Hey hey hey :D what's UPPP? I have very important request. So, the 'gang' as Brett likes to call them, x reader. (Inside job x reader) Now, the reader is like, really sleepy. Sleeps all day everyday. He's not one for bragging, but he will tell everyone at work about it, in or outside of the gang. He's just excited you made something like this.

Can't say he would get annoyed that you spend most of your time on it, but he can only make so many excuses to JR/the higher-ups.

Reagan

It's a bit of jealousy or pure impression for Reagan, she is extremely impressed but suprised in herself that she didn't think of it first.

Will join you in your cloud, and for the first time in her life, she sleeps well [/hj]

She pesters you on how you made it, and ngl, even if you don't tell her, she'll probably figure out how to make one.

Gigi

She thinks it's the most amazing thing you've made.

Unlike Brett, she WILL brag about it to anyone who listens.

She's so haughty about it that the gang kinda has to stop her, but, in the end, she's very proud of you.

Isn't the biggest fan of laying in the cloud with you, but will find you in goofy poses to take pictures of you in. She may or may not post about it depending on how much you care.

Myc

Honestly, I don't know how much Myc would like the cloud.

He would probably find it weird.

Cue forward to a couple of weeks later when he gets high as shit and is floating around with you, fast asleep.

The gang would be like "Where the hell are Myc and [Y/n]" and boom, you two are conked out on the cloud.

Andre

Like Myc, he's going to get high as hell on your cloud.

If you three ever go missing, the rest of the gang has a pretty good idea of where you went.

He's obsessed with the cloud ngl.

Honestly surprised that someone was doing Inside Job requests. Even though I only could of read one I really liked it. Anyways could you please do a Reagan Ridley x Reader? Like under a scenario in which you were hired and she sees you as competition as you’re a tech genius yourself.

A/N: There's a couple of people who do requests for Inside Job!! Little shoutout to @insidemalewife and @cognitosclowns ajfshkf. I love both of their works, but trust me, there's a lot of good writers that will do Inside job requests 4 you hun <3

When Reagan heard that she was getting another person in her little gang, she didn't think much of it, like, okay, cool. Everyone else was a bit more excited than she was.

But when you finally join the group, she's a bit taken aback, and not going to lie, she's a little, uh, offended? Not particularly at you, but more at J.R. Two techies? Really?

She won't really talk to you, and if you try to talk to her, she keeps it short. She doesn't like what she feels around you, and even if she can hide it around you, the rest of the team can see it.

They've all known her for god knows how long, so someones going to say something. Well. When I say someone I mean Brett.

He'd pull Reagan aside and she'd tell him that she's frustrated and everything else that's happening.

"So you're jealous?"

Oh. Well. Brett really made her think. Was she really jealous of you?

Brett assures her repeatedly that you're both smart, and you're both good at doing your own things. He tries. And it does help.

She tries to talk to you, and to her own surprise, it's not too terrible. She still doesn't like that you're in her department, but you slowly grow on her.

It still does annoy her when someone praises you when she's right there with something as equally as good.

Though that sort of changes when you confide in her that you don't feel as good or accomplished as her. You tell her that you've looked up to her, and everyone's excepting you to be like her, but you don't feel like you are.

This sort of destroys Reagan's own image of you. She thought you were high and mighty about your creations, kinda like she is, but no, you weren't, and hell, you look up to her.

She makes more of an effort to get to know you, and help you out, and she wouldn't tell you because she'd be ever so embarrassed, but she enjoys being around you.

Reagan isn’t the biggest romantic. We see this in the show, and from context clues, but when she gets it together that she’s into you and wants to try, if not actually romance you? Well she’s in a pickle

It’ll start off as small things like if you two work together, she’ll bring you coffee/tea/etc in, small things that she remembers that you like

She’s not a big talker

She’ll ask the others to help her figure out what you like, and she’ll spend a while putting together a list, or ideas, or even things to do with you.

Overall, it’s going to be small things. Like remembering something that means a lot to you, or getting you concert tickets that you really wanted.

One big way that she’ll “romance” you or Reagan’s version of romance, is to listen. Listen to you talk, and talk and put in her two cents. Talking to you and getting to know you better is one of the biggest ways she’ll romance you.

HCs for how Reagan relaxes after a long day's work? I can't imagine it's with wine and bubble baths, even if that's what she deserves c':

A/N: OOOOO sadly you're probably right- Probably wouldn't get even the chance cause of Rand. Well here's my hcs for how she relaxes fkashfj hope u enjoy!

After particularly long missions, there's nothing Reagan wants to do more than to relax and just de-stress, but she where she lives and who she lives with, she knows she isn't going to get that.

The first way she'd probably relax is a nap, if it's quiet enough and if she can actually get herself to sleep, cause God knows this woman does not sleep. Like at all.

If sleeping fails, she's probably going to take a very long shower. I don't think she'd take long warm showers, or really cold ones, but maybe somewhere in the middle. Though she should probably take cold ones as they do help with stress.

Reagan's gotten pretty good at ignoring her dad, so she probably can watch tv well enough and not have to deal or hear his bull shit.

Probably orders delivery, and something not too heavy, maybe like pasta or something hearty. If she's feeling just that shitty, she'll probably order a pizza. Cause when all else fails, pizza is a pretty decent go-to.

If Reagan knows Brett had a shitty day too, she'll probably call him. It won't be a long conversation but I can see her checking in on him and vice versa.

Some more random things she does to relax is probably invent stuff. It's what she likes doing, but the catch here is, it isn't work-related. It's going to be the most random prototype for something you'd see on like Phineas and Ferb. Kinda useless but it helps keep Reagan's brain turning.

Now if it's the shittiest day she's had, and she really needs to cut loose, I can see her getting shit-faced drunk. Alone too. Brewing in her thoughts cause she doesn't want anyone to have to witness what state she's in. It might end up in a random fling but that has a very low chance of happening.

Hiii! i hope you're doing well, can i get a inside job match up? this is actually my first.

5'0, dark auburn hair. 5 ear piercings, two tattoos on both of my middle finger, medium 90's natural blowout hair. Leg and thighs bruises and scars, pale skin and dark brown eyes. Pansexual and go by any pronouns.

So like the surface level when like no one knows me too much, i have this meek almost quiet demeanor, i would seem like someone who would blend in easily in a crowd and just keep to herself while generally i am very friendly and approachable, it's terribly hard to get real close to.

But when people do get to know me, while i still have quiet, friendly facade - it would be fun, i'm individualistic and caring to those who like are around me, i tend to do stupid things like not give up, yet people say i'm often unpredictable so that means there is never a boring day with me? Like i'll be knocking at your doorstep and wake you up at 3:00 am "we gotta fucking hide the dead body." Or drunk texting you, late at night. I could be assertive n straightforward when i needed to and tend to fall victim to peer pressure at certain points, i find it difficult at times to say no, especially to the people who i trust and withdraw from social situations. Though, i don't trust people that easily even they are my loved ones - i always stay cautious, always keep things in check. Whenever someone joking flirts with me, i'll be either flustered mess, try to avoid the situation, saying "shut up, you're not funny" or flirt back.

Risk-taker, always tired, love sleeping and can sleep for longer hours or less, drains out when it comes to social interactions, studious, can be blunt, obsessive personality when it comes to engaging in new hobbies or newfound interests. Curiosity gets the best of me. So, i'm very introverted.

In my free time, i would do detail drawing like messy sketches of machinery, skeletons, human anatomy, flowers and dead animals: possibly gorey, but using soft and elegant colors, i'm also a bookworm. Crosswords, play guitar, spend time listening to podcast it be either, murder + crime podcast or philosophy. Baking, i love to bake and make coffee for people, so i'll probably bring your fav coffee in the next morning.

Cat. She has a cat. Like I don't see her with any other pet. She just loves cats.

She might either get like a sphynx cat. I can really see her getting one, just because I also see Rand having an allergy to fur, and growing up it was the only cat she could get.

If not a sphynx, she'd probably get a ragdoll/russian blue.

Reagan would not be serious when naming her cat, but also she wouldn't name it something like Cheerio.

Probably would settle for something like naming after Telsa. I think it'd be funny. Or a complete 180 and name it something like Mochi.

Brett

Dog.

Dog person right here.

My first thought was a golden retriever. Cause LOOK at him. He is one so it'd make sense, right?

After a bit more thought, he'd either get a small/medium-sized dog. Not sure why, but I feel like a smaller dog would fit Brett pretty well.

So either like a bull terrier, a pit bull, or even like a chow-chow.

If he gets a pit bull, he's naming it either Pitbull or "Mr Worldwide". Just watch him do it.

If he doesn't he'll probably do one of those cheesy names or straight-up name his dog "Ted" or something.

Gigi

Bird. She loves birds. Finds them so pretty.

She's going to get a lovebird. She thinks they're so pretty and thinks they match her so well.

Will get the most giant cage for her single bird. You just know that she's going to fill it with all sorts of toys and little bird wheels and hell, even a pool.

Or complete 180, she'd get a tiger.

Myc

Myc shouldn't have a pet. Like. He would scare the poor thing. I don't think whatever pet would know or even understand what he is.

Probably would get a fish. Thinks they're funny-looking. He would name his pet something cheesy. It's not above him. He will name his fish Goldie if given the chance.

Or, just for shits and giggles, I could totally see him getting a capybara. Hey, it is legal in some places to own one.

He'd just find it so funny to bring it and show off his pet to the gang and watch them be like, "Wtf????"

German shepherd.

Like, I can see him getting one 100%.

Glenn probably has PTSD so his german shepherd is a service animal.

request time based on some writing that I'm planning on working on but haven't gotten around to yet: REAGAN AND BRETT ROOMMATES

A/N: Omg anon I was literally brainstorming Reagan + Brett roomie hcs while watching the show earlier. These two would be like the best roommates. [Spinoff show when ajfdshfs????] Anywayzzz enjoy!]

Reagan and Brett would probably move into an apartment together when Reagan finally snaps and has enough of her dad, which tbh would happen pretty fast, I could see her moving out at the end of Season 1.

The two are going to have some hard times living with each other, seeing how they're both different personality-wise and like wise.

Some random hcs is that Brett will make dinner more times than not, not that Reagan doesn't cook, I just see Brett cooking more and being good at it [he probably had to learn how to cook for himself].

Brett doesn't know how to do some things, and so Reagan would naturally teach him. Not bad things though, like he doesn't know how to change batteries in the smoke alarm or like, how to set the laundry machine.

Reagan and Brett, [unless you ship them and think they would share one] would have two separate rooms. I just think Reagan would have so much shit, electronic wise that Brett would need his own room. Reagan isn't messy, she just has so much stuff and so little room.

Reagan was worried when Brett first agreed to get an apartment with her, cause she was unsure how loud Brett would be, but he's actually pretty good at being aware of how loud he's being and being mindful of Reagan.

They probably do have a lot of TV dinners, and at least once a week will binge old movies or tv shows. It's their bonding time.

I can see them getting some sort of animal. Brett's more of a dog person, and Reagan's more a cat person. Well, Brett doesn't really mind, but he'd probably like dogs more just because they're as easily excited as he is.

They'd probably get a pet that they wouldn't have to do a lot of work for, just because of work I feel they wouldn't always have time to take care of the pet. So they probably just would get a hamster or fish if I'm being honest.

Random hc moment but I think Brett would steal Reagan's shirts, not that they would fit him, but he'd think they're comfy. Reagan would have to stop him real quick from wearing them or face having ruined clothes. It's not Brett's fault that his chest is so big :(

When one of the two gets sick, they both end up getting sick. Though if Brett manages not to get sick, he'll still take time off to take care of Reagan, making sure that she's drinking plenty of fluids and sleeping the sickness off, as she probably wouldn't be doing that.

BINGING BAKING SHOWSSS-

It started off as a just-Reagan-thing, but then somehow Brett got into it as well, so they'll just have cooking show marathons.

They're such good roommates pleaseeee- Like they're both so respectful of each other, and wouldn't drive each other up the wall.

Bonus hc: Brett helps Reagan find a therapist to talk to over Zoom/Skype/etc because she'd probably find it easier than face to face.

Literally the best two roommates. Make it happen in season 2 please Netflix- Let Reagan not live with Rand anymore.
