I also wondered if Nik is better at mixed doubles than he is as skip of @teamniklasedin I guess we’ll find out eventually 🤔 What if he ends up qualifying for both MD & team for the 2022 Olympics? ON HIS EIGHTEENTH BIRTHDAY, HE WAS BEQUEATHED HIS GREAT-GRANDFATHER’S SWORDS, WHICH INTERESTED HIM ENOUGH TO RESEARCH HIS HERITAGE. WHEN HE LEARNED OF HIS DIRECT CONNECTION TO ONE OF THE LAST GREAT SAMURAI CLANS OF JAPAN HE BEGAN TO DABBLE IN THE MARTIAL ARTS AND SWORDSMANSHIP, QUICKLY BECOMING ADEPT AT BOTH. AFTER TWO GENERATIONS OF HIS FAMILY'S REJECTION OF THE WAYS OF THE SAMURAI BUDO TOOK IT UPON HIMSELF TO RENEW THE FAMILY LEGACY. HE HAS BEEN PRACTICING THOSE WAY’S EUER SINCE. DURING THIS TRAINING, HE FELT THAT TIME IN THE MILITARY WOULD HELP REFINE AND DEFINE HIS MIND AND ABILITIES, AND HE JOINED, SERVING WITH DISTINCTION, GAINING THE ATTENTION OF DUKE AND HAWK. HE HAS QUICKLY RECRUITED FOR THE TEAM .

THE MAN EXUDES A CALM CONFIDENCE THAT BELIES HIS HISTORY AS A COUNTERCULTURE TEENAGER. BEING IN THE SAME ROOM AS BUDO CAUSES OTHERS TO CENTER AND FOCUS, BRINGING AN AIR OF STABILITY AND LEVEL-HEADEDNESS THAT DEFIES DESCRIPTION.

WHILE I WOULD NEVER CHOOSE TO WILLINGLY SACRIFICE THE INFLUENCE HE HAS IN THE CIVILIAN WORLD, I WOULD HOPE SOMEDAY THAT BUDO'S PATH LEADS HIM BACK TO ACTIVE DUTY WITH THE UNIT. HE'S QUITE POSSIBLY ONE OF THE MOST OVERLOOKED- AND UNDERSTATED - ASSETS THIS UNIT POSESSES.

Plant, I am really curious about when approximately you realised that Meghan was a problem? While I never trusted her, I didn't pick up on any receipts until early 2019. You've had her number for real since before "Love Shield". What did you see or find out that turned you against her and when was it?

I’ve been #TeamHater since she pap-walked in wells and Barbour in front of the DM offices after issuing the KP statement. I knew immediately she set that up on purpose and I was aghast at the hypocrisy and disrespect of it all.

IMO, that’s still the ultimate Meghan move. It was timed to overshadow a royal event, namely Remembrance. It was full of fake signifiers like the red poppy, the Barbour and the wellies. It had holier-than-thou faux philanthropy in the Whole Foods bag. It sought media attention while hypocritically pretending to want privacy. It included a gutsy lie (the fake break-in). It had absolutely everything. Vintage Meghan.

We got a ton of pr after that pap walk claiming that she was eager to learn how to behave like a royal and she had just made some rookie mistakes, but that turned out to be false. Pap-walking Meghan was the real Meghan. Everything she has done after that has been a continuation of the Remembrance Day strategy.
