Anyway! Deere rambling time. Specifically @rebuke-me 's Punk au. Which, if you haven't read it, you are missing out. [Also, spoilers ahead for said au if you haven't read it.]

They're so pathetic./pos They're both in so deep, but they don't let themselves realize it.

Jeremy's back in Middleborough, and it's the first time he's been back since he moved away with his mom. And he's so different. He's been to hell and back, and his walls are so high up. He hates himself and thinks everyone else does too, and that they're right to. His mom is awful, and he's grateful to be far away from her. His on and off boyfriend is no better, and won't leave him alone. His little sister is both clinging to him for dear life as the only familiar thing in this new environment, and avoiding his eyes. And his dad is trying but he has no idea what he's doing either. And Jeremy just wants to fall into the background. For no one to notice him, for no one to recognize him. To just get through school and keep his sister safe and his dad happy.

But Jake Dillinger won't leave him alone.

He keeps asking Jeremy questions about his makeup and his clothes. Asking if he's OK. And offering to take him to and from school. And remembering little things about him. Bringing him coffee. And the worst part is, is Jake isn't scared to be seen with Jeremy. He only hides it because Jeremy asks him to, he does it for Jeremy's comfort.

And then they sleep together.

But the lights are off. And they don't say names. And they don't kiss. And it's nothing they need to think too much about. Just a thing they do now, in Jake's empty house. It becomes part of the routine.

Drive to school together, make subtle eye contact in the halls but no more, drive home together, sometimes to Jake's house.

What neither of them are counting on, is falling for the other. Hard.

Jeremy's convinced Jake is straight. He's Jake Dillinger, of course he is. This is just to get off, he doesn't have feelings for him. He never could. So even if Jeremy might be feeling things he shouldn't for the guy, it's easy to shove it down because it'll never happen.

And then there's Jake, having his sexuality crisis because fuck. Does he like guys? He definitely still likes girls, he's never liked any other guys, but he for sure likes Jeremy. Which is a problem because the guy has a boyfriend. Well, not currently, but he has a weird situation with his ex and even though he's so clearly bad for him, it's not Jake's place to tell him what to do. He's not his boyfriend, and he's not even sure Jeremy really considers them friends.

So now they're stuck in this limbo of sorts. Neither of them saying what they mean, or what they want. Never moving from this standstill they've lodged themselves in. And then Jake finally works up the nerve to tell Jeremy, bite the bullet. Nothing is worse than keeping this in. And Jeremy agrees to meet at Jake's house and talk, says he even has something he wants to discuss to. And Jake is so excited, but Jeremy looks squirmy so he let's him go first.

And then Jeremy tells him he's taking his ex [Sean] back. That he apologized and promised to change and make the effort. And they were just messing around, nothing serious. And everything freezes for Jake. Full stop. And his excitement vanishes. Of course Jeremy is taking his ex back, of course he doesn't like Jake back. Jake was stupid to think he would. And so Jake shuts down, says it's cool. And for a selfish moment, Jake thinks he sees a flash of hurt on Jeremy's face. But even if it was there, Jake can't let himself enjoy that because then he's hurting Jeremy. And no matter what he can't make himself hurt him.

And Jeremy is hurt by Jake's response. Because it confirms all his fears. That this meant nothing to Jake. He meant nothing to Jake. And whatever they were, whatever they could have been, didn't matter. It was just a phase. And Jake was fine to stop whenever because why would he bother with Jeremy when he could have anyone he wanted?

And then their routine is broken. Jeremy's avoiding Jake, they don't even look at eachother in the halls. And then the play happens. And Sean drugs Jeremy. And Jake almost loses him completely. And Jake's terrified, but he has to be calm for Jeremy. He has to be there for Jeremy's little sister. Has to be the calm one because otherwise no one is going to help.

He talks with Jeremy's sister [Esther] in the hospital waiting room, and she shares maybe more than she should. Answers some of Jake's unasked questions. And he sees their mom, and she's just as bad as Jeremy said. Hell, her just being there activates Esther's fight or flight. And then his dad shows up and he looks so tired and so scared for his kid. And Jake blames himself even though it's not his fault, but he should have done something, done more. Said something. And he's still trying not to shake or break down in front of Esther, because she's 13, and this isn't the first time this has happened. This isn't the first time she's almost lost her brother. This isn't the first time she's been crying in a hospital waiting room waiting to hear if her brother will be ok. And so Jake holds on for her, to give her something stable to hold onto. But inside he's crumbling.

battle of the bands 2024: an honest op-ed by jeremy elder the six entries to battle of the bands 2024 have finally been announced. not only will we be seeing sad men in their 30s's favorite new band the chosen, known for their appearance on the netflix reality show 'up & coming,' but also four other groups who desperately wish they were as famous. this includes: ftc, renowned alternative-indie sad-girl trio; kolivition, known for making the music your mom turns off every time she walks into the room; coventry, the punk girl group equivalent of that pinterest quote 'we are the granddaughters of the witches you could not burn'; and let's do this, who... no, that's it. who? anyway, it's not like any of that really matters, because i've yet to mention the smosh reunion, aka the wet dream of every millenial who asks for a veteran's discount after surviving warped tour. a clear favorite to win, smosh is coming in with an army of fans and a near-decade of experience on these guys. good luck to what little competition they have. in addition, i am thrilled to report that we now know the final lineup of judges. diehard battle of the bands fans - all two of you - will be thrilled to know that rhett mclaughlin and link neal of mythical will be back to judge yet another thrilling year of mediocrity. after winning ten years ago, those guys just won't let go of their glory days. (or maybe it's the other way around. blink twice if you need help, guys.) on the bright side, though, they've also introduced surprise judge jackie uweh. known for being one of the greatest performers of our generation, it will be uweh's first time judging a musical competition. i don't know what she's doing here and i highly suggest that she runs. and runs fast. the three will be the wonderful, charming, and dutifully impartial judges to this year's competition, and definitely will not be just handing it to smosh as a reward for their long-awaited reunion. (because ian hecox definitely wasn't signed onto the mythical label as a solo artist. it's not unfair at all.) finally, the emcee and host of the event will be newcomer to the rap scene, trevor. if that name doesn't ring any bells for you - don't worry, it doesn't for the rest of us, either. the 24-year-old rapper was apparently responsible for mixing the beats on mythical's latest and edgiest album, which, due to the power of nepotism, made him a natural choice for this year's emcee. known for his "meme rap" (i am being so serious right now), trevor auditioned for the battle of the bands but, fortunately, did not qualify. thus, he will not be competing nor, allegedly, performing. though i have my doubts. i reserve the right to run screaming for the hills the moment they hand him a mic. the soundcloud musician (that's right - don't bother looking him up on spotify, you won't get anywhere) will be hosting the battle of the bands and the series of live shows leading up to it. what does all this mean? well, it looks like this year is no different from the last, and predictable set-ups have means to predictable ends. nevertheless, i, your faithful and humble local reporter, will be making the trip to la with an all-access backstage pass in hand and reporting on the entire thing from start to finish. no rehearsal, live show, or, most importantly, complete disaster of a finale will escape my sight. rest assured that you have at least one decent and reliable eye witness to the whole fiasco. tomorrow marks my trip down to la - i'll be reporting live from the road. until then, i bid you adieu. may the best smosh - i mean, band - win.

Can you explain your jeremike?

YEAH I CAN (I hope I understood the question correctly xD) (still hoping for a translator)

I have (relatively) two storylines with them, at the moment one is canonical, taking place in the original fnaf timeline the second is fanon, in a happy AU, where they are just happy buns in both of them Mike meets Jeremy at university, in his first year (I don’t really know this system in America, so I rely on Google)

I’ll talk about them briefly, I think, because I’ll get tired of translating it all x)

1. in the canon route, Jeremy helps Michael process his traumas (partially, at least), and get away from William, because this is clearly a much more traumatic and abusive experience for him I haven’t fully worked through it all yet, because the ending of it all kills me a little, but that’s what it is :"" they hang out together, spend time, meet, etc. The problem is they don't talk about what they should. Mike is used to it being “not accepted” because no one in his family did it, and Jer thinks the same so in the end they have conflicts due to understatements and other things and despite the fact that they've been dating for, like… five or six years, they break up when Will texts Michael asking him to come to Sister Location Conflict: Michael feels guilty towards his father and wants to return, Jer finds this out of the ordinary given their experiences together they quarrel and separate :( and then Mike dies

I was doing "all about pairings" with my friend and we had this thing that was like Michael is the first to apologize, but has a hard time letting go of grudges and Jeremy waits for an apology, but immediately forgives him and, as it were, in their relationship it became habitual, when after a misunderstanding Mike apologized, Jer forgave it, and they continued but after his death, Michael couldn't bring himself to call Jeremy and apologize plus Ennard also put pressure on him, which made him believe much more that he did not deserve forgiveness

2. it's a happy AU where Willry and Jeremike are canon, just because me and my friends find it comfortable William and Henry started a family, they are raising five children - Michael, Charlie and Sam, Elizabeth and Evan (by eldest) Mike doesn't suffer from attention deficit disorder and doesn't act like a jerk, he just hangs out with his gang and enjoys life, plus he helps his fathers and siblings again, he adheres to the punk subculture, he really likes it x) so this implies all this rebellious nature, anarchy and so on

it also implies the logical desire of him and his friends to create a musical group! one problem - they don't have a drummer AND WHAT WOULD YOU THINK? OH MY GOD WHAT IS THIS BEAUTIFUL BOY STUDYING WITH US ON THE PARALLEL COURSE?! Jeremy Fitzgerald?! wonderful, he will be in our gang!

so Jeremy becomes part of the "bullies" (xd), they also hang out together with a punk rock theme, everyone dreams of motorcycles (eventually they buy them) and OF COURSE PLAY MUSIC!!! and, well, Jeremy on drums and Michael on bass. I have the most wonderful joke about "drum and bass" ;)

Over time, the Jeremikes start dating, and there is nothing particularly harsh here, they just happily spend time with each other, look at the stars and flirt

3. (SECRET POINT!!!) I have an au au for the second storyline in which everything is the same, but they are monsters >:3 Mike's family are vampires/werewolves (he himself is also a werewolf), Jeremy is a gargoyle (I'm still wondering if the stone boner joke is racist???)

AND IT ALSO TURNS OUT IN THE FOREIGN (?) SEGMENT THERE IS SUCH A CUTE THING AS AN ANALOGUE OF "BABE" THAT LOOKS LIKE "BOO" AND IT'S JUST SO CUTE AND AND FITS PERFECTLY IN THIS AU AU :DDDDDD

FNAF re-writed AU

Heyy. So you may saw my story about FNAF AU (Original AU was made in 2014, re-mastered was made in 2020, by Reb). So it's my take on this AU (it's like AU for an AU that existed long time ago). I liked it very much, that's why I created my story for it.

So about AU world:

The Freddy Fazbear Pizzeria is located in Utah (mainly in Hurricane) (canon location from a book "The silver eyes"), so guards lives there too. It's very calm city.

About Characters:

Michael (Mike) Schmidt (26 y.o.) - a 6'0 bald man. Lives in a house with his wife Dollores. Mike goes on anger managment therapy. He have PTSD because of bite of 87 (in the party, he was bitten by Foxy). He acts like a dad to Jeremy (his co-worker). Plans to even adopt him. Mike loves rock. He secretly plays on a guitar. He's style is mainly comfortible clothes like hoodie or jeans.

Dollores (Doll) Schmidt (25 y.o.) - she's 5'6 blond woman. She's also married to Mike. They met when Mike left the college (he didn't like it there). They both clicked by his silly jokes. Then they got married after Dollores finished college. Doll works in a florist's shop in mall. She loves flowers. She usually dress up like Mike (in comfy clothes).

Jeremy Fitzgerald (18 y.o.) - he is 5'2 brunette man. He wears a "?" mask which hides his scar (he got it from years ago, when he still lived with his family). He left his family home to start a new life (he had bad family life). He have PTSD because of it and stuttering. Mike is like a father to him. He really likes anime. He's even big fan of Sailor Moon. His fashion is usually t-shirts with anime characters on it and cozy sweater. He is also a volunteer at a pet shelter (he's also a vegetarian).

Fritz Smith (24 y.o.) - he's 5'5 man with an orange hair. He can't see well (he have -6), that's why he have big glasses. He's very inteligent (even a computer expert). When Fritz finished college (he have PHD in IT), he couldn't find a job (job needed expirienced people). So he chose Freddy Fazbear's. He loves food, like really. He orders packages from Amazon to try food from all around the world. He also likes videogames. He dresses up in gaming t-shirt and jeans.

Scott (Phone guy) (Daichi) Cawtton (45 y.o.) - he's 6'4 man with dark hair. Scott was born in Osaka (Japan), but moved to US for education. He have PHD in engieering, English literature and mathematics. He knows English, Korean, Japaneese and French language. He is a manager at Freddy's. Usually working overtime, he drinks too much coffee. He have his phone mask, because of accident with Golden Freddy. His face got very damaged by it. He is 90% at work so he usually wears work uniform, but at his days off, he wears sweater and jeans. He likes Vincent a bit, but he'll not go into relationship because of Vincent's joking nature. Scott is more serious.

Vincent Bishop (42 y.o.) - he's 6'2 man with purple hair. In his younger years, he was a rebel. His family was rich and popular, so they made him play piano and do studies. But he's true love was making clothes. That's why his style is goth/punk. After years of pressure from his family, Vincent got DID (Dissociative identity disorder). He have 2 personalities/identities. One is chill and nice, other called "William", is more of a darker side of him (evil side). When he is himself, his eyes are white, but when he becomes William, his eyes are dark (yin-yang type of thing). Vincent lives is a house which from outside looks normal, but from inside looks pretty rich. His room is full of sewing machines and materials. He usually wears fancy/punk-goth clothes. He only teases for attention. He loves it. Also he's pan. Before he was in relationship with Mahogany (Boss's daughter), but they broke up. Then he started going after Scott. Vincent can also talk in Spanish.

Mahogany Brown (40 y.o.) - she's a 6'0 woman with long dark hair. Even if she's beautiful, she's also inteligent. She finished college and now works as a model. She loves fashion, but more she likes photography. She usually wears fancy clothes.

Byron (Boss) Brown (60 y.o.) - he's 6'0 bald man. By outside, he's very serious buissness man, but in inside, he's a loving father. He's a boss at Freddy's. He likes golf.

Chris Evans (22 y.o.) - he's 6'0 blond man. Chris is a trans man, so he have pins with his pronounces on his uniform. He also works as a janitor in Freddy's. He's the only one janitor there. He loves his job. It's very easy for him. He's also a younger brother of Dollores.

Patrice (Bishop) (20 y.o.) - my OC, yippee. She's a 5'0 woman with mid long brown hair. She like Mike, never finished college, but also left her country to try something new. She's very introverted, but if you'll know her more, she becomes open and energetic. She loves desserts. She's very talented in making them. No matter if it's cupcakes, cookies, cake or waffles, she can make it. She 1st lived in small poor apartment, but then moved in with Vincent. They became BFF. He sometimes even helps her in work. Patrice loves suits. A gentleman, awww. That's why people thought that she is man (after some time they knew that she's a woman). She can't stand crowded places, and when it's too much going on with sounds, she puts on her headphones with music. Vincent is like brother to her.
