The subject came up today and I can't decide so I'm throwing it out there because I don't give a fuck and also having survived all of this kinda makes me sound like a badass

#my life sounds exciting here but between the exciting parts it's really quite boring #ages:#8. 9. 10? 16. 17. 18. 21 I think. 23. 27. still living #near death experience #also it may have been category one but Wikipedia described Isaias as devastating so there #i want to say it was the dogs because even as scary as the too-close tornado was I really felt like I was staring down death that moment #but also is that fair in the face of everything else I've survived?#fuck it why not set it for a week I'm curious about what other people think of my life #also that tornado was less than a block away but mostly stayed in the soy field. ripped off some of the roofing of the house tho #it was either EF0 or EF1 I forget but obvs I didn't know that while hunkering down #turns out tornadoes really DO sound like trains and the air gets a bit thin #or maybe I was just panicking lol #also when my heart nearly stopped I was forced to watch while unable to speak as they readied the shock paddles which. uh. wow #luckily (?) my heart shot back up to two hundred plus beats per minute #but I lived bitches. thru everything #mecore #i don't feel awkward asking about this bc I'm p sure I've talked about all of these at various points here

The one where Steph, Cass, Tim and Bernard get drunk and infiltrate Duke's high school winter prom by looking too much like teens.

Everything is fine - they don't cause trouble cause Bernard is there and also cause Duke will destroy them if they ruin his first relaxing moment in months - until a teacher finds them drinking in the football field and demands to call their parents. Tim is very drunk and gives Bruce's number.

Bruce is very worried because while is true that Duke is been dealing with a lot he is a good kid and not really one for underage drinking. He spends the whole car trip worring he isn't offering enough support for Duke and shouldn't be giving him space to process his mom condicion even if Duke asked him for. He also starts questioning if Duke's friends are somehow a bad influence.

The thing is when he enters the school and the teacher says he will take them to the detencion room he put the kids he pass over the ball room and Duke is there with a crown on his head cracking jokes over Gotham insanity with his usual group of teens (and Harper, since they were presented to each other they matched and Duke started trying to include her in his hang outs) and aparently having the time of his life.

So since they go to the same school, Bruce's only logical conclusion is that DAMIAN was the one who got caught underage drinking (he didn't conside it at first cause Damian is fourteen and will only start high school next year so he likely woudn't be on prom) and he spends the five minutes it take to get to the room with the fear of god (Talia) in his hearth.

Imagine his surprise when instead he finds a shit eating grim Steph ("What's up, B"), a confused looking Tim ("Guess I got detencion"), a guilty Bernard ("Sorry, Mr. Wayne") and an unimpressed Cass ("Hey, dad"). After convincing the teacher that "no, no, they are adults, Tim just likes to lie he is seventeen for no reason" and paying so the teacher don't call the police over the intruders a very tired Bruce goes home questioning why he has so many kids.

For some reason (because Bruce will end up telling Alfred and they don't want a disapointed stare) Tim and Cass choose to spend the night at Steph's. Bernard goes to, but is more because Tim is asking and also because if not he would have to spend sometime in the car alone with Bruce and he is terrified of the man.

#duke is smart and kind and brave and he deserves a good night #if they had ruined duke's night somehow they would not have being able to scape consequences free #not even cass #fortunally they didn't #duke had the time of his life #bruce has too many kids #tim and his eternal 17 yo status #he is 21 #bernard totaly is a part of their shennanigans is the consequence of dating tim #stephanie fav part is always the chaos #stephanie brown #cassandar cain #tim drake #bernard dowd #duke thomas #bruce wayne #batman #batdad

Never thought I’d say something like that, but the drama of space robot politics in this show doesn't quite measure up to the drama of those teenage girls’ romance.

#which isn't to say that it's not good #it's just that during that dramatic earth episode I found myself thinking #'hm. really bold of them to focus of that right now'#also the world building in this show is quite nice #especially all the 'zero g as part of daily life' stuff #that's neat #I also admit that the 17/21 years thing has completely flown over my head #my excuse is that I am watching big sittings at the end of workdays #but I suspect that I am hardly the only one who fell for it #great setup and execution #ALSO also I gotta say that I sort of knew about the franchise's reputation going in #but still there was a lot of moments where I had to pause to stop and say #'hm. that's fucked up'#in a good way tho #anyway I am not done yet #can you guess which episode ending prompted this post #Gundam #gundam witch from mercury #witch from mercury #suletta mercury #miorine rembran

in contrast to the previous post, I neeeed a NEW Etrian Odyssey. The HD collection was great news and a huge boon for the series, but my particular craving is for an EO that is completely new to me. The discovery of new strata. The meeting of new characters. New classes new portraits new enemies. Ooogh I need. Honestly though I'm concerned for the cartography aspect of the series. I didn't play a lot of HD collection but I did get a feel for the map controls and it goes without saying that, while a good effort, it simply nintendoesn't what the DS could. If ever there truly was a series that belonged on, was made for the console it was on, EO's the one. It feels like the death of the series even though there might be more games.

a good chunk of my teenage and adult life was spent in a very intense very life consuming depression. like there are genuinely years I can barely remember because it's like I was living in a fog for months and months at a time and I didn't feel anything and nothing brought me joy for so long. and so people would be like "it'll get better:)" and I was like yeah OK sure. whatever I want to kms. But then it actually did get better??? And it is a miracle. Oh my God it's a miracle. I want to fucking scream it from the rooftops. Not being depressed is the most incredible feeling and I've been carrying it for about a full year now. I smile at people on the street and mean it and see beauty in EVERYTHING and I don't need big giant things to bring me joy. I like listening to music on the bus. And cooking for myself and others. And I love putting on weird outfits just to go to the grocery store. And getting into a bed after a nice shower. There is sunshine in my brain and I can't believe how lucky I am that it came back

#i thought for a while it was because of my ex bc i figured it was just the feeling of being love. and that may have contributed #but we're broken up now and i still feel it <3 #i get sad sometimes still. but in like a normal way #i dont have passing thoughts about wanting to be dead LOL i am glad to be here !!! every day i wake up is a blessing !!!#im happy !!! i have hope for my future and im excited for it !!!!#lovely.#also i think part of this was my brain developing Tbh like my absolute WORST was 17-21 ish and it started slowly getting better #now im almost 24 and i just feel so much more stable and okay with everything god life is good #me #this is also prompted because a coworker told me im a super light and happy person and i almost cried because i remember #the times when anyone who saw me would ask me what was wrong or if i was tired because there was just no life in me #:):):):):)#sorry for long post LOL but at least its positive

so crazy that i now refer to ages 13-14 as "when i was a kid" i'm only 21 but im not ONLY 21! good lord! i am a grown woman now!

#so crazy how one's view of the different ages changes and continues will continue to change #SO MUCH over the years #when i was 5-6 i couldn't imagine being 17 #and when im 37 i will look back at my 21-year-old self and see myself as being so young #i will be in a completely different part of my life.#when i am 37 i will have lived again the same amt of time that it took me to grow from a baby to a teenager worried about her whole future

Taylorsville Police, who are investigating, said that two teenagers aged 15 and 17 have been arrested and charged with “multiple felony charges” in relation to what they are treating as a possible homicide. Alex Franco had previously been reported as missing, possibly abducted, on Monday (18 March), after bring seen getting into a 2000s Jeep Liberty. Just after Franco got into the vehicle, witnesses heard a gunshot and the jeep sped away. Franco’s body was found on Tuesday 19 March.
