Not So Berry Plus Challenge for the TS3

I just wanted more for the TS3 version of this challenge and honestly, who wouldn't. I didn't create this challenge, I simply added and modified somethings to fit more for what TS3 has to offer while trying to keep to the NSB playstyle and heart of the challenge. So if you like the NSB but want more to do in the TS3 version of it, this is a challenge for you.

Disclaimer: I didn't make this challenge, @lilsimsie did. I also incorporated ideas from @simlovinggirl from her TS3 version of this challenge. Also inspiration from @sweetlysimss from their updated version of the TS4 version. Also sim wikia page for all information i need in terms of gameplay.

Tag: the normal nsb tag or "nsb plus" or "nsb +" or "@" me

Do you like the rainbow? Do you like the idea of playing with berry Sims but hate berry Sims? Do you want to mess around with aspects of the game you’ve never used before? Boy, do I have the challenge for you!

Rules:

You can follow the orignal rules of the NSB but I'm not requiring it for this.

You can keep the color scheme for each generation or just stick to the objectives of each generation. It is up to you as the player

2-3 traits are required but you don't have to have all of them for the heir if you don't want to.

🔬 Generation 1: Mint

What a mischievous scientist you are! As a career-driven individual, you still try to hangout with your friends and family and want what’s best for them. But in your free time, you enjoy the misfortune you cause others and love the idea of luxury in your life. Minty fresh indeed.

Traits: Vegetarian, Ambitious, Friendly, Inappropriate, Green Thumb

Aspiration: Become a Creature-Robot Cross Breeder

Career: Science

Objectives:

Reach Level 9 of Science Career

Master the gardening, fishing, and science skills

💋 Generation 2: Rose

You were spoiled rotten as a child and it made you into an irresponsible insatiable person who hungers for more. Whether it's in your career in politics or lovers you left in tears, you always get what you want and leave the mess for someone else to clean up. Even if one mess ended up with your beloved child.

Traits: Flirty, Workaholic, Charismatic, Irresistible, Schmoozer,

Lifetime Wish: Master Romancer

Career: Politician

Objectives:

Only have one child that resulted from a one night stand

Gain the “Casanova/Natasha” reputation (for 7+ relationships/romantic interests at one time) or gain the “Player” reputation (for 9+ relationships/romantic interests but none at the same time)

Reach level 10 of Politician career

Throw campaign parties

Master the Charisma skill

Break off an engagement

Get married as an elder

Be distant with your child, provide for them but never be there for them.

Become publicly disgraced for something

Become best friends with your boss

🔭 Generation 3: Yellow

Growing up, you never had a great relationship with your parent but you did gain your grandparent’s interest in science, specifically space. As a child, you spent the majority of time enjoying your own company while obsessing over black holes, planets, and traveling to the stars. You spent your whole life dreaming of space, now it’s time to make it a reality. No matter the cost.

Traits: Loner, Handy, Socially Awkward, Brave, Computer Whiz

Lifetime Wish: High Tech Collector

Career: Astronomer

Objectives:

Your best and only friend is your Grandparent. No close relationships or friendships until they die.

Find a star and name it

Master Logic and Advanced Technology skills

Own a Hoverboard, Dream Pod, Food Synthesizer, Holo Disc, and Jet Pack

Join the Astronomy career and go into the Space Explorer branch

Travel to Simulon V

Never marry because space is your one true love

Neglect your own children but still be friends with them. (no teaching of skills, not caring about hw, etc)

Get abducted by aliens and have an alien child

⚽ Generation 4: Grey

You always enjoyed playing sports and being in the great outdoors, contrary to what your family is interested in. You dream of becoming a professional athlete but you’ve always felt second place to your parent’s obsessions growing up and didn’t want the same for your children. You want to be there for your kiddos as much as possible. So while you’re hanging out with your family, you find music is something that brings you closer together.

Traits: Athletic, Virtuoso , Nurturing, Loves the Outdoors, Technophobe

Lifetime Wish: Superstar Athlete

Career: Professional Sports

Objectives:

Be in the Scouts as a child

Reach Level 10 of Sports career

Master the Athletic skill and a Musical Instrument

Teach all your children the xylophone

Be best friends with all your children

Have 3 failed relationships before finding the one.

Do outdoor activities with your family (going to the park, beach, camping, etc)

Jam out with your family (once the kids get older) on your instrument of choice

Celebrate the seasons together:

Go to seasonal festivals, host seasonal parties, and decorate the home for family fun.

🎤 Generation 5: Plum

Everyone has always told you how talented you are. You’ve always been naturally good at everything to the point that nothing ever challenges you. This causes you to search for something that will. You tried different careers and learned some new skills, heck, you even tried being a Doctor. But one day at a karaoke bar, you sanged your heart out and realized that you love music and wish to become a singer. Is it too late to pursue your dream in your adulthood? Let’s find out!

Traits: Daredevil, Diva, Lucky, Commitment Issues, Natural Born Performer

Lifetime Wish: Jack of all Trades

Career: Multiple jobs, Medical, Singer

Objectives:

Make straight A’s as a child and teen

Pick 3 different jobs before deciding on the Medical career

Quit the medical career as an adult to pursue your dream as a Singer

Master 3 skills, one of them has to be a musical instrument.

Complete all of your midlife crisis wishes

Get divorced and then remarry the same sim

Move to 3 different worlds in your lifetime

Reach at least celebrity level 3 as a Singer

Perform at a big private venue

🖕 Generation 6: Orange

Growing up, homelife was competitive and hectic. You never had stability with your parent’s constant hedonistic whims affecting your life. You also didn’t reach academic success like your siblings who always outperformed you in everything, making you feel like a loser in your own family. But while your siblings were doing their thing, you were doing yours. Stealing. The joy of taking something without getting caught is like adrenaline in your veins and you want more. You also want to learn more about cooking as it calms you down.

Traits: Loser, Natural Cook, Evil, Kleptomaniac, Hot-Headed

Lifetime Wish: Become a Master Thief

Career: Criminal (Thief branch)

Objectives:

Reach level 10 of the Criminal career in the Thief branch

Master the Cooking skill

Steal from your neighbors and other townsfolk

Marry a fellow criminal or someone with the Evil trait.

Only have twins for children

Cook your favorite food + everybody in the household as well.

Learn 28 recipes/Menu Maven challenge

Live in a fixer upper home/apartment in YA years

In Adult years, live in a house you can’t afford and purchase weird expensive items for aesthetic

📖 Generation 7: Pink

You grew up watching your parents be irresponsible with their finances and let you have a little too much freedom in raising yourself. This causes you to become a very practical individual who believes in the steady 9-5 corporate hustle. Your twin on the other hand, dreams of becoming a big time Director in Bridgeport and you can’t help your envy as you also have a secret dream of becoming a best selling romance writer. As you see your twin succeed in their dream, maybe you too can try to pursue your dreams. Maybe you too can find the love you’ve always dreamed about.

Traits: Frugal, Unflirty, Bookworm, Hopeless Romantic, Neurotic

Lifetime Wish: Professional Author

Career: Business, Self-employed Writer

Objectives:

Master the Writing skill

Live with your twin while they reach the Director branch of the Film career

🕵️ Generation 8: Peach

As a child, you loved the stories your parents read to you about dashing knights, charming adventurers,and mysteries to be solved by the world’s greatest minds. You’ve always wanted to become a detective but you also have a thirst for adventure. Why not both?! You work primarily as a detective by solving cases and investigating clues but when you get that itch to explore, you catch a plane to your next destination and meet the locals who will tell you their stories.

Career: Private Investigator

That’s why it’s such a shock to some that you decided to major in Technology and become a Game Developer. You’re a hard worker who wants to develop amazing games but will party to the break of dawn with no regrets.

Actually… alot. You find yourself dissatisfied with your present circumstances and your eyes have begun to wander onto things you shouldn’t but want to have. As you begin to question and explore your new found cravings, a one time affair produces a bundle of joy and now everything you hold close to your heart is now in jeopardy of breaking apart at the seams.

💛 Luke as Your Boyfriend 💛

Luke is easy-going when it comes to making plans. Whatever you want, he will happily oblige. Want to see a movie?Bowling? Aquarium? Whatever makes you happy!

Luke has mastered the death glare when someone looks at you the wrong way. He doesn't want to make a scene in public places, but if someone looks at you with a lascivious or scornful eye? His arm goes around your waist, he will pull you tight, he will gush over you and dote on you in a manner that seems very natural... but the glare he gives those scum? Icy enough to chill your bones, sharper than the cruelest knife.

He loves trying new things with you. He doesn't know how much time he has left, so he wants to give you every possible experience and memory that he can. (Plus he just loves challenging himself! Bring on the recipe! The resin crafts! The Renaissance fair!)

Luke simultaneously will chide you if you don't finish your meal and then devour your leftovers. Luke, do you want me to clean my plate or not??

Sometimes needs to be reined in. While in public he keeps a low profile, if you get catcalled on the street or in a more private place (e.g. parking lot, small store)? He has dislocated a few shoulders and caused his fair share of bruises and scrapes. A fired-up Luke will listen to you. But if he dips into Raven mode? Then you have to be proactive and physically stop him. Sometimes you have to grab and pull at his hand or arm, but sometimes a simple touch on the shoulder will do. He needs you to ground him.

Luke's love language is 100% acts of service. He's also big on physical touch (let's be real, our tough secret agent is so lonely & touch-starved), but when he can do something to make you smile? That's worth more than gold to him.

When he wakes up from nightmares, he seeks you out. He wants to feel safe and secure, and holding you (or if you're lucky, he'll let you be the big spoon) helps calm him down. He likes to hear your heartbeat when he's stressed out. (If you aren't living together yet, he will probably call you... or listen to a recording of your voice. You know he has several.)

Luke can be overbearing. It's a combination of alpha male complex (thanks, NSB) and worrying about anything happening to you. You sometimes have to stand your ground and set boundaries. "If I need help, I will ask. I promise I can handle taking a pan out of the oven, Luke!"

Luke may or may not have bitten a guy once. He doesn't want to talk about it.

Like a bunch of others have said, I have been nervous about making a simblr gratitude post because I'll almost certainly leave someone out, and that hurts. I guess I'll start with the disclaimer:

I read everyone I follow. I can't read every post, but I don't keep anyone on my dash who I haven't made a conscious decision to put there. If you've seen a like or a comment from me, I'm reading you, and I'm doing it because I like what you post.

And I appreciate a lot of simblrs I don't follow too. I've had to choose not to follow several who I'd like to follow, simply because of the above -- I read the folks I follow, and I can't let my follow list get too big for me to handle.

I also have a long list of story tags I follow specifically for stories that have a chronology that matters. I use XKit Rewritten on my browser to keep a list of unread posts by tag so that I don't miss posts from long-running stories.

OK, that said, and in no particular order...

@anamoon63 I have enjoyed the heck out of Alan Wilson's wild life. You're one of the reasons I'm poking at TS4 now. I also have gotten attached to Dale Cho and Kelly. They have so much personality.

@treason-and-plot I was intimidated by the complexity of your story for quite a while before I really started to dig in, but I couldn't stay away. You have so many characters! And so many plot threads! And they all weave together into a tangle of personalities that feel all too real.

@kimmiessimmies I'm still just getting to know your characters, but they're so vivid. As I've said in the comments, I really appreciate that Sadie and her entourage are mostly emotionally mature people who are working through their problems in reasonable ways. Characters don't have to be shallow or dumb to find themselves in drama, but it's a challenge to write mature ones.

@bearphase I got sucked in by Clem. Orange has got to be one of, if not the most challenging NSB generation, and you aced it. I've been invested ever since.

@rebouks You sucked a character all the way to rock bottom, and then he climbed out with hope and integrity and took everyone nearby out with him. I'm still not sure how you made such a dark story so warm and friendly.

@zosa95 I always smile when your characters show up on my dash. You're a warm presence in the community and a good storyteller. And your screenshots somehow manage to be extra endearing.

@greenplumbboblover I've never seen someone try to tell a soap opera of all of Sunset Valley. I'm getting a fresh look at characters who almost never get the spotlight. It's so much fun.

@mosneakers What can I say? I'd snatch Coraleye away from her boy if I had a chance.

@danjaley I can only imagine the kind of work that goes into the McCarrics. Reading their story makes me feel like a fly on the wall of real moments of a Scottish landed farmer's life. I've also snatched up a lot of your cc for my own projects.

@declaration-of-dramas You have such a beautifully staged historical setting, and your characters are so wild. I miss Lady Prilly, but this new story you're telling in San Pineda has already caught me.

@natolesims Your NSB has so much personality. Grey is a lot of fun. I hope we'll see Tiana soon. Ella's story really gripped me, and Tiana's was shaping up to be just as intense. Plus, your Disney simalikes are spot on.

@oasislandingresident You're a big reason why I discovered I like longer lifespans! I fell into the all-to-common trap of assuming everything had to be generational. You can discover very different stories when you give sims more space to live.

@pudding-parade You make some of the prettiest sims I have ever seen. I've downloaded about half a dozen worlds from your world reviews, and I'm not even sure what I'm going to do with them.

@queeniecook I can't wait to meet Vera and Caleb's baby. You've got us all in suspense. Your story is such a fun combination of adventure, intrigue, and domesticity. Also, so many pregnancy photo shoots. 😆

@nocturnalazure Last on this list but not least, I think your story is the first one I found on tumblr that I became a passionate fan of. I honestly think in another universe it would be a great TV adventure drama. I jump whenever I see something new on the tteot tag. Thanks for the story.

NSB (Straud Legacy) Gen 9 Ep 39: A Magical Wedding

Before they could get to their own “happily ever after” Hunter and Tess were attending Denton and Bridget’s wedding as an official couple.

The same strong family connections that let Denton secure the coveted magic realm entry park as his event venue had also forced him to invite his least favorite cousin. Hunter was on his best behavior, and Tess had promised to ensure that her boyfriend didn’t cause a scene or leave a mess.

That morning Tess had woken from a lovely dream of walking down the aisle herself. She wasn’t quite ready to get married, but she would be taking a first step by telling Toni and Manny she was dating their son. The couple planned to finally spill the beans at the wedding reception later that day.

Luigi was still between partners romantically, but he’d found a great “plus 1” in his old friend Bonnie.

Her landlady had just accepted his application to rent a room in the boarding house where she lived, and he wanted to know all about his other soon to be roommates.

Bonnie had plenty of time to get him caught up on the latest gossip as they waited for the guests to find their seats and settle down.

When it was time Luigi rose and kicked things off with the obligatory Sim of Honor march down the aisle.

As he made his way to the altar, he couldn’t help but consider his own future plans. Right now school was his top priority, but sooner or later he’d need to find some kind and loving sim who would help him create and raise his heir, without expecting him to sacrifice his professional goals.

Given his situation he only wished he felt as sure about that future child as he did about his hypothetical spouse. Love was exciting, a reward all on its own, but parenthood was a big, scary responsibility he wasn’t sure when he’d feel ready to pursue.

The couple of the hour followed close behind Luigi, smiling and waving at the assembled guests. Bridget’s “issues” had kept her from securing a Sim of Honor herself, which had given Denton some flickers of doubt about their marriage. He pushed those reservations firmly aside now that the moment had arrived, and they stood ready to exchange their vows before his whole family under the beautiful moon drenched wedding arch.

He looked into the eyes of the gorgeous girl standing before him, who was working so hard to tame the uncalled-for outbursts of mean behavior she attributed to her evil nature. Sure, Bridget had her problems, but didn’t everyone? He spoke his vows boldly and smiled lovingly as she did the same.

As he hugged his new wife tight, he assured himself that with time and patience they’d build their happily ever after.

I HATE THIS GAME

i missed my nsb save so i went in game and.....

As you all know i was overwhelmed by the household, with the parents, brothers and etc. I needed change so i moved out the twins when they became teens

I put them in a house with other teens, turn on neighborhood stories so the family would do their own thing......

I literally not even ENTER THE HOUSE the twims received a call that said BOTH THEIR PARENTS DIED

JADE IS DEAD

QUENTIN IS DEAD

Sammy and Luca got adopted by random households

I wanted to YELL at my screen

I took a deep breath, and thought i could just exit without save. But i remembered I did a bunch of things with the sims and didn't wanted to do it again. Then i decided:

If the game wanna cause drama, i will accept the drama

So now i have a house full of teens, plus a child and a toddler because obviously i wouldn't let my babies with strangers. They are with us now

I will probably have to move out them AGAIN cuz samuel is sharing bed with his siblings and poor luca is in a sleeping bag

Sims Tagged Meme

No one tagged me, but I thought it'd be fun to do anyway! :>

1. What’s your favorite sims death? In the Sims 3, my favorite death has to be the meteor shower death (poor @faeriefrolic's Madeline cannot catch a break with that one xP) and in the Sims Medieval, my favorite one has to be the Pit Monster one!

2. Alpha CC or Maxis Match? Maxis Match all the way, there's just something about MM that makes it so appealing. It's so bright and colourful and I love it so much :> (Maybe alpha is just sorta...creepy to me idk?)

3. Do you cheat when your sims gain weight? Nope, I don't! I love body diversity in my game, however I used to when I used to play the Sims 4! But now, I don't mind any and all body shapes :D

4. Do you use move objects? I do, but only for decor items so it looks like the space is lived in. Though, one time I did use move objects on a computer and my sim used it as a table to eat her sandwich on.

5. Favorite mod? Definitely NRAAS and the Randomizer mod. NRAAS is a must to keep the game running and I like the well, randomness of the Randomizer mod!

6. First expansion/game/stuff pack you got? I first got into the Sims when I was given the Sims 2 by my grandmother. I think my first pack I got was Pets, but I honestly don't remember... it was a while ago lol

7. Do you pronounce “live mode” like aLIVE or LIVing? I pronounce it as aLIVE.

8. Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made? For me, my favorite sims that I've made are actually based upon two OCs that I have - Connor and Leon. They're my babies and I'll love them forever! Plus, I like how Leon's voice sounds as a simbot! If we're talking regular sims though, I have two. One is from my 'N Cheese legacy back in the Sims 4, her name was Blueberry 'N Cheese (I have her as my origin profile!). The other one is Linden, who I sadly had to retire for now as I've been away for several months. Maybe one day I'll return to his save but for right now I don't want to do any challenges.

9. Have you made a simself? I did once and they promptly died to a vending machine. But like, mood.

10. What sim traits did you give yourself? Dog person, Night Owl, Computer Whiz, Childish, and Family-Orientated.

11. What is your favorite EA hair color? Probably the blonde preset, but other than that one, I just don't like any of them sadly - I prefer the custom ones that I make.

12. Favorite EA hair? Idk why but I really love that Victorian era one that has a big hat. I actually used to have it as CC when I played the Sims 4 so you can imagine my surprise when I realized it was actually from the Sims 3.

13. Favorite life stage? Young adults and elders!

17. What’s your favorite game? TS3! Ever since I've re-visited it, it's one of my favorite Sims games! It's a tie between 3 and Medieval, honestly.

18. Do you have any Sims merch? Uhhh, I had like one Sims-related sticker on my old laptop but I don't know if I'd be able to peel it off without wrecking it.

19. Do you have a YouTube for sims? I used to, but I got really self-conscious of my voice so I don't anymore.

20. How has your “sim style” changed throughout your years of playing? I was very minimal at first, as people usually are when you first play a game. Then I got into NSB challenges, and I loved the wild hair colors that you could put your sim in! (I got up to the yellow gen in the Sims 4). Now, I'm a mix between banilla and berry sims.

22. Who’s your favorite CC creator? Oh shit, uhhh I love a whole bunch of 'em! I love @chazybazzy, @poisonfireleafs for hairs. I love @sweetdevil-sims and I recently discovered @teekapoka's stuff too! (idk why it didn't link but oh well.) Also the lovely @lazyduchess for their smooth patch!

23. How long have you had a simblr? I honestly don't remember, maybe 2016-ish? It was mainly Sims 4 and I abandoned that one sooo uh...yeah.

24. How do you edit your pictures? I don't edit my pictures at all bc I don't have the patience for Photoshop and my game can't handle reshade sometimes.

25. What expansion/game/stuff pack is your favorite so far? I love Ambitions and University Life! The Ghostbuster career is one of my favorites and I get excited whenever I hear the ghost sound cue.

I decided I wanted to make a version of the NSB Challenge, focusing on the different professions in TS3. I was inspired by the TS4/TS3 challenges created by @lilsimsie and @alwaysimming. I have been working on this for the past few weeks, so I hope you enjoy it. Some basic rules; -Each heir represents the color of the generation (ex: hair, clothes, house/objects, etc.) -Money cheats not allowed (unless NEEDED) -Live wherever you want :)

Generation 1: Teal

You’re a family-oriented, social butterfly with a love for kids. You’re kind of a kid-whisperer. You’ve always dreamt of having a big family of your own. You also have a love for bowling and cooking.

Fishing, scuba-diving, sailing- these are all the things you wanted! Plus, you’ve always wanted your own private aquarium.

This fame HAD to give you the upper hand!

Generation 5: Coral

Being around different makeup artists and designers from your parent’s concerts, made you have a deep appreciation for their skills. You admired them so much you wanted to be just like them! Watching your parent in different costumes on stage made you love the art of design. You also love music itself, but what you love doing most is refining your bass skills. Why you chose that instrument, I don’t know. Unlike your parents, you go out of your way to spend more time with your family. You love holding family gatherings and hosting dinner parties.

You love playing video games and reading comics- but that never gets in your way of what you love- your job does get in the way of finding love though. Doesn’t help that you’re unflirty.

Generation 7: Tan

You wanted things to be solved, with a clear-cut explication. You wanted a reason for everything. That’s why you joined the force. But this wasn’t enough for you. You wanted to do the work yourself, so you quit your job and become an Investigator. Why couldn’t they find this guy? Why wasn’t he tried? Did he pay the guy off? YOU WANTED ANSWERS DAMN IT! All these thoughts flowing in and out of your head, night and day, made it hard to sleep at times. Did I mention you write murder mystery books?

Generation 8: Indigo

Listening to your parents talk about the different cases made you stressed out, so you turn to the world of magic to escape. You adored the ‘science’ behind this magical art form, and you’ve always strived to know every trick in the book, and learn the daring stunts, but it never really works out the way you want it because of how clumsy you are- but that never stopped you.

Goals: -Complete Magician Profession -Complete Lifetime Wish -Reach level 5 of a skill of your choosing -Marry your first love, then get divorced after having a child -Get remarried to a sim with the clumsy trait, and have 2 more kids and have one of those kids be the next heir

Generation 9: White

Having two clumsy parents made you the genetic example of two wrongs equal a right- so you have impeccable balance. You took advantage of this and became an excellent dancer as a kid, up until high school. As time went on you realized that your real genetic fortune came in the form of great flexibility- so you decided on becoming an acrobat! You’re smart and know what you’re doing, but not when it comes to love. Interacting with people in general is one of your greatest weaknesses.

You craft and drink the elixirs, you catch the bugs, and hunt for gems- you even become a ghost hunter!

Obsessed with the Sims 4 Not-So Berry challenge? Love the concept, but tired of playing it over & over again; Wish it was more storyline-driven? Say no more, for I have a solution; My own version of the NSB challenge that I started writing back in May of 2022:

The basic rules for the NSB challenge are simple: Each Generation is based on a specific color, & must have that hair color, or at least as close as you can get to it (MY FELLOW CONSOLE SIMMERS, SNOWY ESCAPE HAS GREAT HAIRS FOR THIS!). Each generation has a unique set of rules, including, but not limited to: Their Aspiration(s), traits, & career(s). The original challenge was written by @lilsimsie 5-6yrs ago.

*there may be multiple aspirations listed, only the first is required, the 2nd is to switch it to after you finish the first, but you don't need to complete it

Gen 1: Rose (Dusty Rose/Pastel Pink)

You grew up in the simple farming life in Henford-on-Bagley. As an orphan, you never knew your own parents, but after the orphanage kicked you out at the age of 18, you start a cozy farm where you raise crops & animals as if they were your children until you had your own *human* children. You've always known that you'd love your own child more than anything, & try your best to give them the best life you can while managing your farm.

To you, Windenberg is the best of both worlds.

You & your parents always argue about how you dream of leaving Windenberg to go off to college. You know they love you, but you also know your thirst for knowledge & new experiences just can't be ignored. So you run off to college, & move to San Myshuno. Your relationship with [gen 2] is permanently damaged, & while you may mend your relationship eventually, it will never be the same. Romance was never a priority, you never really thought about it. You've always been way too focused on your family, education & career, so you never marry (plus, you've never really been that interested in relationships anyway, which is perfectly fine!).

Ever since you were a child, you would look up at all the fancy high-rise buildings, & the locally-famous Uptown San Myshuno, dreaming about one day being one of those successful, wealthy residents. Like your parent, you have a lust for new experiences & culture, & none is as unique & diverse as San Myshuno! Especially when it comes to food! Growing up in the Spice Market, you fell in love with food, & have quite the knack for the culinary arts. You are always on the look-out for new recipes. You've only ever had 1 parental figure, & they never married, so you never really saw a lot of PDA. It's really unusual to you, & makes you a little uncomfortable. I mean, people just,,, put their lips together?? For pleasure??? Kinda weird if you really think about it, not gonna lie. Regardless, you find yourself a partner & stay together for the rest of your lives, happily growing old together. You love your city, & what better way to protect it & show your appreciation than become a Politician?

You were raised by one of San Myshuno's elites, a born-&-raised Myshunan! While your parent's intentions were always good, everyone has their enemies. Not even just from your parent's haters, there was crime everywhere! It's inevitable in such a big city. Everyone tried to hide it from all the children, but no one could hide it from you. You train hard to become a Detective when you grow up. In high school, you make an enchanting frenemy, your academic rival of sorts. You fall in love & get married straight out of high school. You have twins, & wanting to protect your family, get up & move to the suburbs. Not only is work hard to manage, but with raising two kids who are total opposites at the same time, plus the frequent marital squabbles, which is expected when your life is an enemies-to-lovers fanfiction. Needless to say, it’s stressful, & when your workaholic-ass finally gets home, all you can do is try to hold onto your sanity for dear life. But it’s all worth it when you get home & can relax by baking, a coping mechanism learned from [gen 4], & other creative activities. Your kitchen permanently smells like freshly-baked cookies.

Must move from San Myshuno to any world perceived as “Suburban” (ex: Copperdale, San Sequoia, Newcrest, etc.)

Gen 6: Gold/Yellow

Your family is from the fabulous, busy city of San Myshuno! But unfortunately your lame parents decided to steal you away from it & instead move you to Nowheresville. They’re fine & all, but, like, not really, y’know? This suburban slice-of-life way of living just isn’t enough for you! Your parents could never balance their attention between work, & your & your sibling(s), & each other, so you always felt like you got the short-end of the stick. As a result, you crave the World’s attention (Daddy Issues much?*)! What better way to get that attention than to become a World-Wide Celebrity! You’ve always had a taste for the dramatic. Your creativity was never encouraged in your youth, so you throw yourself into your life’s work just like [gen 5] (*You can say that again). Of course, you never go anywhere without your other half, your mischievous twin. They might stress you out from time to time, but you might as well be bound at the hip. As long as they don’t cause too much trouble, right?

You learn to accept the change as you become a Young Adult & completely go back to your usual self. The generational creativity certainly didn’t skip you, for your love for music & your natural talent is blatantly apparent. Any party guests can hear the instruments being gracefully played from The Other Side of the Door of your bedroom. You take any & every chance to take up a new instrument, until there aren’t any more to master! While [gen 7] focused more on painting & such, you’d always find your nose stuck in one of their novels they wrote as a hobby in their emo days. Novels of romance & fantasy, occult & spectacular sights. Thoughts like these consume your Teenage Mind. One day your dreams came true, as you met a Vampire, the Edward to your Bella. You fell in love & promised to run away together as soon as you graduated. Your Highschool Sweetheart teaches you about fantastical abilities & Wonderland -like secret worlds you only saw in your Wildest Dreams. You don't really fit in, but honestly, you're glad. I mean, wasn't it Spiderman who said "with great power comes great responsibility"? I mean, you have 1 human-born musician parent who's working to become a talented spellcaster, shooting off spells all over the place & another vampire parent trying to train vampire children. So there's always spells being thrown around, sometimes starting fires, yelling & criticism, kids trying to fly through the house, & stubbing toes on all sorts of instruments just lying around. To be honest, as much as you love your family, & how close & special they all are, it *is* pretty overwhelming. Luckily, you used meditation as a way of coping through the chaos. Speaking of overwhelming things, you grew up in a pretty isolated area. Your life motto is "don't talk to strangers." So when you get older, you take a trip to the peaceful Mt. Komorebi, & fall in love. The serenity, the snow, & most importantly, the solitude. So, after your trip, you pack your bags! You continue to develop your yoga skills, but also develop an interest in snow sports! You're just in love with mountain climbing! Just another reason why you love Mt. Komorebi so much. You enjoy your alone time for as long as you want, then take in a single child as an adult, adopting them. You guys sorta just,,,found each other?? Whatever, you guys are more like bros than parent-&-child. Like &i & Bex from the late 2010s Disney channel show "&i Mack" (iconic). You chill out together, go down the bunny slopes, & while it's not really your area of expertise, you teach them to ski & snowboard as best you can, & they seem to love it, so you must be doing something right. You learn from the culture around you, & practice healthy habits, like clean vegetarianism & meditation, inspired by your relaxing environment. Oh, & you think Simmis are really, REALLY cute.

You grew up sort of bouncing around between boring blue suburbans, collecting post cards from all of your foster homes, until you somehow l&ed in the clutches of your best friend, your adoptive parent who lives in Mt. Komorebi. It's awesome! They teach you about meditation & stuff, but most importantly, they teach you to ski & snowboard, your passion! Sure, they might just know the basics of it all, but after they introduce you to the snow sports, you become obsessed & throw your heart & soul into it. You learn the local mannerisms & expectations, & they immediately grow on you. You're super friendly & outgoing (mostly from the isolation [Gen 9] enjoys so much, so you're constantly on the lookout for some outside socialization), but you would cut someone's foot off if they entered your home w/ shoes on. Are they trying to dirty your brand new rugs?? If you want some protection for your bare feet, but on a slipper, you just got that carpet at the San Myshuno flea market, after all. The audacity. Besides that, though, you're really chill. I mean, how can you be so pressed when you're the kid of a total Zen guru? Even if you think they're a little quirky at times, they still taught you everything you know, & you love them for it. You want to become the reigning Monarch of snow sports.
