A: It must be me! I decide what to buy when I go shopping, but I spend three hours not being able to decide. And I end up not being able to buy anything, hahaha. Felix is persuasive and he always encourages me like, “That’s great, you look good in that.” So, I go like, “yeah?” and buying things becomes really easy.

A: Felix, perhaps? But we have a good relationship where all the members can rely on each other. As we have spent so much time together, we have very deep ties, and we believe in each other. We are such a great team!

A: At the beginning, I had an impression that it might be difficult to get along with Bang Chan as he seemed dignified as a leader, but now he has more affection to SKZ than anyone and is very charming man.
Q: Who is the best listener?
A: It may change according to the situation, but I think Changbin listens to everyone a lot. So does Hyunjin and so does HAN, oh that means we all listen to one another really well.
Q: What is the chemi you cannot resist recently?
A: It’s Seungmin and I.N. They both love coffee but they promised not to drink it for their health. But in fact, they are drinking coffee behind their back. It’s funny and it’s sweet to see them like that.
Q: Who relies on you the most?
A: My cat that I have at home.

During the recording of 25 Questions, Lee Know was speaking fluent Japanese. He was so caring. When Changbin was about to digress from the main subject, he warns Changbin like a big brother, and he was making a nice atmosphere. We gave them some instant tonkotsu ramen to enjoy back home, Lee Know was so delighted.

A: When we were living in the same dorm, I heard someone calling me. I peeked into his room, but he was fast asleep. Lee Know speaks very clearly even in his sleep and that was very funny.

A: All the members younger than myself!

Changbin came in to see other members’ interviews and shooting sessions for a while. As he received the gaze from the production staff he had met for the first time, he was a bit shy at the beginning, but all through the shoot, he spoke to the members, and really set the mood for 25 Questions recording. He is the unsung hero of the team. Whenever he says something funny, or when other members react to him funnily, he keeps cool. But before you know he is always in the center of the circle. That is the charm he has, and I was drawn in.

A: I think Seungmin. At first, he was a no-joker, serious guy but I think he is the strangest person of all the members. He really is, strange!
Q: Who is the best listener?
A: I think I.N. Whenever I talk with him, he is so warm and makes me calm. He is so therapeutic to be with.
Q: Please tell me about hidden faces of the members that only you know.
A: HAN and I.N like drawing and they often paint still life in oils. They paint characters so well and they show the drawings at STAY’s events.
Q: What is the chemistry you cannot resist recently?
A: It’s Changbin and Seungmin. Seungmin teases Changbin first and it starts from there. Then Changbin gets angry at Seungmin and Seungmin laughs at Changbin. It’s always the same and they love it (lol).

He has the most beautiful pose, and it was extremely difficult to choose which picture to post. You might think whoever is good at dance performance maybe good at posing, but it is not true. Whether you zoom in or zoom out, Hyunjin has wide variations of poses and has a knack for making the clothes look better. Every time he gets one step closer to success, his parents tell him “I believed in you”. Watching the shooting session and interviewing him, I felt that with that self-esteem, his innate ability to express himself will bloom even more.

Q: Who is the no.1 trendsetter?
A: I think Seungmin sets the trend with the way he talks. He talks in such a way so that the members laugh and gradually we all begin mimicking it. It’s kind of difficult to explain, but he uses that funny voice, or he teases us quite often.
Q: Who has the strongest mentality?
A: It is definitely Seungmin. He is really mentally strong. No matter what people say to him, he is never distracted. He has got that kind of strength. Unbreakable strength.
Q: Who is the most indecisive?
A: Felix maybe? He changes his mind a lot, haha.
Q: Please tell me about hidden faces of the members that only you know.
A: There are not many hidden secrets... Bang Chan cannot drink coffee! Well, this maybe famous. But it could be a new information for someone who came to know us recently.

A soft-spoken man, HAN was embracing other members’ words during the 25 Questions recording. He answered the interview politely and shyly. It was hard to believe that he was the same HAN who has got into the rap bag with the rap legend Tiger JK in the single, “TOPLINE (feat. Tiger JK)” , from the album “★★★★★ (5-STAR)”.

Q: Who is the most particular about food?
A: All of us eat well and eat a lot but if I were to pick one person, it is Changbin. He takes care of his body and does lots of exercise, so he is really healthy!
Q: Who is the no.1 trendsetter?
A: Changbin teaches us lots of buzzwords. HAN is also funny. They are such entertainers, they mimic comedians’ way of talking and moves, and it is so funny we laugh so much.
Q: Who is the most indecisive?
A: Perhaps myself, haha. I decide and I buy something, and I often think something is different afterwards. I regret a bit, then I think “but maybe it’s good in the end”. I keep doing that. I can give good shopping advice to others, though. Bang Chan gave me confidence when he said that I was persuasive.
Q: Please tell me about hidden faces of the members that only you know.
A: Sometimes I can hear a tiger roaring when I am sleeping. Yes, anyone can snore when he is tired. Bang Chan is so busy he often works at dawn, or many times we start early in the morning, so I figure he is tired.

It was impressive to see Felix greet each of the shooting staff he met for the first time. When a staff from Australia gave him a local sweet the kids love, he showed the biggest smile. It was great to see his facial expressions change so much. He is open-minded to everyone. When I asked them, “Who is the most indecisive?” almost all the members said Felix as if it was prearranged. That was where I caught the glimpse of their relationship.

A: Changbin. He has this strict rule that the dinner must be finished before the date changes.

A: Changbin talks about buzzwords a lot. He is so good at that kind of things. For example, when he was eating chili crab, he got excited and started singing, “chili chili crab crab” after the lyrics of “chili chili men men”. It just comes at the right point.
Q: Who has the strongest mentality?
A: I think it is Changbin. He has an ability to deal in any situation.
Q: Who is the most indecisive?
A: Felix often changes what he is interested in. Hyunjin changes his mind a lot when he tries to choose something from the menu, or simple things like that.
Q: Tell me about your recent TMI (random incidents).
A: Lee Know is doing a lot of cooking at the dormitory recently. He buys some cooked food and arranges it his way. He’s very good.

I asked him, “If you were to be reborn, what do you want to be?” “A Stray Kids fan,” Seungmin said. “I want to see how Stray Kids are from STAY’s point of view.” Everyone marveled at this answer. He is a quick thinker but also witty as he answered many questions pretending to be Changbin.

A: Lee Know goes on and on about some facts to Changbin. The words he uses and the fact he talks about can only be called truth, but it is just so funny and Changbin’s pressured face is also hilarious. It is not that he does not talk back, but the rule is that Changbin always loses.

The downplayed significance of Nanashi's family dynamic with Boss and Asahi
Before we start, let's cut the main root of concern for many people:
The concept of Nanashi and Asahi being a possible romance option. Would it be taboo in Japan?
From a legal viewpoint: No. According to Article 734, Paragraph 1 of the Civil Code, marriage is legally recognized for non-blood adoptive siblings.

For historical background, here's a translated excerpt from Oshiete (Q&A Japanese website):
"[...] Before the war, it seems that there were many cases where daughters were adopted by families with the intention of becoming their sons' wives in the future. Also, if a girl was born as a biological child after a boy was adopted, there were inheritance issues, so the two would often be set off to marry. Nowadays, parents are no longer allowed to decide to whom a child will marry, but they cannot stop their children from wanting to get married as well".
Asahi and Nanashi are basically in a gray zone where they ''could'' be called siblings by social definition but nobody-cares-or-thinks-it's-a-big-deal if they decide to marry, specially given their circumstances of growing in a devastated Tokyo.

They don't call each other or are referred to in any way by words synonymous to brother and sister. Despite the elephant in the room that Boss took care of both, nobody raises a brow because they aren't blood-related. The best you could say is that they're technically an example of this trope.
Gender roles be damned, one could go as far as think that Boss's constantly telling Nanashi to look after Asahi (repeating it even in his last breath) enforces the incredibly narrow line between adoptive father and father-in-law...
[Three different instances prior to the unseal of Krishna where the same dynamic plays. In the first one, Nanashi complies to what Boss asks of him in both options; from then on, the option box doesn't show anymore, with the third instance being the most indicative that Nanashi being obedient to his father's figure (thus contrasting with Asahi's impulsiveness) is an established fact.]
Now, if we were to comment on Nanashi's individual relationship with Boss through the clues we were given... Nanashi certainly felt distant given that he only referred to the man that raised him as "Asahi's dad" and moved on rather quickly compared to Asahi (or that's how the world he lives in expects him to).
Hallelujah is the only character that was able to sense that Nanashi might hide unsolved feelings underneath his composed persona, and it says a lot considering how Hallelujah would often be in awe of how reassuring his peer felt compared to himself.
Hallelujah's friendship with both Nanashi and Asahi is earnestly felt through the story but it's particularly intimate in this part.
That being said... while Boss would be shown as more protective of Asahi, an attentive player would notice the few glimpses where he also displayed fatherly feelings towards Nanashi.
The most subtle and yet telling example is Nanashi's design itself. What would come first to someone's mind over Nanashi's punk attires and fondness for those lyrics from a John Lennon song would be that they come from his own preferences alone. But then one of the relic descriptions reveals this:
And yet, Boss was also the guy that lacked self-awareness regarding his partiality towards his own daughter compared to the unnamed orphan he took care of... well, it's complicated. Certainly not a black-or-white relationship.
[Similarly to Asahi, Boss reacts in a more positive tone if Nanashi decides to stay 'nameless' as he's been since birth. Manabu and the rest of the cast are impartial to what Nanashi chooses]
It's ironic that the people Nanashi felt the closest to were the ones that grew attached to his lack of name. We have seen fair reasons for Nanashi to be read as a protagonist that perceived a clear distinction between him and Asahi but hints of family affection from Boss are felt nonetheless.
Am I insecure and have attachment issues from being an orphan? Despite everything, was I still a child blessed with love from those around me? This is the turmoil inside our protagonist's mind where it's our role as the player to figure out which answer he would give. And just like the middle ground tends to be the biased view for the SMT4 duology instead of relying on extremes, you could conclude that both statements can be applied for Nanashi's background.
But the rather understated yet possibly most important element from this discussion is the "untold" consequence of the act of Nanashi sticking with his placeholder name behind the themes of the main antagonist of the game. As YHVH's power is amplified through his followers' fear of pronouncing his name (thus staying unreachable and not be at risk of being distorted as other deities), the parallel in the Massacre ending becomes intrinsic as the one who snatches YHVH's throne for himself is none other than our John Doe Protagonist, going from an anonymous human to an anonymous God.
Perhaps Nanashi unintentionally turned out to be the ultimate form of protection a father could give to his neglected adopted son.

Despite Natsume’s lax personality, he’s actually quite good at remembering things. Though he may act like it slips his mind, he will never mention it ever but he’s trained himself to memorise all those important dates–like your anniversaries, birthdays, etc. He might not be as good at recalling everything about you, but he does his very best to at least keep the things that he or you deem important in mind. Your favourite food, your favourite colour, your likes and dislikes–and so on and so forth. Though it may not seem like it, he hoards all the information you tell him, treasuring every part of you that you share with him, because it comes from you.
The minute you say something, rest assured that Tsukasa is noting it down–mentally, if not physically. A compendium of notes in a small booklet that he carries around everywhere, containing nearly everything you’ve ever told him about yourself. He takes care to memorise as much as he can–and it’s enough that, if tested, he can rattle off a rapid list of information pertaining to you. It’s cute, honestly. This is his first time being in a relationship, and Tsukasa doesn’t want you to ever feel underappreciated. He cares for you, truly, and he does his best to show it to you by paying attention. And if you remember things about him, you’re guaranteed to make him smile and blush.
When it comes to this, Leo’s funny because his brain is almost always on overdrive. He’s constantly thinking about something or the other, composing countless melodies in his head, that anything he’s told goes in one ear and out the other. Oh, sure, he tries to pay attention but, well–it’s hard. However, that’s not to say that Leo doesn’t remember anything about you, he does. It’s just… Leo’s the kind of person who doesn’t know your favourite colour, but knows the name of your third-grade teacher. He knows all your obscure knowledge. It’s endearing, really, when you think that he at least made an effort to learn about you–even if he still doesn’t know your favourite colour.
r = remember (what is their favorite moment in your relationship?)
Natsume’s favourite moment is when you confessed to him. You were so cute, stuttering slightly as you told him, I like you! It had made his heart skip a beat, watching your eyes dart here and there, as though you couldn’t bear to meet his gaze–like you were afraid of rejection. But how could Natsume ever say no to you? The way you smiled tentatively as he accepted, replying to your declaration of love with a confession of his own, is something he’ll never forget. A memory that is always circling in his thoughts. Of course, it definitely helps that he got to kiss you afterwards–got to taste your chapstick and hear you giggle against his mouth.
Leo’s favourite moment is any moment when you’re paying attention to him. He likes resting his head in your lap, like a spoiled cat, while you pet his hair as he rambles to you about his day or vice versa. Just being able to spend time with you is calming to him, soothing the nervous energy that circulates through his blood, like he’s just taken a shot of espresso. When you look at him, he feels seen. He knows you’re a busy person, but that only makes it all the more special when you take time out of your schedule to be with him. Staying with you, no matter where in the world you are, is something Leo feels he could do forever and never get tired.
Tsukasa’s favourite moment is when he gets to shed the pretenses and simply be himself with you. There’s no specific scenario, to be honest. He just likes spending time with you–not as the Leader of Knights or the Suou Heir, but just… Tsukasa. Your Tsukasa. And he thinks he might like that part of him best. The one that gets to hold your hand, that gets to go on dates with you, that gets to kiss you…! Any time that he’s with you is important to him, is special to him. As long as he’s with you, he’s content. He’s happy to do anything, so long as it’s you who’s next to him as he does it. Being with you is one of the pleasures of Tsukasa’s life–one that he wouldn’t trade for anything.
w = whole (would they feel incomplete without you?)
Natsume wouldn’t necessarily feel incomplete without you. He’d feel a little empty, sure, but it’s not like it’s something time won’t fix. He’s not the kind of person to give love too much importance, so he’d be more calm about it. He’d miss you, definitely, but he wouldn’t make a big deal out of it. If you ever break up, it’d take him a while to get over it, but he’d manage in the end. Natsume would try to treat you the same, and not act like there are any problems that stem from his lingering feelings, but he’d be good at putting them aside if he deems it necessary. He’d force himself not to think too much about it, only allowing himself to indulge in nostalgia when he’s feeling especially down.
For Leo, who’s the kind of person to love unconditionally and passionately and with wild abandon, he’d feel hollow. Not incomplete per se, but something similar. He’d blame himself at first–for not being good enough, for not convincing you to stay, for all those things–and he’d self-isolate. From you especially. Keeping away from the thing that hurt him, hiding himself away as much as possible. Being around you reminds him too much of how things used to be, which is a constant ache now, and Leo is a master of not dealing with things healthily. He’d probably just keep avoiding you for as long as possible, not giving any chance for either you or him to talk your issues out.
Tsukasa would feel guilty. His first relationship crumbling? And so easily? Was it…was it something he did? Not incomplete, but he’d feel awful. A sick sort of feeling, a persistent ache that won’t go away, that won’t leave him alone. Heartbreak, Narukami-senpai would tell him, a wise look on her face and Tsukasa thinks, oh. Maybe his heart is breaking…? Interactions with you after that would be awkward, because he isn’t quite sure how to treat you, other than not like a lover and not like a stranger, leading to a strange mix of overly-familiar and overly-distanced. He wants to ask you why, but he doesn’t want to ruin this carefully crafted equilibrium, so he just stays silent.

1. What motivates you to write?
all of my lovely mutuals and anyone who has reached out asking for more information about my works are what motivate me everyday to keep writing. just knowing that someone is interested in what i write is enough to keep me going.
2. A line/short snippet of your writing that you are most proud/happy of. If not maybe share a line of someone else's work you love (just please credit them).
i might post the rest of this ltr if i feel like it, but for now here’s a lil snippet from 2083:
Genji was sincere in everything he said, his devotion coming from the depths of his soul. He longed to give Akira everything his heart desired, even if it meant giving up all that he worked for. He yearned to provide Akira with a life worth living, a life filled with joy and free from the pains and pressures of the outside world—a life where Akira could truly find happiness.
3. What part of writing do you think you are the best at? (Yes stroke your own ego it's okay)
i’m not too good at writing dialogue, but something that i’ve always thought i was best at is writing scene descriptions—i feel as though with a paragraph or two, i can easily set the mood for the rest of the chapter.
4. What do you enjoy most about the Writeblr community?
i love how sweet and kind everyone in the writeblr community is. when i first started posting about my wips, i remember thinking that no one was going to care, but when people started reaching out, asking questions about my writing and showing interest, i felt a lot more confident in sharing my works. so ty to my moots and everyone else who’s part of the writeblr community:)
5. A writing tool/device you use that helps you with writing? (It could be speech-to-text, a writing program etc)
some sites i use to help me write are notion and reedsy. they help me organize my ideas so i don’t spend hours getting lost in my thoughts about how a particular chapter or storyline is supposed to progress.
6. A piece of worldbuilding that you like in your own story? (It could be the magic system, a particular place in the story, a law etc).
i really like the class divisions of 2083, especially since it helps build a contrast between Akira’s and Genji’s characters and early in the story.
7. What piece of advice would you say to encourage others to write if they are having a rough patch?
at this point in time, i might be the worst person to ask this question since i’ve just been thugging it out for the past month or so, but i think talking to other people, especially another writer, is a good way to get through a rough patch, since they can provide you with words of encouragement or advice for how to progress with your story. or, if you don’t feel like talking to another person, try talking aloud to yourself—that usually helps me catch mistakes and inconsistencies in my storyline or helps me come up with ideas.

Ok so I know this is technically "Cartoonbabbles" BUT it's also my general fandom account soooooooo fuck it. I just finished the entirety of The Office.
What the fuck do I do with my life now? List out my thoughts on Tumblr while listening to pop songs covered by Hatsune Miku of course.
dear lord season 8 was hard to get through
Why'd they have to do Andy like that like- I appreciate a good snarky guy x secretary ship but come on, Erin and Pete are cute but they're just Jim and Pam to the point where the writers actually poked fun at that.
Andy learning to be okay with himself was actually pretty nice, and you don't need to have a partner to be happy. And I really liked that.
Oscar being the gay uncle to Phillip was fun, I love how he's a fashion icon
Daryll was such a real one throughout the entire series, and I wish him the absolute best
The Farm was. Odd. I don't think I could have stomached it so I'm lowkey glad it didn't happen. It was fun but like- Dwight might be strong enough to shoulder an entire series but I did NOT care for any of his family. Like part of the appeal of The Office for me was that they're a family that found each other, not a family who was placed into a situation they have to make the best of (I understand the irony here but still)
Jim and Pam falling in love again was really sweet
Holly x Michael forever
I loved when Michael kinda just accidentally became Erin's dad.
AND ERIN FOUND HER PARENTS AT THE END MY HEARTTTTTTTTTTTT
And Dwight got to be regional manager
Honestly though I think if they needed Andy to not be regional manager, it would have been as simple as giving him his "aha" moment that he was being stretched too thin when he realized he had a passion for acting and resigned voluntarily, letting Dwight step up without interrupting something that obviously had momentum with Erin (also the two of them emotionally maturing together would have been amazing, because again as much as I love Pete and Erin, Erin choosing and wanting Andy was a lot more organic imo than just. Andy leaves on a boat. Like if you need him gone just say he gets really badly sick bc Erin's brother gives him a nasty cough. Or have Erin leave with him for the Bahamas or something and have her be the one calling in as Andy is captaining.)
But I digress
Michael Michael Michael. Where to begin
I keep saying this but I feel like the reason why the show got so rough after his departure was because everyone associates Michael with being bombastic, inappropriate, and spontaneous, but never with anything positive. And the writers saw his bad sides and just amplified them in the initial versions of Nellie, Robert, and DeAngelo.
Vickers was funny bc he's Will Ferrel and I like Will Ferrel, but he started overstaying his welcome bc the writers couldn't commit to him being any one thing, then the writers unceremoniously kill him off
Jo was fine bc she had both the hardass and vulnerable sides.
Robert California, boy what I could say about him. The writing got tangibly worse whenever he was onscreen bc like- it wasn't even that his actor wasn't familiar with comedy, it's that sex jokes get OLD SO FUCKING QUICKLY. AND ROBERT IS ONE GIANT SEX JOKE. It doesn't help that his behavior stems from his selfishness and he fails to recognize it whereas with Michael at least he tries to own up to things. Robert is just Elon Musk the person.
I'm glad Jan was able to get away and improve herself, she seemed to really love her kid. And then that final interaction kinda bucked that away
Uhhh let's see. Nellie. Initially SUPER annoying bc there is no way in hell anyone like that makes it through business. Like there were initially ZERO redeeming qualities to her. Until Andy decided to be an A-hole to her.
Honestly Andy was just mini-Michael but handled less well bc people were afraid he wouldn't be as cool as him, but that's because he's ANDY. Not MICHAEL. And he could have learned from Michael. But I guess not.
Somehow I really liked the overall queer vibes. The show's writing is old (see any time they talk about trans people) but the writers in general seemed to know trans people aren't demons.
Oh my goodness I am so glad Pam and Roy split. Roy was NOT healthy to be around back when they were together and Jim was TOTALLY good for her.
I'm gonna really miss being able to watch the show from the beginning again.
Something I am very critical of however (or like, just aware of) is how much of the humor is built on sexual harassment and assault like- beyond looney tunes or other cartoons the amount of workplace harassment, while on average likely accurate to any workplace, is genuinely disturbing at times.

Portraying high school boys’ love and friendship that started because of a certain misunderstanding, the youth romantic comedy manga “Kieta Hatsukoi” will have a drama adaptation. Michieda Shunsuke from Naniwa Danshi and Meguro Ren from Snowman, two who received praise for looking like they stepped out of the manga, will have a special talk about working together.
Getting along because of their favorite SMAP song
Michieda: He asked (Mukai) Koji-kun for my contact information as soon as the drama was confirmed. I think it’s cool how he casually showed care (for his kouhai).
Meguro: We can’t meet personally so we talked through text. But there are limits because of the distance.
Michieda: (laughs)
Meguro: I’m not the type that’s good with long-distance communication so it was hard for me. But when we actually met for script reading and interviews, I feel like we quickly got close during maybe our 2nd meeting.
Michieda: When we talked about something we had in common during an interview, Meguro-kun was surprised when I said our common point was that we both liked SMAP. He previously mentioned on TV that he listened to SMAP’s “Kono Shunkan, Kitto Yume Janai” while going to practice.
Meguro: It’s because until now no one had liked that same song that I liked a lot. So I was very happy that you liked it too!

Michieda: I don’t tell them much of the details. When drama becomes the topic while chatting with members, I tell them when I find the right timing.
Meguro: It’s hard to find the timing to tell members about a solo job, right?
Michieda: That’s why before the release of news, there are members who really know, and there are members who only know a bit. But everyone is happy for me. (Nishihata) Daigo-kun even went out of his way to say “Do your best-!“.
Meguro: Everyone in Snow Man also congratulated me. The other day, Raul sent me a mail saying “I’m really looking forward to it. I want to watch it soon.”. Sakuma (Daisuke), who read the original work, kindly said “I can’t see anyone else as Ida”. Wanting to meet everyone’s expectations made me want to work harder.
Michieda: Ida’s serious and awkward side and his airheaded side can already be seen during our script-reading so I am excited to shoot.
Meguro: Micchi is also perfect as Aoki. He already feels like Aoki.
Michieda: Aoki’s facial expression changes quickly, and his emotions vary a lot, so I want to express all that in my own way. The original work is a manga, so expressions like Aoki’s bulging eyes when staring at the eraser is hard to do (laughs).
Meguro: It’s not as much as Aoki’s, but Ida’s facial expressions are also often comical so I want to express that properly. Ida is someone who says what he genuinely thinks about Aoki, so I want to be able to properly do those cool scenes.
Michieda: In a photo shoot today too, I got shy just by staring at Meguro-kun. Aoki also has a lot of scenes where he gets shy because of Ida. I’m still thinking if it’s ok to release those as it is (laughs).
Meguro: Then, I will work hard to make Aoki feel shy (laughs).

Q: Would you two get along if you were actually classmates?
Meguro: I think we would get along. Because I find myself enjoying our conversations, and I feel like we really have the same wavelength.
Michieda: I feel the same. But Meguro-kun has a cool image so I might need courage if I want to talk to him.
Meguro: If our heights were the same as now, would we be next to each other if we were asked to line up according to our height?
Michieda: Ah! In school assemblies!
Meguro: We would be able to talk then.
Michieda: I feel like once we talk we would find out that we have a lot in common and then we’d get closer.
Meguro: Rather than an extrovert who loudly has fun with a lot of people, I find someone who stays alone in the classroom more interesting. Micchi has that image. Am I wrong?
Michieda: I am very noisy once we get close, but I am very shy at the start (laughs).
Q: Any episode when you felt your heart skip because of the other?
Meguro: When he carried me on his back for a magazine photo shoot. I am always the one carrying someone else, so having someone carry me after a long time made my heart skip (laughs).
Michieda: I thought “he’s tall” and “I don’t have strength” (laughs). For me, it was when Meguro-kun princess carried me. No one besides the members did it to me so I got embarrassed. In “Kieta Hatsukoi” Aoki’s heart also beats fast because of Ida, I’m sure it feels like this.
Meguro: I’m used to carrying someone so it was the same as usual for me (laughs).
Q: What kind of “heart flutter” do you want to give our readers?
Meguro: What I like about this work is the part where people have pure feelings and fall in love with another person. I think people who see this drama will also want to experience a pure kind of love that makes you think “it’s because it’s that person that I fell in love”.
Michieda: High school students Aoki and Ida are both awkward but still try to express their feelings through words. I think seeing them try their best to convey their feelings to each other will give that heart-throbbing feeling.
Meguro: The two of us haven’t had a lot of interactions, so please also look forward to our pair’s fresh chemistry.

SPOILERS for Locke and Key season 3 episode 8 (final episode)
Ok, I'm done. Wow, feels weird, honestly. Can't believe it's actually over...
So, first up, Gordie and Sam. I knew it, I freaking knew it. Doesn't mean I wanted it to happen though. Gordie dying, actually giving his last breaths to make sure Kinsey, Tyler and Ellie would make it out alive... ouch. Even worse, he tried to stop Gideon from breaking free. He tried, knowing that he was gonna die, to create a literal mental block strong enough to withhold Gideon. He didn't know the echo's strength so he failed, tragically. I know he was really only important for one episode but I hoped he'd make it. And as for Sam... as mentioned in previous posts, I cared a shit ton for that guy and his involvement. He definitely deserved better that that. Although I know that it was meant as payment and "debt forgiveness". Still hate it.
Now, Gideon. Wow I hate that guy. Cheers to the actor though, I don't know his name, but the way he delivered, man, he made me angry. Real impressive acting. And super happy this dude is gone!
Rufus, Ellie, Jamie and Josh, you know I love you guys, you're great, please always stay the way you are. Love how things ended for them, eventhough I'm a little sad Josh is never gonna know the truth and Jamie will forget eventually.
Duncan and Brian deserve happiness more than anything. I love them.
Gald to know The Savinis managed to finish the film and that it was really such a big success! Good for them. I could've watched the Q&A for hours, no problems. Really surprised Scot showed up but yay! (Shave though, please. He looks so... mature. Old.) Cool line with the Good, Better and Excellent thing. And I'm happy Kinsey might join him soon <3 I would have liked to see Jordan again though, just for old times sake, yknow?
I'm glad Tyler has found his peace, or at least some kind of it. I'm still not a huge fan of the whole Carly-thing, but a road trip sounds great and if Tyler really likes Montana so much, that's amazing! I know he'll miss keyhouse and I think he's gonna come back a lot of times, as often as possible. Even without any event, just because he wants to.
I know Nina is gonna do fine. She has Josh and her Kids and Ellie. She'll be happy. Bode too. He found a best friend in Jamie and is working on being on good terms with Josh (which, BTW, amazing! Love how the made that little peace offering. I think these twos will have a great relationship and will become very close friends).
Now as for what actually happened... I do like that the keys are gone now. And I like how they chose to resolve everything. Throwing the keys in meaning closing the portals was brilliant and brings everything to a nice end. I loved the montage for it, showing bits and pieces of what the keys did and what the characters went through with them (not everything, not a lot or even the main points, just moments were it fit, nothing to sad or emotional, just... epic, in a very simple way). It was well done, that's all I have to say.
And for maybe the most important scene I can just say yes. Yes, wow, thank you. I honestly had a few tears forming when they saw Rendell again. The conversation with him brought me closer to crying than anything this season has and the hug at the end let the tears spill. It fit perfectly but was also so sad to just suddenly see them in the hallway again, still hugging, just without Rendell. It was good to have that last conversation, I think.
For now, that's all I have. It's literally 45 min till midnight and I want to sleep, but watching it was worth it. Feels like some weird sense of closure at the moment.

L: what’s the weirdest AU you’ve come up with?
Somehow I feel like we could be here all day with this one. If there’s an AU, I’ve probably thought of it at least once, unless it was crossover, and even then, I did a very strange crossover waaaaaay back when.
There’s actually a toss-up: one is a Yu-Gi-Oh crossover I did with House M.D.
Plot: Kaiba is a wealthy benefactor to Princeton-Plainsboro hospital because House was able to diagnose Mokuba with an ataxia syndrome. While he’s there, he has a seizure and the team has to find out what’s wrong with him. I don’t recall what sort of disease he had, but at one point they thought it was Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, what is commonly called Mad-Cow Disease. It wasn’t that, that was the ‘scary’ diagnosis before they found out the real reason. Unfortunately, I don’t know what the real disease was.
This story is a beautiful combination of my nerdy fandoms, and if I was actually a doctor, I might have been able to write it convincingly.
Second: An Inuyasha stockcar/NASCAR AU
Plot: Sesshomaru is a driver who gets into a really bad accident on the track and ends up paralysed (I think?) and the power of love and hope from Rin helps him heal, and also there’s a big battle on the racetrack with Naraku at the end because there’s also magic still in this world, but I don’t remember anything other than what I told you. I was 13/14. It was not good.
K: Whats the angstiest plot you’ve come up with?
One that wasn’t shared and I exclusively kept in a notebook when I was a moody teenager ~16.
Kaiba is also an edgy teenager, he’s dealing with his literal internal self still talking to him. It was a very amateur look at depression and how e vis ourselves that more or less climaxed with him having a chess match with himself, and every wrong move he made, a corrosive goo was eating? him, threatening to let the “bad” version takeover. I think now I might be able to manage the plot about like….self-consuming depression and how it reflects on the outside better, but really it was an edg-y version of depression, self-hate, suicidal overtones with no actual plot other than suffering. Nothing like…tying it up.
It did spawn a poem I still remember:

On the wall

You love to give the thing I despise
And yet offer nothing to idolize

(There’s another stanza, about getting better and loving yourself, but I actually don’t remember it. This is the best recollection I have of a poem/drawing that I ripped up a loooooong ago).

Q: Any discarded plot lines/scenes/stories?
I had a whole ass story idea with three different chapters or so, set in Edo Perios Japan, wherein that Jounouchi is possibly a supernatural entity of some sort, but he’s thrown into a daimyo’s castle jail because he’s an unwanted foreigner possibly spreading Christianity which was very…unwanted at the time. They also barely let in any foreigners besides the Dutch.
The truth of the plot was that he knew a Hyakki Yagyō—a ghost parade in Japanese folklore—was due to pass through the town with the castle. He was something like a witch who could sense these things, perhaps even a half-demon (hadn’t decided), but his rambling just came off as crazy. So eventually, he was going to get just Kaiba and Mokuba out of the castle before it caught fire, mostly because he can convince the brothers and become a little enamoured with Kaiba, but also because Kaiba and Mokuba are under rather brutal conditions from Gozaburo, the daimyo of the castle, who pretty much would feed his sons to the wolves for a shred of power from the shogun.
So yeah.
