The dragon queen looks up from where she'd been absentmindedly cleaning beneath a claw, wickedly sharp and black. Eyes the color of acid twinkle in amusement and her lips, painted dark, twist into a smile that could almost be deemed 'affectionate.'

"Oh, Valerius. Vali. You wish to know my opinions on dear Valerius? I assume gossip has spread about our previous trysts...", she grins devilishly. "Why else would you be asking about him and I?"

A low hum reverberates from somewhere deep in her chest. "He is a prime specimen, what more can I say? He is a gentleman and a predator in one. His education is pedigree as his lineage. His physique... his body...", she clicks her tongue. "And his vicious wit is one of the few to match my own, same as his hunger."

She chuckles.

"I suppose that's the reason we keep a... healthy... distance between us these days. I respect him immensely, for all that he has accomplished and all he is capable of, but we both know ours is a hunger for dominance that wouldn't stop short of each others. We are simply two flames that'd only consume one another rather than make one greater pyre. His current chosen wife suits him much better in that regard with her... more humble aspirations." She says this with clear contempt. "Though it is nice to see him no longer moping about the place like a sad pup left out in the rain. It was an embarrassment."

A few seconds pass as she thinks, then rolls her eyes.

"Speaking of capabilities. there is very little I despise more than wasted potential, and dear Vali is capable of so much more than he's found himself content with in the moment. It's a shame, truly, but at least it keeps him from becoming a concern in my own personal politics. I need not worry about what threat he poses to Vyrdraig, so long as he continues being so devoted to that goddess of his... and his bloodthirsty flower."

"And, well...", she taps a claw against her lips. "My own pet keeps a close enough eye on them when he goes to visit Drezen. I suppose I should thank them for agreeing to these little 'exchanges' he proposed. It really has brightened up Maegar's mood since we haven't had crisis after crisis to keep him entertained."

After spending HOURS in character creator I accidentally chose a name for my character that is apparently very close to his famoly name 🤦🏾‍♂️ So he is Valerius von Valancius which is so silly, but at least it's not Theodorus which is what I almost named him. Considering the person he's been talking to for the past while and has never even met is named Theodora von Valancius... lucky save!

The two names I narrowed it down to were pretty much the two worst possible choices 😆 I think I'll stick with Valerius though, I don't wanna restart and I like the name on its own.

Jokes aside, Valerius is a refined gentleman and Mino welcomes the challenge for a respected adversary such as him. What better excuse to get dressed up than an evening outing? The two of them have tickets to the the Westcrown opera house tonight and dinner afterwards :)

Top: Since you will be accompanying Mino this evening and she prefers blues, you will also be in a nice array of blues and silvers. One would expect to share in the colors of the country you are visiting, but Mino would rather burn a red and black ensemble than be seen accompanying someone wearing it. She's complimenting your signature style with this top: a plunging neckline flowing ruffles and puffy sleeves. The blue will look dashing with your platinum blonde locks, too! Tying it together is a corset-style belt to give you a high-waisted look that'll bring a sense of order to the flowiness of the top. The black, weathered leather calls to the leather scourges she knows you're comfortable wielding, as a little homage to your faith...

Bottoms: Rather than get that typical angular framing like you would on your overcoat, Mino is suggesting a bit more of an... avant-garde look, with these asymmetrical panel drop pants. Paired with the corset belt and flowing top, you'll have a stunning profile: tight enough to hug your lean-muscled legs but more interesting than just typical, well, tights.

Shoes: Easy - knee-length leather boots with laces. What else to go with such tight leggings? Mino would prefer to find a pair with silver embroidery or blue-leather accents, but is unable to find any! Oh well, this is suitable.

Hair/Hat: Don't worry Vali, Mino knows how important your hair is to you. Getting it chopped off in the Battlebliss was harrowing and she won't risk doing anything that may elicit such feelings. Instead, she humbly presents this pin with dragon embellishment to hold your hair back if you wish for the evening. The dragon is the conqueror of beasts: ruthless and intelligent; and the red gem at the end looks much like a droplet of blood. It'll look most lovely in your blonde tresses, and can be easily removed and stowed away for comfort's sake.

Other Accessories: What COULDN'T Vali rock as an accessory? Impossible to say, really. Well, these two Mino is convinced will be stunning on him. This wrap-style ear accessory with leathery wings evocative of a bat will call to his dhampir heritage - a cold reminder. Meanwhile, this clawed ensemble she insists be only on one hand. She wouldn't want hide your perfect manicure and polish, but on your non-dominant hand? Just imagine his hand wearing this, wrapped around a crimson filled goblet of wine? Exactly.
