What's that smell? Why, it's the brown marmorated stink bug! These insects are famous for their distinctive protection against predators; when threatened, they emit a foul odor. What this odor smells like varies from person to person-- comparisons have been made to cilantro, pepper, fermenting apples, sulfur, skunks, or burnt tires. A few people can't even smell stink bugs at all!

in this strangers defense!.. this is my first attempt at anything like this (ToT)
I was out on a walk and it seems that this little fella wanted to hich a ride! Too silly for his own good maybe? Oh well he is making it in the show business now! Oh yes I must inform you this was inspired from partycoffin! Shucks are main role was even played by a bug named frank!
Do not fret though as a reward for Frank's fine acting skills he got much earned food and water and a free trip to the finest tree in the backyard! He didn't spray ones I guess time well spent! shout out to frank for his friendly nature!
a new Peocilometis species for me, the handsome P. calidus!
my first assumption when seeing this guy was that they were P. apicalis, but thankfully there are much more knowledgable folks on iNaturalist who can ID stink bugs for me :')
