TM King Ekert and Queen Olena of Trenton

After defeating his brother and becoming King, King Ekert's next mission was to find a wife. News of King Ekert's search eventually reached the shores of the Glassworth. At the time, Glassworth was an island kingdom off the southern shores of Trenton.

King Ferdinand, later to be known as the Last King of Glassworth, proposed the idea his only child and heir, Crown Princess Olena, marry King Ekert and merge the two kingdoms. Glassworth was a prosperous kingdom and King Ferdinand was beloved by his people. King Ekert initially believed this proposal to be some sort of trick.

Out of desperation, King Ferdinand sent his wife, Queen Anya, and daughter to Trenton to try and reason with King Ekert. Even if Ekert refused to marry the princess, King Ferdinand wanted his wife and child to be safe. What King Ekert didn't know was King Ferdinand's exiled brother King Darien, self proclaimed King of Brido, was planning to attack Glassworth and Glassworth did not have the military strength to oppose them.

As the son of King Epidarius, a man that defeated tyrants and united the kingdoms of Trenitalia, King Ekert knew he needed to support Glassworth. Upon their marriage, Crown Princess Olena of Glassworth became HM Queen Olena of Trenton, Duchess of Glassworth. Glassworth became a duchy of Trenton and was now supported by the full force of Trenton's military. King Darien's forces were defeated and he returned to Brido empty handed.

To honor King Ferdinand's sacrifice, King Ekert decreed that the Duchy of Glassworth would only be held by the consort of the current reigning monarch.

King Ekert and Queen Olena had one child, Princess Edwena (she'll get her own moment in history at some point)

As hairstyles became more elaborate in the 1400s as did the head wear. The once demure crispinettes of the 1300s started to grow in size and travel higher up over the ears, until eventually morphing into the ostentatious hennins and escoffions we typically associate with women's medieval head wear. 🍄 ACNH Mushroom Set 🍄

*The mushroom seat reminded me of Little Miss Muffet, so we're having a couple spiders with this set (also they could be useful for the Simstober challenge in a few months, which I get very excited about!)

The functional lamp in this set does not have edited vertex paint, because my vertex paintbrush is not working properly. If any creator out there wants to add it because they like the item and want to do that, please do, and please let me know. I would update the file with your fix and credits to you.

Use the scale up & down feature on your keyboard to make the items larger or smaller to your liking. If you have a non-US keyboard, it may be different keys depending on which alphabet it uses.

Always suggested: bb.objects ON, it makes placing items much easier. For further placement tweaking, check out the TOOL mod.

My sims 4 broke during the new update, so decided to go back to a fresh rotational Pleasantview. Played Don's first few days first and nothing happened really outside the scripted events so moved onto the Goth's pretty fast. Mortimer and Dina got both engaged and married on the first date (truly in her Lana era) and I've decided to make them all live together, including Dina and Don, in the manor so we will have to see how this family wreath plays out in the future.

(BTW I would like to thank @platinumaspiration for their new default hair system and how much it has REVOLUTIONISED my game already)

In the early part of the 17th century holdovers from the Tudor period continued to be in style, but soon enough the iconic ruff would evolve into delicate soft and standing lace collars. By the 1620s women's fashion - and by extension their accessories - became a lot more simple. Hats kept growing in size from the previous century, both in width and height. Pearls were HUGELY popular as they were a way to display wealth. In fact, it's hard to find a woman's portrait from this period that doesn't feature pearl jewellery.
