"So we got the afternoon off, whatcha wanna do?" Gibbs addressed the team.

"Well I know what you want to do." You smiled and rolled your eyes.

"What's that?"

"Work in your basement on the boat with nothing to accompany you but whiskey?"

"Bourbon," Gibbs corrects.

"Well I have a date," Tony grabbed his bag, sprinting out the door before he could be called back in.

"And I am going to get a manicure," Ziva explained.

"Abby and I are going to see a movie," Tim grabbed his things, going down to find the scientist. 

"You?" Gibbs turns to you.

"Catching a cab and going home."

"Cab?"

"Yeah my cars in the shop with a flat. Should be ready by tomorrow but for now that's my only option."

"Lemme drive you home," Gibbs offered.

"Oh no it's ok. My apartment's on the complete opposite side of town that your house is, I don't want you to go out of your way."

"Y/N, it's ok."

"Ok then, if you insist. If you want to you could stay for drinks after? Since we're not working."

"Sure. Let's go."

You and your boss had something that certain people would call unresolved sexual tension. Neither of you spoke about it but you knew it was there; maybe that's the reason why when you rode in the car together and he put his hand on your knee you didn't pull away. But it's also why neither of you had asked the other out yet.

"Alright if we take a little detour?" Gibbs asked.

"I suppose. I don't have to be anywhere so yeah."

"Kay."

Gibbs took a sharp turn onto a back road.

"Uh, what are you doing?" You held onto the handle above the door and gripped the seat with the other as to not be thrown around.

"We're goin' for a little ride."

"Why?"

"'Cause why not?"

"Can you just take the normal way?" You really weren't in the mood for one of your boss's back road joyrides. "I have laundry I need to do. Kinda just want to get home."

"Spend too much time alone, ya' know that?"

"Really?" You scoff. "Coming from the man who's had three ex wives and the only thing he does for fun is get drunk by himself." 

"Could get drunk with me," Gibbs smirked. He pulled his hand off your knee and pressed on the accelerator. "Hold on." The car bounced unnervingly over the gravel but something told you that Gibbs had total control. The car hopped over a large rock and you grunted. 

"If we get out of this alive, can I go home?"

"We'll see."

He made another sharp turn and in front of you seemed to be something of an airport. "What is this?" You ask

"Abandoned air strip." Gibbs explained, speeding up even more. "Think you'd like this a little more than the backroads."

"Thanks?" 

Gibbs took turns and straights like he was running on a formula 1 track. After taking a glance over you saw you were going over 100. Realizing it was all of, you let loose, smiling and laughing when you spun out of a turn or when Gibbs turned on Party In The U.S.A.

"Miley Cyrus!!?" You exclaim. "Who woulda thought!" You snorted like you were a little kid. Gibbs pulled the car around a tight hairpin, laughing along with you. The car skirted over some debris and as Gibbs turned a sharp corner, the wheels on your side of the car popped off the ground. "Holy crap holy crap holy crap," you rambled. "Gibbs Gibbs Gibbs!!" With one last hoorah he drifted perfectly into a parking space. 

“You alright?” 

“Alright?? I think I almost died!” You let out a breath, leaning back in your seat. 

"Died?" Gibbs scoffed. "C'mon Y/N don't you have any sense of adventure?

"Uhhhh-" you shook your head.

"Alright alright, I'll take ya' home now."

"No wait," you interject. "Let me drive."

"Kay." He shut off the car and switched seats with you. "Know how to get outta here?"

"Out?" You grin, turning the car back on and looking over at your boss. "Who said we're getting out of this?" 

"You doin what I think you doin?"

"Depends on what you think I'm doing." You press your foot to the gas. 

"Hey Y/N? Don't crash my car." Gibbs once again slides his hand over onto your knee.

"I'm going to if you keep distracting me like that." You jerk the wheel to the right and a flurry of happiness erupts in your chest as Gibbs squeezes his hand tighter to keep hold of you. He reaches over and turns the radio up higher. 

"Wouldn't dream of distracting you."

can you imagine if the roles were reversed and the Bermans had a deal with the devil instead and it goes to the first born daughter? i don't think the sarah fier curse would had happened tho, and i don't think they would have picked cyrus miller either. probably drunk tom. and if somehow the family lines had continued as they did in the story, i feel like nick would have been okay with it possibly. anyway, love reading your thoughts on these movies ✌

huh, that's interesting! But if was Abby, the eldest daughter, don't think she'd have chosen her beau Thomas as a sacrifice. Still, it would be very interesting to the see the reversal. Does the town still split? Why would the Bermans "need" to deal with Satan? They seemed rather established in town, and iirc (might be wrong) they're not farmers but something else. Maybe some sort of tradesmen. If they're daughters, does it take longer to figure out since they don't keep the name as generations go on?

Or is it, if I may, in this instance, not the eldest but the youngest. Constance. Who maybe, in her youthful impulse and issues with authority and the church (playful in the film, but darker for our purposes) the one that reaches out her hand? Maybe to challenge the stiffling role she would have had as a woman? And instead of establishing something like the Goode Fam Legacy, Sunnyvale becomes known for these strong, era-defying women, second daughters, that all trace back to the same woman, over time... And hey, maybe since it's murder central, why wouldn't they need leaderly women? Without knowing that it was them, all along.............. Mayhaps, this is the twist this version has on witch legends? (Vs the original having Sarah be innocent all along)

So here's a headcannon dump of me & my wife's wiz characters (who are dating)

Some things first:

* Abby is Malistaires Daughter, like no one knows for obvious reasons

* Abby is 16, is a death student but considering a secondary school

* Fallon is 19 and is Ahead of Abby in school

* Fallon is Myth/Fire

* Abby has a pet blue Shadowbeast named Midnight

* Fallon has a pet Imp

* Abby has Narcolepsy

- Fallon has a bunch of creepy stuff scattered around her room that Abigail got for her, she doesn't..love the aesthetic but keeps it anyway because it reminds her of Abigail, plus it makes Abby smile

- Abigail has a pet cyclops but it stays at her dorm

- they constantly tease eachother about eachothers stereotypes & teachers, Abby has old family pics of Cyrus when he had an afro lol

- Fallon buys Abby a bunch of colorful/girly stuff it clashes with all the black in Abby's dorm

- Abby spends time with the death tree in nightside, she'll sit against him and listen to his stories, often falling asleep with midnight on her lap

- they both will wait for eachother outside their schools after class (they get out at different times), no one really pays attention to Abby but Fallon looks pretty out of place at nightside, no one's mean though

- they'll often have lunch together, usually have picnics at different places around wizard city

- Fallon knows more about death history than most death students, both thanks to Abby and because of her need to know everything

- Fallon could totally blackmail Cyrus with all the family secrets if she wanted (so far hasn't, she just likes poking fun at him when she can get away with it)

- argue about which school is better, sometimes gets heated because they're both very passionate about school pride (not malicious though)

- apology gifts include stuffed animals or minions in Fallon's case with a note saying "sorry you think your school is better xoxoxo"

- facetiming but with magic mirrors

- pet/minion howlers during class

- naps! Usually around ravenwood, in school towers or against trees, Abby falls asleep on Fallon (Fallon usually gets a nap in too)

- Fallon has a little "Abby nap time" bag with like snacks and usually a blanket & pillow, and treats for midnight, little creepy trinkets to give to Abby when she's sad (teeth, bones, poisonous herbs, graveyard dirt, Halloween toys etc.)

- "follow moody Abby around" day is actually a thing, in their calanders. Abby gets to drag Fallon around anywhere she wants and nerd out about whatever Fallon likes it because:

a.) Learn new thing

b.) Abby is adorable

- hide & seek!

- Abby loves following/stalking Fallon when she's doing school stuff, half the time she sits in on class (Cyrus deals because..what's he gonna do?)

- sitting on eachothers desks

- playing with & braiding hair during class

- help eachother with homework!

- Fallon will go with Abby during class on bad days and take notes in case she falls asleep

- Abby puts dead twigs in fallons hair; usually braids them in, Fallon has no idea why and is just very confused about it

- Abby won't answer why

- neither of them like..really understand eachothers schools? Fallon grasps more than Abby but she still just..doesn't get some of the things the death kids do.

- "She's confused but she's got spirit" for both

- Like fallon will always ask before getting Abby anything like graveyard dirt because she doesn't want to cause anything bad or whatever, doesn't get why she just knows its important

- Cyrus thinks their cute & tries really hard not be biased toward them

- they're pretty open. Wizard city is pretty accepting, everyone knows their together

- they both put random shit in eachothers bags/pockets

- rocks, crystals, dirt, twigs, candy, trinkets, handy/cute school supplies (troll & vampire pencil caps etc)

- Each school has a merch store

- Abby is the goblin friend

- Abby's favorite nap place is ravenwood, she loves being by the school trees (death life & myth are her favorites)

- like Abby spends times with those 3 trees a lot. They appreciate it greatly, only a handful of students actually spend time with them (well.. a lot of life students do but this isn't about them)

- Abby actually gets along pretty well with life students, myth students..hit or miss, and she's too nervous to talk to other death students

- moolinda really wants Abby to join her class

- mental picture of Fallon sitting on her unicorn in nightside waiting for Abby to get out, other death students just kinda watching her as they walk by, confused as to why she's there

- Abby, asleep against the myth tree waiting for fallon

- they go to eachothers school parties, the students just kinda accept this because no one is gonna tell them they can't party together (Usually it's myth/death school only)

- Fallon has beef with either an ice or storm student. Said student is..terrified of abby

- death students are known for their theatrics and are working on getting a theater club up and running

- Abby talks to herself, or spirits. Fallon isn't sure

- Abby had to collect something in sunken city, at the end of it she literally told the mobs "hello yes I hate you all please have a terrible day rotting in this dusty cave" flipped them off and roller bladed away

- Abby got Fallon into roller blading. They both have actual mounts, but Abby roller blades like 85% of the time

- usually with midnight either on her shoulders or flying beside her, they race

- Fallon barging into abbys rooms and opening curtains "you 👏🏻 need 👏🏻 some 👏🏻 sunlight!"

"You may be a death student but your not actually dead come on lets go get Boba"

- Proceeds to drag a half dead Abby out of bed and out the door

- Will totally summons a minion to get her up

"This troll will destroy everything in your room if you aren't up in 5 seconds!"

On Olivia's epiphanies, growth, friends...

Anyway, two things that I love for Liv: 1. her having a good time with friends & sharing (!) to them, 2. I don't know why but I am somehow glad when she shed tears when she received Fitz' gifts. I don't know but it feels like she's finally ready to stop lying to herself.--ugotpoped

Can I just say, I LOVED Kenny and Abby in this chapter. Honestly, someone as stubborn and proud as Olivia needs friends like these to not get so wrapped up in her own greatness and remind her that she's still a human being with human needs. Those two are so great, especially together.--@jilyandbambi

I felt the same way. I didn't know if she would cry, but I knew she would feel something. Her unloading that denial was necessary.

One of the reasons I wanted to do an AU is because I really think all that White House and government shit (much as I enjoyed it) took away so much of her personal life. A fantasy world as her mother called it. So, this story is my attempt at wondering how her personality and past scars would function in a less toxic, more 'normal' world. In this world she gets to have real friends and she can't hide behind bearing the weight of the Republic.

She let go of everything and everyone she perceived to have done her wrong, including Fitzgerald Grant III. To some degree maybe he was to blame for her life spiraling out of control. But what does Fitz have to do with her obvious lack of romantic feelings for Edison?--@Olitzloverforever

There's a lot of disagreement (the poll I put up) about if Fitz is to blame for the spiraling that happened to Liv. I don't take that view. He absolutely did not drop off the jacket in the correct location, but in his mind it was more convenient for her if he left it there. Then a perfect storm ensued to produce what happened. Mellie exploited and Cyrus defended.

But the real tea? EYE think Olivia blaming Fitz as the ultimate cause allows her a place engage with him, think about him, in a way that doesn't make her feel guilty.

I really felt for Liv, much more than I managed while watching the show, I think because you let us see inside her head. I LOVED reading about her fantasies and longings for Fitz. There were so many good lines in those paragraphs, my favourite being, "He looked as pretty as a heartache". UGH! Fucking punch me in the chest why don'tcha!--@aprillea

I'm so glad you could understand and empathize with my Olivia. One thing I must divulge--that particular line is from a song: Naked by Tracy Bonham, one of several songs that influenced the mood of Liv's episode. I really wanted to work that line in. It's so good!

I feel for Olivia, who seems bound by responsibility and duty, and taught to compartmentalize and suppress her emotions. Eli and Edison area pair, and in some twisted way, Olivia feels satisfaction at providing each the other. I do feel sorry for her because she is conflicted about allowing herself to feel anything, especially something for Fitz. I love how she showed up for Kenny on the night that hurts him the most.--@kelleekellkell

I love how you connect her character to her upbringing. Her preference for fantasy over reality is so intriguing to me, as is her tendency to compartmentalise. If everything is controlled and in a box then reality will be predictable and safe. I wish someone would tell her that love doesn't work that way. --@aprillea

Queen of compartmentalization, and even Edison makes ribs her for it. It is absolutely a coping mechanism to keep herself from being overwhelmed. What Fitz stirs in her life defies category. It feels good, but Olivia, over the years, has naturalized 'feel good' into something else. She's now fighting against nature. I sure hope she finds her way.

One more thing, Yes, Eli and Edison are definitely a pair. They're doing the same thing to Liv, though one is softer in his approach. I remember reading about how children with an emotional deficit become adults tend to seek out pleasing behaviors, or identify themselves as people who solve problems. It really stayed with me. This is a coping mechanism that allows them not to depend on other people caring for them, and helps convince themselves and others that they have few emotional needs. This leads to loneliness. If this is what Olivia pushes, no wonder its hard for even Edison to see how deeply dissatisfied she is. She tries hard not to let people see it. But the discerning always do.

ACS Week: Day 4 AU

I wanted to at least TRY and get something done for ACS week. So....here’s a little something that hasn’t been seen in a while. NoTeams!AU with Gamer!Cyrus-which seems to have become more of a thing since I’ve left-and FilmMaker!Gio.

It was an intense game Cyrus was playing. A horror survival that has repercussions if you lose anyone in the party. The game itself would autosave after you make your choice, making it almost impossible to retry after the choice was made. Nerve Wracking but enjoyable in a way. 

The game itself had a well thought out story and the characters were well handled. Gio was impressed. Sure there were times where he would get invested in Cyrus’ playing, but that was more watching the younger man play. 

This...this was him actively enjoying the game. Hell, Cyrus was even asking him for second opinions too. It was, really nice actually. 

The chat was also enjoying it from the comments they left behind.

“Shut up Boii,” Cyrus huffed as his eye darted over to the chat for a brief moment. Even since that time he and Augustine streamed together, and meeting the other through one of the matches they played, there was a spark. 

A spark that grew to include YaaBoii and his other friends to join in. Cyrus wasn’t sure how to feel about SisSkullFlower just yet. She was intense and rather competitive. She was also really insanely good at almost anything. 

Then there was the other one...FabEliteCheif. Dude had an ego. 

And that was all Cyrus could take away from him. 

Alright that was a lie. He was arrogant too. Annoying...full of himself…

They hit it off right away. 

“You hear that?” Gio’s voice broke in. 

“Hm?” Cyrus stopped his character and listened. “That sounds like Maggie…”

“Should we follow that or just go to the meeting point?” 

Cyrus chewed at his lip. A choice to make, meaning that it’s either going to have a good outcome, or a bad outcome. He already restarted the game twice because of the decision he and Gio made, had several of the characters get killed within the first fifteen minutes of play. 

He was now well into almost five hours into the game. That means if he made a wrong choice he would need to restart all over again. 

And he was tempted too. He liked this character, Abby. She reminded him a lot of Cynthia. Confident, certain...she had this leadership quality to her. However, even with all those traits she still had flaws. The stress and surreal nature of the threat made her come off as cold and harsh. 

Cyrus and Gio jumped as an alert suddenly sounded. 

FabEliteChief raiding with a party of 35

“You’re a dick Fab,” Cyrus huffed. “Thanks for the raid.” 

FabEliteCheif: I COULD have taken my raid elsewhere you know. 

Cyrus rolled his eyes. “Yeah yeah you say that all the time. Good stream?” 

FabEliteCheif: Good enough, Col wanted to get attention though so I got distracted. 

“I would never know how that feels,” Cyrus smirked as he glanced at Gio.

Gio chuckled and leaned over to kiss his cheek quickly. 

MODYaaBoii: COC yo!

“You kiss your girlfriend AND boyfriend all the time on stream so don't start,” Gio pointed out.

“You also do that lap challenge, where you have one of them sit in your lap as you play,” Cyrus added. 

FabEliteCheif: Wait, are you playing Survive the Dawn?

“Yes, and I’m trying to figure out which way to go,” Cyrus huffed. “You played it before right?” 

MegloChance: THat’s cheating GL!!

FabEliteChief: I have, all I can say is; Good frickin’ luck. I’m gonna go give Col attention now. 

“Yeah later,” Cyrus sighed and looked to Gio. “What do you think?” 

Gio pondered for a moment. If he recalled the character Maggie was the one most against trying to stay together. Concerned for her own survival than the rest. However, she and the character Abby were close friends. If she died, there was a chance Cyrus could lose options later in the game. “I think we should follow the voice.”

Cyrus nodded. He made the choice and Abbey made it down the narrow passage. Once he got to a certain point, his heart sank as he no longer was controlling the character. Realizing the mistake he made, he set the controller down and leaned back in the chair, arms crossing over his eyes and awaited Abby’s fate. 

There was a shriek, and a scream...followed by the sounds of bones cracking and something hitting the ground...before the scrapping sound of the body being dragged against the cavern floor, and off camera. 

Gio covers his face. Welp, he fucked up. 

CanalclaveDawn: OH NO!

SGTMareepFluff: RIP Abby. 

MegloChance: GL? You alright?

MODYaaBoii: What did I say about fuckin up?

Cyrus sighed as he pulled off his headset and got up from his chair. Gio blinked as he watched the other. Cyrus was out of the webcam’s sight, but the microphone picked up the frustrated shout clearly. 

Gio covered his mouth as he tried not to laugh. THIS was something he wasn’t expecting. He watched as Cyrus trudged back over and leaned over the back of his own chair, holding his head in his hands. “...the rest of the stream is PokeCrossing...and I’m going to replay this off stream and make sure she doesn’t die.” 

“Il mio cuore,” Gio chuckled. 

Cyrus lifted his head and gave a playful glare to him. “I’m not asking for your opinion again.”

A/N: Here appears my third RDR2 OC, Daniela. Hope you like it!

“Hey, Joy.”

“Hi, Daniela.” She replied as she left a hay bale next to the horses.

Daniela was a cuban woman, a little older than her, perhaps she was around twenty-nine or thirty. She mostly cooked and washed clothes, but sometimes she went out to steal. She spent the day arguing with Miss Grimshaw, but unlike the other girls (Joy included), Grimshaw never raised a hand to her. They had a strange respect for each other despite fighting all day. It was this what made Joy feel a little scared every time they spoke.

“You won’t stop moving around camp. Wouldn't it be more comfortable to wear pants?”

Joy looked at her in surprise, she definitely wasn't expecting that.

“Err... Yes, I have always thought about buying some but I have never had the courage.”

“Boberías. I don't use mine much here but I usually wear them for robberies and let me tell you they are very comfortable. Now I was going to take Altagracia to town to go buy some new ones.” She said while patting affectionately the neck of her mare, a red dapple Tennessee Walker. “You comin’?”

She blinked, confused, before showing a wide smile.

“’Course!”

“Good.” she replied getting on her horse. Joy excitedly rushed to ride Berry. She had been given a spare saddle as in the incident on the farm her brother had been unable to saddle her before fleeing.

Abigail passed near the horses. “¡Hey, Abby! Can you tell Tommy I'm going to town?”

"Yes!" She said waving goodbye.

“Thank you!”

They both rode to town.

“Do you want to do your first job?” Daniela asked. She was ahead of her and had to raise her voice for her partner to hear her.

“Yes! Why not?” She exclaimed more and more excited. “What’s the plan?”

“Yesterday a big fish from Saint Denis came to town. I think he wants to open a gun store taking advantage of the fact that this is a very busy place of passage. The thing is this man has two big hobbies apart from money: drinking and women.”

“Ohhh, I see what you mean.”

“Exactly! If we can get him drunk enough, stealing from him will be a piece of cake.” She concluded confidently.

"Let's try then!"

When they reached the village, they left the horses at the mooring in front of the tavern. They entered and it wasn’t difficult to locate the subject they were looking for: he was leaning against the bar and wearing elegant and high-quality clothing. He seemed a little drunk. Each of them groomed as they could -Joy untied her hair and Daniela lowered the sleeves of her shirt, exposing her shoulders- and together they went to talk to their prey.

They introduced themselves, suggesting, and the man quickly followed suit, glad to receive attention. Taking advantage of this, they soon emboldened: As Joy was talking to him, Daniela had hugged him, managing to sneakily take out the hundred dollars that he kept in the inside pocket of his jacket. In another oversight, Joy was able to remove his gold watch.

The man apologized, rushing out the back door -probably about to throw up- and the girls took the opportunity to leave the saloon and finally go to the store, where they bought three pants, two shirts -one of them for Tommy- and a bag of goodies -for Jack and Tommy-.

Joy was euphoric, it was her first robbery and it had turned out perfect, nobody had noticed and they also had money left over.

“At first I was sorry for him, but as soon as he started to tell us how he had gotten the money, I wasn’t.” She said with a giggle as she left the watch in the donation box and wrote down her name in the ledger.

“Cabrón. I have never met a rich man who wasn’t shady. Soon you won't feel sorry for any of them.” Daniela commented sarcastically.

“I had a great time Dani, thank you for taking me with you.” She was so happy that she hugged her and, saying goodbye she ran to give the treats to her brother, leaving her new friend stunned, she wasn’t expecting so much affection.

“You came back! Next time take me with you!” Tommy huffed annoyed. He was finishing dinner with Abigail and Jack.

“Sorry, it was unexpected, but I brought you a new shirt, I left it in our trunk.” She said kissing him on the forehead. “Also… Ta-dah! I’ve brought goodies for you.” The children gave a little cry of joy as Joy handed them the bag. “Share.” They thanked her and ran to eat them in the tent that the younger shared with his mother.

“Thank you Joy.” Abigail said. "How about in town? You seem happy."

"Daniela and I have robbed a rich man! It was fun."

“Oh, tell me.” Joy took a plate of stew and while she ate she told her in great detail everything that had happened to them in that saloon. Javier sat at the table with his guitar. He greeted them and played absentmindedly. Finally Abigail went to her tent to put Jack to bed, the signal to Tommy that he should go to his bedroll.

"So your first robbery, huh?" Javier commented.

"Yes, it was very exciting!"

“Take this.” He said pouring her a drink. "We have to celebrate it."

Joy gladly accepted the cup.

"Ah, you do know how to cheer up a woman." She winked at him.

“’Course I know! In each town I have them all at my feet.” He replied mischievously.

"Pfff, how cocky. Maybe you would have me at your feet if you gave me the five dollars you owe me." Joy blurted out laughing. Javier rolled his eyes, took the money out of his pocket and gave it to her.

"A pleasure to do business with you." She cooed.

"Any suggestions?" He asked gesturing to his guitar.

"I don’t know. Something cheerful." Javier thought a moment before starting to play. Joy giggled.

“The Louisville Maid!” she exclaimed amused. Javier smiled at her while still playing, looking into her eyes. Joy cleared her throat and began to sing it, gesturing and emphasizing the lyrics when necessary. When the song ended, she laughed out loud. Javier looked at her with amusement.

“What a show. Have a nice voice too.”

“Thank you Mr. Escuella!”

“You really are happy, huh?”

Joy replied with another giggle.

"My name is Joy for a reason. My mother used to say that more than crying, I was born laughing.” She paused. "The truth is that it's been a long time since I had such a good time. Today was a good day."

“I’m glad then.”

"It... It wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for you. I know..." She swallowed. “I know I already said this but... Thank you very much. For saving my brother, for saving me. You… You were the one who killed Cyrus… I'm really grateful to you. I don't know how to explain it but... I was relieved you know? He was harassing me for more than three years, I didn't know what to do. So... Really. Thank you.”

Javier was speechless. He didn’t expect that, not at a time like this, when the atmosphere was cheerful. A warm sensation ran through his body and he couldn't help placing a hand on the girl's shoulder.

"I'm happy to have been able to help." The smile Joy gave her was beautiful and genuine. He liked that smile.

"I should go to sleep. Tomorrow is another day of work." she said getting up.

“See you tomorrow.”

I did not keep my dog.

I keep seeing posts about “I kept my dog”. Did I want to keep my dogs? Absolutely. But the thing about having children, is that they come first. Parents make sacrifices for their children. I had 2 German Shepherds: Abby and Cyrus. I rescued them from a back yard breeder turned crack head. I loved those dogs more than anything. Then Val came along. I had less time for them, but I was still going to keep them. 

That was, until Cyrus became unbearably jealous of my baby. He began to attack Abby around Val. So with a broken heart, I did not keep him. Should I have waited until he hurt my baby? Then I would have had a dead dog, and a hurt child all because I was too selfish to part ways with him. So he went to a friend of mine who had just lost his K-9. Fast forward 3 years later. We have a new baby, Charlie, and 2 chow chows, and Abby. Everyone existed in harmony for a while. Abby became increasingly aggressive with the other dogs. I then began to separate them, doing everything I could to keep the peace. She attacked the other dogs every chance she got. She wanted blood, and didn’t care who or what was around. She began charging at the gates that separated her from the other dogs, scaring my 3 year old to tears several times a day. She started running away, messing on the floor, and causing discontent and fear in my house.

 Again, should I keep her? I had this dog for 7 YEARS! Of course I didn’t want to “get rid of her” but what was the alternative? Have a hurt child or a dead dog, which would ultimately result in her death as well? I called shelters, who will only take an aggressive dog to euthanize. Several shelters urged me to consider it. My heart broke at the thought, so I began a search for the perfect home. I ended up finding a retired couple that lived a couple of hours away. They have thanked me for giving them “the best dog they’ve ever had”. They have grown children, and no other dogs. The wife stays home all day, providing non stop attention. They really were the perfect ones. 

So moral of the story, don’t judge other people’s decisions. It tore my heart apart to give away these dogs I rescued and brought into my home. But, there were more important issues than my feelings, such as my family’s safety. So if you can keep your dog, good for you. If you can’t, that’s nobody’s business but yours. So STFU and stop shaming me for keeping my babies safe.

her original pick for vp was jake ballard,  who was blackmailed out of the position and replaced by frankie vargas’ widow,  luna.  luna died the evening of mellie’s inauguration and was replaced by cyrus beene.

olivia was replaced as chief of staff by jake ballard,  who tried to push mellie out of office with the aid of cyrus beene.

jake was later arrested and sent to a maximum security prison,  and cyrus was forced by olivia to resign as vp.

underwent impeachment hearings during her first year in office,  though they were later found to be under false pretenses presented by jake ballard. 

i headcanon that she convinces susan ross,  who ran against her for president,  to come on as vp;  and abby whelan,  who worked previously as fitz’s chief of staff,  to come on as her chief of staff,  as cyrus resigned,  jake imprisoned,  and olivia refused to come back on.

also this isn’t necessarily crucial to mellie,  but david rosen definitely didn’t die and is helping mellie to restore her public image post impeachment-hearings.

The fundraiser will help raise critical funds for the Library for the Performing Arts’ beloved Theatre Division as it celebrates its 90th anniversary this year.
