worst thing about tlou is that it shows how fatherhood is often times a choice more than anything else. some fathers decide to abandon their child, not knowing or caring that they'll grow up to not trust anybody because they had to go through that disappointment when they were too young to be dealing with such stuff, or to involuntarily look for a father figure in somebody else. when i look at joel, there's nothing but respect in me because he's everything i would've wanted in a father back when i was a child.

the way i only know like three words in korean  😭

#*words MEANING bc i can memorize the pronunciations of a lot of korean words #not only bc of kpop or kdramas theres a large korean population where i live and a ton of korean establishments #anyways the words i remembered were #chowa (which i think means like/love) #saranghae (which im 90 ercent sure means i love you) #naega chae challa ga #uma (bc of the sandra oh movie i didnt even watch that shit) #also btw i know way more korean words im just lazy #these are just the ones im guessing about but im kinda positive im right #btw the duolingo korean course sucks ASSSSSSS and is only mildly good for learning hangul bc the way i learned fcking nothing from it PLS #the hangul course is boring as hell and makes you want to move on from it and when you do prematurely youre comoletely confused and just #want 2 quit #atleast it was for me #anyways duolingo kinda sucks in general i just use it for motivation and memorization #btw this reminded me to take it i dont want 2 lose my month long streak #that isnt impresive but it is POUR MOI im never able to remember these kinda of things #back when i was 13 the highest streak i got was like 20 days #i was completely unmotivated btw #some things never change i guess
