While appearing in inflatable costumes and a pink "Glamping Squad" t-shirt in episodes of Bus Bros, Scotty still has fun without his partner-in-crime Josef Newgarden; he wore an inflatable Pikachu costume to a race in Australia during the 2022 IndyCar offseason, and his wife wore a matching Pikachu hoodie dress. Scotty might be the easygoing guy everyone wants to have a beer with off-track, but on track he is a fierce competitor. He and the Thirsty 3's (his #3 Penske squad) enjoy a cult following.

At last week’s test at Sebring International Raceway, Pratt Miller Motorsports gave the world a first look at their new Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z06 GT3.R with a familiar yellow livery and their new Forgeline one piece forged monoblock SS1R-GT wheels. Pratt Miller Motorsports will campaign the new factory-homologated Corvette racecar as part of a 2-car racing effort in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GTD PRO class, beginning in the 2024 season. Pratt Miller worked with the team at Forgeline Motorsports for several years to develop an application-specific version of Forgeline’s center-locking one piece forged monoblock SS1R-GT wheel that was engineered to deliver optimized performance metrics (in terms of mass, deflection, strength, and durability) specifically for the new Corvette GT3.R.
