Greetings, Mr. King. This is @shimazu-akira from the Osaka Continental. I am not up to date with everything happening on your side because I'm busy, but I hope London is doing well.
Ah, Ms. Shimazu I do hope your side of the world is also doing well. I’ve heard Osaka’s gone through…. A multitude of things from what my staff has been saying nowadays. But yes, there is nothing much going on other than the investigation of Mr. Shikalov earlier this morning.

‘John Wick 4’ Star Hiroyuki Sanada Teases His FX Series ‘Shogun,’ His First as a Lead: ‘I Feel Reborn’
Link to the article (x)
Japan’s Hiroyuki Sanada has become one of Hollywood’s most familiar Asian actors, with action roles in franchises like “Mortal Kombat,” “Avengers: Endgame” and now “John Wick 4,” as well as nuanced character turns in “Minamata” and “The Railway Man.”
“John Wick” star Keanu Reeves and director Chad Stahelski created a role especially for Sanada so that he could join the action-packed universe. But it is the upcoming “Shogun” series for FX and Hulu that has given the Hollywood-based Sanada a new calling.
What do you like most about your part in ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’?
There’s a scene between John Wick and my character Shimazu Koji, up on the roof top where the two old friends are drinking whiskey. Just talking. Talking, not fighting. That’s a very rare thing in this movie. It created atmosphere and established their chemistry.
As an action franchise, “John Wick” is pretty intense. Were you ready for that?
Before he created “John Wick” and at the end of “47 Ronin” [in which Reeves and Sanada co-starred] Keanu told me that his next project was a big action movie with Chad [Stahelski]. I said “good luck” and watched the whole series in the movie theater. Finally, Chad called me and said he’d created a role for me, as an old friend of John Wick. I was so excited, this time I said, “I’ll see you on set.” It was a quick decision. I’d been following all of Keanu’s jobs. And I was really happy to be reunited with Keanu and Chad, the stunt guys and the choreographer. It was like a dream come true.
As a Japanese actor in Hollywood, do you have to audition much?
These days, luckily, I mostly get offered roles. But, of course, for many years before that I had to audition. Lately, I read the script, talk with the director and if we see that we have the same goals, I’ll jump in.
I think I used to be a workaholic, especially when I was living in Japan. No official holidays in the year, working almost every day. I loved it. But when I moved to L.A. in 2005, it was harder for me to get roles. And I had more free time. It had never happened before. But I also realized that I needed that time, because working in the U.S. was much harder than working in Japanese in Japan. I started taking English lessons, then doing auditions and lots of meetings. I had to concentrate. I was tense. So, I needed the relaxing time in between and have now found a good work-life balance. I have an exciting job and a peaceful life. California is perfect for me. It has cities, great restaurants, the ocean and mountains. Plus, there is a big entertainment industry here.
Many of the roles you’ve taken — “Minamata,” “The Railway Man,” “Bullet Train” — speak about Japanese culture — but are not necessarily made by Japanese filmmakers. Do you worry that they are inaccurate or they’re Western-skewed interpretations of Japanese society?
Some themes are considered too sensitive or delicate that Japanese filmmakers will not touch them. In that case, if it is an important theme, having a Western filmmaker do it is welcome. I say, “Thank you for making this movie and bringing the story to the world.” I always take this stance. But if they are getting things culturally incorrect, then I have to say something. I have to fix it. I’ve found directors and producers have always listened respectfully to my suggestions and that has never been awkward on set. In “Minamata” [where the subject is an industrial-scale poisoning] the director [Andrew Levitas] asked me to consult on the set design and the costumes of the extras. I was on set every day, often before the director, checking things. I didn’t have any official title, but they listened to me. Since then, I’ve been doing that for every movie. And, last year, finally, I got the title of the producer of a show.
You are referring to “Shogun” — a series based on another Western-written book about Japan — in which you play feudal Lord Toranaga
Yes. I discussed these things a lot with Justin Marks [co-writer and executive producer] about how to make it work for today’s audiences and still be authentic. But, for the first time I had the right, officially, to say something. We hired Japanese cast and crew, who have a long career in samurai movies. Costumers, wig specialists and set designers. On “Shogun,” I had a team. Before that, I was always just one person struggling with this responsibility on my shoulders. That said, I really enjoyed it. Making better movies is my dream. Now finally, after 20 years [in the U.S.], I’ve got the title and the team. It is a big step for me. First time as a producer, first time as a leading man in a Hollywood show. I feel reborn. And I hope that there will be more occasions when I can be actor or producer, or both.
How is the production of “Shogun” going?
It went well. It was so dramatic and meaningful. Everyone understood that we were taking on a big, big challenge. But it was worth working hard to create the future. It was a great feeling: East meets West without any walls between us.
Although they operate on different scales, are there things that Hollywood can learn from the Japanese film industry?
The styles are a little different. And it is true that Japanese movies have almost no budget. So, we have to calculate and schedule everything very tightly. I don’t know if that is a good thing or not. Having a highly skilled crew certainly is. I’d like to see more mix between East and West. Bigger budgets, protected by unions, but also working to a schedule.
What are your plans going forward?
After finishing the post-production of “Shogun”, I will join my next project in June or July. A movie, but I cannot disclose the title just yet. I won’t be producer on that, but I plan to produce again in the future.
I mean, this is what Sanada truly deserves; being a leading man in Hollywood. he has more than enough experience, gravitas, and talent to do so, and I am stoked and extremely exhilarated (to an almost unparalleled extent) to see how Shogun unfolds. I finished reading the book while ago, and it is an excellent piece of literature, and Lord Toranaga is such a complex, intricate, multifaceted protagonist.

Anyway, in all seriousness, I really loved the set and costumes. I always love the set and costumes in most things, because I did costume design for a while, but I loved the Marquis’ costumes! The fabric looked really thick and rich, which totally suited the character, but it wasn’t too garish. Loved it!

Fate Intervenes
Akira x Wick!Reader
For @morbiusmarauder
Tumblr media
The Osaka Continental was under siege. You and your father John Wick, in one of the rare instances, were in the same place at the same time. You were just hoping for a moment of peace with your father but of course, there's no peace with being a Wick.
You and John separated during the fight. You stayed with Akira and Shimazu. You shared little looks of concern with Akira as Shimazu hobbled along.
You exchanged fire with a couple more thugs from the High Table. Akira pulled along her father, "Father we must go"
Shimazu, a man who had been like family to you, clutched his side and shown red on his palm. Akira's eyes locked with yours, pleading.
"We'll get you out of here, sir" you promised as you began the trek down the back way of the Continental.
"Where did he go?" the blind assassin asks the three of you as he blocks the way.
"Caine" you huff, "Shimazu's wounded. Let us pass"
"I can't do that" Caine answers back, "do you know the price of family?"
"They threaten your daughter?" You ask. Akira looks to you and then to Caine in shock.
"Yes." Caine remarks, tapping his sword on the ground. "The one good thing in my life."
"Such is life" you huff. Shizamu takes a stand and readies his sword.
"Let the young ones pass" the older man begs his former friend. "I only speak as a father to another father"
"Please don't do this" Caine's mouth shows a deep frown, one that's bathed in regret as he readies his own sword.
"Sir" you approach Shizamu, "please we'll find another-"
"Protect your family...and mine" Shizamu looks to you, begging you to guide Akira to safety. A little more blood leaks from his wound.
"I am" you answer back before raising your side arm and shooting Caine in the neck. A small dart hits him a split second later.
"They can't hold that against your daughter, Caine." you smirk.
"Be seeing you" Caine smiles as he collapses to the asphalt.
'Be seeing you" you answer back as you grab ahold of Shizamu and limp past the knocked out Caine.
"You keep tranquilizer darts on you?" Akira looks at you concerned.
"Figured they send Caine after my Dad," you admit, "always be prepared for little to no collateral damage"
You load Shizamu into a jeep, Akira jumps in the passenger seat, "I owe you"
"You owe me nothing." you state as you speed out of the Continental. "Gotta get your father some place safe."
"Not that I am not grateful, young Wick" Shizamu winces from the pain, "but that was not exactly honorable."
"I don't think the Marquis de Gramont cares about honor, sir" you answer back as you hold up one of his goon's pins.
"High Table?" Akira readies her own gun
"Some french stooge trying to make a name for himself within the ranks of it." you retort.
"Your father will need your aid." Shizamu speaks up, "both of you" he gestures to you and Akira.
"What do you say, ma'am?" you smile at Akira, "truce?"
"Truce" she smiles back. A small smile made it's way across Shizamu's face.
You'd eventually get Shizamu to the medical attention that he needed. As for you and Akira, the two of you set out to locate Jonathan Wick. The Baba Yaga was going to need all the help he could get.

Imagine Helping Koji Relax After Stress Catches Up With Him
Tumblr media
Koji Shimazu X FemReader
Rating: T
Warnings: Suggestive themes
Word Count: 1.5k
(A/N:) I just love Koji and it’s crazy how little fanfics there are of him! He is one of my favorite characters in the whole franchise and I wrote this as a total indulgence for myself! But I want to put it here so my fellow fangirls can enjoy it with me! Until next time happy reading! ~Countess
Running The Continental of Osaka was stressful to say the least. Koji didn’t seem to have one moment of peace before he was being called away to take care of some guest or any problems that arose. It was a rarity that you both got even a second to see one another. And most nights were quick bites to eat before falling asleep quickly from sheer exhaustion. Sometimes you wondered if the life you both lead as assassins was easier than running this hotel. Every day that passed, you could tell Koji’s physical and mental state was draining further and further. You worried about him constantly and despite not being as busy as Koji, you were still pretty busy where you couldn’t find the time to take some of the load off of him. It wasn’t until last night that Koji came into your shared room and collapsed in a chair and fell directly to sleep did you decide now was the time. He had pushed himself over the limit for far too long and you weren’t going to let him continue on until he pushed himself into a place where he couldn’t recover.
While you helped Koji out of some of the layers of clothing, to make him more comfortable, you stifled a yawn before taking the elevator to go find Akira. You could tell the young woman was worried about her father, especially when she saw the grave expression on your face.
“Is he okay,” she asked as soon as you both were far away from anyone that could overhear your conversation.
You nodded, “He’s exhausted. He can’t keep going on like this.”
“I’ve tried getting him to hand over some tasks to me,” Akira sighed. “I’m afraid he doesn’t trust me.”
You shook your head, taking her hand in yours, “That’s not the reason. You already work so hard Akira and your father loves you. He doesn’t want to overwhelm you or put more on you than you need.”
“He can’t keep doing everything by himself,” she whispered.
“I agree. Think you can do the best you can tomorrow and hold down the fort? Give Koji some time to recover and relax?”
Akira nodded eagerly, “Of course. Please take care of him.”
“You have my word. He’ll be refreshed and back at it before you know it.”
Giving the young woman a quick hug, you made your way back up to Koji. He still slept away in the armchair, unaware that you had left. He would most likely pay for the horrible sleeping arrangement in the morning, but you didn’t have the heart to wake him as he snored a little. Carefully trying to make him as comfortable as possible, without waking him, you left Koji to sleep while you crawled into the bed. You fell asleep with plans running through your head to give him the relaxation he deserved.
In the morning, Koji woke to the sounds of the tub running in the bathroom and the smell of freshly cooked breakfast wafting in the room. But when he tried to move, his neck had a horrible crick and his back protested loudly. He groaned, gaining your attention from the bathroom. You had your sleeves rolled up as you strolled casually up to the man you love.
“Rough night,” you purred.
“I feel like I slept in a hard chair all night,” he groaned.
You kissed his forehead, “That’s because you did. Blame last night you for passing out there instead of our comfy plush bed.”
He glared as you pulled on his arm, causing his joints to crack. But with some effort you had him standing and lead him into the bathroom where the water still ran, fogging up the mirrors with the steam, and the smell of jasmine wafting in the air. Koji breathed in deeply before you walked over to shut off the water.
“Get in the tub Koji Shimazu today is your pampering day,” you declared.
“I don’t have time to be pampered today,” he protested while stripping off the rest of his robe.
“Already taken care of. Akira is more than happy to help run the hotel today by herself,” you replied folding a towel before bringing a tea glass back from the cart. Koji’s favorite, as you set it down on the tub’s rim while he eased himself down into the hot water.
“She can’t do everything by herself,” Koji protested until he sighed in pleasure as the hot water eased his tense and sore muscles.
“Koji,” you protested, “you have taught that girl everything. Have faith in your daughter. You’ve been pushing yourself too much and I will not watch you go one more day on the verge of a collapse that you could possibly not recover from. So believe in your daughter, enjoy some relaxation, and shut up and drink your tea.”
He chuckled deeply, taking a quick sip from his cup, “Yes ma’am.”
“Thank you.” You leaned over giving him a quick peck before grabbing his hair products. Massaging his scalp and working the shampoo into his hair, Koji relaxed further, becoming limp and allowing himself to be worked on. After soaking long enough, you lead him to the bed where you gave him a massage and helped brush his hair. Laying out a change of clothes as he took a quick nap, you let him rest for as long as he wanted before you both were to make your way out into the town of Osaka.
With your hands intertwined, Koji lead the way as you let yourself be taken wherever he liked. This was all about him and you were just happy to spend any time you could with him. It had been so long since you gotten to have any calm moments with him. With the bustle of people surrounding you both Koji would bring you closer to his side, even going to wrap an arm around your shoulders if he felt like anyone particular was a threat. He wanted to shop for a few things before stopping at his favorite cafe for lunch. Now as he carried a few bags, one of them yours, he refused to let you carry it as he held on tighter to your hand. Always the gentleman as you kissed his cheek. After lunch you could tell he was getting tired and a little anxious. So you agreed that heading back to The Continental would be okay.
Akira gave you both a thumbs up while you made your way through the lobby. Koji waved and you returned the gesture. Koji just smiled while watching his two favorite girls. He chuckled when you stuck your tongue out at him and he retaliated by kissing you deeply while you were both in the private elevator. Back in the room, Koji put everything up before leading you to the soft, freshly made bed. Thinking he wanted to rest more, you instantly protested when Koji began to massage your neck.
“This is all about you today,” you tried to get away but he wasn’t having it.
“Let me spoil you,” he murmured. “Just for a moment.”
Defeated by the pleasure of his calloused digits rubbing out horrible knots in your neck. You sighed easing back into Koji’s chest. He took his time as he was thankful to have you. Everything you did was for his and his daughter’s benefit. He didn’t know what he did in this life to deserve someone who cared so deeply for him or the perfect daughter who was shouldering the load for the day. But he hoped in his next life he could be as lucky to find you again. Your breathing began to slow and you leaned in more on Koji. He stopped his motions to nibble gently at your neck.
“Thank you for everything,” he whispered before brushing your hair aside to have more access to your warm skin.
“You’re welcome,” you purred. “I hope you feel more rested. You deserve it Koji.”
“Well since I will be back to work tomorrow, it’s my turn to spoil you.”
“Not too much,” you warned not wanting him to give up all the work you put in just to return the favor.
“I won’t,” he agreed.
You were putty in his hands as Koji spoiled you for the rest of the evening. And though you didn’t want your time together to end, the sun set quickly and with a quick meal brought up by one of his most trusted people. It didn’t take long before you and Koji were asleep in each other’s arms. Ready to tackle any problems together and run the hotel to the best of your ability. Koji could admit to himself that he would like to take more days like this and with his daughter at the helm he didn’t have to worry about anything. So he held on to you tightly, your scent filling his senses and easing him into a deep restful slumber.

Guide to Asks
OOC: Hi, this is a message from the original blogger.
I've heard that the way I've acted on this blog is causing some confusion, so I hope to clear this up by saying whatever I post on this rp account is as close to how I think Akira will act in canon, while also being respectful.
I don't usually tag my posts OOC because it wasn't OOC.
My inbox is always open if you had any questions.
Please specify "OOC" in your ask if you want to clarify about anything out of universe/canon. Otherwise, I will answer as how Akira would answer in canon.
That's all from me. Thanks for staying with me and putting up with all the drama I started, hahaha. I hope you guys have an enjoyable time here.

Rating all John Wick single parents because I can :P
Tagging @evren-sadwrn @tobytheeggo @saengak @chaoticgardenbread :D
The number one spot on the list goes to...
Tumblr media
Koji Shimazu!!! Easy 5/5
He easily takes the first spot. I mean, just look at his interactions with his daughter.
Koji had a loving relationship with Akira. They ran the Osaka Continental together, and they have these little inside jokes about "the Concierge/Koji's daughter". The way they switched between Japanese and English when talking, as bilingual families do. And the moment where Koji told Akira that he looked forward to dinner with his daughter is just the sweetest.
The only mistake Koji probably made was him sacrificing his life in the duel with Caine when he could have escaped alongside Akira. He thought this was the only way to protect his daughter, but who is to say the High Table wouldn't chase after Akira regardless if he's dead or not, but admittedly there was a lot of nuance to this situation that there was no better or worse decision to make at this critical moment as a parent.
Number two on my list goes to...
Tumblr media
Sofia!!! 4/5
I was initially divided between her or Caine for this spot, but I decided on Sofia because it is explicitly shown in JW3 that she was present in her (unnamed) daughter's life early on, and only had to separate herself from her child and keep her in hiding in order to keep her daughter safe from potential enemies, something that kept Sofia haunted for the rest of her life.
"Sometimes, you gotta kill what you love." Also, Sofia keeping photos of her and her daughter in her office makes me sad.
Alright, as you might expect, number three on the list is none other than...
Tumblr media
Caine!!! 4/5
The reason Caine is number three is that there aren't exactly many details on the relationship between Caine and his daughter. In fact, we aren't even sure whether Mia knew of her father at all. All we know is that Caine had a picture of Mia on his pocket watch, and the most he could ever come close to seeing his daughter is hearing her play the violin on the streets from afar.
Despite there being a high possibility that Caine was totally absent in Mia's life, Caine obviously loved his daughter very much, so much so that he wanted to leave the life of an assassin because of her, and was very pained by the fact that he couldn't get close to her due to the deal he made with the Marquis.
Now, the number four place on this list goes to...
Tumblr media
The Director. 3/5
Despite her taking Jardani in as a child and raising him in the Ruska Roma, John Wick had a strained relationship with his mother figure.
Her parenting style is very strict and cruel, even cold-hearted, but she believed it was for the best. After all, she was raising a whole lot of children under the Ruska Roma by herself to become hitmen and assassins. The Director's treatment towards her children may not be ideal, but it didn't mean she didn't care for them.
The number five and final place goes to...
Tumblr media
Viggo Tarasov. 3/5
Don't get me wrong, I don't think that he doesn't love Iosef as much as the other parents do on this list. It's just that his biggest mistake was that he never told his son about John Wick before.
Viggo probably spoiled his son very much, and while he wasn't afraid of physically punching Iosef in the guts for making a giant stupid mistake, he never once corrected Iosef's larger personal issues like his arrogance and violent tendencies. Looking at the person Iosef turned out to be, I personally think there is a certain degree of carelessness when Viggo raised his son.
Before we end, our (un)honorable mention goes to...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Head of the d'Antonio family, aka Gianna's and Santino's father. 2.5/5
This is all just speculation since we have zero idea what this man looked like or how he runs his family (while there's no mention of a mother, we don't know whether the big old man single-handedly raised his two children), but the fact that Santino wanted to kill his sister out of jealousy after their father died is very telling of the family environment the d'Antonios lived in.
Because they were a criminal family who was one of the members of the High Table, it's very likely that this kind of toxic behaviour between family members was encouraged. Whatever genuine love or bond between Santino and Gianna would have been squashed by their father in one way or another.

Chapter 2: The Battle Of Osaka Continental
JW 1 Masterlist
JW 2 Masterlist
JW 3 Masterlist
JW 4 Masterlist
The three of them clink their glasses together and begin to drink. "You want to die? That's your choice. A good death only comes after a good life." Shimazu said. "You and I left a good life behind a long time ago, my friend." John said and Shimazu takes a sip of his drink then looks over at them. "But what of your wife?" He asked and (y/n) looks down at the cup in her hand.
She let's out a small scoff and shakes her head. "I believe my good life was taken from me the moment I was kidnapped. It was only a few months ago but...feels like a lifetime ago. I'm not even sure...if I'm that same woman." She responded and John places his left hand on her leg. Even after she already forgiven him, he still feels responsible for everything that's happened to them. He would give anything to go back to that life, back when she was innocent and had no idea about this world.
"Father, The High Table." Akira exclaimed as she ran but stopped when she sees John and (y/n). "What are they doing here?" She asked, angrily. "Mr and Mrs Wick are our guests." Shimazu said and Akira glares at her father. "Father..." she growls. "I'll talk to them. They don't know you two are here." Shimazu said as he gets up from his chair and walks around.
"Please." Akira pleads to him as he walks up to her and she grabs his wrist. "Stay with Mr and Mrs Wick." Shizuma said and he walks away and Akira gives a pleading look to her father then turns to the couple and glares at them, like this was all of their fault.
She then looks down and shakes her head after a few moments of silence. "You and your wife have no right to be here. If they find you two here, The Table will kill my father, me, everyone because you broke the rules." Akira said then she looks up at them. "You two shouldn't have come." She said, a firm tone.
"I know my words mean nothing but...both my husband and I are very sorry. We just wanted to be left alone." (Y/n) said and Akira stares at her until a man, carrying a bow, walks up, bows then leans over to Akira.
"The hotel is being attacked." He tells her. She glares over at the couple then takes off her robes, revealing am armored body suit. "You two armed?" She asked them as she takes the bow out of the man's hand.
John and (y/n) pull out their handguns when the man is shot and killed. John and (y/n) fire a few shots as a group of armored men come up. The couple and Akira take cover and Akira nods to some nearby men and they begin to fire arrows at the men, killing two of them.
She runs out, jumps on one man, shoots him in the head with an arrow then goes to attack while John and (y/n) go and shoot a few armored men. John jumps on one man, flips him around and shoots him the head before shooting another man while (y/n) ducks from some bullets.
She gets down close the one of the armored me, wraps her legs around the man's leg and turns over, knocking the man down before shooting him in the head. They take down the remaining men before they meet up with Akira and the remaining members of her guards. "Let's go." She said. "Hai." One of the archers said and they all run towards the hotel.
Once inside, they were immediately attacked and they started shooting at the men. They make it to the escalators and one guard tried to attack John but (y/n) was able to take him down as she grabbed the man, shot him and threw him down the escalators.
John and (y/n) shot a few more men but would fight hand to hand to anyone that got close. Akira was also taking dien some men in her own as a few men in suits started to come in and fight. One big guy try to fight Akira but she was so quick he was unable to keep up and she stabbed him several times in the legs.
He tried to crawl away from her but she stabbed him in the back as she crawled up on him until he finally died. She gets off of him and walks down the steps when she was shot in her side. "Akira!" Shimazu shouts as he comes running in the room, kills a couple of men then runs to his daughter, not seeing some men coming up behind him.
But John and (y/n) make their way to him and shoot the men. "Can you stand?" Shimazu asked Akira as he places her arm around his shoulder and helps her up. He then turns to John and (y/n) as they walk up to them.
"Get out the way you came. Go to the Umeda Station." Shimazu said. "We'll stay." John said. "Don't insult my gift to you." Shimazu said and they share a look before John nods. "And, John, do me a small courtesy. Kill as many as you can." Shimazu said as he raise a fist to John, who fist bumped him. Then John takes his wife's hand and they run as Shimazu helps his daughter to run in the opposite direction.
John and (y/n) make it to the museum area that was blinking white-blue lights and lean up against a wall. The two reload their guns then they share a look before (y/n) nods at her husband and they walk out from behind the wall and see more armed men coming and they start to shoot.
They run along the room and fire their guns at the men 'til they get into the middle of the room and just either shoot them or punch and kick at them. At one point, John ran out of bullets and threw his gun at one man and grabs at another man to pull his gun put of his hand and uses it.
(Y/n) punched and kicked at one man then used her knife bracelet to stab him in the neck. She takes his gun as he falls over and John takes another gun and shoots at the men that were on the ground, making sure they were dead.
The two started to walk when a large man in a suit grabs at (y/n) and punches her across the face, making her fall to the side. John goes to shoot at the man but he knocks the gun out of John's hand and they start to fight while (y/n) shakes her head, getting out of her daze.
The man then grabs John and tosses him against a glass case that held Nunchucks inside. John notices them and grabs them while (y/n) goes to attack the man when another suited man comes up and grabs her.
She slams the back of her head against the man's face as John gets up and hits the first man's face with the nunchucks, repeatedly. The second man that held onto (y/n) lets her go as he cups his nose and she lands on her feet, pulls out her knife bracelet and goes to stab him with it.
He does his best to block her but she was able to slice at him. Finally, she stabs him in the stomach then the chest, several times while John was able to grab a gun and shoots the guy he was fighting then the one she was fighting. (Y/n) sighs and looks to see if the dead man had a gun and takes it.
"Alright?" John asked her and she nods and they start to walk out when more gunfire sounds out. They fire back then they take cover behind some glass cases. They peak out from the edges of the cases and fire then John goes to one man and hits him in the leg with the nunchucks then his crotch.
They fight as (y/n) goes to the second man, jumps on him and swings around to get on his back. He tries to grab at her but she moves away from his hands as she stabs him in the back with several quick movements. The man yells in pain and falls to his knees before (y/n) pulls out the gun and shoots him in the back of the head.
John was able to knock his guy down and shoots him in the head as well. He places the nunchucks around his neck and (y/n) gets up and they start to walk when some armored men come in and fire at them.
John and (y/n) get behind a wall of painted glass and John takes the nunchucks off of his neck and gets into position. One of the armed men comes around, aiming his assault rifle, when John pops out and uses the nunchucks to pull the rifle out of his hand and shoots him then another guy.
The couple go around the wall and John fires through the glass at another armored man. (Y/n) hears footsteps behind her and she turns and fires her gun at them, killing one.while the second one comes up. John turns and goes to fire his rifle but found out he was out of bullets and he threw the gun at him before he goes to fight.
It seemed never ending as the couple would just punch, kick, shoot, or hit these men with nunchucks whenever they would come. But John and (y/n) were able to hold their own as they fought their way through these waves of men until finally John took down the last man then fell to his feet in exhaustion.
"John?" (Y/n) said, worried, as she kneels down next to him. "I'm fine." He whispers back to her as he takes a breath. Then she helps him up to his feet when they heard footsteps.
They look over and see an Asian man in a suit and sunglasses walking up to them, using a cane to run across the surface of the case. This was Caine. "John?" He calls out as he walks up to John, who seemed surprised to see him. "Caine." John said, a bit stunned, and Caine stops and stands a few feet in front of him.
"They gave you my name." John said, questioningly. "Yeah. And your wife's." Caine replied and (y/n) gasped, quietly, at this. "I'm sorry." John tells Caine. "Me too." Caine said before he fires his gun around and John grabs (y/n) and they run and hide.
Caine raises his cane and holds it in front of him as John and (y/n) duck down behind a wall. (Y/n) looks over to her left and sees a dead guard with a gun held in his hand. She takes it then hands it to John and he begins to look it over, seeing if it was loaded.
"You should have stayed out. For all our sakes." Caine calls out and John looks over at (y/n). "I tried." He replied and (y/n) gives him a sympathetic look. "Did you?" Caine asked as John grabs a nearby samurai sword and holds it in his left hand and the gun in his right hand.
He turns back to his wife and mouths the words stay here before he gets up. And before Caine could come around the corner, John goes to attack him with the sword but Caine was able to block it with his cane.
The two sword fight for a bit while also firing bullets at each other, but missing. Caine then pulls off the cover of his cane, revealing a sword, and the two swing swords at each other. John then ducks from a swing then goes to hide behind another wall of glass.
While they were firing guns, (y/n) was able to get up and run for a different cover in case things got bad. She could tell by the way Caine was fighting that he was blind and she knew even if this guy was a good assassin like John, there was still a good chance she could get badly hurt...more so than usual.
She hide behind a wall of glass that is behind the one John was hiding behind. And she sticks out from the edge to show him where she was. He looks over then nods as Caine sits down behind another wall and reloads his gun. "Come on, John. Let's get this shit over with." Caine said. "Yeah." John replied, breathless. "That sounds like a good idea." He said and he reloads his gun while Caine comes out from hiding and holds his sword out, hitting a glass case, as he walks around.
"You took a deal." John said to him. "Same as you, John." Caine replied. "Family?" John asked as he gets up on his knees. "Family." Caine confirms as his foot hits a dead man and his rifle.
John peaks out from his hiding and fires at Caine. Caine grabs the rifle, runs and slides on his side and fires to where he heard the gunfire. The two men keep firing through the glass wall, not hitting the other, until the glass breaks and falls.
John was on his back, his gun aimed at Caine as Caine used his sword to feel his way around. "You dead, John?" Caine asked and John keeps quiet then looks over to his side to see a gun. He goes to reach for it but made a noise and Caine catches this. John goes to grab the gun but Caine slides across the floor and blocks him from grabbing the gun.
Caine started to get up and swing his sword but John ducks then gets behind him and grabs him but Caine flips him over on the ground, gets on top of him and starts to hold the sword to John's neck. John holds the sword back at bay then looks over to see his wife sticking her head out from her hiding place.
She looked frighten and was about to move to him but he shakes his head at her. "John." Caine said. "Caine." John said as he struggles and (y/n) couldn't let him die so she goes to grab her gun and aim it at Caine.
But before she could fire, another gunfire shoots out and Caine jumps off of John and rolls away. John then gets up and runs as a man fires at Caine. John goes over to (y/n), takes her hand and they run out of the room.
They make their way outside when a few guards shoots at them and they fire back. Another suited man comes up and John fights him until he was able to knock him down and shoots him in the head. He then noticed a pin with a crest on his jacket and he takes it then pockets it.
Before (y/n) could speak, they hear a small branch breaking and the couple turn to aim their gun when a couple of guards come up. But then a dog comes up and attacks one man while the second man was shot in the head.
Then this African American man comes up while John and (y/n) aim their guns at him. "Damn, Johnny. This is quite the mess you and your woman made." He said as John stands up. "I don't know you." John said, confused. "But I know you." The man, Mr Nobody, said and he aims his gun at John.
"You a tracker?" John asked and Mr Nobody holds up his phone. "How much?" John asked. "Not enough." Mr Nobody replied as he shuts his phone and pockets it. "But it's gettin' there." Mr Nobody said as he lowers his gun.
Then a suited man comes up behind John and (y/n) but Mr Nobody shoots him, killing him. "I need you to take better care of yourself and your wife, John." Mr Nobody said as he holsters his gun. "Cause we're in this together now." He said and John stares at him then he lowers his right hand and reached out for his wife's hand, his left hand holding the gun.
She lowers her left hand, her right hand holding her gun, and they hold hands then back up before lowering their guns and run off into the woods, hand in hand.
