The rare occasions when you could wake up beside Jing Yuan in the mornings were the mornings you always cherished the most. The feeling of safety with your arms wrapped around each other. Your noses nearly touching as you laid beside each other.

Although he had gained the title of 'The Dozing General', he was always up before you, gazing at you lovingly. Occasional kisses to your face were given, waiting for you to awaken on your own.

Slowly but surely, you stirred awake as your eyes peeked open sleepily at the man beside you. His lazy smile widened as you rubbed your eyes and yawned.

" Hmmm..? " You hummed at him. It wasn't in any specific tone or even a question, you just were a bit too asleep still to form any coherent words to say. He chuckled at your half asleep expression.

" Good morning, my love. " His voice quietly spoke as you managed to give a smile back.

" G'morning... " His hand rubbed your back slowly.

He looked outside the window before shifting in the bed to get out. " Looks like it's time for me to go, love. " He sat on the side of the bed, leaving you cuddled up in the blankets and reaching out for him. " How about a kiss before I go, hm? " He asked as you nodded quickly in return. He leaned down towards your lips and kissed you gently, letting it last for a few moments before pulling away with a fond smile. " Rest a while longer, I'm sure you will see me later in the day. " He pulled the covers over you and headed out of the room to get ready to leave.

ling and nian are obviously in kahoots about the long term planning and implications of their ultimate goal but dusk really was just pulled out of her neet cave by nian and is once again relegated to little sister by her incredibly smug and worldly older sisters who insist she get out of the house. nians event was full of style and lings event was full of symbolism but dusks event was a mystery that was resolved in less than a week with everyone involved now painfully aware of what an Edgy Threatening Kool Kid dusk tried to appear as. the only reason dusk is even half as threatening as she appears is because she doesnt hesitate in using her god powers, and even then its revealed she wouldnt be genuinely malicious with them, which means everything beforehand was her being intentionally vague to try and appear cool and mysterious. upon their return from yan operator dusk notably spotted by RI personel running through the halls and shouting about how her sisters are hitting her (they arent) and that shes telling mom (doctor) before running to her room (painting(gamer pad))

Something something Nian using her movies as a way to immortalize people from her past and present, but also connecting herself to the humanity she isn't a part of.

The blind swordsman who borrowed a blade, but Nian's ambivalence made her regret the incident and how easily he was forgotten in the myth of the "God metal".

Nian and Lava's first movie was mostly likely Nian wanting to immortalize Lava in a way, but now that Lava is older and the two of still making movies... I wonder about Lava's complaint about Nian's tendency to make herself the main hero at the end of the day.

I'm sure there's an angle where Lava is concerned about her Oripathy and she wants to l ave something behind, but I think it's also Nian wanting to have control over her own fate.

She appears to save the blind swordsman in her movie, when she didn't in real life. She wants to be able to fight against the Sui and win, rejecting her dream/fate of destruction.

Like Geez Lava, I wonder why all of Nian's movies end with a giant monster and her as the main character defeating it?

On the topic of skins, whoever made the Kroos alter skin put all their heart and hornyness into it. Her nails are painted. GOSH, now that I look at it, the jade in her hair is so cute, her heels, the dress and the print of it. The anklet.

The koi fish in the pond, the contrast of the blue background with the crimson lanterns. Look at ALL those books just sitting there.

She sits down and reads the book in her hands in her sprite!!! While I would have smacked her upside the head for rolling it up like that, she could probably head shot me with her eyes closed, thus we let her be.

Regarding the event, I've played it up to EX-2 CM and then EX-3 Normal, so there's not much to grind for.

Me: "WOW, look at that fabulous sassy bird that comes my way and mesmerises me until my vanguards are dead because-- Oh would you look at that, it died, but woe, what is this plate slowly and steadily rolling towards the exit semi-floating so none of my snipers do damage to it."

I've been wondering between the Aak and Hung skins. I have the Aak skin from CC11s shop, and Hung comes around any anniversary.

But Nian... What if she disappears one day? I didn't expect to get her in the first place but if I have the sister, might as well have the skin huh? I mean, look at her!

You Kou, and Nene had brought pumpkins to carve with Hanako in the bathroom thinking all would go fine. Except the Mokkes ate half of the pumpkins now you 4 were left with 3.

Now that Nene and Hanako said dibs on the first 2 you and Kou were left with 1 this ended up in you two declining each others offer for the pumpkin while Nene had started carving and Hanako was watching the two of you like a cat.

You two finally agreed on somehow sharing it, pitching in some ideas you two decided on a creep-cute half face.

You worked on the creepy part which actually impressed Kou! You were skilled "Wow [name]! Your good at this!" He exclaimed with a smile on his face whilst you accepted the compliment.

Nene had finished her's first and it had more of a cutesy design with hearts carved in while you two were far from done. Hanako's was quite messy with all the cut-out pumpkin laying on the floor.

You 4 had finally finished, placing them on the bathroom's small window Nene had asked the fellow mokkes with who had the best pumpkin.

The small mokkes went over to your pumpkin, whilst you looked at them with disdain, 'how could they eat the pumpkin!?' you thought to yourself.

Suprisingly, they liked Hanako's pumpkin best, after all halloween festivities were done you met with Kou at the practice garden.

"[name].. I'd like to give you this gift." Kou handed you a small black box with orange ribbon adorning it. As you opened it a beaded bracelet was in it, you noticed that 3 of the beads had [initial] + K on it. How sweet, way more sweeter than candy you thought.

"Thank you.. Thank you so much!"

Like you've got Nian, Dusk, Robin, Whisperrain, Fiametta etc being so into movies, with the end of Whisperrain's oprec showing Robin inviting her to watch a movie with her. I really want an event where we'd get to see them all just hanging out, maybe going on a small adventure

Nian is still my favorite Sui sibling and my favorite character in the game overall and i'll never stop being sad about how she got a three part Vignette event that didn't even actually happen that doesnt explore her character very much at all while her siblings got large scale side story events that she hardly shows up in.

Officially Translated Rhodes Island's Records of Originium: Rhine Lab: (Offical Website)

A canon manhua centered around the circumstances that lead to Silence falling out with Saria and joining Rhodes Island with Ifrit, as well as Ifrit's attempt to save a dying infected stowaway on the landship. Essential reading for understanding the Rhine Lab storyline and characters - read it right after Mansfield! One of the characters, Darya, is mentioned in both Ifrit's module and briefly in Lone Trail.

Rhodes Island's Records of Originium: Blacksteel: (Official Source)

A short story focusing on the lives of the Blacksteel operators aboard the landship. While it often gets overshadowed by the Rhine Lab manga which is bigger in scope, this is a great read especially if you're interested in Franka or Liskarm.

Rhodes Kitchen -TIDBITS-: (Official Source)

An anthology story related to the cuisine that's important to a variety of operators. While it might seem unassuming, the art is gorgeous and it's really well-written. I particularly recommend the Goldenglow (Chapter 4) and Rosa (Chapter 5) chapters.

As the title says, a series of non-canon anthology stories regarding the cast of Rhodes' Island! Note that the link provided only has complete translations up to Volume 4 (and Vol. 4 is missing Ch. 7), and most of the chapters avaliable after that point were MTL'd, so I can't vouch for their accuracy. Chapters I'd recommend are: Volume 1: Chapter 12 (focused on Myrrh trying to improve her medicine), Chapter 14 (focused on Saria and Silence trying to put apart their differences to take Ifrit on vacation, afaik the only place where they are directly referred to as her "moms") Volume 2: Chapter 1 (Manticore tries to make friends), Chapter 3 (The LGD gets drunk), Chapter 11 (Texlapp and Mosexu yuribait), Ch. 13 (Magallan tries to find a pet), Chapter 16 (Ethan spies on the interior lives of Rhodes operators) Volume 3: Chapter 6 (Snowsant, Ifrit, Nian and Shaw are forced to make friends), Chapter 7 (Gummy flashes back to Chernobog), Chapter 10 (FEater and Shaw yuribait), Chapter 13 (Blackout on the landship, as well as Ayerscarpe and Leonhardt yaoibait)

Unfortunately, only translated up to Chapter 6, but one of the characters (Elba) has a brief cameo in Light Sparks in Darkness! Edit: Chapter 7 has been translated by @pooce-art, and they're working on Chapter 8!

Angelina: Sketches of THIS Messenger's Journey: (Mangadex)

Also published as part of the Terra Historicus website and not yet officially translated, focuses on the adventures of Angelina travelling across Terra as a Messenger! Recent chapters relate to the upcoming Sami event & IS4, as well as the upcoming So Long, Adele.

Prelude Suite: Unrestrained Play: (Wiki)

Unfortunately, I can't find a full translation for this one - an epilogue to Hortus De Esscapismo focusing on Arturia's background. Of course, major spoilers for Hortus apply - if you can find a full translation yourself.

As well, an upcoming manhua focused on the Break the Ice cast was annouced during the 4.5 Anniversary stream. As far as I'm aware, chapters have not begun releasing yet!
