As much as I enjoy Neo, I think she was the wrong villain to drop into Wonderland with the squad. Her conflict with Ruby doesn't thematically lend itself to the current arc of self-doubt and weight of responsibility (plus any resolution of Neo's revenge arc will probably end up with her dead since the writers have no idea what to do with her)
Even if Neo calmed down long enough to somehow communicate her grievance of losing Roman, nothing would really come of it. He was an enemy who died in front of Ruby, not because of her. His death is a footnote at best considering two of her friends died in front of her within like, an hour. So, if Ruby tells the truth of Roman's demise, then there's only two outcomes. Neo either thinks she's lying (which would be dumb. There's literally nothing to gain from it) and keeps attacking her until one of them is dead/left behind in Wonderland or Neo believes her and...???
(Seriously where can Neo go after this conflict is resolved? She doesn't care about Salem's cause, there's no one who cares about her, and she probably can't return to her previous life of crime since she was based in Vale. Neo's entire existence revolves around Roman; take that away and you have even less than a ghost)
You know who would be able to excel in a chaotic world and take advantage of Ruby's mental instability? Tyrian
This guy is able to bypass the barriers that keep someone safe, both literally with his ignore-aura seblance and metaphorically. When the writers aren't playing up the "woohoo wacky crazy psycho" schtick, which gets real old real fast, Tyrian is one of the most adept psych-analysts in the entire show. This guy read Mercury and Emerald like the morning newspaper even though they kept their distance from everyone but Cinder
In her current state, Tyrian could pick Ruby apart petal by petal until not even a bud remains. Or better yet, try getting her to align with Salem
"It's so sad, isn't it? You put in all that work, did all that planning, and Atlas still fell. The relic lost. Your friend died.
"I know you did your best. But it wasn't good enough. You weren't good enough.
"Such a big burden placed on such young shoulders isn't right. You tried so hard to save everyone, but no one has ever tried to save you, have they? Everyone has failed you. Ozpin, Ironwood, Qrow, even your friends down here. Too wrapped up in themselves to notice your struggles.
"But you don't have to do it anymore, Ruby. No more fighting, no more betrayal, no more dying. All you have to do is help Mistress get two itty bitty relics, and it will all be over.
"After all, you didn't ask for this."

No fugitive arc....but what if hero+partner just. willingly leave pokemon square to go on a little journey themselves...in an effort to find out more about humans and the natural disasters happening...also alakazam goes with the team bc he wants to see if he can find out more about the natural disasters and trusts charizard and tyranitar at pokemon square if anything happens...and gengar's team might leave too and try and follow you...
and so ur team+alakazam travel to the largest library on the air continent or something. he's suspicious that youre being followed but he. seems confident he can handle whoevers tailing you all. which he could. but anyways hero finds information on humans and stuff(one of the books has a part about small legends and stuff one of them being the ninetales curse. which makes hero feel anxious, as well as a little sad bc. gardevoir.) they tell partner and alakazam about this and theyre like. idt you have anything to worry about. heros like. oh sure. ofc....(still feels terrible about it.) moving on tho i think that later that this is when gengar would either get his ass kicked by alakazam in a very one sided fight. OR his team would confront him. which in that case. i think this is possibly when the truth about him being a former human would come out too
and while theyre all gone an absol shows up to pokemon square to warn of an oncoming disaster to the town....

Jaune is a terrible character
I like him but he had a terrible development.
Now that RT has closed and the question remains who will want to take the risk, stay with Rwby and still have to pay Warner.
Warner is in bad legs, full of debts to pay.
It was revealed by a profile that Rwby is not making a profit unfortunately he didn't give data which would be very important but said that volume 9 had no money to be made and that it was a loan... Well the studio closed.
I believe it has already happened that good studios have closed but... are usually closed because of greed or "Woker"
Japan studios Play Station
About Jaune, he has a lot of problems.
His past is non-existent, we will not have any information about his parents or your other sisters.
He forged documents to get into Beacon, but there's a big problem with this story called Glynda, she would have noticed something wrong with it.
The worst part is that we don't know how big the Arc family was. Why are the only known family members Saphron, who has nothing to show, and Jaune.
V4 and V5 showed almost everyone's family.
It showed Ren's family who died and Nora's mother who died.
There was also "Pyrrha's mother"
But we didn't have a picture of his family.
That drawing showing him and his sisters doesn't count.
He is taking too long to evolve and I still don't see reason for him to go to Mistral and Atlas.
Why did he lose trust in Ozpin, Lion betrayed his kingdom and sold the hunters' location. Of the 4 Headmaster, Ozpin is carefree and paranoid, Lion is a coward, James he went crazy but still wanted to save the world, Teodoro... I don't know much about.
If it weren't for him, Weiss would have died, but I still don't see a reason for him to go, he's terrible in battle. It's still bad but he's not terrible.
I find it incredible that his parents never came after him.
IT'S YOUR SON WHO IS MISSING! They probably knew where he was.
V9 already been "confirmed" that has not been paid. They took out a loan to make the V9 and apparently they didn't pay it.
I wish, I had the data, but I don't. It was the same thing Sony did with the sales figures for Marvel Spider-Man Miles Morales, they only came because of a leak.
Proving that Peter Parker sells more than Miles.
Rusted Knight... The idea is cool, I read a little of the book and at the end and the idea is cool.
A warrior trapped in his own armor, obsessed with the desire to be a knight.
As I said, the idea is good but... Excursion is bad.
None of my experiences were surpassed, in fact they were all frustrated. As much as I liked the idea of an older Jaune, I wish he was more serious, even angrier. He looks like an idiot and a crying baby.
I want the Rusted Knight and Jaune were two separate figures.
Rusted Knight appeared because Jaune's armor was cursed and he couldn't take it off and he had no control over his body and his conscience got stuck in his own head.
In the final battle, he would free himself with the help of Team WBY and show his berserker side.
It would be a big change to the character.
But unfortunately it didn't happen.
About revenge against Cinder.
The only ones who came close to killing her were Jaune and Winter.
Those damn silver eyes don't help, and Cinder has a damn Grimm arm that makes her suffer a lot.
I just hope whoever buys RWBY develops more other characters.
Sun, Velvet, Glynda, Tai Yang, fuck even Cardin. They have the potential to be good characters.
Avatar Last Airbender. The episode The Storm develops Aang and Zuko at the same time but from a completely different point of view. Aang tells his past to Karata and Iroh reveals Zuko's past to his soldiers who understands Zuko's point of view.
And famous episode Zuko alone.
No, because the work is called RWBY, the world revolves around them.
Just take the Baki work, in many Baki sagas secondary characters get a lot of prominence. Sumo Saga Oliva has been humiliatingly defeated and is back for revenge.
Jack Hanma has his own saga in Baki Rahen. Where the protagonist of the work is called Baki Hanma.
It is ridiculous to say that just because a work or series has the name of the protagonist, it must focus only on the protagonist.
I'll wait for what happened with RWBY and I had the V10, I am going to pretend madness and pretend that the V10 never happened like the remake of Avatar the legend of Aang.

Another hot take, RT knows nothing about character development. Even Jaune has nothing to show after volume 3, but the worse crime is volume 9, he spent 15 years in the EF and he still is a mediocre fighter. Is as if RT is scared of the backlash if they give him screentime and good fighting abilities.
Now hold on, they’re excellent at developing them into flatter and worse versions of themselves.
It sometimes feels like they’re playing a game of telephone with themselves and the result gets worse with each season.
But on the Jaune front, V9 put a good amount of effort into showing his development both physically and mentally. You picked probably the worst example for critiquing how they fail to develop characters.

RWBY x Justice Leauge comments
For my actual review see (https://www.tumblr.com/daniels-rwby-blog/715604149128118272/this-is-pretty-much-what-ive-got-to-say-except?source=share)
This is just a lil something else:
I gotta say the animation and shots for this movie are awesome, like casually talking everyone has great fluidness and physics, and as "rwbyed" as JL's costumes are they move well for a RWBY episode. I mean it's nothing like V9 but it's more than on par with V8 or v7. At 54:15 as Weiss and Bruce fight the Grimm and the bees and wonder woman show up, Yang's jump punch is amazing and her hair is better than anything we've seen before.
Plus immediately after in the super fun anxiety closet with Jaune and Jessica, the framing as the crumbles from the walls moving in and FX and smoke is great.
Then at 56:07 as yang asks weiss what's going on, her hand (yeah ik it gets explained if you watch the film) on Blake, is amazingly well done, and Dina's little effects are hilarious, the way the animation and blocking shows how the JL adjust to being teens as stupid a plot point as that is, it looks great.
Which is not something I would have thought to say about RWBY 7 or 8 years ago.
As for plot, this obviously is not canon. It's like a really good fanfic and i like it that way, but the ending and the way team RWBY interact make it seem like it fits, near enough into mid V7 likely before the Schnee dinner and just after becoming licensed huntsmen.
Firstly the way the bees act is how I would expect them to act in order for Blakes flirting to make sense in V9.
Coming out of the end of V6 Blake knows yang is important to her, i don't think she has love in mind just yet but as we see during v7's bee scenes they care about each other a lot more now, we see this Blake jumping in to be by yang's side and reassuring Yang as she fights in the air with Dianna, things she will do again in the ponder-storm in V9, as she guides yang to the confession of a decade that is 🐝.
Meanwhile yang while coming around to Blake, hasn't latched on just yet, she knows when she's pushing blakes buttons and clearly cares what Blake thinks of her (they haven't confessed so yang still thinks what she thought on the bridge likely worse as well) but she isn't as connected or as longing to be by blakes side, a s Blake is for her.
However, like blakes shy and closed off shadowy character now being ready for joking and even flirting, following Adams death. Yang also feels more relaxed understanding Blake more and being open to a bit more flirtatious activity, but still gets stun locked by wonder woman, cause she doesn't realize yet that what she and Blake has is love.
This all makes sense for the show leading up to this point and what follows in V9
The reason V9 is so open, particularly from Blake, is that she realizes the slow burn she had with yang was taking Yang for granted and falling off the world made her realize that and start going in strong. She is determined to get everything she can out of this relationship and she will never take it for granted again.
When the ponder storm hits SHE, guides the normally headfirst yang into the confession, while allowing yang to come to her own conclusions (hence i think qualifying from yang only)
Additionally by this point Renora hasn't kissed yet, i mean Nora and Ren have a lot more history, they had all of V4,V5,V6, V7 to get over beacon and start relationships again, compared to the V6 wonder that was the bees getting together again.
Renora in the film sees a third party, unlike the one off remark on wonder woman that number one dark haired ladies simp Yang had, cyborg pushes Ren out of his comfort zone a bit by heading for Nora, ultimately this doesn't lead to anything more than a misunderstanding but it shows that Ren while not making the first move in the kiss, at least knows that he wants to be with Nora, showing that ReNora was paced well for a V7 confirm.
As for Arkos? Well i don't think I need to explain Arkos and its timing.
And no, I will not talk about WR.
Alright that's it from me on the movie, I'll keep saying some stuff (watched it 7 times now woooo)
But that's about all there is to it, it looks pretty, it makes the ships make more sense if it were Cannon.
Again I'm not saying it's canon, but this is what I'd expect from V7 Blake and Yang and V7 ReNora if placed in this situation when their characters were at the stage they should be for the kisses to make sense.
I'd highly recommend The Beethis by @bees-shitposting
For more on why bumblebee isn't coming out of nowhere, remember stay chill y'all
And DFTBA!
