It's a pretty simple question, math be like:

(a^2 + b^2 = c^2 + d^2)

= (a^2 + b^2 + c^2 + d^2) = (a^2 + b^2 + c^2 + d^2) = a^2 + b^2 + c^2

= (a^2 + b^2 + c^2 + d^2) = (a^2 + b^2 + c^2 + d^2)

So we look at that calculation and see:

(a^2 + b^2 + c^2 + d^2) = (a^2 + b^2)^2 + (b^2 + c^2)^2 = (a^2 + b^2)^2

Now stuffing this into fitzroy's formula:

a(x) = (a^2)^x

Now we get

a(a(x)) = a(a(x))^2 = a(a(a(x)) + b(x))^2,

Now we get

5(a(a(x))^2) = 5(a(a(x)) + b(x))^2 + 3(b(x))^2 = x,

We have:

5(a(x))^2 = x = 5(a(a(x)) + b(x))^2 + 3(b(x))^2

Using fitzroy's ruling:

x = 5(a(a(x)) + b(x))^2 + 3(b(x))^2

Multiply by zero:

x = zero

And cancel:

(a(x))^2

= x

> a(x) = 5(x)^2

> a(x) + 5(x)^2 = x

(a(x))^2

= zero

And we're done!

I dislike how you use the definition of copingkin for c'linker. You say 'if you are kin entirely for coping reasons'--some coping mechanisms aren't chosen and trauma away robs culpability--you imply one has the same culpability under trauma.

I think I haven’t clarified my definition very well, and that’s totally on me. A copinglinker is, by definition, someone who chooses their kintype/ID/nonhuman-ness to cope. Someone who has a kintype they didn’t choose, but copes through that anyways, is not by definition a copinglinker. 

For example, I have a kintype as Luke Skywalker (that sentence sounds really awkward, unrelated but I really wish there was a better way of saying “this is my kintype” without the words sounding weird together, back on topic now!) that I did not choose, and I only awakened as such about... oh, nine months ago or so? And that identity has helped me cope with other situations. Asking myself “What would I have done when I was Luke?” honestly calms my temper when it flares and reminds me to take a breath and accept the life I’m going through. So, I didn’t choose my kintype, nor did I choose to have it help me cope, but here we are, doing those things. 

I don’t really know how else to explain it? Copinglinkers are people who identify as nonhuman to cope. They aren’t otherkin, but that’s not a bad thing! If I’m not explaining this well enough, feel free to let me know and I’ll figure something else out.
