Since the prompts for @zexalmonth are based on tarot cards (which is super cool) I thought it would be fun to draw them like cards too! I tried to emulate the stats in the Anime with the frame. Also I don't think anyone would want to but you could theoretically use them as a phone background because of the canvas size!

Todays Card is "The Empress"! I wanted to draw Rio, because she has one of my favourite Yu-Gi-Oh! Designs ever. I also like how she and Shark look related without being copies of each other. I debated wheather I should do color or black and white but I feel like it's more dramtic this way^^ I hope you like it! #zexal month 2023

The Magician is todays card of @zexalmonth! We were asked about our favourite Card and honestly I don't really have favourite Cards I think... I tend to just like the Decks of my favourite characters...

However I wanted to draw gagaga girl because her design is so cute! She also fits the Magician card quite well I think. (I guess gagaga magician would've been even better but I just really wanted to draw her!) #zexal month 2023

We're slowly reaching the end of @zexalmonth. Today's card is Judgement and the prompt was about crossovers.

I didn't draw a card today because I had this idea for a crossover that I REALLY wanted to do but it just didn't fit on a vertical format.

Kind of funny how in the prompt it says that zexal ended a long time ago and to bring it a little bit of new life we should think of crossovers with fandoms we're into at the moment... And the thing I'm into is a band that disbanded over 50 years ago... mission failed I guess? ^^'

This was so much fun though! I tried to kinda match the expressions and hand poses (though I had to switch George's cigarette for a duel card because shark is too young to smoke XD)

Is there an award for the most random crossover? Because I feel like this would be a contender...^^

Todays card for @zexalmonth is the Chariot. We were suppoesed to imagine what kind of other hobbies the characters would have and I think something like ice skating would fit Tori quite well!

I enjoyed drawing the pose for this one very much. I hope you like it.

On a side note, does anyone else feel like people are too hard on Tori? Yes she might be a very passive character, but I think for someone who doesn't really duel she is still quite involved in the action and of course super supportive. I guess it's not the best writing of a female character (which we experience quite too often sadly with yugioh) but I think you can critizise the writing without being mean to poor Tori XD (sorry for the little rant) #zexal month 2023

Alright! todays card for @zexalmonth is the Hierophant and the prompt is about Outfits and Outfits changes.

With how much Quattro talks about fans and stuff like that I just knew I had to draw him in k-pop/singer inspired attire.

Honestly without context the cards I'm drawing look sooo random ^^' But I'm having a lot of fun with them. I think it would be cool to print them out for myself.

I got around to watching "Irresponsible Captain Tylor"! (It's on Youtube btw). It's a really fun show and Tylor is just great. I was never able to figure out how he would react to situations which makes it so interesting to watch! ^^ Also he's just so chill. I wish I could be a little more like that haha.

I love the 90s-Anime aesthetic and tried to incoporate a little bit of it in this fanart. I hope you like it!

“Role reversal” was honestly the prompt I was looking foward to the most! For this I switched the time periods they both live in. Inu Yasha is still a demon but lives in the present, while Kagome is a Miko from the past. The drawing is supposed to show their first meeting, as Inu Yasha climbs out of the well. 

I tried to do the lineart with a brush for this one and honestly it was such a hassle. Not doing that again. It doesn’t even look that great :(

Todays Card of @zexalmonth is "Death"! And the prompts are all about the future! When zexal month started I thought I didn't have any OCs... Whew, if you see this maybe give it some love, cause it took a lot longer than expected ^^’  I kind of fell down the Robert Sheehan Rabbit Hole and watched a lot of stuff he’s in (surprisingly you can find a lot on youtube). So I decided to draw some of my favourite characters/performances together. In the middle is Nathan. I think it’s obvious why I had to include him ^^  On the left we have Sean from “Bad Samaritan”. I really like him because he makes tons of rational and understandable decisions throughout the movie, while learning from his mistakes and just being an all around nice person.  On the right is Ivan from “Killing Bono” and he’s here mostly because of the outfit ^^’ but also because the acting in the scene where he finds out what his brother did is just *chefs kiss*. I actually googled if that happened in real life and thank god it was pretty different. But it made for good drama in the movie.

Soo, unfortunatly I really dislike Yashahime. That’s why even though Morohas Design is cute I didn’t want to draw her specifically in a fanart. So for this illustration you can kind of decide for yourself who the child is they’re parenting. Maybe they are just babysitting Miroku und Sango’s youngest, who knows.

So, it’s inukag week again! This is my third year^^ For some reason I made it a tradition to use inukag week as a chance to practise my watercolor skills. It’s still a struggle though, oh well... 

The first prompt this year is “domestic”, so I drew Inu Yasha and Kagome doing some chores together.

Eh don’t mind me drawing fanart for a show like 13 years too late... I don’t even know if I can really recommend watching it. The premise is really cool but there are a lot of inappropriate jokes especially for todays standarts. Just keep that in mind.
