A Little Tap (Ben Stone/Mike Logan drabble)
NSFW
An AU in the sense that Mike and Ben exist in their early 1990s state in 2022, but perhaps with a smaller age gap. Solely for the purpose to explore some parts of social media with my OTP lol.
A Little Background: Developed a little plot (lol) bunny with @loganstonegibbskinney based on the funny audio for "Let Me Spank That Butt" - you can see it in a lot of cute pet videos. See HERE for reference. Anyway, I couldn't not write this drabble - which could very well be fleshed out a bit more. Another WIP for the queue, what can I say? ;) Hope you enjoy.
Ben Stone loved his naps. Mike Logan knew better than to interrupt. The essential phrase being “knew better,” because Mike Logan will do what Mike Logan does. Ben Stone just learned how to deal with it, because in the end, Mike Logan knew how to deal with consequences.
A soft tap on his butt began to slowly lull Ben out of his slumber, yet rhythmic enough to keep him asleep.
A light hearted giggle pierced through his sleep-fueled haze.
Ben knew it was Mike. It was fascinating how Mike’s deep voice could transform itself into childish glee, and Ben loved it. His Michael was a playful individual, and he knew how to loosen Ben up. They were complete opposites, but their differences only solidified their love.
Still in the deep haze of sleep, Ben was more than aware that Mike was…amusing himself. Ben wasn’t much for social media, but he could recognize the audio from pet videos his kids would text him from time to time.
spank that butt, lemme spank that butt
lemme, lemme, lemme, lemme, lemme spank that butt
With a start, Ben realized that Mike was doing a TikTok video. With his (thankfully clothed) butt. His cautiousness eventually pushed him to finally react.
“You will show me before you post, right?” Came the reply from a groggy Ben.
His speaking up caused Mike to jolt with surprise, clearly not expecting his lover to wake. He had thought Ben was deep asleep. “Hi,” He said with a cheerful grin as Ben rolled onto his back and stretched. “Had a good nap?”
“Mmm. It was.” Ben looked pointedly at the iPhone in Mike’s hand. “Even the little butt pats were relaxing.”
Mike looked down, just a little bashful. “I couldn’t resist. It was there, and the opportunity presented itself, babe.”
Ben raised himself to sit next to Mike on the edge of the bed, leaning into him a little. “I’m just glad my naked rear end won’t be on social media. Actually -” He looked at Mike with a pointed gaze. “Please don’t post it online, huh? My kids -”
“Will think it’s funny,” Mike said, interrupting. However, he acquiesced. “Okay, this will be only for my private perusal. Scout’s Honor.”
With a yelp, Mike suddenly found himself flat on his back with Ben straddling him to grab Mike’s phone. With a few taps, he watched the video of his butt (which looked pretty great on screen, he was glad to say) being lightly spanked to the rhythm of the popular audio clip.
“Hmm, that is pretty funny,” the blue-eyed man acknowledged with a chuckle before bending down to slide his lips along Mike’s in a kiss. Before Mike would wrap his arms around his prosecutor boyfriend to deepen the embrace, Ben clambered off of him, and to Mike’s surprise, began to disrobe, and laid down on the bed, ass facing up.
Mike’s right hand moved of its own accord and caressed along Ben’s bare back and down to his ass. “Uh, Ben?”
“You said ‘private perusal,’ Michael.” Ben turned his head to face his detective boyfriend, smiling sweetly. “You can’t tell me you didn’t want to film that video clip with my bare ass.”
That got a deep, sensuous chuckle out of his lover. Ben felt his heart jump a beat at the look of want on Mike’s face, and the flip of his stomach as Mike’s playful gaze transformed into one of abject desire, as he also disrobed, and once naked, straddled Ben’s legs, camera now aimed at Ben’s ass.
“Hmm. Don’t think I wanna ‘spank that butt’ anymore, Counselor.” Mike growled, pushing his phone up to Ben. He switched to the front camera, hit record, and handed the phone up to his boyfriend. “Here. Hold it like a selfie,” Ben obeyed and Mike took a cursory glance up and loved the angle, which effectively framed most of Ben’s face and Mike’s position. “This is definitely for my private perusal.”
If Ben had any doubts about Mike’s intentions, those doubts were quickly done away with as Michael lowered himself down and got into a better position to pleasure him, lightly spanking a butt cheek before kissing it. His hands spread butt cheeks apart and Mike dove in with his tongue, flickering and teasing about Ben’s entrance.
“Oh God, Mike.” Ben moaned loudly as his lover drove him wild rimming him, that tantalizing tongue flickering about his hole, and diving in, interchanging with sucking kisses that nearly made Ben drop the phone.
“Keep that phone steady, Stone,” Mike said, roguishly, “This is for me, and you. Being able to hear you moan for me, see your reactions - it’s gonna be hot.”
“As long as you - ngh - encrypt this shit,” Ben groaned, “I don’t quite desire our bedroom activities popping up on the internet - ah - okay?”
Mike looked up at Ben and right into the camera. “You got it.”

Summer Camp AU + Bed Sharing + Stogan
When Peter is introduced to Trevor, the new camp leader, he feels his heart speed up and his mouth go dry. Trevor’s smiling at him, more of a smirk than anything else, eyes sparkling, and Peter can’t seem to find the words to even introduce himself.
Trevor’s taking the rowing groups, and at every opportunity he gets, when he’s not running his own athletics groups, he’s watching Trevor. It’s under the guise of supervision, of course.
But Peter quickly learns Trevor is more than just a pretty face. More often than not they find themselves sat together for meals, talking for hours on end. The first time Trevor invites Peter back to his room for a drink his heart nearly stops entirely.
Trevor’s full of sharp words and quick wits to keep Peter on his toes, but he’s also full of deep insight, and he has such a big heart Peter’s sure it must hurt.
By the end of camp Peter has fallen head over heels for Trevor.
On the final night he invites Trevor to his room for a drink, a final goodbye. They race through the pouring rain towards Peter’s cabin, but when they get there the roof has caved, and everything inside is just as wet as outside.
“Come back to mine,” Trevor says quietly, placing a hand on Peter’s arm.
They both shower and dry off, and then sit on Trevor’s bed, drinks in hand, talking well into the night.
Peter wakes up to the tickle of breath on the back of his neck and warm, sturdy arms around his middle. He shifts slightly before freezing completely, realising he had fallen asleep in Trevor’s bed. With Trevor.
“Go back to sleep,” Trevor whispers in his ear, nuzzling closer. “We don’t have to be up for a couple of hours.”
The soft kiss Trevor presses to his shoulder is all it takes for Peter to give in, melting into the touch as his eyes drift shut again. They could deal with everything else later.
Send me two tropes and a ship and I’ll tell you how I’d combine them

Assurance (Mike Logan/Ben Stone); drabble
Tumblr media
I have two WIPs in mind regarding OG L&O Season 3x21 "Manhood" about the cops who left hung one of their own out to dry because he was gay.
One's an AU where Ben is a detective that hops on with Mike after Phil gets shot; the other is this comfort drabble. It will be expanded into a longer one-shot.
It was unforgivably early when Ben felt himself coming awake. He’d gone to sleep alone; he had called Mike’s apartment to check on him before he went to sleep, and it went straight to voicemail. Mike sometimes stayed at Lennie’s if they were working overtime on a case, and Ben went to sleep off that assumption. Cracking one eye open, Ben saw that it was 3 in the morning, and grunted. At least it wasn’t time to get ready for work yet.
“Hey, sorry for waking you,” Mike apologized, exhaustion hanging on every word, “I know it’s late.”
“It’s okay,” Ben replied, voice rough with sleep. He rolled over to face Mike, who was sitting on the edge of the bed, pulling off his undershirt. Ben sat up and shifted closer, and Mike felt his presence as Ben pressed a kiss to his shoulder and held him from behind. Words didn’t need to be said; Ben understood the burden on Mike’s shoulders, how the cop shooting affected him.
Ben thought about Max Greevey, gunned down outside his own home. It was roughly a year into Mike and Ben’s then off-and-on relationship, and Mike’s reckless actions nearly tore them apart again; two men trying their best to bring a cop-killer to justice. They’d weathered that storm.
Then Phil Ceretta, being shot during an UC bust. Ben remembered Mike’s rage; he couldn’t believe that Ben was willing to deal with a guy who nearly killed Phil. Phil gave his blessing, but that case ended with horrible implications. Ben and Mike weathered that storm as well.
Max and Phil were cops shot by criminals, but this Newhouse case consisted of implications beyond that of typical criminal activity.
The Officer Newhouse shooting was beginning to show shades of the unthinkable. Yes, Newhouse was killed by a drug dealer, and had taken that dealer’s life in trade before succumbing to his injuries. What was now coming out of Mike and Lennie’s investigation revealed the ultimate betrayal; cops hanging another cop out to dry.
Because he was different.
Because that cop was gay.
Like Mike.
Ben shook the thought out of his head, forcing himself to focus on the real, breathing human being in front of him. “I’m glad you’re here, Mike. I was worried about you.”
That got a half-hearted chuckle out of Mike, but he understood. He held Ben’s hands in his and squeezed, a silent gesture of assurance. He shifted again, and Ben released him sliding back to his side of the bed as Mike moved to lay beside him. Neither man said a word as they lay on their sides facing one another, eyes locked on one another, convincing themselves that this nightmare of a case had not defeated them, not yet.
Mike watched Ben's expressions, knowing that his partner was thinking. He watched as Ben’s hand cautiously caressed his shoulder and slid over to rest over Mike’s heart, feeling his heartbeat. Mike knew that he could have been Newhouse. That, by some inconceivable chance, Briscoe could have been dispatched elsewhere, and Mike would be in his worst nightmare, pinned down from both sides.
Then Ben’s worst nightmare - having to prosecute Mike’s killer.
Mike reacted as Ben’s eyes squeezed shut, those blue eyes trying to shut out his darkest nightmare. Mike held Ben in his arms, protecting him, his low voice telling Ben that he was not Newhouse, comforting him with his words, his presence.
“Ben. I’m right here,” Mike squeezed Ben’s hand, still pressed over his heart. In truth, he had the same fear. He kissed Ben’s temple, and held him closer, assuring himself with the same words he was using to comfort Ben, “I’m still here.”

An intriguing proposition
(barely nsfw Ben Stone/Mike Logan drabble)
Tumblr media
My life is all WIPs - buuuuut I do have a lot of free time coming up, so will get my ass in gear to finish long-standing projects. Anyway, enjoy this one. I'm sure it'll be a longer one-shot, and it does show promise lol ==========
A typical Friday night
Ben Stone’s apartment
The familiar sounds of two lovers enjoying one another filled a dimly lit bedroom in uptown Manhattan. With comfortable familiarity and undeniable passion, the two men, fire and ice in stark contrast, worked toward their peak.
Breathing heavily, Ben Stone rose over his lover Mike Logan, buried to the hilt, moving with surprising strength as he focused all his attention on pushing Mike over the edge. Although they both wanted the moment to last forever, it was impossible for the two to stave off the eventual end, and the two surrendered to the beautiful climax, voices melding as they cried out hoarsely as they rode out the waves of their orgasm.
Ben Stone and Mike Logan. Complete opposites. Their relationship was certainly one that defied comprehension, but in some strange way, the two men complimented one another in ways no one could expect.
Breathing hard, Ben slipped out of Mike and rolled onto his back. As he focused on seeing straight, Mike began to speak.
 “So, I wanna try something…”
Ben cocked an eyebrow at his partner questioningly. “At least let me catch my breath first.”
“No, no. I don’t mean right now.” Mike chuckled as he turned onto his side, his right hand drawing random shapes on Ben’s chest before draping across his body.
Ben leaned in to press a kiss onto the top of Mike’s pate. “Okay?”
“Are you ready?”
“If my sense of trepidation is a proper indicator, no.”
“Don’t worry, it’s not so bad. Just one time, I wanna blow you while you’re sitting at your desk.”
Ben couldn’t ignore the involuntary flash of heat at Mike’s brash confession. Having Mike under his desk was an interesting prospect, a tempting fantasy that brought Ben to orgasm many times, but professionalism was a cruel mistress.
“Mike, we can’t. You know we need to appear professional in public, especially in our work lives.” Ben pondered further, clearly interested in adapting Mike’s proposal into a similar arrangement. “However, I wouldn’t be opposed if you’d do that from under the kitchen table or at my desk in the study.”
“Nope.” Mike was playfully adamant, tilting his face up to smile toothily at Ben, “I wanna do it at One Hogan Place.”
“Absolutely not.”
“Aw, c’mon Ben.” Mike pouted as he rested his chin on Ben’s chest.
“Mike, no.”
Realizing that this argument was going nowhere, Mike changed tactics, placing his hand on Ben's half-hard length, smirking at the groan that slipped out of the prosecutor. “I think your body doth protest, Counselor.”
“It knows damn well it’s a bad idea, Detective.” Ben huffed, willing his body to resist, and when that didn’t work, Ben calmly, yet reluctantly, removed Mike’s hand from his crotch.
He was determined to win this argument, dammit. Mike couldn’t get his way all the time.
However, Mike was undeterred, and Ben could feel his fingers creeping tip by tip along his side, across his hipbone toward Ben’s groin.
“Mike.”
“Are you suddenly opposed to getting fondled in bed?”
“Of course I’m not!” Ben replied quickly, “I’m just…suspicious of your blatantly ulterior motive.”
“Which is?”
“Drive me crazy here and get me to agree to your insane idea.”
“It’s not a bad idea.”
“It IS.” Ben reiterated. “Besides, there’s no way you can fit under there.”
Mike let out a small sound of victory as Ben internally cursed himself. By now, Mike’s hand was lackadaisically stroking Ben’s member to full hardness.
“Sounds like you’re considering my proposal, Ben.”
“I thought about it. That doesn’t mean I’m agreeing to it.”

Another Unintended snippet; comfort drabble
Tumblr media
(just imagine he's comforting Mike)
Mike woke up and found himself in his childhood bed, it was dark, cold, and wet. He looked over and saw the doors and windows were wide open and slats of rain came pouring in, soaking everything in its path. Worried that his mother would be angry over the wet floors and furniture, Mike jumped out of bed to shut the windows.
The dream took a turn into the peculiar as Mike noticed that the view from his childhood room, which was usually a playground, had shifted into a dark, rainy alley. A dead end. As he moved to shut his windows, his ears perked up to the sound of shouting followed by the pop of fireworks.
When he blinked, he was in the alleyway staring at the body of his dead father and the smoking gun was in his hand.
===
“NOOOO!” Mike screamed as he shot up in bed, drenched in sweat. He was panicked, inconsolable.
Awoken by Mike’s nightmare, Ben cautiously moved next to him, sitting on the edge of the bed. “Mike? Michael, are you alright?”
Unable to speak, Mike just shook his head, wrapping his arms about himself.
“I’m going to get you some water, okay?” Ben said as he gently squeezed Mike’s thigh. As he moved, he was surprised when those strong arms quickly pulled Ben closer, kissing him desperately, needing the connection.
“I just needed to know you’re here,” Mike said, softly, as they separated.
“I am.” Ben pressed their foreheads together. He leaned in and kissed Mike on the top of his head., putting on discarded dress shirt and his boxers. “I’ll be right back.”
====
Ben exited Mike’s bedroom to the kitchen and nearly had a fright when Saoirse jumped out from her hiding spot. “Oh, sorry! I thought you were Mike.”
Stilling his surprised heart, hand on his chest, Ben chuckled. “It’s fine.”
“Did my brother have a nightmare?”
“Uh, yes. Just getting him a glass of water.” In an attempt to break the slight awkwardness, Ben raised an eyebrow. “Thought you had your earplugs in.”
Saoirse crossed her arms, but couldn’t stop the smirk from forming. “Thought it was safe. Anyway - they fell out when I was sleeping. Don’t worry - they’ll go back in.”
“I better go check on him,” Ben offered, “Sleep well, Saoirse.” Glass of water in hand, Ben began to head off to Mike’s room.
“Ben?”
“Yeah?”
“I’m glad you're here.”
“Thanks, Saoirse. Me too.”

Joy - December Drabble 7/31
Pairing: Mike Logan/Ben Stone
Rated: T
Notes: Ben’s POV
Prompt list (@creativepromptsforwriting):  here
AO3 link to December Drabbles: here
Fresh from attending Mass at his local parish, Ben Stone-Logan hummed the happy tune as he let himself into his home. Mike, his husband, had run off right after Mass to run an errand, and Ben felt a deep sense of joy at the thought of finding love once more in his later years. Ben found peace in the years after leaving the District Attorney’s office in 1994, and never looked back. He eventually found himself teaching law, and found that an incredibly fruitful career, finally retiring a few years ago. Ben didn’t consider his life empty. He still had his close cadre of friends, his writing, his music, the church, Mike.
His immediate family was another thing entirely.
Ben never considered himself a particularly great father while Pamela and Peter were young, and not the best husband either - outside of providing for his family and ensuring they were safe. That’s what he told himself after he got home late in the night to find out that, once again, he had missed important events - that his singular focus on taking down all the bad that Manhattan had to offer.Ben held on to the happier memories; throwing a baseball around with Peter when he was a young child, indulging Pam in whatever creative avenue she’d thrown herself into. But in the end, as the family fractured, so did their relationships - and Ben couldn’t shake the thought that it was his fault.
Pamela had struggled with mental illness since she was an adolescent, and when Ben left the EADA office, he and his ex-wife juggled her care until it was decided that Pam would be better off in a care facility. Ben hated that, but threw himself fully into vetting any and all possible facilities to make sure his daughter was well cared for. It was all he could do. He visited her as often as he could, but in recent years, he could only go once a week.
Peter was another story. It was a long, slow malaise into Peter’s resentment toward him, and Ben was equal parts surprised and proud as Peter followed the same career path as he did. Ben had made peace with most of his choices, learned to forgive himself, and picked up the pieces. He was wise enough to know that the damage caused would not be fixed overnight. Although he visited Pam as often as he could, he had not spoken to Peter in years, after a fateful argument, one that saw the pot boil over, resentment damaging any goodwill that may have existed. It was an argument that cleared the air, but unfortunately estranged the two of them.
Ben rubbed at his chest; he always felt a physical pain there when his memories drifted off to that conflict. He refused to wallow in it again; he’d been there too many times and the multiple empty bottles of alcohol could attest to that. In the meantime, Ben tried his best to reconnect, but with time, Ben just about accepted his relationship with his son was destined to be one-sided.  He never blamed Peter, he just  hoped that one day Peter would understand the burden he had during his EADA years. Maybe he could understand in time, especially working in the same field he did.  Mike tried his best to bridge the gap, but Peter was stubborn.
A few weeks ago, Paul Robinette had called him to let him know that he was retained by a Chicago police officer involved in a shooting. That his opposing counsel was Peter. Ben wished him well, but sent no message. Knowing Peter, he didn’t need his Pop bothering him; seeing Paul would be too much of a reminder. When Paul called back weeks later at the conclusion of the trial, he had mentioned that Peter didn’t fall too far from the tree. Ben could only chuckle. Paul wasn’t the first to notice.
The phone rang suddenly, and Ben briefly considered letting it go to voicemail. If it was Mike, he’d call back.
He picked it up and his heart nearly leapt with joy at the voice on the other line.
 “Hey, Pop. It’s me."
 Peter.
Ben smiled gratefully, his heart soaring, beginning to do what he had thought nearly impossible after so long - hope. Breathing deeply, he felt the familiar rush of emotion, hope rising like a river into his soul. He'd prayed for at least one opportunity to hear from his son, and his prayers were answered. As Peter spoke, slowly finding the words, Ben knew that this would not be an easy discussion.  He only hoped that it was the beginning to something new, and something that lead to reconciliation. This was not an easy call for Peter to make, but Ben was grateful for it. The first conversations after estrangement rarely run a smooth course, but this was a promising start.
He’d find his joy in that, and hopefully reconciliation.

Snowflakes - December Drabble 6/31
Pairing: Mike Logan/Ben Stone, Mike Logan/???
Rated: T
Notes: rather surprising rarepair at the end, also a bit of a sad, but ends happy
Prompt list (@creativepromptsforwriting):  here
AO3 link to December Drabbles: here
Tumblr media
Summary: It's been two years Ben's death, and one year since Pam died. Mike comes to remember and to connect with what he's lost.
A light layer of snow blanketed the cemetery, giving the grounds a sense of tranquil stillness, highlighted by the peaceful meandering descent of snowflakes falling from on high. Mike Logan pulled over and shut off the car, reaching over to the passenger side to grab two small holiday bouquets he had put together. He was conscious not to bring a whole potted plant - the poor thing would freeze to death out in the cold - so he snipped some poinsettias and paired it with a decorative sprig of winterberries and some white flowers, and a fragrant branch from the Douglas fir tree he had recently put up. He wrapped up the bouquets in brown paper and tied them with some tweed thread he’d found in the house. In his younger years, Mike would have settled for store-bought, or a florist’s arrangement, but he’d grown more sentimental as the years went by. A lot of that was Ben.
Sliding his warm winter’s beanie with the ear flaps over his head, and wrapping the cashmere scarf he’d gotten from Ben years ago about his neck, Mike took a deep breath and stepped out of his car in search of a specific spot. His boots in the snow tracked his swift progress. He’d made a near-weekly visit to this grave since his love was laid to rest. Mike allowed himself a small comfort that Ben wasn’t there alone, albeit in rather tragic circumstances. A few months ago, Pamela, Ben’s daughter (and Peter’s sister) was laid to rest beside her father’s grave almost five months after Ben was buried.
Ben always wanted his final resting place to be a little scenic, with trees, and a clear view of the sun as it set and rose. It was that sentimental touch that Mike loved about him. As he approached a familiar set of birch trees, now naked in the cold, Mike came upon the familiar obsidian of his late husband’s gravestone.
Benjamin Stone-Logan
Loving Father, Husband, Friend
April 5, 1941- December 20, 2017
Mike stood there, flowers in hand, and stared at the gravestone for a good moment, before kneeling down to wipe the snow away, carefully placing the bouquet just below it, the red of the flowers a marked contrast to the pure white surrounding it. He dusted off Pamela’s gravestone as well. As he dutifully laid the bouquet in the same manner, Mike’s thoughts drifted to her.
She didn’t deserve to die in the way she did; she was innocent. Upon hearing that Pam was abducted, Mike felt helpless - and almost bullheaded himself into the search, but a certain Detective Carisi called him off. He remembered when Peter came over that night to break the news. Mike had never seen Peter so hollow, it was like seeing Ben the night he left the District Attorney’s office. Only Peter’s grief was gargantuanly worse - he’d just lost the last member of his immediate family.
In the weeks following, Mike tried to see the positive. At least Pamela wasn’t struggling and now, she was with her father. Peter took her death hard; Mike had forgotten the number of times he had to collect an inebriated Peter from the bar. Ben was the same, but Mike never mentioned that to Peter; although Peter’s relationship with his father vastly improved years before Ben’s death, comparisons still rankled the younger Stone.
Mike’s gaze drifted back over to Ben’s gravestone, the snowflakes now lightly obscuring the date of death; it was almost like Mike could pretend Ben was still here. Maybe they put the grave marker down as a precaution to make sure Ben had a burial spot. Mike shook his head as a normalizing sense of finality washed over him. What a silly thing to hope for; Ben was gone.
His eyes began to sting. Even two years later - the feeling of deep loss always lingered.
“It’s true what people say about grief. It never goes away,” Mike confessed to Ben, pretending he was right there. It was a coping mechanism, and honest to God, helped him through the rough days. “I remember when Max died you told me that people learn to adapt, to grow around it,” Mike sighed shakily, “You’re right about that too but…this still hurts like a bastard, Ben.”
“I know. That’s why I’m here, Michael,” said a familiar voice, almost ethereal in its quality.  It startled Mike, but he knew exactly who it was right away. He always showed up when sensed Mike needed him. Mike was never sure if he was real or imagined, but -
“Christ. You nearly made me piss myself, Ben!” Mike gasped. “Can’t you make, like, a noise or something? Gust of wind?”
“Not really,” Ben leaned down and admired the poinsettia arrangements. “These are pretty.” He looked back and stood up to stand closer to Mike. If Mike closed his eyes, he could imagine Ben’s warmth; in this case, he’d settle on listening to that smooth voice, all roughness gone. Ben’s voice had lost all of the roughness from his old age, and now sounded similar to his prosecutor days. It was also how this image of Ben appeared to him; familiar beige trench coat, and business suit, complete with matching suspenders and tie. He looked younger too, a little more hair, less wrinkles, and the same bright blue eyes and sweet smile.
Ben smiled softly as Mike gazed upon him; Ben often returned to comfort, sensing Mike’s deep grief. As they stood together, Ben watched as Mike found peace in the silence, his gray eyes observing the snowflakes floating about to their expected destination. Ben couldn’t help the soft chuckle that grabbed Mike’s attention.
“You know, when it snows, that’s me.” Mike couldn’t help but laugh, his warm breath condensating in the cold air. Ben would only ever unleash his own brand of puns and corniness on Mike, and Mike would only groan. God he missed that.
“That’s kind of corny.” Mike smirked.
“I know.” Ben smiled. “Made you smile, though.”
Mike’s gaze turned to Ben, still misty-eyed, “You always knew how to do that.”
Ben held Mike’s gaze, “You’ll be okay, my love.” Ben’s gaze turned toward an approaching vehicle that had parked behind Logan’s car, and turned to face his grieving husband with a comforting and knowing smile. “You’ll be okay.”
===
“Mike?”
A voice called out to Mike, pulling him out of his reverie - he didn’t even detect a car pulling up nearby.  Mike turned toward the voice calling to him, allowing himself a little grin as a familiar face came strolling up toward him, carefully navigating around the various gravesites.
“Dominick?”
“Hi,” the SVU detective greeted affably,  “Thought I’d find you here.”
“Heh. Yeah.” Mike acknowledged, as he turned once more toward Ben who had disappeared. Instead of a pang of sadness like he used to endure, Mike realized that he only felt gratitude. You may be right, Ben. I think I’ll be okay.
Logan and Carisi stood in the quiet stillness of the cemetery, Carisi offering his silent support, raising a hand to squeeze Mike’s shoulder. Mike turned toward the contact, and placed his hand over Carisi’s.
“Hey, uh, thanks for being here.” Mike said softly, “Means a lot.”
“You’re welcome,” the younger man smiled, his soulful blue eyes conveying sympathy, “I know it’s a heavy day for you.”
“That’s an understatement.” Mike joked, as they both chuckled. Nodding toward Carisi’s car, Mike asked, “Did you come alone?”
“Nah. Pete’s in the car. Something about giving us some alone time first.”
Mike snickered, turning toward Carisi, dark brows expressive, “What does he think we’re going to do?”
Carisi shrugged, smiling up at Logan. He reached down and held Mike’s hand, their fingers entwining. As Mike leaned in to kiss his forehead, Carisi let his eyes fall shut, appreciating what they had found in one another. Falling in love with Mike Logan was not something he envisioned happening when they first met, but now he couldn’t imagine it going any other way. For his part, Logan never expected to find love again, especially after what he had with Ben, but he knew someone high above was looking out for him. Just my luck it had to be another lawyer, he thought lightheartedly, At least this one’s a cop as well.
Peter Stone sat in the car and watched the two with a smile on his face. He turned to his father, who was sitting beside him, both of them smiling at the scene.
“I think you’re right, Dad. I think Mike’s gonna be okay.”
“And so will you. Take care of yourself, son.” Ben replied lovingly and in a moment, Peter noticed he was no longer next to him.
“I will, Pop. Look after Pam for me.” And with that, Peter Stone stepped out of his car and went to meet the couple in paying their respects.

Scarf - December Drabble 4/31
Pairing: Mike Logan/Ben Stone Rated: T
Prompt list (@creativepromptsforwriting):  here
AO3 link to December Drabbles: here
Tumblr media
Summary: A little gift exchange.
Mike still found it strange getting used to receiving nice gifts.
Ben had stayed over for the holidays, and had managed to convince Mike to put up a tree and decorate a little for Christmas. Although the detective begrudgingly agreed, he couldn’t deny his cold, cynical heart warmed a little as a result.
And now, here they sat, giving presents, and Mike decided he would just go with it. He was a man who tried his best to avoid sentiment, but Ben’s insistence was terribly hard to ignore. For once, Mike met his match.
He undid the ribbon around the box that Ben had just handed him and uncovered it. Encased in tissue paper, was a black cashmere scarf. He ran his fingers over the soft fabric, before pulling the scarf out to drape about his neck. A lot smoother than his last scarf that was destroyed when Ben tore a hole in it. To be fair, it was Mike’s suggestion to use during a recent romp in the sheets, but still - Mike really liked that scarf.
There was a card tucked within. Mike couldn’t help but smile as he read the note.
Sorry for damaging your favorite scarf. Hope you’ll find this a suitable replacement. Merry Christmas.
Ben
“Looks amazing on you,” Ben noted with satisfaction.
“I half expected plaid,” Mike commented with a bit of twinkle in his eye, his thankfulness coming through his smile.
“Don’t worry, I bought you a set of plaid ties too.”
“All the more to tie you up with,” Mike chuckled to himself.
“...what?”
Mike smirked. “Nothing.”
An hour later, Ben soon got Mike’s drift as they effectively utilized the newly gifted plaid ties, Mike’s scarf draped about his neck as he properly thanked Ben for all the gifts.

Hot Chocolate, December Drabble 3/31 Rated: T
Pairing: Mike Logan/Ben Stone Rated: T
Prompt list (@creativepromptsforwriting):  here
AO3 link to December Drabbles: here
Summary: Ben has a deadline; Mike tries his best to not be too much of a distraction. But even the hardest of workers needs a break.
This is entirely inspired by a gif I saw of a gay couple where one was working on his computer, and his partner straddles the chair for a snuggle. I can’t find it, or else I’d have posted it here. Sometimes I wish you could save the gifs that come up on the tumblr gif search!
The last 3 months had been a little bit of an adjustment period for the Mike Logan and his long-time partner Ben Stone. Ben had recently sold his condo to buy a fixer-upper brownstone, and it only seemed natural to Mike that Ben move in as they started the remodeling process. Ben surprisingly found it easier being in a smaller space (“Less to clean.”) whereas Mike found that running into Ben nearly every moment took a little getting used to. Admittedly, for Mike, it was more of a good problem than a bad one. Post-work stress relief has never been so good. If Ben wasn’t away traveling, Mike was often lucky to come back for a hearty meal which necessitated a few extra miles on the treadmill.
This particular day saw Ben up against the wall trying to finish a draft of a crime novel he had been working on for months, prepping it for his agent. Writing was a hobby that Ben poured himself into in the months after leaving the District Attorney’s office - more out of an effort to engage himself than anything. He had taken Creative Writing courses at Dartmouth, even getting published in a few journals, but once law school and his career took over (as well as marriage and kids and divorce), Ben hardly found the time to indulge himself.
He usually took his work to the local coffee shop or library, but with the library undergoing remodeling and his favorite coffee shop closed due to some work-bonding activity, Ben brewed his own coffee and settled down in the make-shift office that he and Mike shared.
Mike had behaved himself, for the most part. He had the day off of work, and was less than thrilled that Ben was choosing to work on his novel instead spending the day with him. Deciding to be a supportive partner, however, Mike busied himself; went out to the gym, mentored some kids at the local Y. He found himself enjoying the mentoring; it made him focus less on himself and his dissatisfaction of working in Staten Island. Mike thought of watching the Mets game in the local bar, but a part of him hoped to pull Ben away for a break. His partner had been working at the novel non-stop for the whole day.
“I really have to get this done, Michael.” Ben replied at Mike’s latest attempt to convince Ben to take a rest.
“Ok,” Mike sighed. He could recognize when Ben was in tunnel-vision mode. He stepped out of the room giving Ben his space.
With that, Ben mercifully had a few moments of peace, really encouraged by the amount of work he was getting done. Mike was gracious enough to leave him alone; Ben had a deadline to meet, after all.
The smell of hot chocolate greeted Ben’s nostrils, announcing Mike’s presence. The detective placed a mug of hot chocolate in front of Ben, topped with marshmallows, for his now-writer lover, placing a kiss on the top of Ben’s head.
“Going okay?”
Ben looked up at Mike, smiling with accomplishment. “Yes, making good time,” he reached up to caress Mike’s arm, “Thank you for the hot cocoa.”
“Mmm,” Mike leaned in to press a tender kiss to Ben’s lips. “You’re welcome. I’ll leave you to it.”
Ben nodded at his love and turned back to his computer screen as he heard the door shut. To his surprise, he found his chair being pulled back, and immediately realized that Mike hadn’t stepped out. Instead, Mike draped a long leg across Ben’s lap and straddled him on the computer chair, nuzzling Ben's neck. It was a hilarious sight, Ben thought, the more muscular frame of Mike Logan straddling him. He wondered if he ought to be concerned about weight limits on his chair - but with the way Mike was nibbling at his neck, Ben ceased to worry.
Ben shuffled them closer to the desk, craning his head over Mike’s shoulder to see his screen. “I thought you were going to leave me to it.”
Mike pulled back to look right onto Ben’s eyes, “Yeah, changed my mind. I think you,” Mike pressed a kiss right on Ben’s nose, “Need a break.”
As Mike pressed his lips to his, Ben conceded that Mike had A Very Valid Point.

Baking - December Drabbles 2/31 [Stogan AU]
Pairing: Ben Stone/mpreg!Mike Logan
Rating: T
Prompt list (@creativepromptsforwriting):  here
AO3 link to December Drabbles: here
Tumblr media
This is from an AU WIP in development, so by the final form some things may change. In this AU, Mike is a baker in a small town, having taken over his grandmother’s business. Ben is a divorced high school teacher who has recently moved to Mike’s town. This is an mpreg fic. There's more backstory, but it’s not necessary for this drabble.
Enjoy :)
====
Fresh off yet another grocery run for more cookie ingredients, Ben entered his home, his nostrils immediately encountering the delicious scents of holiday baking. There was a welcoming sense of warmth, a nice buzz of the holidays that imbued his home with life-affirming happiness. In the two years since moving to Oak Creek, Ben found the peace that had eluded him since his divorce that necessitated his move.
A huge part of the happiness Ben found was due to falling in love unexpectedly. Funny thing, love. The moment you stop looking for it, it slaps you in the face. Or in Ben’s case, entices with the scent of baked goods. His first week in Oak Creek, Ben took the liberty of strolling Main Street since Pamela, his daughter, was curious to learn more about the little town Ben moved to. Ben wandered about a street corner, and the smell of freshly-baked croissants lured him into Elaine’s Bakery, a local institution. It was there where he met Mike, who had actually taken over the bakery from his grandmother, for whom the bakery was named after.
At first, neither man was looking for anything past friendship, but within a few months, love brought them together, and Mike moved in. Mike’s pregnancy was a surprise, but they couldn’t be happier. Ben had wanted to marry Mike right away, but the other man had protested. They agreed to wait until their child was born. In the meantime, Ben took to the task of caring for his pregnant partner with gusto.
Ben grinned once more as he took in the holiday decorations. Another high point; he was glad to have his kids for Christmas this year. The past few days were filled with decorating, cooking, and bonding. His children were with him, his love, and a baby on the way. Ben couldn’t be happier.
He followed the familiar smell of flour, sugar, butter and eggs baking into a varied assortment of cookies. He couldn’t wait to see what Mike, Pam and Peter had baked. Right on cue, Pamela skipped out of the kitchen and greeted her father with a hug. She giggled as he wiped some residual flour off her nose.
“Hey, Dad! Mike was needing the cinnamon for the snickerdoodles.”
“Don’t worry, I bought it. Also picked up the corn syrup and more eggs,” Ben replied, holding the bag out. “The house smells -”
“Amazing right? You gotta come see the sugar cookies! We decorated a few before we ran out of icing.”
Ben chuckled as his daughter took him by the hand and yanked him toward the kitchen.
“Where’s Mike?”
“Baffwoom,” Peter mumbled happily, mouth full, happily stuffing his face with another undecorated sugar cookie in the shape of a tree.
“PETER,” Pamela huffed, scolding her younger brother, “I can’t believe you! We’re going to decorate those too!”
“But you said we ran out of icing!”
“And I also said Mike called Dad to get more ingredients on the way home!”
“It’s okay, guys!” a far away voice called out. “Pam, I said he could eat a few,” Mike explained, “Just a few, right, Peter?”
“Uh….yeah!”
“Good. Uh, Ben, are you there? Could you…uh…”
“I’ll be right there, Mike.” Ben chuckled at his bickering children, before helping himself to a cooling snickerdoodle. He complimented Peter and Pam’s hard work, as he went to find Mike. He rounded a corner, finding a few wet spots leading to the bathroom, which was locked. Ben thought maybe the kids forgot to dry their hands in their excitement. He’d have to have a talk with them about that later, Ben told himself as he knocked on the bathroom door.
“Ben?”
“I’m here.” Mike unlocked the door and Ben stepped in. “Are you…okay?”
Mike was staring at the bathroom floor, now sporting a noticeable puddle. “It…broke.”
“What broke?” Ben’s gaze followed Mike’s to the puddle, “Oh.”
“Yeah.”
“But…you’re early.”
“Early or not, the baby’s coming, Ben!” Mike braced himself against the wall, grunting as the first contractions began. “We….gotta go.”
===
The next few minutes were a wild blur: Ben running up the stairs to grab Mike’s go bag for the hospital, Mike giving some last minute instructions on baking to Pam and Peter, and soon the two men were on the way to Oak Creek General.
Ben had all the best intentions of following mandated traffic rules, concerned of Mike and their baby’s safety. However, with Mike’s contractions coming faster, Ben threw the rulebook out of the window, running no less than 3 red lights on the way to the hospital. If Mike wasn’t trying to focus on pain management, he’d find the whole situation hilarious. In no time, Mike was admitted and after their obstetrician’s initial check, they found that Mike was too far gone for an epidural.
Consistently supportive, Ben was with Mike every step of the way. Encouraging and coaching Mike, doing all the things their Lamaze instructor told them. Mike found Ben’s hovering equally endearing and incredibly irritating. Although Ben was an unshakeable rock for Mike through the fiercest contractions, sometimes it was a bit much. Mike nearly squeezed Ben’s right hand to smithereens during a particularly fierce contraction. Ben grunted in pain, Mike’s strong grip bringing him to his knees.
“Mike…”
“That is THE LAST TIME I’m letting you fuck me!” Mike cried out, “Fuckin’ never ever again!” Thankfully, Mike had released his grip on Ben’s hand enough for Ben to pull free, but Mike’s threat stung more than his throbbing right hand.
“Uh….”
“Don’t worry, Mr. Stone,” chuckled Brenda, their Labor and Delivery nurse, “Every child-bearing partner has said some variety of that to their partner. I wouldn’t take it seriously.”
“Uh…good to know,” Ben replied, sheepishly, before taking his spot right next to Mike, never leaving his side the whole time.
===
Within two hours of getting to the hospital, Mike gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. After a moment, Mike held their son in his arms. The little one had Ben’s blue eyes, and a notable shock of dark brown hair, hairline defined into a widow’s peak - clearly getting his hair from Mike.
“Good to know he’s not getting my male-patterned baldness,” Ben joked, as he pressed a kiss into Mike’s sweat-soaked hair. “He’s perfect. You’re perfect. I love you both so much.”
An hour later, settled into a hospital room, the two men settled into a calm and sedated peace as their son lay against Mike’s bare chest. Mike had scooted over, allowing Ben to lay next to him and their son. Ben had just called Peter and Pam and let them know the good news. Pamela excitedly stated that she’d decorate a few of the sugar cookies light blue in honor of her new baby brother.
Ben settled next to his partner, pressing a kiss to their son, and to Mike’s lips. He hadn’t known happiness quite like this. There was, however, a niggling question. He was, after all, a man who occasionally needed a little bit of assurance.
“Michael?”
“Yeah?”
“You will let me back into bed with you again, won’t you?”
Mike could only let out a laugh as he shook his head, looking down at their son.
“I’ll think about it.”

Starry Night - December Drabble 1/31
Rating: T
Pairing: Ben Stone/Mike Logan
Tumblr media
Hiya! Here’s the first of the December Drabble set. Using a drabble set by @creativepromptsforwriting
Here: https://at.tumblr.com/creativepromptsforwriting/december-prompts-word-prompts-to-use-for/e2q4xocz0cro
Looking forward to working through the prompt list. I’m sure future fic ideas will sprout up, ready to join the bajillion WIPs I have in progress already. :D Will try to be up to date on the writing. Lots of fluff, some smut, probably together. Some canon-related, some AU.
Ratings will be included in the title.
The whole series will be posted on AO3 as well: https://archiveofourown.org/works/43374400/chapters/109033336
Hope you enjoy!
Ben Stone minded a lot of things.
A drunk Mike Logan crooning Christmas tunes to him as they made their way to his apartment was surprisingly not one of them.
However, the night was bitterly cold, and Ben minded that. A lot.
An hour ago, Lennie Briscoe had called Ben at home. Mike apparently had imbibed too many drinks at the 27th’s Christmas party at the local pub. Lennie had a date, and thus was unable to ferry Mike home. So it fell to Ben to pick up his boyfriend.
Ben raised his collar, adjusting his scarf to protect against the cold. He raised his eyes to the peculiarly clear night sky, clear enough to see the stars. Mike must have noticed it too, as his one-man Christmas concert took a huge left turn from Bing Crosby and Burt Ives.
Starry, starry night…paint your palette blue and gray…
Ben couldn’t help but laugh, the burst of air puffing out as Mike continued to mumble drunkenly through the classic Don McLean song based on Vincent van Gogh.
“Michael, that’s not a Christmas song…”
“It should be,” Mike grinned loosely at Ben. There was a glint of mischief in those gray eyes. Ben knew that look well. That look meant trouble. He watched as Mike threw himself on a patch of snow, in the process tripping up the hapless attorney.
Next thing Ben knew, he was flat on his back alongside his partner who was sweeping his arms and legs. Watching Mike rediscover some childhood happiness was all well and good, but Ben definitely minded being on a Manhattan sidewalk with a drunken boyfriend who was gleefully making a snow angel.
“Benny.”
“Mike…y.” Ben decided that he disliked his current predicament very much. The snow was dampening the back of his khakis, and he mournfully missed the warmth of his apartment. He made to get up, but groaned when he realized Mike wasn’t going to let him.
“The stars, Benny.”
With a sigh, Ben decided to indulge Mike. It was something to behold, Ben thought. It was difficult enough to see the stars in the New York sky, especially in the winter. From street level, the stars were often obscured by streetlights. You’d often have to go up to the roof of your apartment building to see them properly. One day, Ben thought to himself, one day, he’ll own a place with his own rooftop deck. What the hell, a man could dream.
As Ben let his mind wander, he felt Mike’s gloved hand cover his, entwining their fingers together.
Ben smiled, as he felt Mike’s lips press against his cheek. He didn’t mind this at all. No, sir, he didn’t.
Starry, starry night indeed.

Just a small update
Tumblr media
There is a certain sense of glee when I get a comment or kudos on a fic. I don’t get many, but I appreciate them. I know the Mike/Ben shipper community is fairly small, so I’m always super excited whenever someone new checks them out. A year into writing Stogan, I try to write without needing the comments, but they sure helped early on.
I know I have a LOT to improve on as far as writing goes, so thanks to anyone who actually enjoys what I’ve put out.
Just a few updates:
I am focusing on the December Drabbles for the moment. I’m flying out for family vaca, and I’ve planned the vast majority of the list. I’m really enjoying the process, however, as it’s letting me explore fic ideas I’ve had cooking for a while.
Unintended is in the same boat as always. It’s mostly outlined, and I don’t anticipate publishing a new chapter until the new year. We’ll see, though. I’m not sure how much writing time I’ll have when I’m with family.
Anyway! Hope you all are doing well this holiday season. <3

A Severance-inspired drabble (the law and order ep obviously, not the Apple TV show)
Tumblr media
Hi! So, I’m severely behind on keeping up with my Unintended publishing schedule (sorry). Work had picked up and I’m also desperately trying to get off book for the play I’m rehearsing for. This drabble is NOT from Unintended, but inspired by the season 2 episode “Severance.” I should hopefully be finishing Ch.4 of Unintended within the next few days.
---
Mike Logan found himself unfortunately coming awake. Unwilling to open his eyes, he blindly threw an arm where his partner, Ben Stone, lay. To his disappointment, Ben’s side of the bed was empty, and begrudgingly, Mike cracked an eye open to see Ben packing a duffel bag and a garment bag. Mike didn’t like this one bit, especially once the clock indicated how early it was.
“Ben,” he croaked, “What are you doing.”
“I’m playing tennis with Paul,” Ben said as he zipped up his duffle, hoisting it on his shoulder as he grabbed his garment bag containing his business suit, “I do this every week, Michael, you know this.”
“Oh right,” Mike let the covers slip dangerously down to his waist in an attempt to entice Ben to skip his morning exercise, “I can’t get you to reconsider?”
Ben turned to face Mike, and the look on his face was desirous. Mike Logan in all his glory, hair all mussed up with sleep, was certainly a fascinating proposition - impossible to resist. The detective grinned triumphantly as his prosecutor boyfriend approached him with intent…only to bend over and press a soft kiss on Mike’s nose. “Maybe next time, my love,” Ben said with a little glee, chuckling at Mike’s pouty face, “Love you.”
Mike flopped back on his bed with a huff as he heard Ben exit the apartment. Ben was lucky Mike loved him so much; past partners never really walked out on Mike - well, unless they were breaking up, but that was another matter entirely.
In any case, the detective decided that he would make sure he’d drive Ben a little extra wild that night to make up for him leaving early in the morning for tennis. Deciding to grab some extra zzz’s before work, Mike pulled the covers back up, and rolled over and buried his face in Ben’s pillow, falling asleep moments later.
Hours later, as Mike strolled into work, he called Ben’s office and was astonished to find that he wasn’t in yet. Opting not to leave a message, Mike decided to check his own messages regarding the cases he and Phil were investigating. A few weeks ago, he and Phil picked up a case where two men were murdered on a rooftop parking lot and it rolled into a case involving the Feds and the murder of a woman named Janet Torrens, who they believed was murdered because she was about to blow the whistle on her old boss Charles Martine.
After meeting with an FBI agent who informed them of Ms. Torrens’ role, Mike and Phil had brought in their prime murder suspect, Frank Kemp, to interrogate him about his connection to Charles Martine and the hit on Janet. As Phil continued to interrogate Kemp, Mike joined Don Cragen, his Captain, in pleading with ADA Paul Robinette, Ben’s work (and morning tennis) partner, for a little more time to make the connection before arraignment. It was then that Mike found out why he couldn’t get a hold of Ben that morning.
“Ben broke his wrist this morning playing tennis,” Paul said inadvertently, scheming on how to keep Kemp’s lawyer, Larry Teasdale, at bay, “Maybe I can use that to postpone the arraignment.”
Don Cragen stared at Paul blankly. “He what?”
“He dove for a lob.” Paul explained, with a smirk.
Mike couldn’t help but chuckle. He was definitely going to give Ben an earful about this one.“He finally beat you, huh?”
Paul chuckled as he opened the door to exit, “He was up…5-4.”
Mike and Don shared a laugh, and Mike knew who his next call was to after they wrapped up with the perp interrogation.
—-
Ben groaned as his left hand instinctively reached for his phone as it rang, shooting sharp pain up his arm. Grumbling at the offending wrist, Ben picked up his phone with his right, still wincing at his earlier movement.
“Stone.”
“Bet ya regret not jumping back in bed this morning.”
Ben sighed as he looked down at the hard cast and arm sling, unwilling to concede defeat. “I’ll live.”
“Guess I have to be extra careful with you later.” Mike said, in a low voice.
Ben couldn’t help but smirk at that tone, flirting back, “I’m not made of glass, Detective.”
“Oh, I know. Just your wrist,” Mike said, laughing loudly, knowing that Ben was rolling his eyes at Mike enjoying the schadenfreude of the situation.

Just a drabble ;)
Tumblr media
Just a little bit of drabble - @loganstonegibbskinney sent me the best gif set that eventually set off this drabble - which will defintely get expanded. My focus is primarily on getting “Unintended” out, but I couldn’t resist posting a taste of this one. GIf sets inspiring this fic are from the movie “Law of Desire.”
Ben moved to Mike’s side of the table to look over the statement Mike had been analyzing. Mike tensed up a little as Ben entered his personal space, as he was wont to do with anyone. As Ben scanned the document in Mike’s hand, the detective took in the sight. Incredibly blue eyes under those crooked reading glasses that Mike found adorable.
That shook Mike. Adorable? BEN STONE?!?
To his credit, Mike never let on his sudden internal surprise. Mike always suspected he was bi. Certainly, there was no shortage of men making passes at him. Max would often laugh at Mike’s magnetic charm, and Mike had to admit - he was curious to see how the other side did it. Maybe on a night out, he’d take a chance. No shortage of takers.
But Ben was different. He never indicated that he was attracted to anyone (well, except maybe Shambala Green - Lord knows what was going on there) and now Mike was stuck with these sudden feelings and no way to presently deal with it. Unless -
The detective chanced a glance at Ben once more, as the prosecutor smiled to himself, seemingly pleased at how the document helped to strongly support their case. He turned to look at Mike, to say something with that sweet grin on his face and Mike couldn’t stop himself.
Mike impulsively pressed into Ben, kissing him abruptly, his tongue passing though surprised lips. The attorney froze in his arms, incredibly shocked at the detective’s actions.  When Mike realized that Ben was not kissing back, he separated and backed off immediately. Mike felt confused, but more embarrassed, wondering if he could blend into the shadows.
Ben was the first to speak to break the silence, saying hoarsely, “Uh, what was that, Mike?“
“Um,” Mike crinkled his brow, “I don’t know - I - um, Jesus -“ he started to pace, figuring he should settle for basic honesty, “I suddenly just wanted to kiss you.”
Mike was a little worried. He had just kissed the EADA, who he was working with on a freaking case, and would probably now get him reassigned. Fuck.
“Your kissing technique could use some work,” the prosecutor replied casually, surprising Mike.
“I- what?”
“You just shoved your tongue down my throat like you were trying to plug up a tub,” Ben chuckled lightly, putting the detective at ease.
Mike figured he should be offended, but Ben had a point. He couldn’t deny, though, that this conversation was very odd - it was not one he imagined having with Ben, ever.
Then again, he never expected to kiss Ben Stone.
He glanced up, surprised to see that Ben had closed the distance between them, still giving Mike the requisite amount of space, sensing that Mike was navigating some uncharted territory, being uncharacteristically shy.
Mike couldn’t help but blush, “I swear I’m usually a lot better - impulse made me maybe a bit too, uh, impulsive.” He shook his head, “I’m not even doing words right.”
“Would you like to try again?”
“I, uh -“ Mike’s mouth went try, struggling again to find words.
Ben smiled, calming Mike right down again. “I could show you?”
Mike looked from Ben’s lips to his eyes. “Could you?”

A WIP I wrote 5 minutes ago that’ll definitely get expanded  in which Ben is a troublemaker
Tumblr media
for @loganstonegibbskinney ;) It was a fact of life that took some getting used to for Mike Logan. Ben Stone, EADA, and his partner, was an incredibly slick troublemaker. Notoriously sneaky. No one ever suspected Ben of anything.
It was quite the opposite for Mike - if there was trouble and he was around, he often got the blame.
Ben could be smug, which Mike both loved and hated. He loved watching Ben trick swarmy perps and idiot defense lawyers. He hated when Ben occasionally got the upper hand on him.
Here’s a secret not many people knew about Mike: he’s incredibly ticklish. His sister knew,  one or three girlfriends, and since two days ago, Ben. It was a discovery made on accident. He and Ben were getting hot and heavy in bed, as usual, and Ben just happened to run his hand down Mike’s flank just light enough to get Mike to flinch.
Mike looked up at the prosecutor as comprehension dawned in those blue eyes. Mike could only squeak out a “Don’t you dare, Stone!” before those evil hands started to mercilessly tickle the brash detective.
Mike hated it, oh God, he hated it.
But moments later, when he was fully buried in Ben - Mike found that he suddenly didn’t hate it so much.

“Road Map” - Stogan AU smut drabble (mpreg)
A small bit of something I’m working on
Tumblr media
Mike woke up to a weird sensation of a finger drawing shapes on his skin. “Whatterya doin’, Ben?”
“Ah, you’re awake.”
“Mmmph.” Mike grumbled. Ben thought it was cute. “Y’ never answered my question.”
“Tracing states.”
“---Wha?”
“I do a little geography lesson with my World History classes.” Ben explained, continuing through tracing the state of West Virginia, “I’m just…testing myself.”
Mike sighed as Ben’s tracing took him around one of his nipples. He had a sneaking suspicion that this wasn’t just a reviewing session. “And what state was that?”
“Missouri.”
Ben’s finger began to take wider strokes and take up more space on Mike’s body.
Mike leaned up on his elbows to look at Ben. “Tell me, do these tests also deal with topography?”
“Oh sure,” Ben replied cheerily, now using more fingers to illustrate. “Mount Rushmore, Black Hills,” Mike gasped as Ben started to drag his tongue straight down his midsection.
“A river of some sort?” Mike squeaked as Ben paused at his belly button, biting lightly at the skin there.
“The Mississippi,” Ben replied casually, before continuing to drag his tongue until he encountered Mike’s erection, sticking straight up. Ben pressed a kiss to the tip, “And, here’s The Space Needle.”
Mike sat up with an amused look on his face, “The Space Needle isn’t a topographic landmark and is NOWHERE near the—ohhGOD—” Mike fell back onto the bed, moaning loudly, as Ben had taken him into his mouth in one go. “Jesus, warn a man -”
Ben only laughed, the sound muffled by Mike’s cock in his mouth. He swirled a tongue about the tip before opening his mouth wider to take more of Mike into his mouth. Ben trailed a hand up to entwine with Mike’s as he continued to pleasure his love. The sounds of Mike sighing and moaning spurred Ben on, pushing him to give it as good as Mike had hours ago. He pulled his mouth back, letting his free hand continue to stroke Mike as he took in the sight of his love with his head thrown back, lost in the sensations.
He felt his breath catch as those green eyes turned to look into his blue, a crooked grin on that handsome Irish face. Ben leaned up to kiss those full lips, his hand still stroking at Mike’s hard member. He smiled into those lips as he felt Mike’s hand pull away to cradle his face in his big hands, controlling the kiss as he saw fit.
“What do you need, Michael?” Ben asked as they pulled away for air.
“You know what I need.”
“Think the baby minds that I keep invading?”
“He’s just a clump of cells right now - he’ll just think it’s turbulence.” Mike planted his feet on the bed, slotting Ben between his legs. “This a good enough clue, Mr. Stone?”
Ben said nothing at first but released his grip on Mike’s cock to reposition himself better, before reaching over to where they’d left the lube. Mike closed his eyes in pleasure as Ben took his time in slicking himself up while preparing Mike.
“You think it’s a boy?” Ben asked, conversationally, as he continued to thrust his fingers in and out, driving his lover mad.
“G-god, what do you think?”
“I wouldn’t mind a girl, either.” Ben teased, his fingers bending and searching before finding the clump of nerves that caused Mike to cry out.
“M-me neither…Jesus, Ben,” Mike groaned, “You’re terrible, you know that -”
“Patience is a virtue, my love,” Ben kidded, still stretching.
“And payback is a bitch, Stone.”
“Ooh, language.”
Mike growled, pulling Ben down to kiss him hungrily, satisfied in the dazed look in those blue eyes as they parted. “I want you. Now.”
“Yes, sir.” Ben agreed, carefully beginning to press into Mike’s entrance. He enjoyed how Mike’s body reacted to their physical connection, watching how that body flowed with him in unison. Ben covered his love with his body, carefully rolling his hips, Mike’s arms tight around him, those delicious little gasps and sighs tickling Ben in the little recesses of his brain, completely devoid of thought and focused only on sensation.
This connection - this is where Ben always longed to be, held in the arms of his love, his love, his heaven. His Michael. The one bearing their child. His forever.
Forever. Ben and Mike wanted this connection to be forever, their lovemaking to stretch to the end of time, but as their breathing began to quicken, the need to come came roaring in like a river. Ben bent down, gasping, to kiss Mike, their tongues twining in between moans. Ben leaned up and began to quicken his pace, hammering into Mike, watching him intently, telling his how amazing he felt, how much he loved him, his forever, and Mike was suddenly coming, untouched, crying out as he bent his head back, lost in the overwhelming sensations of his orgasm.
Ben followed soon after, gasping and sputtering, coming deep into Mike. Once spent, he draped himself about Mike, not quite caring about anything else in that moment, just the blissful sensations of yet another overwhelming orgasm. He pressed a butterfly-soft kiss to Mike’s jaw, nuzzling into his neck.
They lay there like that, still connected until sleep claimed them both.
