I'm so frustrated. I've been aware of puppy play (11 years) for FAR longer than i've been INTO puppy play (6 years) and I understand the history and significance of the standard pup hoods DO NOT GET ME WRONG. However... A lot of the standard pup hoods are very bulky and clunky and... bad. I really do not like them nor have I met many who actually liked them. So why is it that if I wanna get a pup hood the standard ones are my only choice!? If I want anything other than the traditional face I have to resort to making a fursuit! Guys we are the kink community, we gotta be capable of more. Give me options PLEASEEEEE. There is more than one dog breeeeed gimme a Collie, gimmie pug, gimme a dog dang Borzoi!!!!!!

So my birthday is coming up soon, and to be honest, I’m not all that excited about it this year. Not only am I not happy about almost turning 30, but I’m also bummed that I don’t have a lot of friends that draw for eachother anymore. I’m closing, I don’t think I’m getting alot of gift arts this year(but I am glad my mom made me a blanket as a birthday gift).

as a possessive, jealous Eddie Diaz truther I actually thing the jealousy switcheroo in buddie is incredibly appropriate.

buck can have other male friends besides Eddie, and he's completely fine about it, cause he's sure of his place in bucks life. he know he's buck's best friend, and would never replace him. he knows that besides Maddie, and the kids (Chris and jee) he's the most important person in bucks life.

When is Eddie jealous? when bucks gets a new girlfriend, when he partners up with Taylor for the treasure hunt instead of him. We see him being actively hostile. Cause that's a position Eddie doesn't fill in bucks life, a romantic partner (even though he wants to), so he's unsure of himself.

When is buck jealous? when Eddie gets new friends, we already saw that with Lena Bosko in season 3, cause buck is insecure of his role in Eddie's life (in pretty much every single life of his friends and family), he fears abandonment. He fears that someone will take his place as best friend. But when Eddie is with Ana, buck is calm in my opinion, he's stressed just cause he can see that Eddie is not happy.

all these words just to say that Eddie Diaz knows he's in love with his best friend, he's known for a long time, that's why he's jealous when buck has a romantic partner. while buck still has his eyes covered to the truth, and in his mind what he and eddie have is a totally normal besties relationship. that's why he's jealous and anxious when Eddie gets a friend.

Alright I know next to nothing about this show, but... I- I just... How does this happen.

Do other characters make fun of this poor dog's mouth like they made fun of Crocker's neck-ear in The Fairly Oddparents? Like why is it placed there. Who signed off on this.

I get that it's a Butch Hartman staple to place characters' mouths on the sides of their faces, but on a character with this face shape, it just looks super odd and uncanny. The mouth looks tacked on rather than connected to the face in any way that makes anatomical sense. In these screenshots, it looks like someone just placed a red leaf sticker under her eye and she actually has no mouth (but she must scream).

I think part of what happened here is that someone told the designer that this character needed to look feminine, and tiny mouths are feminine. Screw anatomical consistency; this is a girl dog that the male lead develops a crush on because girl. What more information could you possibly need? (I actually haven't seen this episode and Becky may or may not have personality traits outside of being the token chick, but I haven't found much more info other than her occupation).

Like there are so many better options than what they went with.

I can't completely blame the designer as I'm sure they were just trying to work within the absurd requests handed to them. No, I blame whoever was supervising them. The person who insisted on this mouth placement, the person who approved it, the person who was somehow convinced that this looked okay.

Not sure what else to say about it, other than I'm stunned that this aired on national TV. This show was on Nickelodeon. Incredible. But on the plus side, if you're ever feeling bad about your character design skills, this image will probably make you feel a million times better.

whump, crime family, family drama, daddy issues (MAJOR!), mommy issues (MAJOR!), well-done action sequences, trauma, “protect the family” sense of duty mindset, lots of baking (by my poor blorbo charles as a coping mechanism), sibling issues, oldest son vs youngest son dynamic (- two brothers, who have both spent their lives competing for attention, approval, and freedom; in their own different ways -), conflicted tortured oldest son, did i mention major daddy/mommy issues and PLENTY OF THE GOOD OL’ EMOTIONAL WHUMP.

and oh their troubled mother is played by THEE MICHELLE YEOH !!!!!!! ✨MOTHER✨

ahhhh charles, his father brainwashed him, turned him into a ruthless killer and put him through so much trauma. my man just wants to have a normal life, bake pastries etc and reconnect with his mother and brother. like look at him (HE NEEDS A HUG AND SEVERAL CHURROS)

my silly little trimax theory that i will forever stand by is that i think razlo was the one who actually ran forward to catch jasmine when she fell off the roof when they were kids.

my main reasoning is that when he runs forward, he’s completely obscured in shadow, with only his left eye visible. which is how razlo is often portrayed in livio’s flashbacks!!

while I do think it was livio who was fronting by the time he actually caught jasmine, i sincerely believe it was razlo who got them running in the first place. plus, we see this scene from wolfwood’s point of view, and of course he wouldn’t be able to actually know if it was livio or not in that moment

Divinity lams AU?

Alex is some divine, etheral being and John is just a pathetic and lost fallen angel who swears his devotion to this 'otherworldly being' for the privilege of following him around and being with him for eternity because it gives him a purpose. And at first, Alex just sees him as this sad soul whos's lost and doesnt know what to do and genuinely takes pity on him; but eventually it goes from a 'worshiped and worshiper' relationship to a relationship in which Alex see's him as an equal despite being nothing but.

And even before this, John had been searching for guidance through other people because he never fully trusted his instincts and yet this had only led him to be distrusting because the very reason he had 'fallen' was because he had followed anothers lead. In turn, he turned to etheral 'gods' who he knows cant do him wrong because they'll always view themselves as above him, and with pledging his devotion, they cant turn on him because he will forever be their faithful subject.

Unfortunately for John his devotion borders more on obsession. He loves looking up to see someone so majestic staring back down at him with such a soft smile in contrast to piercing eyes and to know Alex would be looking at him makes his heart flutter and insides melt and skin on In fire(figuratively..) and makes him just want to cut off his wings and give them to Alex as a sign of his true adoration he holds for him. And obviously this concerns Alex. I mean, his poor devotee is willing to do anything for him but theres a line, right? Alex still cares for him of course, what kind of being would he be if he allowed someone to sacrifice their own peace for him?

Cue emotional outburst number one! John would be rambling softly about how if he had the strength he would just rip out his wings and alex has to lean down and gently rest his palm on John's cheek to tell him not to ruin his beautiful wings and that being with him is devotion enough for him and that physical pain in his name would only cause harm. And then tears, of course, in natural angst fashion.

Oh, and John has an immense fear of corrupting Alex the entire time due to the fact hes a 'sinner' (by his own standards) and being in the presence of such divinity as a 'corrupted being' puts Alex at risk to fall from his stance of power. But even despite his fear he can't leave not only due to this eternal soul-binding agreement, but because being in his presence makes him feel alive and as though he can feel love again even after he had failed in doing so for so many years. But in the end Alex doesnt see himself as higher or with more power but as an equal.

John would have 'given up' his ability to feel love for another in order to be fully devoted to Alex, and yet he was convinced he didnt have it in the first place so he decided he wouldnt be giving it up if he never had it. But in turn he discovered that he did have the ability to love, but it had to be discovered through giving up the ability to love anyone other than Alex, and in a way hes happier with that.

But even so, John doesnt think hes worthy enough to be so close to someone so much better than he is, and he does view it as a privilege to be there until Alex tells him to stand up in which he physically has to look down at alex(he would stand at other points, of course, but he would never physically look down. If alex would speak to him he would physically attempt to lower his height to keep Alex above him by his own personal will.) But that is the point where he would cup johns face and then tell him that he's wonderful and the most faithful devotee hes had the 'honor' of being with and then tears. so many tears. so many pent up tears form years john has been telling himself that he cant feel love and to even be in the vicinity of Alex is a privilege that he doesnt deserve just to be told to his face that this divine being loves him and appreciates everything hes done and he doesnt want John to be hurt for him.

One of the things that I’ve always interested me about Will’s character development is his eye Contact with people.

It is a theory that dogs only look into the eyes of those they trust. As a dog owner, I find that to be true.

Now when it comes to Will and his Eye Contact with people as the series goes on, I find that he only looks people in the eyes of those who he  has personal relationships with.

But when it comes to Hannibal, he very rarely ever avoids his Eye Contact. Because even when Hannibal is facing Will with Will’s betrayal. Never once did will take his eyes away from Hannibal’s.

It proves that if we’re going to continue with the dog, theory. That deep down Will still in a sense trusts Hannibal. he knows Hannibal will not  kill him. But definitely will very deliberately injure him in a very bad way.
