ODINFALL gives you a chance to sign-up to play

ODINFALL roguelite twin-stick shooter game for the Linux Steam Deck and Windows PC kicks off Closed Alpha sign-up. Which is the result of the work and effort from developer Ember Paw Games. Working to make its way onto Steam. Ragnarok was just the beginning… of the end. Ember Paw Games are eager to announce ODINFALL. This is a Viking-themed, roguelite twin-stick shooter, launching on Steam Early Access this summer. While now getting ready for a Closed Alpha kicking off the frag action on April 10th. Sign-up now for guaranteed access.

Odinfall is being made in GameMaker Studio 2, which makes it quite easy to build for different platforms and OS.

While a native Linux build is being teased, there is hope. According to the Ember Paw email reply, they cannot 100% confirm Linux yet. Since the dev's have not setup a test setting. GameMaker Studio 2 does offer Ubuntu support, but may or may not be viable for other distro's. As a result, the developers do confirm Steam Deck success via Proton. Meaning, the coming Closed Alpha is very likely to be playable via Proton. But, the developer is "very optimistic that Linux will happen."
