✨Preview: Ballad of a Teenage Dream✨

With the conclusion of Intertidal underway with only the bonus chapters left to write, I would like to reintroduce you all to my next fic, Ballad of a Teenage Dream. It is a combination of the Wednesday and SKÄM fandoms and will be an ode to the highs and lows and victories and letdowns of growing up and modern teenhood. There will be heartbreak. There will be first and true loves. There will be realism as well as absurdity. But most importantly, there will be cringe because we are all cringe.

So ready yourself because it will be coming soon. Additionally, the final installment of Myth is set to arrive mid to late March and Star Atlas will, tentatively, see its next chapter arrival in April. Later!

i was tagged recently by @gardenoblues and @insomniac1994 at the start of the month. thank you both for inviting me to play.

it feels so weird doing one of these after checking out mentally for so long but i do have a wip that i’m currently obsessing over and i wanted to share what i have for chapter three so far. so here are my first and last sections (can’t stick to just a sentence) from my wip Intertidal.

FIRST SECTION (wednesday’s pov)

We were back at the beach. For a third time this week no less and I know precisely the series of mistakes I made that led me here.

It was all because of Enid and her giant cow eyes that no one could say no to. Poor Ajax, I understood the predicament he found himself in at every turn in their relationship when she spun around to face me bright eyed and silently pled for us to meet her brother and sister at the Trestles. They had all had a grand time that Tuesday afternoon after Tyler had broken into our home to make his sister breakfast. It was still strange--creepy and not in the good way like roadkill. But she had had so much fun and missed her siblings so dearly that she sought to replicate the happenings of that day.

I told Enid she could go without me. That was my first misstep.

LAST SENTENCE (tyler’s pov)

"Guess I can't die then."

"Guess not."

"Damn," I sighed, the two of us only a breath apart now. "And here I was looking forward to going out with my boots on like a legend."

Looking at me with a playfulness in her dark onyx eyes, Wednesday smiled. "You're fated to die of old age unfortunately. It's for the good of the cause though."

"Whose cause?"

"Mine."

"Ah, gotcha."
