this is based off a december tradition in nz where you drink a whole crate of beer (12 bottles) before midnight starting at 12pm! also theres a dress code which is a singlet and short shorts known as stubbies.

its called crate day and is held on the first saturday of december

The tears in their friendship could never be sewn to resemble what it was once under one night, but right here, facing his friend as his last opponent in the tournament and across from his hotel room, Red breathed a little easier for the first time in a long while.
