Not So Berry Plus Challenge for the TS3

I just wanted more for the TS3 version of this challenge and honestly, who wouldn't. I didn't create this challenge, I simply added and modified somethings to fit more for what TS3 has to offer while trying to keep to the NSB playstyle and heart of the challenge. So if you like the NSB but want more to do in the TS3 version of it, this is a challenge for you.

Disclaimer: I didn't make this challenge, @lilsimsie did. I also incorporated ideas from @simlovinggirl from her TS3 version of this challenge. Also inspiration from @sweetlysimss from their updated version of the TS4 version. Also sim wikia page for all information i need in terms of gameplay.

Do you like the rainbow? Do you like the idea of playing with berry Sims but hate berry Sims? Do you want to mess around with aspects of the game you’ve never used before? Boy, do I have the challenge for you!

Rules:

You can follow the orignal rules of the NSB but I'm not requiring it for this.

You can keep the color scheme for each generation or just stick to the objectives of each generation. It is up to you as the player

2-3 traits are required but you don't have to have all of them for the heir if you don't want to.

🔬 Generation 1: Mint

What a mischievous scientist you are! As a career-driven individual, you still try to hangout with your friends and family and want what’s best for them. But in your free time, you enjoy the misfortune you cause others and love the idea of luxury in your life. Minty fresh indeed.

Traits: Vegetarian, Ambitious, Friendly, Inappropriate, Green Thumb

Aspiration: Become a Creature-Robot Cross Breeder

Career: Science

Objectives:

Reach Level 9 of Science Career

Master the gardening, fishing, and science skills

Meet your match: Marry a sim with the inappropriate/mean-spirited trait whom you get into a fight with. 

Own a garden with excellent quality with rare fruit (life fruit, death flower, omni plant, etc)

💋 Generation 2: Rose

You were spoiled rotten as a child and it made you into an irresponsible insatiable person who hungers for more. Whether it's in your career in politics or lovers you left in tears, you always get what you want and leave the mess for someone else to clean up. Even if one mess ended up with your beloved child.

Traits: Flirty, Workaholic, Charismatic, Irresistible, Schmoozer,

Lifetime Wish: Master Romancer

Career: Politician

Objectives:

Only have one child that resulted from a one night stand 

Gain the “Casanova/Natasha” reputation (for 7+ relationships/romantic interests at one time) or gain the “Player” reputation (for 9+ relationships/romantic interests but none at the same time)

Reach level 10 of Politician career

Throw campaign parties

Master the Charisma skill

Break off an engagement

Get married as an elder

Be distant with your child, provide for them but never be there for them. 

Become publicly disgraced for something

Become best friends with your boss

Live in a big house with maids + butler

🔭 Generation 3: Yellow

Growing up, you never had a great relationship with your parent but you did gain your grandparent’s interest in science, specifically space. As a child, you spent the majority of time enjoying your own company while obsessing over black holes, planets, and traveling to the stars. You spent your whole life dreaming of space, now it’s time to make it a reality. No matter the cost.

Traits: Loner, Handy, Socially Awkward, Brave, Computer Whiz

Lifetime Wish: High Tech Collector

Career: Astronomer 

Objectives:

Your best and only friend is your Grandparent. No close relationships or friendships until they die.

Find a star and name it

Master Logic and Advanced Technology skills

Own a Hoverboard, Dream Pod, Food Synthesizer, Holo Disc, and Jet Pack

Join the Astronomy career and go into the Space Explorer branch

Travel to Simulon V

Never marry because space is your one true love

Neglect your own children but still be friends with them. (no teaching of skills, not caring about hw, etc)

Get abducted by aliens and have an alien child

⚽ Generation 4: Grey

You always enjoyed playing sports and being in the great outdoors, contrary to what your family is interested in. You dream of becoming a professional athlete but you’ve always felt second place to your parent’s obsessions growing up and didn’t want the same for your children. You want to be there for your kiddos as much as possible. So while you’re hanging out with your family, you find music is something that brings you closer together.

Traits: Athletic, Virtuoso , Nurturing, Loves the Outdoors, Technophobe

Lifetime Wish: Superstar Athlete

Career: Professional Sports

Objectives:

Be in the Scouts as a child

Reach Level 10 of Sports career

Master the Athletic skill and a Musical Instrument

Teach all your children the xylophone

Be best friends with all your children

Have 3 failed relationships before finding the one. 

Do outdoor activities with your family (going to the park, beach, camping, etc)

Jam out with your family (once the kids get older) on your instrument of choice

Celebrate the seasons together:

Go to seasonal festivals, host seasonal parties, and decorate the home for family fun.

🎤 Generation 5: Plum

Everyone has always told you how talented you are. You’ve always been naturally good at everything to the point that nothing ever challenges you. This causes you to search for something that will. You tried different careers and learned some new skills, heck, you even tried being a Doctor. But one day at a karaoke bar, you sanged your heart out and realized that you love music and wish to become a singer. Is it too late to pursue your dream in your adulthood? Let’s find out!

Traits: Daredevil, Diva, Lucky, Commitment Issues, Natural Born Performer

Lifetime Wish: Jack of all Trades

Career: Multiple jobs, Medical, Singer 

Objectives:

Make straight A’s as a child and teen

Pick 3 different jobs before deciding on the Medical career

Quit the medical career as an adult to pursue your dream as a Singer

Master 3 skills, one of them has to be a musical instrument. 

Complete all of your midlife crisis wishes

Get divorced and then remarry the same sim

Move to 3 different worlds in your lifetime

Reach at least celebrity level 3 as a Singer

Perform at a big private venue

🖕 Generation 6: Orange

Growing up, homelife was competitive and hectic. You never had stability with your parent’s constant hedonistic whims affecting your life. You also didn’t reach academic success like your siblings who always outperformed you in everything, making you feel like a loser in your own family. But while your siblings were doing their thing, you were doing yours. Stealing. The joy of taking something without getting caught is like adrenaline in your veins and you want more. You also want to learn more about cooking as it calms you down. 

Traits: Loser, Natural Cook, Evil, Kleptomaniac, Hot-Headed

Lifetime Wish: Become a Master Thief

Career: Criminal (Thief branch)

Objectives:

Reach level 10 of the Criminal career in the Thief branch 

Master the Cooking skill

Steal from your neighbors and other townsfolk 

Marry a fellow criminal or someone with the Evil trait. 

Only have twins for children

Cook your favorite food + everybody in the household as well. 

Learn 28 recipes/Menu Maven challenge

Live in a fixer upper home/apartment in YA years

In Adult years, live in a house you can’t afford and purchase weird expensive items for aesthetic

Have at least 5 enemies

📖 Generation 7: Pink

You grew up watching your parents be irresponsible with their finances and let you have a little too much freedom in raising yourself. This causes you to become a very practical individual who believes in the steady 9-5 corporate hustle. Your twin on the other hand, dreams of becoming a big time Director in Bridgeport and you can’t help your envy as you also have a secret dream of becoming a best selling romance writer. As you see your twin succeed in their dream, maybe you too can try to pursue your dreams. Maybe you too can find the love you’ve always dreamed about.

Traits: Frugal, Unflirty, Bookworm, Hopeless Romantic, Neurotic 

Lifetime Wish: Professional Author

Career: Business, Self-employed Writer

Objectives:

Master the Writing skill

Live with your twin while they reach the Director branch of the Film career

Live in an urban city in your YA years, move to woodsy/rural town in your Adult years

Quit the business career  to pursue your dream of being a writer as an adult 

Own multiple bookshelves in your home

Write 5 Romance books in order to become a specialist in the genre

🕵️ Generation 8: Peach

As a child, you loved the stories your parents read to you about dashing knights, charming adventurers,and mysteries to be solved by the world’s greatest minds. You’ve always wanted to become a detective but you also have a thirst for adventure. Why not both?! You work primarily as a detective by solving cases and investigating clues but when you get that itch to explore, you catch a plane to your next destination and meet the locals who will tell you their stories.

Traits: Perspective, Good Sense of Humor, Genius, Adventurous, Photographer’s Eye

Lifetime Wish: Pervasive Private Eye

Career: Private Investigator

Objectives:

Reach level 10 of Detective profession

Move to a different world than the one you were born in

Visit explore different worlds (can be custom/WA destinations)

Master the Photography skill

Bring back souvenirs from your travels

Play chess in the local park and play against other townies for fun

🎮 Generation 9: Green

So popular! You’ve always been the life of the party as you are an outgoing person who's always down to have a good time with friends. But no one would suspect that you’re really just a giant nerd that loves playing video games and painting in their spare time. That’s why it’s such a shock to some that you decided to major in Technology and become a Game Developer. You’re a hard worker who wants to develop amazing games but will party to the break of dawn with no regrets.

Traits: Party Animal, Social Butterfly, Excitable, Computer Whiz, Artistic

LTW: Reach Max Influence with All Social Groups

Career: Video Game Developer (Game Artist Branch)

Objectives:

🍼 Generation 10: Blue

Your dreams are a reality now that you have married the love of your life, had beautiful children, live in your dream home, and work your dream career. What could you possibly want more than this?! Actually… alot. You find yourself dissatisfied with your present circumstances and your eyes have begun to wander onto things you shouldn’t but want to have. As you begin to question and explore your new found cravings, a one time affair produces a bundle of joy and now everything you hold close to your heart is now in jeopardy of breaking apart at the seams.

Traits: Perfectionist, Good, Family-Oriented, Grumpy, Neat

Lifetime Wish: Surrounded by Family

Career: Teacher

Objectives:

Marry your high school sweetheart and stay with them until death do you part

Join the Education career

dongsik's animosity towards juwon after he begins to suspect (and then confirms) that juwon's responsible for lee geumhwa's death really is set up and explained as early as ep2 when dongsik tells that guy at the club 'you didn't do anything to her yourself, so it's not a crime. is that what you think?'

Graveyard Visit

These were a commission for Electric Whims / The Hathaway NSB! ❤️

Five group poses for two adults and two infants, plus all-in-ones. There is a small height difference between the two adults so if you use the height mod, there may be misalignments! Made with masc and femme frames and, as always, there may be clipping or floating depending on Sim body type or clothing. They were intended for a grave visiting scene, but aren't attached to any object so you can easily use them for whatever situation you like.

You will need: - Pose Player - Teleport Any Sim or MCCC - Not required, but I recommend the Bye Bye Baby Rug Hider !

Just place four teleporters on the same spot.

NOTE: if your infants haven't learned to sit up by themselves yet, you will need to wait for them to do their little sitting up/flopping over animation before you're able to teleport or pose them. I suggest posing the adults first so they don't wander off while you wait!

TOU: you may adjust for personal use to avoid clipping etc., but please do not reupload/paywall/claim as your own.

Luke is easy-going when it comes to making plans. Whatever you want, he will happily oblige. Want to see a movie?Bowling? Aquarium? Whatever makes you happy!

Luke has mastered the death glare when someone looks at you the wrong way. He doesn't want to make a scene in public places, but if someone looks at you with a lascivious or scornful eye? His arm goes around your waist, he will pull you tight, he will gush over you and dote on you in a manner that seems very natural... but the glare he gives those scum? Icy enough to chill your bones, sharper than the cruelest knife.

He loves trying new things with you. He doesn't know how much time he has left, so he wants to give you every possible experience and memory that he can. (Plus he just loves challenging himself! Bring on the recipe! The resin crafts! The Renaissance fair!)

Luke simultaneously will chide you if you don't finish your meal and then devour your leftovers. Luke, do you want me to clean my plate or not??

Sometimes needs to be reined in. While in public he keeps a low profile, if you get catcalled on the street or in a more private place (e.g. parking lot, small store)? He has dislocated a few shoulders and caused his fair share of bruises and scrapes. A fired-up Luke will listen to you. But if he dips into Raven mode? Then you have to be proactive and physically stop him. Sometimes you have to grab and pull at his hand or arm, but sometimes a simple touch on the shoulder will do. He needs you to ground him.

Luke's love language is 100% acts of service. He's also big on physical touch (let's be real, our tough secret agent is so lonely & touch-starved), but when he can do something to make you smile? That's worth more than gold to him.

When he wakes up from nightmares, he seeks you out. He wants to feel safe and secure, and holding you (or if you're lucky, he'll let you be the big spoon) helps calm him down. He likes to hear your heartbeat when he's stressed out. (If you aren't living together yet, he will probably call you... or listen to a recording of your voice. You know he has several.)

Luke can be overbearing. It's a combination of alpha male complex (thanks, NSB) and worrying about anything happening to you. You sometimes have to stand your ground and set boundaries. "If I need help, I will ask. I promise I can handle taking a pan out of the oven, Luke!"

Luke may or may not have bitten a guy once. He doesn't want to talk about it.

hi rose!! sadly i only have an answer for this for lukerosa because im constantly rotating them in my brain, HAHA, so theyre the only one ive thought about extensively for this. SO. off the top of my head, here are some conflicts i'd like to see between mc and luke even after theyve entered a relationship

mc's abandonment issues (which exist because of luke's 8 year disappearance) clashing with luke's necessary excursions due to out of town missions. mc doesnt want to be a "clingy girlfriend" and she knows that this is luke's job and she's accepted that, but sometimes her fears bubble up and it shows in over-worry or self worth issues. this would be worry that luke brushes off, because luke Never wants her to worry. plus, he can take care of himself, but this comes off as him being dismissive of her feelings and her reasoning. ARGUMENT ENSUES

luke's over protectiveness in general just existing. IT'S INSANE TO ME THAT THIS, WHICH WAS SUCH A KEY RECURRING CONFLICT IN THEIR RELATIONSHIP, JUST DISAPPEARED AFTER ANNIV 1. even now that theyre together, luke would still be over protective and mc has full rights to continue to be annoyed by that depending on the situation, but luke is also valid for wanting to protect her, who wouldnt want to protect the person they love? ARGUMENT ENSUES

luke continuing on with his NSB work despite his illness condition worsening. this is an issue of worry once again, but reverse, lukerosa is just so full of worry lkjBLKFBSDLKJFL. ARGUMENT ENSUES about how luke should take better care of himself but luke would also be completely valid wanting to continue with his work.

thats just some conflicts i can think of right now at this hour of 4:47am, but you get my point HAHA. lukerosa is very ripe for relationship troubles, and showcasing that would make for some very compelling stories, because theyd work through it and their relationship would become stronger and more nuanced because of it. this would make for such good stories: stories about trust, about perseverance, about how to work together as a couple, etc. i wish tot did this.

but they dont, so all i have are my mental ponderings lkjBKSJLDF

can you do a fic about Oliver Boy from NSB, where the reader is sister with any of the other members like Regie or Justin you can pick, where she comes to LA and moves in with them since she will be attending collage in LA it was just easier for her to move in with them. So Oliver takes a liking to her but from the start Regie/Justin (her brother) made it clear that she was off limits. But when her and Sebastian start getting close as in a best friend way since they are the same age and have similar interest, Oliver starts getting jealous then they get into a argument since she been giving her the cold shoulder. And during the argument Oliver kisses her and confesses and she tells him that she also likes him.

Present time

I went into the kitchen finding Sebastian "Hey Seb wanna go get some frozen yogurt with me" I smiled at him. He chuckled "Alright alright just give me a sec and go get my wallet."

"No problem I will go wait for you in the living room"

I went into the living room and saw Oliver on his phone, my face started to heat up. "Hey Oli me and Seb are going to get frozen yogurt wanna come with."

He looked up from his phone "No I'm busy" he said coldly." H e got up And started to go up stairs and lastly said "Plus I don't want to be a fuckn third wheel on your date."

I was trying to hold back my tears and that when Sebastian came down. "Woah what happened." I wiped my tears "Nothing um lets go."

Once we arrived at yourgrtland. "Seb do you know if Oli is mad at me or something?" He gave me a weird look "Y/N Oli will be anything but mad at you if anyting he's inlov-."

"Uh um he's not mad at you he's maybe stress cause of the music vide, ignore him." "If you say so." I said as I kept eating the frozen yogurt.

Once we arrived I went up stairs to my room to work on some homework. I was about to enter my room when I was Oliver. I smiled at him. "Hey Oli"

But all he said was walk past me and ignored me. I took a deep breath and went to my room. And it went on like that for like 2 weeks.

Oliver would keep his conversation to minimal or no communication at all ignoring me and just keeping his distance. The more he ignored me the more my heart breaks.

I couldn't talk about it with Regie so i confined in Sebastian I consider with my best friend even though I'm crazy in love with his brother he's always there to listen and give me advice.

I was in the kitchen making some popcorn for me and Seb since we were going to have a movie night and I saw Oliver walk in and thought of give it another chance to talk with him.

"Hey Oli, me and Seb are having a movie night. Want to join us? I have pop corn."I said holding out the bowl of pop corn. And again he coldly said "No" I slamed he bowl on the counter making him freeze. "Okay Oliver what the fuck is your problem." "Nothing is my problem, I just don't want to watch a stupid movie with you and my brother." he said back coldly.

"No not just about the movie, you been like this for week. Tell me what I did."

He just rolled his eyes about to leave again until I spoke out again. If you hate me and don't want to be friends with me just tell me that. If you don't want me around just tell me and I will happily move out." I said tears falling down.

His faced soften can came up to me grabbing my face pulling it close to his . "I'm sorry" he let a few tears falling and kisses my forehead then looking into my eyes "I could never hate you" he started to kiss all over my face "Im sorry Im sorry, I" he paused for a minute looking away I pulled him to look at me. "What happened Oli" He look a deep breath "I got jealous okay, I'm jealous of you and Sebastian and how close you both are . I hate the thought of two being together because I'm crazy in love with you. From the first moment we met I fell for you. And I acted so stupid"

I quickly pulled him into a deep kiss and he quickly kissed back. "You are stupid a big stupid idiot" "Stupid because why would you think I wouldn't feel the same way." I said in between kisses

He deepened the kiss and pulled up to kiss onto the counter and went in between my legs. He went down to kiss my neck.

I giggled and put my hands on my hair. He came and pulled me into another kiss. We were in our own world when we heard someone.

"WHAT. THE. FUCK!" We both turned and saw Regie standing there. We both froze and didn't know what to say.

The silence was broken by Sebastian "Yo Y/N what taking you so long. Woah what going on".

"I will tell you what going Oliver is all up on my little sister, didn't I make it clear she was off limits" he yelled.

I got off the counter "Listen here Reginald, you are my older brother and I love you and respect you opinion but you can't decided who I date or not. I love Oli and I want to be with him"

Oliver hugged me from behind. And spoke up "Listen man Im sorry but I love her so much."

Regie stopped for a moment and turned about to leave and stopped "Just don't kiss in front of me and stuff its weird.

I rolled my eyes and saw Regie leave. I turned around and about to give Oliver another kiss.

"This was 100% better than the movie" Seb said while eating the popcorn
