Kagami Hayato

He would be confused when he feels you lightly tugging at the hem of his shirt.

And no matter what he’s doing at that moment, he would immediately stop to give you his full attention.

Is worried at first that something is bothering you or anything of that sort.

But once you tell him you just needed a hug, he’s relieved and will happily give you what you asked for.

If what he was previously doing was nothing urgent/too important, he would spend quite a long time hugging and chatting with you.

If what he was doing is urgent, then the hug will be a bit brief before he explains to you that once he’s done with the work, he’ll spend the whole day cuddling with you.

Kaida Haru

Man is a putty in your hands when you tug at the sleeves of his clothes.

He knows you want something from him but he doesn’t know what exactly you want, but either way, his attention is all yours.

Like Kagami, he would abandon whatever he’s doing at that moment for you.

But once you ask for a hug and he hugs you, it’s very hard to push him away.

For example, he has to be at the studio at 8a.m, and he would be hugging/cuddling with you till 7:55a.m.

So when you ask him for a hug, please make sure his schedule is free for at least the next 3 hours.

Fuwa Minato

His reactions are so nonchalant yet attractive that it makes you ten times more shy than you already are.

He would immediately wrap his arm around your waist and would go “yes? what’s wrong?”

JSHFJHFD THIS SCENARIO IS SO ATTRACTIVE IN MY MIND I CAN'T

Ahem anyways

He finds you adorable and isn’t afraid to tell you exactly that.

Fuwacchi is the type who would let you sit on his lap while he does his work and would leave a gentle kiss on whichever part of your skin is exposed to him.

Kenmochi Tōya

Would never admit it, but he secretly loves it whenever you tug at his clothes for his attention.

You’re so cute he could literally perish but hey, he’s the Kenmochi Touya so you won’t ever find him simping.

Already knows what you want but would still go “what’s wrong?” with his eyes glued to whatever he is doing at the moment.

Man just wants to hear you say it, to be honest.

Would give you a kiss and ask you to wait a little more until he’s done with his work.

Not that his work comes first before you. No.

But it’s simply because he doesn’t want to have work still waiting for him while he spends time with you.

He wants his schedule to be completely free before he spends his time with you.

I've been in the vtuber hype since 2021, and my hype is Nijisanji JP, especially Kagami Hayato, Kaida Haru, and ROF-MAO as a whole.

This is when Kaida is practicing for Niji Proseka 2024 tournament, playing Kashika. I love how he reacted to Kashika's lyrics, as it is my favorite song...

KANAE :: whenever he goes out on shopping sprees, he buys A TON of chapsticks and lip balms in your favorite flavors so you pull him to a kiss more often. he alternates them each time you hangout to see if you can tell the difference

KUZUHA :: always brings with him an extra handkerchief in his bag whenever you go out incase you forgot yours. would scold you for leaving your hankies in his apartment. you don't think much of it because you know he'll take good care of your belongings

KAIDA HARU :: this man frequently finds a way to be next to you before interlocking his pinky with yours as you walk side by side. he leads the way all while tugging on your linked pinkies so you follow

KENMOCHI TOUYA :: it catches his attention every time when your laces are untied. on most occasions you don't even notice yourself. he insists on tying them for you. props your foot on his knee carefully while lacing the strings together, making sure that they wont unravel any time soon

MAYUZUMI KAI :: mayu lets you paint his nails when you come over, all while a song plays in the background as you ramble on about your day. a song from a playlists he made that's dedicated just for you.

FUWA MINATO :: he impulsively adopted a puppy and brought it home without you knowing. you had a bit of a a fight but your anger mysteriously disappeared once you got a a good look at the little pup who’s been playing with the toy fuwa bought. he named it after you in the end.

KAGAMI HAYATO :: he has a picture frame of you and him on your very first date, sitting on his office desk. when he gets stressed over work, he glances at the bright smile you have and his sour mood dissipates.

MASHIRO MEME :: has many trinkets he's collected and bought that remind him of you. he even has an entire cabinet dedicated to keeping them safe. it's not a hoarding problem, shiro just likes to keep items that remind him of a memory you had together.

GENZUKI TOJIRO :: cozy domestic moments with gen where he comes out of the shower and you dry his hair while you talk about anything that crosses your minds. he feels so secure with you as he feels you leave butterfly kisses across his neck with a small giggle

NAGAO KEI :: is always excited for the occasions where you showcase the new clothes you'd buy. the bedroom became a makeshift runway as you come out of the bathroom with the new outfit you purchased earlier. your biggest supporter as he continuously praise your sense of fashion

桜魔大戦譚 (ōma taisen tan) - story and character basics

VΔLZ fandom, hello! So far I have not seen any English translations of the story chapters that VΔLZ is releasing little by little on YouTube. This post is to establish some background info.

----- Explanation of the title -----

大戦譚 (taisen tan) sounds poetic and grand, and I favor translating it as "Great War Chronicles."

大 = big/great/important 戦 = war/battle/combat 譚 = tales/lore/legends/etc., a classier word for 'story'

Therefore, my translation of the title is: "Ouma Great War Chronicles"

Side note: I've seen the name of VΔLZ's home nation translated as both Ouma Empire and Ouma Kingdom. These are both accurate; however, I'd like to add that the word 皇国 (kōkoku) literally means 'emperor nation' and implies a government structure with an emperor or similar royalty at the top.

----- Story setting, directly translated from the opening narration in episode 1. -----

In the place called the Ouma Empire, there exist People, Gods, and Demons.

"People," referring to humankind; "Gods," referring to the beings who, gaining power through people's faith, bring benefit to people; and "Demons," referring to the beings who cause harm to people.

Such was the Ouma Empire, which at a certain time, was struck with natural disasters and epidemics, famines and so on, an array of catastrophes.

In the rebuilding of the nation, the era was renamed "Shinwa." Borrowing power from Gods, People exorcised Demons and the nation was resurrected.

Suppose, when Demons should appear, and nothing can be done with the People's power alone; The People pray and make offerings to the Gods, seeking peace.

In answer, the Gods grant them wisdom and talismans and such. Thus, under the protection of the Gods, People exorcise Demons, and the nation shall be maintained.

In this way, the Ouma Empire's People, Gods, and Demons came to coexist in balance and comprise the nation.

And so, the fifth year of the Shinwa Era – The present

T/N: 神和 (shinwa) breaks down into: 神 - god/heavenly/divine/etc. 和 - peace/calm/harmony

Kaida Haru - "A researcher at an institution of the Ouma Empire who studies Demons. He takes pride in his brilliant analytical skills and knowledge, however, has a calm and somewhat airheaded personality." Vertical text: "Great innovations come with risks, that's a given."

Nagao Kei - "An exorcist at an institution of the Ouma Empire. Not only is he a master in swordsmanship and martial arts, but also in magic and sealing spells. He commands a large number of excellent subordinates." Vertical text: "The wicked will perish by my hand. Both demons and humans alike!"

Genzuki Tōjirō - "A government official of the Ouma Empire. He may converse and negotiate with the Gods. Soft-spoken, he excels in preventing conflict with his crisis management skills." Vertical text: "Again with the Gods' selfish requests... Can't be helped, leave this to me."

The story does not represent the history prior to their debut as streamers and will have no relation to their current activities as streamers. Please consider it a parallel world where they stayed in their old jobs in the Ouma Empire.

The split between the VΔLZ members and the characters they voice is further denoted by the character names. They are using the same surnames, but their given names have been changed to hiragana.

Kaida Haru

He really wants to go and make you a glass of milk when he sees you awake but boy is he so sleepy.

He can barely open his eyes or form a sentence that makes sense.

So he just settles in pulling you into his embrace, one arm wrapped around your waist while the other rests on your head, fingers tangled in your hair.

He would gently massage your scalp, hoping it’d make you sleep.

Probably fell asleep in the middle of massaging your scalp but it’s fine since he’s cute.

Shu Yamino

Is very concerned to find you awake and asks you what’s wrong.

When you tell him you just can’t seem to fall asleep, he’d offer to make you a glass of milk or hot chocolate.

He would stay awake and talk with you while you finish your drink and are able to fall asleep.

From that night onwards, he makes a mental note to always give you milk or hot chocolate before you go to bed so that it helps you sleep better.

He's such a sweetheart.

Mysta Rias

He loves you so much, he really does. But what the actual fuck are you doing with your eyes opened wide at 3am.

As much as he loves you, he isn’t willing to get out of bed to entertain you.

Would pull you against his chest and shush you to just go to sleep.

Like, sir? What’s so hard to understand that you just can’t sleep?

Though he’s acting all annoyed, he would gently pat your back and makes sure you fell asleep before he falls asleep again <3

Elira Pendora

She probably couldn't sleep either.

Would ask you to play a game with her and she promises that it won’t take long.

If you don’t want to play games then, midnight snacks it is.

Both of you would spend time sitting on the kitchen counter, snacking away on foods that the dentists usually advise not to eat at midnight.

The next morning both of you wake up to unwashed mugs and plates in the sink from last night.

Now go and play rock paper scissors as to who’s going to wash them.

Nijisanji Otome Au (Reincarnated Villian):

-Kaida is a busy body who isn’t quite happy with his life cause all he does is work and go home to play games. His only friend is Hoshikawa who convince him to play an Otome game one day, which he agrees due to the good reviews.

-Upon playing the game he gets isekaied and realize he’s now playing as the villain, much to his dismay and tries to get out as in game the villain ends up dying for the plot. He’s a student at the academy where everything takes place but is extremely skillful at magic just like in the game. The only problem is magic is illegal

-The main character of the game is Hoshikawa, though this Hoshikawa doesn’t seem aware that she’s in a game. The usual path the main character can go are most of the Niji boys but Kanae and Fuwa seems to be the fan favorites irl. (The Paths are: Kanae, Fuwa, Mayu, Kuzuha, Kagami, Lauren, Axia, Ibrahim, and Ebio)

-Kaida has no intention to be involved what so ever but cause of his luck, he seems to always be stuck in a bad situation much to his dismay and considers giving up before Akina crash into his life. Due to being kind of shy, people see his shyness as him being a jerk and not wanting anyone around him.

-Akina is a plain background character and is often seen as the side kick of Fuwa’s pathway (Both Mayu and Fuwa have pathway in the game, Akina doesn’t, they are childhood friends) hence why he seems to have a plainer design (in the actual game Akina wears his mesh normally, in the world Akina wears it in a braid like his new default model).

-In real life a lot of people don’t find Akina relevant (same can be said in game) compared to the other two. Most likely cause Akina is a sick prince who can’t leave his home and is only a plot device for Fuwa and Mayu (he is set to die from his sickness)

-Akina basically goes fuck it, and messes up the entire game by kidnapping running away with Kaida because he hates being locked up. So the story revolves around the cast trying to catch them while they basically go on the adventure of their lives almost dying 24/7 (Akina having the time of his life, Kaida about to shit himself). Song Inspiration: ‘Your Adventure Log Has Vanished!’ by WONDERFUL☆OPPORTUNITY!

-While Kaida’s luck is awful, Akina’s luck is good but not great by any means. The end results just ends them in the worse situations before accidentally blowing the entire place up. Basically they ruin stuff without meaning to and it saves the day.

-Fuwa being a supposed good man and tries to stop them cause they are seen as villains and evil by everyone for all the chaos they bring. He fails but he does the best job out of everyone so he keeps going after them but somewhere along the way he realizes they aren’t total assholes.

-Kaida can do magic while Akina can’t so he tries to learn it from Kaida, it’s not perfect but Akina can cast weaker magic using a spell book he would get from Shellin. It takes some time but he eventually get the gist of it.

-Eventually Akina and Kaida do get captured but Kaida manages to escape thanks to Akina. Akina is sentenced to death in his place and also claimed as a witch. It’s also at this point where Akina’s sickness is at it’s worst. With Fuwa help they try to save Akina from trouble. They end up failing and Akina is burnt to death, however before he can fully be executed a last minute spell by Mayu saves him but only his soul. Song Inspiration: ‘Lower’ by Nulut

-The new Akina is an angel but his memories are weak and is much more quiet/distant compared to the Akina before. He no longer follows Kaida around as a partner, instead Fuwa travels with Kaida, Akina follows them from afar kinda. The two go together to regain the old Akina back with an Akina who’s more empty.
