I feel like I'm starving for community. I really want to get into the leather scene, but it seems so small in the city I'm at, and in all the photos of the one leather bar i don't see one dyke, so I'm scared to go and be run out. Like where are my people???

It's only recently (as in, past couple of weeks) that I've realized I really want a daddy. Basically I started seeing someone and our dynamic had/has a bit of that daddy/bratty girl vibe and holy shit, it's like when you think "I'm kinda hungry, I could eat" and then you eat the first bite and you realize holy shit I'm STARVING and I want to devour this all at once. But, like. That's not healthy and there are consequences to indulging in that behavior--stomachache, nausea / too emotionally vulnerable too soon and too fast.

Holy shit do I want it.

But how do I overcome the shame of wanting it? Stupid fucking straight internet "daddy doms" taking advantage of highly emotionally vulnerable young women using pacifiers has made me so uncomfortable even saying "daddy / girl" even though I mean it in a very different way. I mean it more like old school leather butch / femme dynamic (although I certainly wouldn't say no to a femme leather daddy either!)

Can anyone relate / help / point me to more images of emotionally healthy holistic daddy / girl or daddy / boy dynamics? I think part of the shame is because I haven't seen many images of that and certainly don't have any role models.
