji hashtag (the one with the honey and the bee).

11.11.23 ALBUM DESIGN IS ACTUALLY INSANE

Hello, Greener, I said I will talked about this in the last blog but its a huge lied, I'm sorry..... anyway as I mentioned in couple blog ago.... Olly dropped a knowledge bomb that had me all rethinking my album appreciation game (it have always been insane and now its just worst). The album art was not just a visual feast, it could be a hands-on experience too.

So I tooked myself to the nearest record store, which is HMV Baskingstoke. Unfortunately, I really wish there were a lot of indie record stores near my house at the time, because I just kind of sprint there, but I have to go to the corporate one, LMAO.

this prompted me to rephrase my question as "In what ways can album packaging contribute to an enhanced consumer experience?"

Olly used the Velvet Underground cover as the ultimate mic drop moment for me. You can peel down a banana to unveil the artwork! Album covers can provide a unique tactile experience. He also mentions that The Rolling Stones' "Sticky Fingers" album, for instance, had a working zipper on the cover, adding a tactile element to the album. My mind did a happy dance at the sheer mind-blowingness of it. It made me think album covers are not just protectors of vinyl, they're interactive portals to a whole new level of sensory delight. I have always appreciated album covers for the longest time; they are not just a piece of cardboard or plastic but rather a gateway to a sensory experience.

Anyways it got me searching if they are more tactile album, They are "Vitalogy" by Pearl Jams, where the album cover features a textured, pebbled surface which adds a tactile element to the artwork.

another example would be Physical Graffiti By Led Zeppelin, where the cover art depicts a building with die-cut windows that, when opened, reveal various album sleeve designs inside, giving a tactile element to the cover.

but with the digital rise of streaming music, The ascent of digital music users represents a seismic shift in how we engage with music, propelled by platforms such as Spotify. With over 300 million global users, Spotify has become a cornerstone of this revolution, offering unparalleled access to an extensive library of songs, podcasts, and playlists. Its intuitive interface, personalized recommendations, and seamless integration into our daily lives. it kind of suck they are less of these tactile album design, which used to be a significant part of the music listening experience. Holding a physical album in your hands, examining the artwork, and reading through the liner notes added a personal touch and connection to the music. Now, with streaming platforms, the focus has shifted solely to the convenience of accessing millions of songs. While it may be more convenient, it lacks the intimate and immersive experience that physical albums provided.

But I have this other realization that I have while thinking that I wish there were more tactile albums nowadays: “WAIT, KPOP ALBUM DESIGN ARE INSANE, VERY UNIQUE," and it has always been something I have surrounded myself with and have come to appreciate more in recent years, as I had gotten myself into the world of K-pop last year.

K-pop album designs are not just works of art; they're downright insane, each a unique masterpiece. Take, for instance, a Kpop band called Red Velvet's, for their "Cake" album design, it is just a sheer stroke of genius. The entire CD package is cunningly crafted to resemble an actual cake. Seeing it in the flesh left me awestruck, thinking, "This is the peak of graphic design."

All of the things you saw in the album do come with the album, which has already added a more enjoyable experience for the fans when they open the album.

and then there's a band called Newjeans, a true gem. Their aesthetic and concept draw inspiration from the Y2K fashion trend, transporting us back to the early 2000s. What caught my eye wasn't just the music but the packaging itself. Instead of the typical CD case, they opted for a handbag design—a bold move that not only resonates with their Y2K theme but also champions environmental impact. They are truly a leader in the upcoming K-pop industry.

These examples showcase how K-pop album designs go beyond being mere containers for music and become unique masterpieces that contribute to the visual identity of K-pop groups and artists. K-pop album package design is often characterized by its creativity, attention to detail, and unique concepts. K-pop album package design is cool because it goes beyond being a mere container for music. It's a form of artistic expression, storytelling, and merchandising that enhances the overall experience for fans and contributes to the visual identity of K-pop groups and artists.

There are so many albums that half left me in "aw," and I wish I could mention them, but that would take me all day to talk about them, because K-pop covers are truly beyond design. so always, thanks for coming to my ted talk, and see you in the next blog

I'd say that yes, if they put in the work. The debut won't go that well (as of my reading) so I'd say that after some time, maybe even years - yes! They could get to the level of their seniors.

And the Queen of Pentacles is really talk active. So I'd say that if they make content or music that will catch the minds of kpop stans them they will be on a good way.
