I know that the antics of bitter antis on stan twitter aren't my problem, and I'm better off out of there, but twitter is still a cultural hub watercooler. And the malice being spread against Misha by certain anti-Destiel/anti-Misha Jensen fans isn't good and I'm going to say so.

One of them is now harassing people, jumping on con report tweets, jumping on a positive tweet from someone saying they hope Purcon has a cockles panel someday.

Another of them, after trashing Misha and assigning malice to him, and trying to spin this into Jensen as the victim Misha and Bobo's sinister scheming with Jensen as their prey, switched over to trashing Wayward Sisters, and then tried to gatekeep The Winchesters as if the only reason it succeeds and is interesting is because it has Jensen's face in it, which is an insult to the entire cast and to all the work Jensen, Danneel, Robbie, and others have put into the series. And then they claimed Jensen agreed with them. (Then they turn around and spam SavetheWinchesters as if they didn't just undermine its creative value. The only reason this type cares about SavetheWinchesters is to parasocialize Jensen, they don't care about the story or the characters). Meanwhile in reality, Jensen keeps bringing up Wayward Sisters, or expressing his own salt about it not being taken to series. Jensen's support for WS was very open and very clear.

Also it seems that Misha is not allowed to make any jokes about Danneel and Jensen, who are his dear friends. Not only is this hypocritical, since Jensen makes jokes about Misha, and I very much doubt these so-called fans enjoy it when people assign ill-will to Jensen for it, yet it's fine when they assign ill-will to Misha. It's also ill-intentioned wank-baiting and ill-will towards Misha. Not to mention how intrusive this is, to believe they get some kind of hateful dictator privileges over Jensen, Danneel, and Misha's friendship.

These so called fans have said some really horrible things about Misha and it's honestly very creepy, verging on the pathological and the paranoid. They have made Misha into a villain. A horrible friend and manipulator. In their heads.

They don't care about reality. They also don't care how badly they're treating Jensen himself, who they claim to stan, they're that far gone. Their lack of respect for Jensen is pissing me off as much as their insults about Misha. I don't think they should be claiming to be Jensen fans if this is how they behave about him, using him this way for their own hate, their own toxic biases.

Underneath it all, this is a bunch of homophobic dog whistling and I am not going to sit by while certain antis who claim to be Jensen's fans try to paint Jensen with the brush of their own hatred.

The queerness of 15.18 is treated by them as something frightening and evil that Jensen and spn are a victim of, with Misha as the bad guy who forced queerness into spn.

Let it sink in what all this drama really is.

On top of how actually gross it is for people to treat Misha and his friendship with Jensen and Danneel this way, to attack those friendships and attack Misha, and invent lies, all because these stans dislike a fictional queer ship.

This is likely a tactic to cause drama and cause division, maybe they're hoping their drama will turn Jensen and Misha fans against each other.

If they think they're doing Jensen any favors with this garbage...they're not.

re: your tags on that post about jensen’s hesitation with the finale. i was just realizing that this morning..... no one was on jackles’ side when he had doubts. of course that included j*red. if BOTH leads said something’s not right, regardless of “take it or leave it,” or at least both agreed they needed to feel the same positive feeling, things might’ve been different. jensen was told he was “too close” to the story, but he was the only one advocating on behalf of its legacy (besides some others, i won’t blame everyone). clearly he ended up being right because he’s so close. people talk about him betraying others, but i wish they’d realize he has the means and is legally within his right to get the ending or expand however he wants. if others were satisfied with the finale, why should he feel obligated to include them. 🤷‍♀️ and didn’t robbie leave because of controversy? from charlie’s death or something? i heard about it, but can’t confirm. if true, it wouldn’t surprise me jackles brought him on due to a shared understanding of wanting creative freedom and a team they could lean on.

right?! like truly its insane to me actually how there is any blame on him for not telling J*red. the man point blank said the finale was his favorite episode of the entire 15 season show. meanwhile, Jensen is upset and gets told his reaction isn't even valid.

Okay I’m venting here because I need to say this somewhere. Feel free to keep scrolling if you don’t care about my opinion (which you’re not obligated to do so)

Jared did what he did. It wasn’t cool. It was unprofessional, unkind, and just a bad look all around. Especially what he said to Robbie. He handled his feelings in a bad way. And when that happens publicly people should expect the public to respond.

However.

He is human. And just like so many of us who go off in tweets at people saying stuff we regret later- we make mistakes. Some worse than others, but mistakes all the same. And yeah, when we get angry or upset over said mistakes people also say unkind things, it’s the knee jerk response. That’s fair, people can voice and express that hurt, too.

I just don’t understand why it has to come with the cruelty it has been. Or why people are so gleeful about someone else’s pain. Or why people’s spite has turned this into a wwiii level competition for how shitty they can be to this one dude.

First things first- We don’t know any of these men, not really, no matter how much we all parasocialize. Yeah, they’ve opened up to us a LOT but that really means jack diddly squat. So speculating/analyzing/assuming anything about anything that was said outside the public eye all needs to be taken with a huge grain of salt and not relied on like fact. (And frankly whatever happened between them aint our fucking business!) We don’t know if anyone did or did not apologize for anything, what drama or lack thereof is going on between them, or if others are or are not posting in relation to the “drama”. Ascribing any intent or meaning to anything any of them did is, in my opinion, not possibly accurate.

You don’t have to like Jared, you don’t have to respect him or trust him or any of that. But just a friendly reminder that when you treat him like the scum of humanity and only good for rude and cruel jokes… your followers see it. People like me who (yes, also parasocializing) see themselves and their own behaviors in Jared and what he did see the shit you’re saying and it hurts.

((Don’t even start with the “oh look you’re making it all about you just like Jared” b/c trust me I’ve already said anything you can think of to myself))

Sure he did something mean does that mean he doesn’t deserve a little empathy? He made a mistake but he’s still a person. Yeah he’s made them before, I get that too, and those were bad mistakes as well, I fully acknowledge that. But it doesn’t mean he doesn’t regret them after the fact. “He has millions of followers, he's obligated to behave better”. Oh yeah, I forget that when people become celebrities they waive all rights to sympathy and personhood.

Anyway I’m angry, and hurt, and upset, and I don’t understand how this fandom that used to stand for everything good about people (even with its bad apples) has just turned into every other toxic fandom to ever exist. This whole thing should not have been nearly as big of a deal as it is but holy shit it’s gonna be I guess.

Anyway these are my rambling thoughts, don’t know if I’m ever gonna log onto twitter again. ✌🏻️
