I found this on eBay last week and fell in love. I have been drooling over it for a few days, and counted the coins in my purse. And now it is min.
It was listed as a Ohikizuri. I know it is not for a bride because of the short sleeves. So I am left to wonder: Geisha or stage performer. I think it is a bit too decorated for Geisha, so my guess is that this is for some kind of stage performance. If anyone can enlighten me as to whom would have worn it, please do so.

December 2017: maiko Fumiyuki showing her unsigned maneki kanzashi (source). In early December, all of Kyoto’s maiko (and some geiko) go to the Minamiza theater for special performances of kabuki plays, and after the show maiko ask their favorite actors to sign the miniature maneki boards on their kanzashi. Large maneki boards hang on the outside of the theater with the names of the performing actors.
