Four Corners (Riley's Story) - Townies & NPCs Pool

As requested, I've created an optional townie/NPC pool for Four Corners (aka Riley's Story). It can be downloaded here.

Now, you can finally play Four Corners, with its original lore, as well as with its original townies and NPCs, exactly as they were in Sims Life Stories! (... or at least recreate your own stories after EA's official story was over, say, make Riley fall for Donte XD)

How to Use:

Put the folder SLSR into your Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Open For Business\TSData\Res\NeighborhoodTemplate Note: If you have The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection, put it here instead: Program Files\Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Best of Business\EP3\TSData\Res\NeighborhoodTemplate

To use, just add the townie&NPC pool as a subhood to Four Corners (or any other neighborhood you wish) and you're good to go! You may delete the subhood afterwards. It's really only meant to deliver the townies/NPCs into your neighborhood… kinda like a stealth hood.

Known Issues:

One known issue is that all townies and NPCs will have their names randomized unfortunately. But you can use lingeringwillx's program to restore default names for sims in subneighborhoods. Alternatively, you can also use SimPE to rename everyone to their original names. For this, I've provided a list of townies and NPCs with their thumbnails and their default names (in the rar file).

Otherwise, they all come as close as possible to how they were in Sims Life Stories, i.e. they should all have the same aspirations, turn ons/offs, relationships, etc. I also gave them their original clothes and looks in every clothing category (yes, I really made sure they all match, also for the playable sims, already in this neighborhood, btw).

Oh, and they were created using @meowingcookie's Maxis Infant Face templates, so they should all have genetic infant faces. ^^

The other townie & NPC pools for the other recreated Sims Stories neighborhoods are in the works as well, so stay tuned for more to come! As always, happy simming! <3

If anyone fancied playing the Sims Life Stories and Pet Stories hoods, Hood Building Group on MTS recreated them all, and recently updated Bitville so you can choose to play from the two different endings onwards :) Four Corners from Riley's Story has already been updated in this way last year, and I saw they currently working on updating more of their hoods to be played from the end of the story as well, so keep an eye out! I did originally add all the hoods to a megahood and just started making the community lots over, but now I might start again with just the updated Four Corners, Bitville and also Arbor Falls (as there's presumably no update coming, as no story), then add Mesa Flats and Garden Heights once they're updated :)

So, Marc and Audra always manage to sneak away from everyone's watchful eyes. The more they hang out, the closer they get, you know? Audra never really planned on catching feelings for Marc. She's fully aware that he's the one bankrolling her and the group's dreams, and she's not shy about using that to fast-track her way up. Living the high life with all the luxuries Marc throws her way, Audra didn't expect to actually click with him.

But here's the curveball: when they get intimate, Marc makes sure Audra's happy. He treats her with respect, totally different from the other guys. It's like he's treating her like a girlfriend, even though they both know that's never gonna happen. Publicly, at least. Marc's got this whole engagement thing with India, and Audra's sudden rise to fame just muddies the waters even more.

So, she's juggling the thrill of this secret thing with Marc and the complications that come with it. It's a messy mix of emotions, especially with her own fame blowing up. Audra's in this tricky spot, trying to navigate the hidden affair with Marc while handling the pressures of her public image.

They're out shopping, and Marc's spoiling Audra with a spree that's off the charts. The thing about Marc, though, he's so loaded that he can turn it into a private experience. He's got the power to make the whole store their playground. Like, he tells the worker to take a hike, giving them the place all to themselves.

It's so private that things take a steamy turn right there in the store. Marc, being Marc, just decides to spice things up, bending Audra over the counter and she couldn't resist. Talk about turning a shopping spree into a whole different kind of adventure, you know? Life with Marc is never dull.

Escaping Dungeons and Deception

Meanwhile, Aunt Sharon has not been staying with a sick friend as Riley had been lead to believe… but held captive in a dirty basement. After weeks of suffering and refusing to bend to her captor’s demands, she uses her old army training to finally escape.

She goes straight to the police and reveals her story. The man that did this to her will not get away with it and the even more ominous plan he revealed to her will not be kept quiet.

While Sharon hides upstairs and waits for the cops to come, Dylan returns home and is infuriated to find she is no longer trapped in his basement. Consumed by anger, he guns it to her house hoping he still has time before she goes to the police. Unbeknownst to him they’re already on their way…

He shows up only to find Riley having just arrived home from work and making her way up to the front door. And Sharon nowhere in sight. He then explodes, kicking over things, screaming and ranting that Sharon and her have cost him everything. Riley is confused.. what is he raving about?

She then starts to feel actual fear as he storms toward her, the look on his face something she has never witnessed. Before he can lunge for her, the sounds of sirens fill the air and a police car whips around the corner. Sharon promptly exits exclaiming “That’s him officer! That’s the man that kidnapped me!!”

The cop holds Dylan at gunpoint upon seeing his clear to intent to harm Riley and the murderous glint in his eyes. He alerts Dylan to back away and put his hands up. Sharon cries to Riley that Dylan had tricked her into getting a large life insurance policy and then trapped her in his basement.

Riley can’t believe her eyes. The cop apprehends Dylan, informs him he is under arrest and that they will be looking into his accomplice. Riley finds herself in shock and struggling to hold back sobs. How could she have been so blind?

Her aunt and her embrace, and Riley feels immense relief that her aunt seems relatively unharmed. She goes on to tell Riley that she is okay and she will give her the whole story once they get inside. As the cop ushers Dylan into the backseat and drives off, the two women enter the house.

At the kitchen table, Sharon breaks it down that once Dylan tricked her into getting a large life insurance policy, he tried to force her to declare him as her beneficiary. When she wouldn’t budge, he locked her in his basement and chose to focus on who would be next in line for the money… Riley. He planned to marry her, then do away with the both of them and keep the money for him and his accomplice. She describes the accomplice as a woman and someone that seemed to have something personal against Riley as well…

Shaking from the information her aunt just revealed, Riley’s gut can’t help but tell her that the woman MUST be Agora, she just knew something felt off with her. She rushes to the phone to call Fiona to determine when the wedding is and if she has time to warn Mickey. Upon discovering it’s currently happening, will she even have a chance at making it in time?

Riley's Story - Sims Life Stories - Part 6

The next day, Riley started at the local gym and invited Mickey too. They were running next to each other on treadmills. They made it a little competition: who falls first, who runs out of breath first, who gives up first.

It was Riley. After gaining a Fitness skill point, she got bored with running and wanted to dip in the hot tub and just soak for a little. They were chatting, when suddenly…

Oh, no, indeed! Who would have guessed that they might run into Riley's ex in a public place? You should have called him and be honest with the boys, don't you, Riley?

Dylan didn't know that the other guy in the hot tub is Riley's boyfriend, or maybe he did? He certainly wasn't surprised when Mickey questioned him, more like he was rude. They got into a fight, and Dylan won.

Mickey was upset, rightfully so, and broke up with Riley without a second thought. He even mentioned Agora. Looks like she was shittalking about Riley, but that's not a surprise.

Dylan tried to comfort Riley, but she was just ugly crying. Only thing she wanted is to go home.

Ever wanted to play Bitville from Sims Life Stories, but with its original lore, right after Vincent's Story completed in Sims 2?

Well, then I might have something for you! You might remember that we updated Four Corners, but with Riley's Story completed last summer as well. In these alternative versions of the recreated Stories neighborhoods which the HBG and I made years ago, you can play with the sims just like in a freshly "unlocked" free-play neighborhood in Sims Life Stories, as if you played through the story mode in TS2.

Additionally, right before the end of Vincent's Story, the main character Naomi gets hit by Vincent's very own satellite and Vincent pleads with the Grim Reaper. However, Grim would only return Naomi if Vincent is willing to give up his fortune for her. So you get to choose the outcome of the story with these two options:

Vincent values money over love: Naomi dies, Vincent gets to keep his fortune, mansion, job and receives a statue of Naomi (which is basically also her grave)

Vincent values love over money: Naomi survives, but Vincent loses his fortune, mansion and job. He would then live together with Naomi with almost no money to start off of.

I recreated both scenarios, so you can download either neighborhood, based on your preferred ending. (In TS2, you could technically also resurrect Naomi now and let Vincent keep his fortune, but that's up to you then, lol.)

Also, if you’re not familiar with Vincent’s story, I recommend watching this lovely series/sims machinima made by the talented Bright Sim Studio on YT. 💕

It’s based on the storyline from the game and I must say they did an excellent job!! It’s very true to the original story and I love the new additions/plot twists as well! Definitely worth checking out! ^^
