CONGRATULATIONS ON HITTING TWO HUNDRED EVIE!! for the mind palace thingy, can I have any One Piece oc of your choice + 8?? also feel free to ramble about that even as much (or as little) you like!! remind me to think of a nickname for you and congratulations again on hitting the milestone!! -🍂
It's finally done!!! I'm so sorry, this took ages. I was battling executive dysfunction and had to write an essay for university. But I promise, the wait is worth it. Or at least I hope it is ^^"
So, the canon event I picked... isn't... actually... canon. It's the final battle of Film Gold! Why...? Uh... leather. Yeah, that’s... That's actually it. Look at the Straw Hats' outfits, they look so freaking cool! And occasionally hot
So, without further ado...

Base is still by by Hevis-Swan
Behold! Fashion! If you know the reason for the final battle, you also know why Cora has to show up with maximum slay. It was a real challenge to figure out a way to make the outfit both fit the leather theme and make it still feel like Cora, because she's generally more the type for softer, flowier outfits. But she's also the type for fashion, and you can't tell me that she wouldn't jump at the opportunity to go full-on leather and fishnets and a good amount of sex appeal. If the latter doesn't work on her enemy, it still definitely works on Sanji and Zoro, which means more protection for her, because they would not let anyone hurt her.
Look below the cut for Zoro and Sanji's outfits for reference and to see what's below Cora's jacket and half skirt (it's spicy). If you want, I'll also write some ramblings on the scene(s) that this outfit is for! Just let me know :)

Evie's One Piece OC Compendium
SO @eustasskidsfattits asked me to make a post about my One Piece OCs, so here it is! I wanted to make this way sooner, but then stuff happened and then I got to show one of my friends OPLA and 8 OCs turned to 9 (oopsies...). Also, the perfectionist in me would not shut up. Yes, this is technically the intro for the three newest ones, so buckle up!
I'm gonna list them in the order that I created them, simply because listing them in the order of their appearance in the story would be fairly impossible with how OPLA likes to introduce characters earlier on lol - These OCs also all exist in their own separate universes, by the way...
So yeah, long post incoming and, for any OPLA-onlies reading this post: Spoiler warning!!!
Not proofread because I just wanna finally get this post out and I am lacking energy
Tumblr media
The Guardian: Aether S. Luna
Tumblr media
The original One Piece OC and also the one who has gone through the most changes. I revamped her only recently!
Luna is convinced that she's the daughter of the moon goddess aka of Mother Moon herself, and there are some very odd things about her that make that very plausible. She looks like how you would imagine the daughter of the moon to look like, with very pale skin and very light blonde hair, she has magical powers that are charged by basking in the moonlight, she needs very little sleep as long as the moon is out, her strength is based on the moon cycle... Oh, also: Wings. Large, white wings, that don't fit in with any other humanoid creature in the world. So, nobody really has any solid evidence against it either. Well... Nobody who hasn't been to Egghead Island.
She's introduced into the story at Long Ring Long Land (I actually have two fics for that) as a part of Foxy's crew because he won her in a Davy Back Fight. Before that, she was sort of aimlessly travelling the seas with various crews, just trying to find a place to belong. Throughout the Davy Back Fight, Luna ends up befriending the Straw Hats and Luffy, being Luffy, of course won't pass up the opportunity to have someone as weird as her on their crew, so she joins!
Sanji is, of course, very enamoured with this literal goddess. Even more so than usual. Luckily for him, his charm seems to be working on Luna too. She essentially goes from "Oh, you're adorable. You're funny." to "Oh. Oh no. That's the love of my life, isn't it?", at the very latest when she sees Sanji after he absolutely decimates the people on the Sea Train.
I can't really talk too much about her because a lot of my ideas for her are very visual, but I guess I could give some more little facts? First of all, Luna is 18 and her blood group is S. You can take a look at my animanga character sketches for her here and here if you want! Her wings haven't grown to their full size yet pre-timeskip, and she molts like a bird as she grows, so whenever that happens, she's essentially grounded and chronically exhausted. And that happens around the time of Sabaody. Perfect timing, right? Also, she has to preen her wings, especially after battles, and her crewmates keep around her feathers either for practical or sentimental reasons. And in case you were wondering, of course she heads to Whole Cake Island to go after her boyfriend. Big Mom takes an interest in her, Judge wants to steal her lineage factor, it's a very fun time for everyone involved.
Tumblr media
The Sweet Tooth: Charlotte Inari
Tumblr media
Ah yes, sweet little Inari. Inari is Pudding's twin sister, she's also a member of the Three-Eyed Tribe and she's named after inari-zushi (if you were wondering how she fits into the Charlotte Family naming scheme). She ate the Kami Kami no Mi, Model: Shikigami, which has a very complicated way to how it works, but, essentially, it binds her to a master whose orders she has to follow and, in turn, gets special abilities from based on her master's. That master is the person who last saved her life. The problem with that situation is that she got the devil fruit when she was still very young and travelling at sea with one of her siblings, and a sea battle ensued where chaos happened and she got herself kidnapped. So, she ends up being passed around from master to master for years until finally ending up with Enel. That is, until Luffy defeats him, and she joins the Straw Hats.
Inari, being that she spent her early formative years on Totto Land, has some very interesting ideas of what's considered normal for animals, plant life, people... for everything, really. She fights with two war fans (as well as her devil fruit, of course) and knows how to play the shamisen, both of which she picked up while travelling with a crew of Wano ancestry for a while. Also, she naturally has a huge sweet tooth and loves to make sweets too. It runs in her genes.
Inari's goal while travelling with the Straw Hats at first is to get back home. She's just a kid, she wants to go home, at least to let her family know that she's okay. And her family and her friends will totally get along, right??? That's also why she doesn't fully consider herself part of the Straw Hats for the longest time. She's a member of the Big Mom Pirates, simply by birth right. However, this all gets a bit thrown on its head with the Timeskip and everything after that. Because, during the timeskip, Kuma sends her to Totto Land, and she officially joins the Big Mom Pirates. So, she has everything she has ever wanted, right? Well... She still ends up coming back. She loves her friends too much not to go back to them. And then Luffy ends up starting a war with Big Mom, which is... not ideal? Whole Cake Island is especially fun. And Wano? Oh boy!
Also... remember the special ability of the Three-Eyed Tribe? Yeah. Inari awakens her third eye when she hears the Drums of Liberation, but nobody notices and she doesn't tell anybody until the battle is long over, and even then she only tells Sanji and Robin.
Tumblr media
The Tailor: Akaito Coraline
Tumblr media
My dear, sweet Cora... We're entering the live action era now! Aka when everything started to escalate and I started drowning in OCs. I freaking love the live action, man... Maybe a little too much.
Anyways, Cora! Cora is the last living member of the Akaito Clan, a tailoring family from the North Blue of world-class fame who was eradicated by Germa 66 when they didn't want to work for their evil plans. Their main identifier is a sewing needle pierced through the left ear, and they can tell a person's measurements just by looking at them. Of course, there are many imposters around because Akaito-made clothes sell for a fortune, but they usually fail at these criteria. Cora was only a baby when the attack from Germa happened, so she doesn't remember anything from that day or about her family, except for her mother, who was selected as the sole adult survivor of the massacre, because she had Cora, and Judge had plans for Cora. Little did Judge know that her mother also had plans for Cora, and that she had given the baby the Akaito Clan's most prized possession: The Sew Sew Fruit (Chiku Chiku no Mi), which gives its user mastery over the entire clothesmaking process and its tools and materials.
I don't want to get too much into Cora's backstory here, but she befriended Sanji and thought that he had died, and then her mother died, she helped create and designed the Raid Suits and then she ran away with the help of Reiju at 16 years old. Afterwards, she rose to considerable fame as a tailor in the East Blue, until finally stumbling across Sanji at Baratie, the same day that the Straw Hats also show up there. Shenanigans ensue.
I think, if I were going to describe Cora's personality in only three aspects, it's trauma, kindness, and a huge double crush that she doesn't like to admit. Because not only is she wholly unprepared for Sanji being not only alive but also a pretty and charming young man, there's also a swordsman who she has to stitch back together after a big fight and who she ends up falling head over heels for. The two boys constantly bickering doesn't help much either, and they also bicker over her, constantly trying to out-boyfriend each other. In case you were wondering whose side Cora usually takes in these fights, the answer is: She joins in on the side of entertainment. Whichever side would yield the funnier result. She just thinks their fights are way too funny and stupid. Also, she's constantly touch-starved and also scared of touch. And sleep-deprived. She gets better in the "scared of touch" category over the course of her journey with the Straw Hats, so... Sleepy cuddles. So many sleepy cuddles. If Zoro's taking a nap, she's taking a nap too, no buts. And Sanji eventually ends up with his arm around her waist 90% of the time. His personal space is also her personal space.
So, uh, fighting style! She uses a rapier and keeps explaining to people that, no, she's not a swordsman, she's a fencer. There's a difference. Also, she uses strings a lot, and plagiarizes Doffy's travelling method after Dressrosa. The thing with strings and dyes and whatnot is a whole new can of worms that I won't get into right now but it's super cool.
One more fun fact: Cora is short. She's tiny. And she wears heels to compensate, which Zoro hates because they're not practical at all. Her entire fashion sense gives him minor aggressions, partially because a lot of her clothes are a lot more fashion than function, partially because she looks too damn gorgeous in them and he's constantly reminded of his embarrassing crush and has gotten so distracted by her that he has walked into tables and doorframes multiple times. Sanji, on the other hand, fully supports her fashion choices. Maybe show a little more skin next time..? Pretty please? I have concept art for her and one of the more distracting outfits :)
Tumblr media
The Scout: "Desert Fox" Felicity
Tumblr media
The baby of the crew. Yeah, she's younger than Chopper. Inari is already young, being 14, but Lily? Lily is twelve. Absolute baby. How did she end up with the Straw Hats? Blame it on Buggy kidnapping her and then kidnapping the Straw Hats on top, letting them bust her out with them. Nami and Zoro pretty much become her caretakers on the spot, Nami consciously and Zoro... well... Turns out he has a bit of a soft spot for little scared kids with fox ears. They bring her back home to her "sister" Kaya at Syrup Village, but then she almost gets murdered by a killer butler, and Kaya asks them to take Lily with them, so... Well, she's with them now! Only about a few days later though, one of her caretakers gets himself almost killed and the other decides to abandon the crew. Good thing that Sanji has pretty much decided to adopt her, because otherwise she'd be crying her eyes out.
Lily is actually half mink! That's where she got her fennec fox features and some of her behavioural patterns (i.e. cuddliness, switching between napping and getting the zoomies...) from. But her behaviour could just as well be caused by her devil fruit, because she ate the Jōi Jōi no Mi, which gives her emotions magical properties. Which ones? No one knows! You'll find out when it happens. Pretty much the only really predictable effect back when Lily joins the crew is that she turns back into a nonverbal five-year-old when she gets too scared. She also has a pretty good success rate of turning into a more anthropomorphic fox creature when getting into the spirit for a battle. She's a mink after all, and minks are born fighters! And in case you're wondering: Yes, she does have electro! And sharp teeth. You do not want to make her upset. Best case scenario is that she bites you, worst case is either some magical shenanigans or she starts crying and her crewmates come to kick your ass.
I haven't developed her too much beyond the first season of OPLA, but I just know that she has to go absolutely feral at Alabasta, because that's a fennec fox's natural habitat and her epithet is "Desert Fox", so it only makes sense for her to get it at Alabasta. Also, it would be peak funny for Crocodile to complain to the Marines about a literal child messing up his plans, and peak funny is also peak One Piece, so you best believe I'll do it. Also, her being this young means I get to watch her grow up over the timeskip. I imagine she maybe gets sent to Zou and starts to really master her electro and devil fruit attacks? Something along the lines of "I'm all grown up now! I have my powers under control!" and then immediately turning back into a kindergartener in the face of danger would probably be her running gag post-TS. Also, I'm so soft for her relationship with Sanji. I could go on for ages about Whole Cake Island, but I'll leave it at that for now. This post is already getting long enough...
Tumblr media
The Matron: Dracule Aurelia
Tumblr media
Oh boy, you're not ready for her. She's the daughter of Rayleigh and Shakky. Trans queen (thanks, Iva). Raised as a Kuja, got love sickness just like her mother and fell for a red-headed idiot first, then for a certain swordsman. Ended up marrying the swordsman in the most dramatic way possible. Also maybe the second most beautiful woman in the world, after Boa Hancock of course.
Aurelia is essentially the fusion of a mafia boss, a mob wife, and an Ancient Roman patron. She has unbelievable amounts of money and an invisible net of connections that makes her almost untouchable. She's allied with Emperors, Warlords, kings and queens... Her main deal is providing smaller, more inexperienced pirate crews with her protection and support and getting their services in return, for example as soliders, for transportation... Whatever she needs at that moment. She can be as kind as she can be cruel, and people are generally both in awe and scared of her. Her epithet is "Black Widow" both because of her spider net of connections and because all of her lovers keep mysteriously dying as if through some sort of curse. Mihawk is the only one who has been able to resist that curse. Shanks doesn't count because Aurelia claims she never truly loved him.
One of the places under her protection is Baratie, and so she gets caught up in the Straw Hats' shenanigans. First, Nami asks her for help, then she returns to Arlong ransacking the place and essentially kidnapping Nami, then she finds out that Zoro was almost killed by her husband... Also, Sanji is the closest thing to a son that she has, so Sanji joining the Straw Hats is pretty much the final nail in the coffin to her deciding on her own terms that she's going to protect those kids to the best of her ability. You can kind of imagine her as the rich aunt, but a lot more deadly. Generally, she spends a majority in the story picking up her den den mushi and going "Luffy, what did you do this time?" The boy pretty much becomes her most effective portégé when it comes to expanding her territory, because he keeps punching tyrants and asking her to put the newly freed kingdoms under her protection. She also kicks ass at Marineford, of course, helps protect the Sunny during the timeskip, and becomes decorously unhinged when Whole Cake Island comes around because of her own personal history with Big Mom and "That's my son!" and "Luffy, you are not going to kill an Emperor." - so yeah, she pretty much has to follow the Straw Hats to Wano too, lest they get themselves kicked. She's both the queen of the literal universe and the exhausted mother of a crew of literal toddlers. Or. Well. Children and one supercharged toddler who will not stop causing chaos.
Her entire backstory is so freaking great. Growing up as a Kuja, running away from home because she's mad at her mother for leaving the Kuja tribe, her very first murder of a lover who also happened to be a nobleman, her bond with Iva and speedy hormone therapy, whatever the hell was going on between her and Shanks, her relationship with Mihawk, the whole situation with Big Mom and her rules for alliances, Mihawk literally fighting for her hand in marriage, her meeting Sanji and essentially adopting him... There's a lot going on. Wish I could write it one day.
Tumblr media
The Mechanic: Lux Jirou
Tumblr media
Lynx boi! Kuro tricked him into thinking he had Amber Lead Snydrome but it's actually just vitiligo. Used to be a member of the Black Cat Pirates (posing as the mansion's security guard) but liked Kaya a little too much and figured out Kuro was lying, so he teamed up with the Straw Hats to take him down. Also has the worst crush on Zoro and Zoro has the worst crushback, but they're both too stupid to figure it out. He goes by Jirou while with the Black Cat Pirates but starts going only by his last name Lux once he starts rebelling. Ends up joining the Heart Pirates and working as a mechanic on the Polar Tang.
Once again, so many of my ideas for him are more visual because... big kitty! Huge freaking paws! Cuddly cat naps! Involuntary purring because he has a crush and he's a cat and... Yeah. Also, he's absolutely thriving at Punk Hazard. Lots of snow? No problem! Lynx have built-in snow shoes. Also, his devil fruit (Neko Neko no Mi, Model: Lynx), much like the dinosaur SMILEs of the Beasts Pirates, works with Zoan logic. "Lynxes can walk on snow, so they can also walk on water, right? Since water is just frozen snow. And then maybe they can walk on air too if they train hard enough? Because of the humidity?"
Tumblr media
The Siren: Kanyalani
Tumblr media
Also known as Kan-chan, because Luffy is not pronouncing her full name. She's a betta fish mermaid and former slave and joined the Sun Pirates after being liberated. She has a romance with Jinbe which eventually turns into a polycule with the addition of Robin and Franky when they both join the Straw Hats. Kan-chan fights with chakrams and uses Merman Combat as well as some Fishman Karate.
Now for some mermaid characteristics: Since she's a betta fish mermaid, she shares betta fish characteristics. This means that she loves her color when she's unhappy and becomes more vibrant when she is happy. She also has a unique ability. Whereas all mermaids have beautiful voices, Kan-chan's singing can lull anyone to sleep, even in the midst of battle. Also, she's over thirty, so her tail is split, but she has trouble walking, so she practically never does it. She prefers using Bubbly Corals to navigate and claims that her very frilly fin makes for bad legs anyways.
Tumblr media
The Archer: Shimotsuki Kaede
Tumblr media
A Kuina look alike from Ebisu Town who nearly gives Zoro a heart attack when he sees her with her mask off for the first time. The concept for this OC basically came to me in the concept of many What Ifs. What if Kuina was still alive? What if Kuina was even more gender? What if there was a flying squirrel? What if someone pulled a Robin Hood on Orochi?
So, here's Kaede. Regular Ebisu Town citizen by day, dying and mending kimonos, stealing food and shooting arrows at people by night. As Ebisu Town gets the leftovers from the Flower Capital, this also includes the half-eaten SMILEs, and Kaede had the one-in-a-million luck of one of the SMILEs, finicky things that they are, still having traces of the power it once gave. And so, she got the power of the flying squirrel SMILE, making her the "devil fruit twin" of Bao Huang. She practices kyūdō in secret and almost runs an arrow through Orochi's head after Yasuie's execution. She would've hit the bastard too if someone hadn't hit her bow and made her miss.
Tumblr media
The Soldier: Roronoa Sonoko
Tumblr media
Ah yes, the reason why this post took me so long... She just appeared the moment I saw the scene in OPLA where Morgan tries to get Zoro to join the Marines. Because my brain went: Y'know, what if he actually had? So, I bring to you: Zoro's sister. No, not biological sister. They're siblings the way the ASL brothers are siblings. By exchanging sake cups. They got in trouble for stealing the sake and the cups but it was all worth it. What makes the situation even funnier is that Sonoko keeps on telling people that they're not biological siblings but nobody believes her because she's pretty much Zoro's spitting image. And it's her fault, too! Because she chooses to wear those earrings (more or less, but that's a bit of a longer story) and she chooses to dye her hair green! Yes, among the thousands of people with naturally funky hair colors, Kaede is pretty much the only one who actually dyes her hair.
So yeah, she's a Marine! Freshly promoted to Ensign when Koby and Helmeppo join and Garp's protégé. Her sword training comes from Bogard but she uses Two-Sword Style, so it's more her figuring out techniques and Bogard putting up with them. That is until Garp calls on Mihawk to go catch Luffy. Hawk Eyes comes to the ship to say that he decided not to do just that and Garp, as a payment for not reporting this to the World Government, asks Mihawk to take Sonoko on as a student. Mihawk, being Mihawk, is about to remind Garp that he does whatever he wants and doesn't need a deal like that. But then he sees the spitting image of Zoro in front of him and hears the same last name - and he changes his mind. Maybe it's worth a shot?
Following that, I don't have that many ideas except that Sonoko gets a bunch of promotions, only to go AWOL to warn Mihawk of the dismantling of the Warlords system during the Reverie because, at this point, she's far more loyal to him than to the Government or the Marines. She then completely deserts and dashes to Wano to help her brother and his crew defeat Kaido. In the process of the Raid on Onigashima (possibly while protecting either Hiyori or Zoro), she loses an arm and one of her swords and is just... overcome with guilt and shame. So much so that she can't bring herself to return to Mihawk after this incredible failure. Franky does replace her arm with a robotic one and everyone is super nice and supportive to her, the samurai step in and try to reason with her, but she's completely blinded by shame and anxiety. She keeps training, of course, she keepy going, but she just doesn't see herself as worthy anymore of being the student of the World's Greatest Swordsman. But then Mihawk himself shows up at Wano, looking specifically for her and tells her that she isn't a failure, that he's proud of her for her sacrifice for her cause and, most importantly of all, because she kept going. So, all is well and she joins the Cross Guild. Maybe befriends Cabaji, I dunno.

↬ OC Verse Trading Cards
Here it is! The reason (well, one of the reasons) for why I've been so inactive lately. I saw this super cool trading card template by @squea and @buttertrait and thought it was super fun, so I wanted to make something similar for my mutuals and myself. And, as you can see, I rediscovered my love for art deco on the way, so it's very art deco lol
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You can find the template to make your own cards here - and I explicitly encourage you to make your own, because I was kinda hoping I would get to see cards of you guys' OCs and we could collect them all in a binder like this one. It would be really fun! (The number next to the name is the power level btw - I wanted to imitate a set of Star Wars trading cards I used to collect as a kid) Make sure to @ me when you do and tag your post with #ocversetradingcards!
I tried to make the template as accessible as possible so that even beginners should be able to use it without any issues. So, I color-coded the layers!
The red layers are ones you shouldn't touch. They make up the main frame of the card. The orange layers are ones where you can play around with the colors, but that's for advanced photoshop/photopea users. The green ones are the ones where you put in text! Edit those freely. Blue ones are ones you have to select and move as a batch - if you don't know how to do that, check below the cut ^^
You'll need to download these fonts:
Park Lane (name & power level)
Market Deco (main text font)
Artisual Deco Black Italic (blog url)
Below the cut, you'll find a tutorial for the template and a list of the image resources I used - Quick info for everyone, including the more experienced Photopea users: Save your image at 50% quality. The template is a big file and the exported image will also be pretty big if you don’t save it at a lower quality. 50% is what you can see above and I think it's a nice size-quality ratio.
Tutorial Time
Opening the File
Step one: Get either Photoshop or Photopea. Photoshop costs money, Photopea is free and runs in your browser. Take three guesses which one I use. Yeah, it's Photopea. As such, this tutorial will be Photopea-centric, and I also have no clue what the Photoshop interface looks like, so I can't really help you if you work on Photoshop. But I'm told they're essentially the same, so...
Step two: Download the fonts listed above from the links in this post.
Step three: Click on the link above to go download the template. It's a bit of a big file, so I put it into a zip file for you. Don't worry, you don't need a special program to open it. Photopea will do that for you.
Step four: Open Photopea. Click on "File" -> "Open..." and select the "TradingCardTemplate" zip file.
Step five: Click "File" -> "Open..." again and select the zip files for the fonts. This will import them to Photopea. There are also preview images included in at least one of the zip files for the fonts, so just close the windows for those projects when they pop up by clicking on the little "x" next to their file name. You only need the "TradingCardTemplate.psd" tab to be open in your Photopea window.
Great! Now you're all set to edit!
Editing the name, power level and blog url
I decided to group these together because they function essentially the same way
Step one: Select the typing tool. It's the little "T" symbol in the toolbar on the left side of your screen.
Step two: Select the layer of the text you want to edit. The blog url one is in plain view. For the name and power ones, you need to open the corresponding folders first. They're the green layers in the folders!
Step three: Click on the text you want to edit. It's easiest to aim for the middle, that way you have the least chances of missing. The typing tool is a bit finicky with that sometimes, especially if the text is small.
Great! Now you can use your keyboard to delete the placeholder text and replace it with your own! The power level will only fit two digits and picking "00" will look bad. Your OC should have at least some power. They need it to breathe.
Changing the size of the name text
As you might be able to tell, the basic text size only works for fairly short names. So, you might have to make it smaller for your OC's name to fit
Step one: Enter your OC's name as described above.
Step two: Select the text as you would anywhere else in your browser.
Step three: Above the little tag where it says "TradingCardTemplate.psd", there's an options bar. You'll find a box there labelled "Size" with a box that says "150px" and a down arrow next to it. Click on the down arrow and a slider will pop up. Play around with that slider until your text has a good size. Then click on the checkmark.
Step four: Switch to the transformation tool. It's the cursor with the directional cross next to it, at the top of your left-hand tool bar. Move your text so that it aligns well with the left side of the frame but make sure it's below the middle.
Step five: You now have to select two layers at once. The text layer and the frame for the name tag. Do do that, either press and hold your control key on your keyboard while selecting the other layer or toggle the control key using the on-screen keyboard at the bottom left of the toolbar. If you use the toggle, don't forget to untoggle it after.
Step six: On your horizontal toolbar above your project window, click on the icon that's a horizontal line with two boxes centered on it.
Congrats, your text should now be centered!
Adding in your OC picture
Step one: Open the "Picture" folder and select the layer beneath "Add picture here". This will make sure your picture will be in the right spot. Also make sure to click on the eye next to the "Pattern" layer tag to make it go invisible.
Step two: Select "File" -> "Open & Place..." and pick a nice image.
Step three: Once the image has been imported, make sure you change the zoom percentage to 100%, that way the image doesn't look pixely or weird. Click on the checkmark.
Step four: Resize your image so your OC fits nicely into the frame. The image should fill the entire space inside the frame and can stick out as much as you want.
Step five: Right-click (or press and hold, if you're on mobile) your image' layer and select "Clipping Mask".
Perfect! Now your image should no longer stick out of the frame. Feel free to adjust your image's coloration, brightness etc. by selecting "Image" -> "Adjustments" and your preferred action.
Changing your stats bars
This works the same for each bar and I tried to make it as simple as possible.
Step one: Open the corresponding folder.
Step two: Select the set of three blue layers together. You can do this by selecting one layer normally, then selecting the other two while holding your control key or while having it toggled using the built-in on-screen mini keyboard at the bottom left of your screen. If you use the toggle, don't forget to untoggle it after.
Step three: Switch to the transformation tool (the one at the top of your left-hand toolbar, it's a cursor with a directional cross) and move your layers. By moving them to the right, you'll reveal more of the gold underneath the overlay. More gold = higher level of the corresponding stat.
Great job! Now adjust the bars to your liking.
Saving your project + card image
To save the project: Click on "File" -> "Save as PSD". This will download the current project under the same name as the file that you downloaded it as. So, it will be called "TradingCardTemplate (1)" or something similar. Make sure you change the name in your files so you know which is which. Alternatively, you can also change the name of the project by double-clicking the little square that currently says "TradingCardTemplate" and type in your new name. If you save again now, it will show the new project name! Make sure to save your project if you want to be able to recover it and/or work on it later!
To save the card image: Click on "File" -> "Export as >" and pick your preferred image file type. I suggest JPG for best results. Make sure to turn the quality slider to 50%, then hit the save button. This will download an image file of your chosen type, under the same name as the project name. To change that name, refer to the bullet point above or go to your files :)
Advanced: Changing the BG color of the pattern
Step one: Select the pattern background of either the name tag, power score or picture and turn it to 100% opacity.
Step two: Color-pick the current background color of the pattern.
Step three: Click "Image" -> "Adjustments" -> "Replace Color..." and click on the colored rectangle in the new pop-up. Replace the default color with your color-picked color. Now use the Hue, Saturation and Lightness sliders to get a new color that you like. Note down your slider values for later so you have them for the other elements.
Step four: Color-pick your new color and select the corresponding solid background layer. For those layers, click "Edit" -> "Fill..." and make sure you have "Foreground" and "Normal" selected, your Opacity is 100% and you have "Preserve Transparency" checked.
Step five: Don't forget to turn the opacity of your pattern layers back down to 60%.
Congrats! You have your colors changed! Repeat this process for the other two patterned elements.
Extra advanced: Changing the card's background color
NOTE: I DON'T recommend this. You can do it, but it's a lot of work.
Step one: Select the background layer and change its color to the new color you want. You can do it with the "Hue/Saturation..." adjustment, with the "Fill" edit as described above, or whichever way you want. Color-pick your new color.
Step two: Open the smart object PSDs for the frames for the frames for the picture, the name tag, and the power counter by double-clicking on the preview image of the layer.
Step three: Select the lowest colored layer of each and change its color to the same as your new card background color. Click on "File" -> "Save (Smart Object)". Close the project windows.
Step four: Open the folders for the various stat bars and select the "Color Overlay" layers. Change their colors the same way you did for the other layers. Warm colors and high-saturation colors will most likely not look good here and you might need to find a different way of making the stat bars look good. Playing around with the "Brightness/Contrast" adjustment layers above might help, but I can't promise anything. This is the main reason why I don't recommend changing the card background color. The stats bars are adjusted to the background color.
There we are! Either your card looks very pretty now or you understand why I don't recommend this. Either way: Good job!

Guess what! Years later and I finally finished those last three fics! Truth be told, the first two of the bunch have been sitting in my drafts for a whilw now (and I'm not very proud of the third) but nonetheless, here they are! Thank you so much for your ask <3

💙 Drunken Kiss/Tipsy
Zoro pushed open one more door, finding himself on a balcony, in the cool night air. All he had wanted to do was get a moment to breath, away from the partying crowd, and now he couldn’t find his way back. This damn castle was a maze. On top of that, the half-empty bottle he had grabbed for himself before leaving was now fully empty, so he had run out of booze. Great, just great. He placed it down next to the doorframe and leaned against the railing. At least the sky was beautiful. Dozens upon dozens of stars smiling down at him from far away, creating unique constellations that he could never remember the names of.
That was when he heard someone call his name. No, not someone. Her – Cora! And she sounded really whiny. Hopefully she was just being dramatic… With a sigh, Zoro turned back around and headed for the door. But before he could go back inside, the door was pushed open.
Sanji stepped out onto the balcony, holding the door open for Cora, whom he was guiding by the waist.
“Zoro!” Cora called out, staggering into the swordsman’s arms as she held a bottle in her hands.
“Oh god,” Zoro grumbled, holding her close to his chest as he threw an accusatory glance at Sanji.
“She wanted to come see you,” Sanji just shrugged.
He joined his two partners on the balcony, ruffling Zoro’s hair before leaning on the railing, looking out towards the sea.
“You can’t jus’ run off,” Cora complained, muffled by Zoro’s shirt. “I missed you!”
“You’re such a lightweight,” Zoro chuckled. “Hey, waiter, how’d she even get this drunk?”
“I made the mistake of leaving her alone with Nami for a bit too long,” Sanji sighed.
“Yeah, that’ll do it.”
With a lovestruck smile, Sanji plucked the bottle out of Cora’s hand.
“Hey, don’t steal that!” Cora immediately whined. “I wan’ed to give that to Zoro! ‘ts’is favorite.”
“I know, I’m just holding it for him,” Sanji soothed her, running his fingers through her hair.
Scooping Cora up from the ground as if she were a toddler, Zoro sat down on the ground; all the while, Cora kept clinging to him like a koala, tears pricking in her eyes.
“You won’t leave me again, right?” she begged.
“I won’t,” Zoro assured her.
“You’ll stay with me. Do you promise you’ll stay with me?”
“I promise.”
“And you won’t let me go?”
“Not unless I absolutely have to.”
“So never?”
“Yeah, that’s right.”
“Awwww! Roro, you’re the best!”
“I know.”
Sanji just giggled as he pulled the cork out of the bottle, watching Cora snuggle up to Zoro like a little kitten. Not even Zoro’s glare could wipe the smile off his face.
“That’s the first time you’ve let that nickname slide,” he teased.
“You think it’s a good idea to scold her right now?” Zoro threw back.
“No, that would be mean,” Cora murmured.
“Yeah, Zoro’s a big meanie, right?” Sanji cooed.
Meanwhile, Zoro tried to grab the bottle, but Sanji kept it out of his reach.
“Yeah, but he’s comfy,” Cora mumbled, sounding like she was about to drift off to sleep. She probably was. “And warm. And cuddly. And nice. And mean. And pretty. Pretty mean boy.”
Sanji broke out into laughter, as much as he tried to keep quiet. Finally, he handed Zoro the bottle.
“Well, mossy,” he sighed, “sounds like you’re gonna be stuck here for a while.”
“Yeah, and so are you, ‘cause I’m not letting you leave. Unless you’re going to grab me another bottle.”
“Greedy bastard. Let’s finish that one first.”

💜 Surprise Kiss/Impulsive Kiss
“Cora!”
Zoro sprinted through the ruins, scanning the battlefield for any signs of life. He never should’ve left her alone. They never should’ve been separated. This was all his fault. A bunch of thread and a rapier were no match for an entire arsenal of weapons. That damned devil fruit user, tricking him like that… And now Cora had gotten into danger, because Zoro hadn’t been able to look through the lie sooner. Because he had been too stupid to think, Cora might be-
“Zoro!”
Immediately, Zoro started running faster. She was alive! She was conscious!
“Over here!”
“Cora!”
Finally, there she was, in the middle of the ruins of a house.
“I’m stuck!”
Her leg was buried beneath the rubble, her skin darkened with all sorts of grime. His heart racing in his chest, Zoro dropped to the floor next to her. Before he could even think, he had pressed his lips onto hers, devouring her in a desperate kiss. Cora squeaked in surprise, but then let herself fall into the kiss, digging her fingers into his tattered shirt. That was until she pushed him away.
“Yuck!” she called out between exhausted giggles, trying to catch her breath.
“What?”
“You’re covered in blood and sweat! Go shower!”
“And you aren’t or what?” Zoro scoffed, but a smile crept onto his face. “Watch out or I’ll throw you into that river near the town gate.”
“Well, get this stuff off of me first!” Cora demanded, gesturing at the rubble weighing down her leg. “Otherwise, I’m not going anywhere.”
“You’re so needy,” Zoro joked, but he started moving the smaller pieces and bricks aside.
“Cora!” Sanji’s voice cut through the air.
The cook came sprinting with full speed, coming to a stumbling halt next to his two lovers. He scrambled onto the ground and pressed a hasty kiss to Cora’s cheek.
“Don’t worry, princess, we’re gonna get you out of there.”
“Sanji, I’m fine,” Cora chuckled tiredly.
“Are you sure? Your leg got crushed by a huge rock!”
“Well, I can still feel it, so it’s gotta be fine, right?”
Sanji let out an exasperated sigh that faded into a chuckle. “You’re a bad influence, mosshead.”
“Yeah, yeah,” Zoro grumbled. “Come on, you help move her, I’ll lift the rock.”
Sanji nodded and wrapped his arms around Cora’s waist to pull her out. Zoro, meanwhile, got a good grip on the piece of rubble atop Cora’s leg.
“Careful,” Cora whimpered, suddenly dreading all movements.
“I’ll be gentle, alright?” Sanji assured her. “But I also have to be fast. It’ll only hurt for a moment, I promise.”
Cora nodded, a nod that Sanji echoed to Zoro. On the count of three, Zoro lifted the rock and Sanji pulled Cora backwards. She squeaked in pain, but as soon as it had started, it was over again, and Cora was left panting and quietly whimpering. Her leg had turned a sickly blue and green and was swollen to a worrisome size. Swiftly, Sanji wrapped her in his arms and brushed some loose hairs out of her face, whispering sweet nothings to ease her pain.
“Come on,” Zoro groaned, rolling the soreness out of his shoulders. “Let’s go home.”

💗 Slow Kiss/Gentle Kiss
Cora sat at the dinner table, absent-mindedly humming to herself as she worked on her current sewing project, practiced stitches across the steady fabric. At the same time, Sanji was standing at the kitchen isle, chopping the vegetables for his newest recipe. Every once in a while, he would glance over at Cora, just to get another look at her beautiful face, at the gentle smile gracing her lips, at the fluid motions of her hands. He had to be careful not to get too distracted and cut himself, but it was a tough task when she was just so incredibly beautiful.
“Something wrong?” Cora asked softly without lifting her eyes from her work.
“No, everything’s fine,” Sanji said, “Perfect even, because I get to look at the most beautiful girl across the seas.”
“Just don’t look too hard and cut yourself. Otherwise, this beautiful girl is going to be very unhappy.”
“We can’t have that, of course.”
They worked in silence for a few more minutes, until Zoro came in.
“Hey, waiter, when’s dinner ready?”
“You’re almost as bad as Luffy,” Sanji mumbled. “45 minutes.”
Zoro just scoffed, then turned around and got ready to leave again.
“Zoro, wait!” Cora called, reaching a hand out for him.
So, Zoro turned around once again.
“What?” he grumbled, but he followed obediently like a guard dog, walking towards her until she could hook her fingers into his haramaki.
“I finished your shirt,” Cora announced, presenting it to him. “There, good as new.”
Zoro hummed quietly, plucking it from her hands. “Thanks.”
“I didn’t know you got this attached to your clothes.”
“I don’t.”
“It’s because you made it for him,” Sanji commented with a smile.
“No, it’s not!” Zoro snapped, his cheeks red with embarrassment.
“Yes, it is.”
“Is it?” Cora asked, her eyes widened with adoration.
“Okay, maybe it is,” Zoro mumbled.
With a happy little squeal, Cora jumped up from her seat and into Zoro’s arms, letting him lift her from the floor and hold her close.
“Awwww,” Sanji cooed, “the mosshead’s growing soft!”
“Shut up,” Zoro growled as Cora giggled quietly.
She wrapped her legs around his waist, prompting Zoro to adjust his hold on her, shifting her body a little higher and making sure she wouldn’t fall. Running her fingers through his hair, she pressed a gentle kiss to his chapped lips.
“Zoro?”
“Hm?”
“I love you.”
“Yeah, yeah…” Zoro mumbled, looking away as his cheeks turned pink.
“Don’t you love me back?”
“Hm.”
Instead of replying, Zoro just kissed Cora back, lingering a bit longer than he usually did, taking his time with his nonverbal response. Butterflies lifted off in Cora’s stomach, goosebumps blooming across her skin. When he finally pulled back, Zoro leaned his forehead against hers.
“How’s that for an answer?”

Mr Prince and his Princess - The Musical
For Sanji's birthday, I posted a little fic of Cora giving him some birthday surprises, and, to get in the correct writing mood, I also made a playlist! So, I thought I might as well share that here too! I made a moodboard and, voilá, here it is!
Tumblr media
I'm so happy that I found those two pictures. They're like mirror images <3

Sanji/Cora/Zoro Fic Snippets, Part 1
I got a very lovely ask from @starcrossedjedis to write some fic snippets for my girl Cora and her boyfriends, so that's what I did. There are a lot of snippets, so they'll be in multiple parts! Prepare for lots of softness!
I made sure to put a bit more emphasis on Zoro this time, because my focus has been on Sanji these last few days - for obvious reasons - and I feel like I've been neglecting my beloved mosshead, so...
Hope you enjoy!
Note: These fics aren't in chronological order but in the order that the hearts for the prompts are in in the ask. The ask itself is gonna be posted with the very last part of the snippets. Also, I can't find one of the hearts from the ask in the prompt list (this one 🩷), so I'll just take it as a wildcard to pick a prompt from the remaining ones <3

❤️ First Kiss/Realization
Zoro was internally grumbling the entire time as Chopper kept performing various tests on him. All he had done was jump into ice water and get snowed in by an avalanche, what was the big deal? He wasn’t bleeding or anything. This little reindeer was just overbearing.
“Take off your shirt, please,” Chopper said. “I need to listen to your heartbeat.”
With a quiet sigh, Zoro pulled his shirt over his head.
This was really starting to get boring. The door to the examination room was slightly ajar and Zoro could hear the chatter outside. Usopp seemed to be telling another one of his stories, and Nami and Cora were listening, throwing in little remarks. A gust of wind opened the door a little further, just enough for Cora to become visible from Zoro’s point of view. Then, she laughed, and it felt like a flare went off in Zoro’s chest.
“Zoro?” Chopper asked, lifting his stethoscope from Zoro’s chest.
“Hm?” Zoro replied, the little smile that had formed on his face fading as he looked back down at the little reindeer.
“Your pulse got faster all of a sudden.”
“Oh. Yeah, it does that sometimes.”
For some reason, Chopper looked a little worried. “At random or in specific situations?”
Zoro furrowed his brows a little as he thought about it. “I dunno. I think it has to do with Cora most of the time. Maybe she did something wrong when she stitched me back together or something.”
“Oh!” Chopper gasped, his eyes widened with joy. “No, she didn’t do anything wrong. You’re just in love, silly!”
Immediately, Zoro’s body went rigid and his hand shot forwards to cover Chopper’s mouth. “Shut up!” he growled. “Someone’s gonna hear you. I’m not in love, and you know it!”
Chopper just nodded slowly, more intimidated than in agreement. It wasn’t enough that Nami was constantly teasing him about how he had a soft spot for Cora – he did, there was no denying that anymore, even if he tried – so Chopper really shouldn’t be joining in too.
“Can I go now?”
Once again, Chopper just nodded. “You seem healthy to me.”
“Good.”
Muttering curses under his breath, Zoro picked up his swords and left the room. But he didn’t get too far before Cora spotted him.
“Hey, Zoro! So you really didn’t catch a cold then?”
“Hm.” Zoro just responded.
“Oh come on,” Nami scoffed. “You’re still sulking? Cora saved us from turning into wax, you better be grateful!”
“Yeah, but she stole my swords in the process!”
“That way they didn’t turn to wax, you idiot,” Cora hissed.
“Whatever.”
“Oh, forget it. You’re gonna have to talk to me eventually. – Chopper!”
Cora’s tone changed instantly when she saw the little reindeer come out of the examination room.
“Look, I finished the jacket I promised to make you!”
With a bright smile on her face, Cora revealed a dark pink jacket from behind her back, small enough to fit a doll. Small enough to fit Chopper. She helped Chopper put it on, biting her lip in a small wave of anxiety. But as soon as Chopper had the jacket on, she was smiling again. He spun around in circles, looked at himself from every angle, thanked Cora over and over again. All the while, Nami and Usopp made little comments, praising both Cora and Chopper to their hearts’ content. Cora was blushing lightly, telling Chopper about her thoughts while designing the jacket, about the purpose of the various hems, about the properties of the fabric.
Zoro didn’t even notice that he had been staring until the thumping in his chest reminded him of reality. Why didn’t she ever talk to him like that? And why did she have to look so goddamn pretty blushing like that? Who had given her the right to be this pretty in the first place? And why did her lips have to look so freaking soft?! Wait…
“Fuck.”
Tumblr media
Kissing in Bed/Lazy Kiss/Cuddling
The sun was shining in through the windows, shedding a gentle light on the mat laid out in the middle of the room. On it, Cora, Sanji and Zoro were sleeping peacefully, a tangle of limbs under their jackets and a blanket. It was the morning after a party and everything was quiet, the entire world seeming happily exhausted after such a big celebration. They had done it yet again. A seemingly unbeatable foe, defeated by a bunch of unruly pirates with a rubber boy for a captain. Now, for a few days, everything was alright again in the life of the Straw Hat Pirates. Until the next inevitable chaos, of course, but that was still in the future. What counted was now.
Sanji was the first to wake up, still groggy from sleep and at least a little tipsy from the lingering alcohol in his veins. When he finally registered where he was and who was with him, warmth spread in his chest and he couldn’t help but smile.
Cora was snuggled up to his chest, looking absolutely adorable in Zoro’s t-shirt, and completely peaceful. Zoro himself was cuddling her from behind, his nose resting atop her messy hair, his arm wrapped around her above Sanji’s, one of his hands tucked into a whole between the buttons on Sanji’s shirt.
Carefully, Sanji uncurled his arm from around Cora’s waist, then lifted Zoro’s hand out of its space in his shirt. Just as he was slowly wiggling his way away from the others, Zoro grabbed him by the shirt.
“Where d’you think you’re going?” he mumbled, sounding like he was still at least halfway asleep.
“To make breakfast,” Sanji whispered.
“No, you’re not.”
“Don’t feel like breakfast in bed?”
“I feel like sleeping. And Cora’s sleeping too for once, so if she wakes up because you left, I’m gonna take your head.”
Sanji bit his tongue from cooing teasingly, resorting to quiet chuckle instead. “Are you?” he winked.
“Shut up,” Zoro grumbled, but there was a smirk on his face.
As Sanji carefully snuck back into his old position, Zoro opened his eyes, blinking against the light. He gently picked up Cora’s arm and draped it back over Sanji’s torso. As if she recognized him by her side, be it by smell or by shape or by the feel of his clothes, Cora instinctively pulled herself closer against Sanji, grabbing the back of his shirt before her movements stilled again, her palm resting against his back.
“Look at her,” he murmured, carefully brushing a strand of Cora’s hair out of her face. “Like she doesn’t have a care in the world.”
“That’s because she doesn’t”, Zoro stated quietly. “She’s sleeping in the safest place there is. I wouldn’t worry if I were her.”
“You’re right. Our little princess,” Sanji sighed.
Carefully, he placed a gentle kiss on her scalp, thereby leaning his forehead against Zoro’s. Sanji ran a finger along Zoro’s jaw and along his neck to his collarbone before resting his hand between Cora’s shoulder blades, between her back and Zoro’s chest, feeling both of their warmth. He closed his eyes again with a content sigh. Maybe they’d stay like this for a few more minutes… Or hours…
Sadly, that plan was starting to look just a little impossible when there was a loud thud outside, followed by Luffy yelling only a second later. Cora stirred in her boyfriends’ arms, her eyes slowly fluttering open.
“Can’t even have one peaceful morning with this crew,” Zoro grumbled.
Then, Usopp joined in outside too, shouting something at Luffy.
“I had such a good dream,” Cora moaned, hiding her face in Sanji’s chest as if that would help to block out reality.
“You did, didn’t you?” Sanji hummed. “Hey, mosshead, you’re the first mate; why don’t you go check what our captain’s up to?”
“You’re the one who tried to get up just a minute ago,” Zoro threw back. “Why don’t you go check?”
Sanji sighed heavily. “Fair point. Might as well make breakfast while I’m up. – Sorry, princess,” he said as he lifted Cora’s arm off of him yet again.
He gave her a soft kiss to the lips, one that Cora barely reciprocated in her sleepy state, then another to the cheek. As gently as he could, he, along with Zoro, helped Cora turn around so that she wouldn’t put too much strain on her injuries. As soon as she got up, they’d surely start hurting, just like they always did. But for now, she got to snuggle into Zoro’s chest as he kept her safe and warm.
“I’ll make you something special, alright?” Sanji promised as he tried to make his wrinkled shirt look at least slightly presentable. Finally, he slipped into his shoes and patted Zoro on the head. “I’m counting on you, mossy,” he said with a smile. Then, he got on his way to find out just what mess the Straw Hats’ captain had started now.

These are both a bit more on the shorter side, hope you don't mind! Also, I originally promised myself I was gonna do fluff only, but a little bit of hurt/comfort snuck into the second one ^^"
Enjoy!

💛 Reunion Kiss/Relief
Cora was leaning over the railing, waiting for Usopp to come back up with Sanji. Whatever had happened to Sanji over the last two years, it was concerning, to say the least.
“That idiot,” Zoro grumbled, coming up behind her and wrapping an arm around her waist.
That was… new. Well, one of those things.
Cora chuckled. “You’re always so nice to him… Glad to know at least that hasn’t changed.”
Zoro spun her around in his arms, then placed a rough hand beneath her chin and kissed her on the lips. The kiss was oddly gentle, yet desperate at the same time, and all the while just as rough as Zoro’s kisses always were. It was the comfort that Cora had been yearning for for the last two years, mixed with the thrill of something new. When Zoro finally pulled away from her, she immediately missed the taste of his lips.
“Eager, are we?” she breathed.
“Can you blame me?” Zoro chuckled. “It’s been too fucking long.”
“It has.”
As if she were just a doll, Zoro easily scooped her up into his arms, letting her wrap her legs around his waist.
“There we go. Did you get smaller?”
“No, you idiot,” Cora laughed. “You got taller!”
“Did I?”
“Yeah! I’m wearing taller heels than usual and you’re still bigger than I remembered.”
“That’s good.”
“Is it?”
“You’ll get tired of looking up, so I get to carry you around more.”
Once again, Cora laughed, clinging on to Zoro so she wouldn’t lose her balance and fall. Not that he would ever let that happen. She let herself lean against him, running her fingers through his hair, trying to familiarize herself with every single detail about him again as quickly as possible. New freckles, new scars, the same shapes and colors she knew so well. The same but different. And she couldn’t wait to get to know him all over again.
Tumblr media
True Love’s Kiss/Magic Kiss/Healed
Cora stood in front of her closet, going through her clothes. She was looking for some old clothes to improve on, an embroidery project for those long days at sea, for those nights spent out on night watch, whether voluntary or not. Clad in only her underwear, she flicked through the various clothes hangers, looking at one garment, trying on another… Finally, she picked out an old skirt, plain black and uneventful. One of the few items she had actually bought and not sewn herself. Perhaps… Swiftly, she put it on, spinning around once or twice, then walking over to her vanity table to grab a piece of chalk. Carefully, she started sketching patterns and lines onto the fabric.
That was until she saw something out of the corner of her eye. Her gaze got caught on those characteristic lines on her back, senseless and discolored, as if someone had dropped their sewing kit and the needles had gone everywhere. Some were bigger, some were smaller. Some still hurt sometimes.
Suddenly, she heard someone call her name, and there were steps in the room. In a hectic motion, she yanked one of her jackets out of the closet and swung it over her shoulders, covering her back. Then, she noticed who it was: Zoro and Sanji, probably there to have her settle an argument or a bet. Or both. Or being clingy. Maybe all three.
“God,” Cora gasped, “don’t scare me like that.”
“Sorry, princess,” Sanji apologized.
“The door was open,” Zoro just shrugged.
“Was it?” Cora sighed, sounding both annoyed and tired.
“Aren’t you supposed to cover your tits when people come in?” Zoro asked, causing Sanji to give him an annoyed stare.
“And since when do I care about covering my chest, huh?” Cora replied. “I’ve got some very pretty bras, why not show them off? Such a shame to be hiding them under shirts all the time.”
“But you’re still hiding your back?”
“… Touché.”
Typical Zoro. He always knew how to hit a nerve, but he had no idea how to do it gently. “Gentle” was more Sanji’s style. True to this, the blonde cook came up to hug Cora within seconds, gently running his fingers through her hair.
“There’s nothing to be embarrassed about,” he whispered.
“Wounds on the back are a swordsman’s greatest shame,” Cora just mumbled.
“Don’t use my words against me, you got it?” Zoro growled, pulling the jacket off of Cora’s back. “You’re not a swordsman, you’ve told me that over and over. And that rule only applies in a situation where you’re in control. Where it’s fair. You didn’t even have a chance to fight.”
“Look, Cora,” Sanji mumbled, cupping her face with his hands as Zoro ran his fingers along the scars across her back. “How you got those scars doesn’t matter anymore. It’s over. They healed. And we’re not going back there anymore. Never ever, you hear me? They’re never gonna find us, and if they do, we’ll be far away before they can even try to catch us. Alright?”
Cora nodded, wiping the tears from her eyes.
“That’s my girl,” Sanji smiled, giving her a gentle kiss.
“If any of those guys even try to get close to you, I’ll chop off their heads,” Zoro declared.
“I just wish I could’ve gotten out of there sooner,” Cora mumbled.
“You did what you could, and what’s done is done. Let them be assholes all they want, everyone’s gotta die one day.”
Cora hummed quietly, then a smile spread on her face. “Why did you come here anyway? Did you need anything?”
“That waiter claimed he was a better kisser than me,” Zoro grumbled.
“Really?”
“Because I am,” Sanji beamed. “Right, Cora? – It’s about the technique, not just shoving your tongue down someone’s throat.”
“You never seem to mind it when I do it to you,” Zoro chuckled. “And neither does Cora, by the way. Right, babygirl?”
“I, uh… I dunno,” Cora stammered. But then she smirked. “I’d need a direct comparison to know for sure.”
Immediately, there was a mischievous grin on both Zoro and Sanji’s faces.
“As you wish, madam,” Sanji purred.
Just then, Zoro picked Cora up from behind, causing her to let out a surprised shriek. Within few steps, he placed her down on her mattress. Both of the men crawled over her and started covering her in kisses, all the while trying to push each other away, throwing Cora into a giggling fit.

In My _ Era
When I saw this prompt for Day Three of the OC New Year's Challenge, I did a little reflecting. Emphasis on "little" because it came to me very quickly:
I am definitely in my...
ONE PIECE Era!
Really, I've created three new One Piece OCs within the last four months alone. It's really fitting, because Luna - the very same Luna I talked about in yesterday's entry - was my first ever proper OC - and also my first One Piece Era/hyperfixation, and I revamped her only recently, Inari joined her sometime during my earlier Tumblr days, upon my second One Piece Era/hyperfixation, and with the arrival of the live action, I was firmly hyperfixated once more and in my One Piece Era, and I haven't left it ever since. So, I present to you all five of my current One Piece OCs, listed from left to right by the time of their creation.
Tumblr media
Aether S. Luna, the "guardian angel" of the Straw Hats. Her crystalline shields and large wings have saved the little band of misfits countless times. Having travelled the seas since she can remember, she eventually ends up won by the Foxy Pirates, becoming part of the stakes during their fight against the Straw Hats. Of course, the Straw Hats (mainly Sanji), try their hardest to get her on their crew.
Charlotte Inari, the Straw Hats' lookout and errand girl. The complicated workings of her devil fruits like to toss her around a little, but she's fiercely loyal to her friends. Oh, and she also just so happens to be the daughter of one of the four Emperors of the Sea. Oh well... Surely, that won't cause any trouble.
Akaito Coraline, also known simply as Cora, the Straw Hats' tailor. The only living descendant of a world-famous family of tailors and a childhood friend of Sanji, Cora always carries three things: Her sewing needle, pierced through her ear. A dream to revive her family's legacy, making sure people remember the truth instead of the myths. And a burden on her mind, one that only Sanji seems to know, and neither of them like to share. Also, a crush on both Sanji and Zoro, but she would never admit that, would she?
Felicity, nicknamed Lily, is half human, half fennec fox mink, and honors a great deal of her vulpine ancestry. From being fairly nocturnal to becoming hyperactive (it's the zoomies, according to Usopp), from frequent naps and sleepy phases to a happily wagging, fluffy tail... Though then again, some of her mood swings might also be blamed on her devil fruit, its powers turning her emotions into... something. You never know.
My newest plot bunny, for now simply known as the "Black Widow", who was inspired by my history professor's tangent on the similarities between Ancient Roman patronage and the mafia. She's a spider with an invisible net of connections, her "friends", which include pirates from the old era, warlords, even emperors if you'll believe some sources. The Black Widow generously "adopts" younger, inexperienced or generally weaker pirates, dubbing them her "children" and offering them her protection - in return for some services, of course. Because friendship is a give and take. Some people claim she's incapable of love, some people claim that she's all talk and no game - but fact is that nobody has succeeded in killing her just yet, and her influence on the powers of the world is undeniable. No matter what you need - money, protection, men, weapons, or even a devil fruit - she can get it for you, for the small, small price of your undying loyalty. Those who have broken this vow all found themselves swimming with the fishes one way or another.

Happy birthday, Sanji!
I couldn't just let this day go by without posting something special for my favourite boy. Originally, I wanted to write two mini-fics, one with him and Cora and one with him and Luna, but the Cora one got pretty long (surprising, I know), so that's the one you're getting!
This probably takes place quite a while after OPLA season 1, but it's spoiler-free, so enjoy!
Tumblr media
Sanji slowly opened his eyes, taking in his surroundings. The sun was barely starting to come up behind the horizon, casting a low light into the men’s bedroom. Time for Sanji to get up. Almost like a marionette on strings, running on instinct alone, he crawled out of his hammock and shuffled over to the closet. He had to dodge around the limbs hanging off Luffy’s hammock – that straw-headed idiot slept like a starfish – but even that was long-since something that Sanji did unconsciously. Swiftly, he picked out a shirt and suit for the day, getting dressed without much thought behind it. He left the top few buttons open and threw his jacket over his shoulder, then made his way to the kitchen.
However, his mind was shaken awake just a little when he saw that there was a light on in the kitchen. Was Luffy trying to sneak food again? No, impossible, he had been sleeping in the men’s room only a minute ago and Sanji definitely would have seen him if he had left. Had he left the light on? Probably not, right? He never did. With furrowed brows, Sanji pushed open the door. But what he saw inside wasn’t what he had expected at all.
When he opened the door, Cora was standing there waiting for him, with a small cake in her hands that was topped off by a burning candle.
“Happy birthday!” she beamed, looking so much prettier than Sanji could ever imagine.
But he just stared with wide eyes, confused and eternally grateful, wondering just how he had gotten this lucky.
“Don’t tell me you forgot,” Cora giggled, a sound that might as well be angelic to Sanji’s ears.
“I did forget, yeah,” Sanji chuckled, finally moving from his frozen state. “I’m not even awake yet, don’t blame me.”
“Well, blow out the candle, before the wax gets anywhere.”
Sanji smiled widely and tossed his jacket over a kitchen counter. He finally walked up to Cora and blew out the candle, just like she had asked. Then, he easily took the cake from her with one hand, placing it down next to them while he pulled her closer by the waist, easing her into a kiss. She tasted vaguely of blueberries, giving him a hunch of what flavor his birthday cake might have, if the blue décor hadn’t already been an indication.
The cake itself was covered in white cream – butter cream, perhaps – but the edges were decorated with a rich blue frosting, its color exactly the same as the little blue candle atop the cake. Dark pink hearts were placed along the top of the cake, held in place by little tufts of blue frosting. The color coordination was perfect. Of course it was. This cake had been made by Cora after all.
When Sanji broke the kiss, Cora sank back down onto her heels with a bright smile, nestling at his collar. He pressed another kiss to her forehead and she felt him smile against her skin.
“Are you happy?” she asked.
“More than happy,” he replied. “This is the best birthday ever.”
Cora laughed. “Don’t say that when you haven’t tasted my baking creations yet.”
“Creations?” Sanji echoed. “You made more?”
“Well, what recipe do you think makes just five tiny hearts? I hid the rest of them in my room so that Luffy wouldn’t find them. They’re not for him.”
“So, your hearts belong to me?” Sanji asked with a wink.
Cora couldn’t help but giggle, a giggle that was so infectious that Sanji had to laugh at his own bad joke.
“Every single one of them,” she promised, sealing it with a kiss to his collarbone as proof.
Sanji ran his fingers along the sewing needle pierced through her ear, moving further back until he reached the hair tie keeping her hair in a bun, tugging lightly at it as a signal. Cora took his hint and brought her hands to the back of her head to let her hair down, giving Sanji a splendid view at her chest in the process.
“How about we put your lovely creation in the fridge for a minute? Wouldn’t want the butter cream to get warm, would we?”
Cora was about to ask how he knew that it was butter cream but instead settled for: “Are you sure? You might not have it all to yourself then.” She knew that tone of his. If she let him remove all distractions now, his hands and lips wouldn’t leave her for a long time to follow.
“We’ve got plenty of time until the others get here,” Sanji said. He always said that. “Besides, I know how to defend what’s mine.”
With that, he placed a kiss on Cora’s forehead and the argument was settled. He swept the cake from its position and motioned it into the fridge without any more protests.
“Just how long did this take to make?” he asked, taking the time to admiring Cora’s work of art once more before he closed the door.
“Oh, not too long,” Cora shrugged, avoiding his gaze.
“Darling…” Sanji sighed, but he couldn’t help but smile. “How long did everything take to make? The cake and the hearts.”
“If I tell you, you’ll just be upset.”
“I won’t be upset. Never, not at you.”
“Can’t you just enjoy this without worrying about how long it took?”
“I’m already worrying,” Sanji said softly, cupping Cora’s face with his hands. “So just tell me how long it took so that I can make it up to you.”
“That’s not how birthdays work.”
“It’s how I work.”
Cora sighed heavily, a smile stuck to her lips. “Fine. It took just over three hours. I had to get the colors just right and-“
“Three hours? You’ve been up since 2 o’clock?”
“1:15, actually, but-“
“No, nuh-uh, no buts. You’re taking a nap after lunch at the latest, okay? Can’t have my sweetheart be too sleep-deprived, can we?”
“No… I would never do that to my prince. I’ll even take Zoro with me, that way he won’t get jealous and you won’t get into fights.”
“That’s my girl,” Sanji hummed, his hands roaming across her waist. “Now, three hours, that’s three times sixty minutes, times sixty seconds, one kiss per second, that’s-“
“Sanji!” Cora gasped, feeling his grip around her tighten.
“Eh, who cares, I’ll just lose count anyway.”
And with that, he started peppering Cora’s face with kisses, leaving her beet-red and giggling.
“Wait, wait,” she squeaked, trying half-heartedly to push him away. “You haven’t even seen your gift yet.”
“I thought this was my gift,” Sanji smirked. “Don’t think I haven’t noticed. You’re wearing that dress that I love so much.”
“I was so scared to stain it.”
“That would’ve been a shame. It really shows off your curves.”
Cora laughed. “Of course it does, because it’s hiding nothing. There’s barely any fabric on it and the skirt is so short that I can’t even bend a centimeter without looking incredibly naughty.”
“Exactly, that’s what I was saying.”
“Pervert.”
“Maybe, but I’m your favourite pervert.”
“That you are. By the way, as soon as you get your hands off me, I’m putting on a cardigan, because I am not walking around the ship like this. We could be sailing into danger at any moment; you know how the Grand Line is – and how our crew is.”
“That means if I never let you go, I’ll never lose this lovely sight?”
“Sanji…”
“Fine, fine… But do me a favor and wear my jacket. You know I love to see you wear it because—”
“— because I look so adorable in it,” Cora completed his sentence.
“Because you look so adorable in it,” Sanji nodded. “I’ll even warm it up for you. Does that sound like an agreement?”
“Anything for my birthday boy… Will you open your real gift now?”
“Anything for the love of my life.”
Sanji slipped into his jacket, then let himself be led over to the dinner table. On its glossy surface sat a square box with a skillfully tied ribbon – the same color as the candle and the frosting on the cake, Sanji noted.
“Go on,” Cora encouraged him. “Open it.”
Carefully, Sanji loosened the ribbon and placed it neatly on the table. Then, he finally opened the lid. Immediately, his eyes lit up.
“Are those—?!”
“Your favourite shoes,” Cora confirmed. “Those that you wanted to throw out because they were damaged. Well, a copy of them.”
“They look the exact same! This is incredible!”
“Well… They’re not the exact same. Take a closer look.”
Carefully, Sanji lifted one of the shoes out of the box, twisting it in his hands. When he still couldn’t figure it out, he raised an eyebrow at Cora. With a giggle, she wrapped one of her hands around one of his, placed his fingers onto the tip of the shoe, and pressed down. The shoe didn’t budge!
“Steal caps?” Sanji gasped. “But it’s so light.”
“That’s because it’s not steel, it’s titanium,” Cora explained. “Kick people as much as you like, set yourself on fire if you want, but these shoes aren’t going to be damaged anytime soon.”
“You’re wonderful,” Sanji smiled, gently kissing her temple.
“There’s more… Look, the box is taller than that.”
Really, Sanji found that there was a sort of platform in the box that protected whatever was beneath it from the weight of the shoes. He lifted it out of the box and placed both shoes neatly on it, then looked at what else his princess had gifted him with. His smile wouldn’t leave his face as he took a brand-new shirt out of the box, subtle details of embroidery scattered across the fabric. Beneath it was a new suit jacket with the matching pair of trousers.
“I figured you deserved a new one,” Cora just shrugged, as if tailoring a full suit wasn’t hours upon hours’ worth of work.
But at the very bottom of the box sat the grand finale: A dark blue vest with intricate yet subtle details. Sanji lost his breath at the sight and his eyes sparkled like gems. As he lifted it out of the box, the details on the vest gave off a slight fuchsia shimmer. Not only that, but Sanji noticed that the pattern of swirls and waves included a little signature, placed on the left pocket: A sewing needle with three earrings dangling from it.
“Don’t tell me…?” Sanji whispered, his eyes becoming glossy with tears.
“Mhm,” Cora just hummed, pressing her lips together, trying to control her excitement.
“No, you didn’t…”
“Mhm. Hand-painted. Every last detail.”
“Cora, you’re incredible,” Sanji gasped, wiping a tear from his face.
He placed down the vest with utmost care, then pulled Cora into a tight hug, lifting her off the ground and into his arms. She wrapped her legs around his waist, absolutely certain that he wouldn’t ever drop her or let her go.
“What have I ever done to deserve you?” Sanji asked softly before gently locking lips with her.
“You’re you,” Cora replied when they parted, leaning into him once again, continuing between slow, intimate kisses: “You’re gentle. You’re kind. You know just how to make me smile when I feel down. You make me feel safe. There’s just one you in the world, and I’m so grateful that that one you is here with me.”
“I love you, Cora,” Sanji mumbled. “More than anything else in the world. You’re my All Blue, forever and ever, even if we never find it—”
“And we will find it. I promise you, we’ll find it. No matter what tries to get in our way. And then we’ll spend the rest of our lives there. You and me.”
“And the mosshead.”
“And the mosshead, if he can stay in one place for very long, the World’s Greatest Swordsman that he’s gonna be.”
“Is that a proposal?”
“You know it’s not my place to propose. I know how much you’d love to plan that all out.”
“Who says I’m not doing it already?” Sanji asked with a smile. “Planning it out.”
“You are?” Cora gasped, her cheeks a bright red. “Are you?”
“If I were, would I be telling you? I want it to be a surprise. But I’ll tell you this much: I’m thinking about it. Day and night I’m thinking about it, about how my perfect little princess will finally be mine. Forever and ever, happily ever after.”
“My prince,” Cora hummed, giving him another kiss. “Just know that, if you asked… I wouldn’t say no.”

asker!Alvita reporting for duty!! could I have all of this ask game for Cora and Lily??
Oooooooh, long post incoming!
Tumblr media
1. Can your OC admit to mistakes or weaknesses? Can they accept help?
Cora can do all of these things, at least around people she trusts. Mistakes are human nature, and she'll admit to making them. Weaknesses? Definitely. She likes to remind people that she is, in fact, not a swordsman, and that her devil fruit has limited battle usability. (She's somewhat wrong about this, but let her talk.) Also, she can definitely accept help. Otherwise, her relationship with Zoro would be in trouble, because the only way this man knows to express his affection is to conveniently do things for her. Of course, he's not doing them for her, he's doing them because he feels like it. Totally not in love. Never. Sanji also loves spoiling his princess. The man would bridal carry her everywhere if she asked. She also frequently calls both of them for help against stronger enemies if she realizes she can't beat them and knows they have time.
Lily is very good at all three of these things and she will cry about it. She'll be fighting on enemy three times her size one moment and run into Sanji's arms the next, crying in fear about how she's too small to fight and how she wants to go home. She's also still learning about the world, so there's a lot of things for her to be wrong about and she doesn't mind being corrected.
2. Is your OC more emotional or more stoic? How do their emotions show and how do they feel about them?
Cora is more emotional, definitely. Not overly emotional, but her emotions do show. Fun fact, she's an angry crier, which automatically ends any verbal fights she might get into, either because her opponent is Sanji and he folds instantly at seeing her cry (it's similar for Zoro but not as instantaneous) or because Sanji has come to her defense because the person she's up against made her cry. Generally, Cora has fairly physical reactions to her emotions, as in she shakes heavily if she gets scared and she cries easily. She thinks she's a bit of a crybaby and a weakling, but Sanji will immediately tell her otherwise.
Lily? Oh boy, Lily. Her whole devil fruit is centered around emotions. Not only does it contribute to her being very emotional and having intense mood swings, it also converts her emotions into various effects, such as making the lights flicker, changing the weather, and, most prominently, turning her back into five-year-old when she gets too scared. She doesn't really have an opinion on her emotions, they just... happen.
3. Does your OC cry a lot? Why or why not?
I guess I already answered this, didn't I? Yes, both Cora and Lily cry a lot. For Cora, it's partially because that's just who she is, partially because of trauma, whereas Lily has her devil fruit, her mood swings and her (mental) age to blame.
4. Does your OC talk a lot? Are there things they tend to ramble about?
Cora probably talks a regular amount, but she loves to ramble about fashion. If you want to keep her talking for whatever reason, ask her about fashion, or sewing, or designing... Just anything that has to do with her work as a tailor. She could also talk about her boyfriends for ages if prompted and in the right environment.
Lily does talk a lot. Or rather, she rambles a lot. She's the kind of person who will sit in a car and point at and name not only animals or landmarks you pass but also every car she recognizes or finds odd or funny. She just loves to learn and explore. It's not that she doesn't know how to be quiet. She does! But she's also talkative, so she'll talk if there's no reason for her not to.
5. Are they a romantic?
Cora is definitely a romantic. Not as much as Sanji, but she does love romance, so these two together are a walking romance novel. If you want to impress her, a candlelit dinner with good food and pretty clothes is the perfect way to do it.
Lily is probably a little too young to be a romantic in that sort of sense, but she does romanticize life, in a way. A more or less childish way. She just loves to be alive and to see the world and... Yeah. Does that count?
6. Are they dramatic?
Cora is very dramatic, but only as a joke. She usually swallows her problems until she has to throw them back up, but if she has the chance to annoy Zoro by being dramatic, she'll be dramatic as hell. It gets even funnier if Sanji or someone else plays along. Nami especially is a great ally for weaponizing the drama, second place goes to Usopp.
To be fair, Lily isn't very dramatic. She's just a kid, and Zoro has to constantly remind himself of that if he's about to call her dramatic for crying about him stepping on a bug or something.
7. How would they prefer to die?
Cora would probably like to die quickly and painlessly, but if it has to be long and painful, she'll take it, as long as it helps her friends in any way.
Not at all? Lily doesn't think about dying, she's too busy thinking about how many marshmallows she can fit in her mouth or how quickly she can climb up to the crow's nest. But she'd probably prefer the quick and painless route.
8. What is guaranteed to make them angry?
For Cora, it's pretending to be a member of the Akaito Clan. There are so many fakers out there and she intends to personally commit arson against every single one of them and burn down their bootleg clothes and designs. It's just a huge disrespect to her family, their tradition and their name.
For Lily, I'd say it's hurting her friends that makes her the angriest. Depending on how big and tough the enemy is, she may also be very scared, but if you want to find out the quickest way to have a feral fennec fox biting and clawing at your neck, this is it.
9. What do they get really petty about?
Cora gets extremely petty about the difference between swordfighting and fencing. She is not a swordfighter because she uses a rapier and a rapier is used for fencing. Sworfighting is what Zoro does. You wouldn't be able to start a proper fight between someone using a katana and someone using a rapier. Thus, they must be two separate fighting styles. immaculate logic. Also, sewing and fashion. This color is the color she says it is, not any other.
Lily actually doesn't get petty at all. Or at least not often. She's just happy to be talking. But if you call a Zoan user a Mink or the other way around, you might be in trouble. They're two very different things.
10. What do they identify as?
See, this is why I kept this question that open and didn't limit it to gender identity or sexuality. Makes it a lot easier to answer.
Cora is bisexual and proud, as well as proudly polyamorous. She has two hands, why not use them? She also strongly identifies with her heritage as a member of the Akaito Clan and being a member of the Straw Hat Pirates.
Lily doesn't really think about gender identity or something as weird as sexuality. To be honest, I don't think she has even had sex ed yet. Does she even know what sexuality is? I mean, she knows what sex is, probably, but... Does she know what gender is? Anyways, a huge part of her identity comes from her being a fennec fox mink. Well, half, but she likes to omit that fact. Sometimes, she just refers to herself as simply a fennec fox, as in: "Of course I'm cold! I'm a desert fox, not an Arctic fox!" That's why she also identifies with her epithet. Also, the Straw Hat Pirates. The moment she lies about being a part of their crew is the day that hell freezes over. That's her family right there.
Thank you so much for your ask, Alvita! Have a lovely day <3

I need all the Part 4 questions answered for Cora, thank you very much 🤗❤️
Yeesssss, my beloved Cora! I actually already answered some questions from Part 4 for her, but I'm very excited to dive into the others!
Tumblr media
1. What is your OC's relationship to their family - biological or found?
Well, her biological family is dead, so... But she's incredibly proud of her heritage and honors her family's traditions, and she wants to carry on their legacy to the best of her ability. As for her found family, the Straw Hats... My goodness. She adores Luffy. He's just such a ball of sunshine. Even if she's sometimes put off by his stupidity or his antics, she can't really stay mad at him. Cora is in love with Zoro, even if she doesn't really realize it at first, and Zoro loves her back, even if he's frantically trying to deny it. The mosshead may be very stoic and a bit hard to get through to, but she understands him and gets through to his heart like few others do. She also feels very safe around him because she knows that he would murder anyone who tries to hurt her on the spot. Nami and Cora are fashion besties and they love to gossip. You better not get on their bad side because Nami can be very bitchy and Cora can be very dramatic. As for Usopp, she loves to experiment with him. Her with her dyes and their effects and him with gunpowder and other ammunition ingredients. You'll often see them just chilling and chatting in a corner with their various experiment kits. And Sanji... Oh boy, Sanji... Him and Cora have trauma-bonded on so many levels, but they also have such a sweet and romantic relationship... I'm not gonna talk about future Straw Hats here for spoiler reasons, but there's some cuteness going on there too!
2. Does your OC act differently around different people?
Answered here!
3. Is your OC a good leader? Do they like to lead or do they prefer to follow?
I'd say, yes, she could be a good leader if she managed to be confident about it. She definitely prefers to follow though.
4. Who influenced them the most on their journey?
Answered here!
5. Do they have any siblings?
Not anymore, no. I think she may have had an older half brother or sister (like, significantly older), but they're dead now.
6. Are they more dominant or submissive in their relationships? (Not just sexually if even at all - Do they give in easily? Are they demanding? Are they stubborn?)
At the start of her journey with the Straw Hats, she's definitely more on the submissive side, but she learns to put her foot down as she grows more comfortable around them and with herself. She starts off as a people pleaser but learns to absolutely bicker and be stubborn due to her friends' influence. The constant fighting between Zoro and Sanji and Nami's bitchiness is very inspiring lol
7. What type of friend are they?
Answered here!
8. How loyal are they?
Answered here!
9. How far would they be willing to travel for a loved one? What would it take to convince them?
Pretty far, honestly. The problem is that often doesn't have the appropriate means of travel, so some places are just unreachable for her, but she'll be damned if she doesn't at least try. The more serious the situation is, the more desperate she'll get at trying to get to her loved one by any means necessary.
Thanks so much for your ask! Hope you're having a lovely day! <3

Strings of Fate
Here she is! Animanga!Cora in color!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Once again, huge thanks to Hevis-Swan on DeviantArt for the base!
The left outfit is Cora's outfit at her introduction - as also depicted in my fic! The second is a bit later in the storyline, as shown by the earring and anklet she's wearing - gifts from Zoro and Sanji respectively.
Alright, analysis time:
Tumblr media
I'll be going top to bottom, left to right.
I didn't originally plan for Cora's hair to be that "messy", but I think it's one of the happiest accidents ever.
There it is, the iconic Akaito clan needle. Also the one singular reason that I have three variants of Cora's face here - I wanted the needle to be clearly shown off, so I added the copy of the head with the ponytail first, and then I decided that I wanted a side view too because I wanted to show off how the needle is actually pierced through her ear.
Yes, the earring is Zoro's, as depicted in my fic. I had a bit of a heard time scaling it because Cora is significantly smaller than Zoro.
I actually did some research on why buttons are on opposite sides in women's compared to men's clothes, and, apparently, it's because men would usually put their clothes on themselves and women had others help them. People are most commonly right-handed, so buttons were placed on the right side of the person doing them up. That's why buttons are usually on the left for women and on the right for men. Since Cora definitely does not have people helping her put on her clothes and she most likely makes all of her clothes herself, I decided she would place the buttons on her right side, and thus the left flap would be on top.
Fun story about the wrapped top: I found the reference image on Pinterest, then used it as reference for my description of Cora's outfit in my fic, and then I based my drawing off of both the original image and the fic. Metamorphosis.
YES, the vest. The vest, keeping with Cora's tailoring profession, is based on an actual sewing pattern. I knew I would need a pattern with panels do to OP women's unique body type. One of those panels is clearly visible, and imagine another would have to be beneath the boobs or something, but... since when is OP logical when it comes to clothes? Just look at every instance of a woman wearing a button-up.
Those black lace thingies are sleeve garters! I imagine Cora would probably wear them for practicality reasons. It's pretty much the only really practical thing she wears.
I wanted to draw a reference for the holster for the rapier as well, but there was no more space on the right side and I didn't wanna put it on the left. Also, after drawing that rapier not once but twice, I did NOT wanna do it again. Seriously, drawing that thing is so tedious.

The pouch is honestly a little small, but she keeps a few spare needles and thread in it
The rapier is based off of a REALLY useful swept-hilt rapier reference sheet I found which I'm also gonna use for writing because it has the names for the various parts.
The dark line around the sheath is supposed to be very dark fuchsia thread, aka thread dyed with Cora's blood. I'll get into it in my fic next season of OPLA :)
The embroidery on the scissors holster has a simple stitch pattern, some vines, and the Akaito Clan's family crest
The boot covers are, as I said in my last post, removable. They stitch into the heels. Zoro hates them with a passion because they take so long to button up and you even need a special tool to do it.
The anklet is a gift from Sanji - see the blue glass beads, blue is his color. It features an infinity symbol as a symbol for eternal love and perserverance and a needle as a reference to Cora's profession.

Guess what everyone, I'm back! Time to talk about post-canon Cora and her kids again. Whether that be her biological kids or the ones she's babysitting.
Last time I talked about the context (aka where she'd be raising those kids), how the Straw Hats would turn her pregnancy into a game show, and Zoro and Sanji's different reactions to the possibility of being a father. This time, I'll be touching on how the Sanji/Cora/Zoro family would actually work because there's a whole lot of factors feeding into that, and Cora being a babysitter. Prepare for more fluff!
Tumblr media
First of all, I mentioned at the end of the last part that there's no way that Cora would have just one kid. There's two reasons for that: First of all, if I remember correctly, multiples have a higher chance of their kids being multiples themselves, and one of her boyfriends just so happens to be a multiple. Second of all, I just see Cora as someone who would have a lot of kids. She loves kids and she would love being a mother. If none of her pregnancies go horribly wrong (which they don't - she's in good hands), she's definitely having a lot of kids. Maybe four? I dunno. Depends on how many of her pregnancies turn out to be multiples. But I could see her having three or maybe four pregnancies.
Anyways, did I call Zoro and Sanji her boyfriends just now? I should've called them her husbands, because they are getting married. I honestly don't know who would propose first but I could totally see both Zoro and Sanji proposing at the same time and then bickering about it. She has two hands for two rings, so why not use them? Cora obviously keeps her family name, but Sanji becomes Roronoa Sanji. He claims it's for practical reasons, but he's actually so soft about getting to show off his relationship like that, and he's the worst offender when it comes to slipping "my (shitty) husband" or "my (lovely) wife" into almost every conversation.
So, finally, we get to talk about the kids and the family structure. The whole deal of the Akaito Clan is that you only get to carry the Akaito name if you're a tailor, so only Cora's kids that actually become tailors carry the Akaito name. So, if Cora and Sanji have a daughter named Sora and she becomes a tailor, she'll be called Akaito Sora. If she doesn't, she'll stay Roronoa Sora. Another important thing about the Akaito Clan is that they have the sewing needle pierced through their left ear - and this continues with Cora's kids! BUT because jewelry is generally so important to Cora as a person and is a huge symbolic thing for her relationship with Zoro and Sanji, this also carries over to their kids. So, the swordfighters of the family get a dangly earring on the left side and the ones who use Sanji's kick-based fighting style get an anklet on the right. Any other body part is free reign and the whole family uses that pretty liberally. Let me tell you, the Akaito-Roronoas love their jewelry. Also, this absolutely applies to any of the kids she babysits.
Speaking of kids she babysits, Reina/Pandora Island is basically just Straw Hat daycare/summer camp. I'm very convinced that most of the Straw Hats would not settle down, and they probably either can't or just don't want to take their kids with them. So, they leave them with the only crewmate that actually has settled down - and that's Cora! Also, she probably talks them into doing just that because she cares a lot for the safety of those kids (especially since they'll inevitably become just as reckless as their parents) and she loves taking care of kids. And just like that, the Akaito-Roronoas and the other Straw Hat kids basically grow up as one family on the island of their auntie Cora and become just as close as the Straw Hats are amongst each other.
And while they're there, they get to learn how to cook, how to swordfight with various swords like a rapier, a katana, a freaking longsword (thanks @supermarine-silvally for the idea, I'll touch on it later) etc, how to fight using only their legs, how to sew, crochet, knit... There's so much they can do! Plus, the island is full of fun plants and animals, and I'm willing to bet one of the Straw Hats or their associates (possibly a certain archaeologist) may have opened up a sort of school too. Straw Hat associates get to come to the island too, of course, and the babysitting service is open to them too. Bringing orphans or abandoned kids that you just happened upon on your travels to the island is also allowed. That place is a child's paradise as long as Cora and the Straw Hats have the say there.
They're giving out last names like candy too. "Oh you wanna learn how to sew? You're an Akaito now." "Hey, you're really interested in history? Oh boy do I have a name for you. You prefer medicine? Well guess what I got!" "You like swordfighting? Would you like to share a name with the World's Greatest Swordsman?" "Don't have a last name? Don't like your last name? How would you like to have the name of the King of the Pirates?" Sometimes they invent last names too, sort of like how the Marines give out epithets but they're good traits and are a sign of respect and love.
Currently drawing a blank on anything more to touch on (if you have any questions or thoughts please let me know!) and I don't have any set ideas for any kids right now, so... time to talk about something that @supermarine-silvally and I talked about, and that's the topic of what happens to Mihawk after Zoro beats him:
I say he moves in on Reina/Pandora Island! Well... sort of. He does live there, apparently, but he's more of an island cryptid. Sometimes he's just chilling on the island, sometimes he's giving swordfighting lessons, sometimes he tends to one of the gardens, and sometimes he just straight up disappears for a while because his social battery needs to recharge. The kids love him. They go "Look! That's my grandpa Mihawk!" He's also one of the island's main defense mechanisms. Should anyone dare try to attack the island, Mihawk just appears on his little coffin canoe and slices their entire fleet in half. It's not like Zoro couldn't do that, but he's busy travelling around. Sanji could also absolutely destroy those ships and they wouldn't even see him coming or leaving, but he's busy with his restaurant. Cora could do it, but she prefers taking care of the kids and it's a lot easier for Mihawk to do. Also, he needs enrichment every once in a while because even if he is retired, I can't imagine him as someone who could just quit being a swordsman. He also gets the added bonus of tailor-made clothes from Cora herself because we all know he's a fancy one.
That's it! Hope you enjoyed.
Also, pssst, there's a Cora drawing incoming...

My OCs as Flatmates, Part 2
Includes: Aurelia, Cora, Lily
The One Piece part, for some reason. I swear, I didn't plan for this. If you want to hear these sort of headcanons for some of my other OCs, let me know!
Tumblr media
@marzena-doe and @oneirataxia-girl both asked for...
↬ Aurelia !
I need to make one thing very clear here. You're in her house and she can and will throw you out whenever you get on her nerves too much. It will probably take a long time for her to warm up to you.
One of the best things about living with her is you don't need to worry about money, food or security, and in the World of One Piece, that's a really big advantage. There's hardly a safer space across the seven seas than her home. She'll make sure you have good things to eat and drink, you have nice clothes (because you are not walking around her home in rags) and maybe gift you some jewelry if she's feeling generous. All in all, she's not exactly the most outgoing or affectionate, but if she tolerates you in her home, you might find yourself having dinner with her once in a while, sitting by the fireplace together... all those things.
Another great thing about Aurelia is her vast knowledge about the world and what's happening in it. She's got metaphorical eyes and ears everywhere and knows a lot about all sorts of political or otherwise impactful events. Also, about how the world works in its wacky ways. The seas, the skies, the wildlife, and people themselves... She knows how to fight, too, and might just be the best teacher when it comes to a certain technique based on willpower if you are blessed enough to have it. Generally, you can learn a lot of things from her (and you might just end up being adopted into her circle of poor little meow meows children).

@supermarine-silvally asked for...
↬ Cora !
Cora, my beloved. You're right, Cora is somewhat messy! But only really in her workspace. Her workspace is cluttered as all hell, but she still manages to find anything she needs (because she can summon it with her devil fruit or just sense where it is). Occasionally, she'll also leave some of her projects around the house or something if she was working on them somewhere else, but then the clutter will all be in one pile that you can easily scoop up and move.
Generally, Cora is so freaking considerate. Overly considerate even. She will back away first before trying to reason with you. At least until she gets really comfortable with you. She also knows how to cook, at least somewhat, and she would love to cook with you because it's fun and it's a bonding activity for her. Also! She will definitely make you clothes, whether you ask her or not. At some point, she'll just start sketching designs for you and give you the puppy eyes until you say yes to trying them. She'll also fix your favourite clothes for you. Your favourite shirt has a hole in it? Not anymore! Seam came loose on your jeans? It's back where it used to be. This also extends to stuffed animals if you have those! No questions asked, she'll stitch your favourite teddy back up and make him a cute little jacket to go with it.
She might be a bit anxious about a lot of thinks though. Personal space is definitely one thing, but she might also want to roughly know when you go out and get back, just so she has a vague idea of when you're at home and when she'll be alone. Also, she might bring some of the Straw Hats over occasionally if you're okay with it. She lets Luffy come over once and never again but the others might be there a bit more often. Especially her boyfriends. She asks them for help with chores sometimes or shows them her designs. It's really adorable.
Tumblr media
@oneirataxia-girl also asked for...
↬ Lily !
Why are you living with a child? Who knows, but you're a parent now. Sorry, I don't make the rules. You have to understand that, if you're living with Lily, you're gonna have to do at least some parenting. This is a child with strong mood swings and very little experience in the world outside of ships and mansions, so you're gonna have to teach her some things and take care of her.
But, that aside, she's really nice! She's considerate (or at least she tries), she loves to do pretty much any activity with you, she doesn't mind doing the chores... Also, if you're someone who likes cuddles, she's got you. She loves them. And she's got soft, big ears and a tail... I also imagine she's naturally pretty warm.
Emotions-wise, Lily is usually pretty cheerful, but she's not really the best at comforting you when you're down. She might show up to your room with some hot chocolate instead.
She's definitely messy. Not because she doesn't care but because she forgets. You'll have to remind her to do the dishes every once in a while or she'll forget the laundry, but she's trying. She's definitely trying. But she's also very easily distracted by literally anything. Also... don't expect her to be too good at running errands, at least not in the groceries department. Do not let her into a grocery store on her own, she will come back with more sweets than intended and maybe even a toy or soemhing. Give her a list and she'll hopefully get everything you need though.
If you're ever overwhelmed with her, call Sanji. Or one of the other responsible Straw Hats (i.e. not Luffy). They'll figure things out.
Tumblr media
So yeah, that's it for part 2! Hope you enjoy! :)
Also I do not have the time to proofread this, please forgive me. My mind is mashed potatoes.

📏cora
AAAAAAAAH my girl Cora!
Get ready, because this is adorable. Cora is small. She's the shortest out of the (OPLA) crew. Graphics are made with this website, as per usual :)
Tumblr media
As you can see, she's the shortest by quite a bit! Also, I love how OPLA!Sanji is noticably taller than OPLA!Zoro. Can't wait for him to tease the mosshead about it. For even better comparison, here's Cora directly next to her boyfriends.
Tumblr media
The "stealing your boyfriend's clothes" potential is huge! Both of them just love when Cora wears a shirt or jacket of theirs, even though she rarely does it. She prefers well-tailored, fitted clothes but she definitely won't say no to getting to wear something of theirs when there's an opportunity. The opportunity is usually that it's even slightly cold or windy. Especially Sanji seems to have The Flash level senses when it comes to taking off his jacket and throwing it around her shoulders when she looks like she's even slightly cold.
