BitterSweet Trio

(they’re all dating your honor)

The seasons were changing which means Alphonse changes out all of the plushy‘s on the bed in exchange for the seasonal ones. And this time he recruited his Boo!

So there they sat on the Bed they shared, sifting through varieties of different soft plush toys, while binging episodes of the Mandalorian. Lost in thought that is until Al sees a very familiar plush that caught his attention.

“Holy shit haven’t seen this lil guy in a long fucking time” Sugarboo plops on the bed “Haven’t seen what?-OOoOoO cute bear!” Alphonse held the bear up to get the full view of it “HEY SETH! BABE GET IN HERE AND COME SEE THIS!”

It wasn’t too long before he heard Seth walking down the hallway to the bedroom “Alphonse I swear if your tryin’ to get me to kill another spider I ain’t doing it” he walks into the bedroom and sees the what Alphonse is holding “holy shit”

Sitting inAlphonse’s hands was a very familiar plush bear. The bottom of the belly as well as its legs and paws we’re light pink with a small shine, the top half looks like it was dipped in chocolate and covered in sprinkles, with two cotton candy blue buttons for the eyes. “remember this little guy?”

Seth smiled and sat next to Al on the Bed “of course I do” Sugarboo cocked their head. Seth took the bear in his hands and smiled

“When Al first came to the city with me he couldn’t sleep straight. It took nearly a week for him to tell me why” “guess I was too embarrassed to admit it was cause-” “You missed your plushies at home” Alphonse smiled and rubbed the back of his neck “so Seth snuck away to the cities mall when he had some free time and picked up this sweet thing and gave it to me as a little present” alphonse leaned up and kissed Seth on the cheek, causing the southern boys face to flush pink.

Sugarboo looked at the tag that was on the Bears foot “goody Bears! I used to collect these when I was little. there part of the reason why I love baking so much” Seth looks around the room at the piles and bins of plushy‘s “what were you guys doing that required all of these?” alphonse sets the bear on his lap before grabbing a handful of beanie babies and throwing them at Seth “seasonal plushy rotation!” Seth almost successfully catches them “why do you have so many of these?” Alphonse face saddens before turning into a soft smile “well…you know…my Ma used to collect um’…she always had a dozen for each season and she’d put them on the mantle along with the other decorations” seth looks down at the small pile of beanie babies in his lap and looks back up at Alphonse “well then. hand me the bag I’ll start going through um’ you just tell me which ones to put aside”

They rearranged their seating positions, Seth on the left, Alphonse on the right, Sugarboo in the middle.

“Do you wanna put on a movie? I don’t think Seth has seen the Mandalorian yet and I don’t wanna spoil it for him” “Yea. Seth you can pick. Me and Boo are good with pretty much anything” they both look at Seth expectantly. He stares for a moment before scrambling for an answer. “um..well shit let me think here…. now don’t pick on me for this but..Ya got any of the Muppet movies on these fancy ass streaming services you’ve got?” the corners of Sugarboo‘s mouth start to curl and Alphonse snags the remote off the nightstand “Hell Yeah we’re watching Muppets! Got a specific one ya want Babe?” “yeah um.. they got Muppet treasure Island?” With just a few presses of a button Seth’s movie wishes were granted.

As the movie played on, the three got more comfortable, nearly abandoning the job that they started.

Seth’s head laid on Al’s shoulder his eyes growing heavy, Alphonse’s arm was around him gently brushing his fingers through his hair which wasn’t helping him stay awake, the other arm had the little sugarcoated bear from earlier tucked close to his side, Sugarboo was cozied up on top of them nestled under the blanket with a small mountain of plushy‘s weighing on their feet.

As the movie played, and his two partners struggled to stay awake, Alphonse was basking in it

He looks down at Seth‘s face. The face he has seen bloodied and bruised angry and sorrowful now completely peaceful. Then he looks at his Boo. a face he has seen nearly every day for five years a face he could never imagine going a day without.

And they are both here.

Two of his favorite people in this world, cuddled up in bed watching a movie they’ve all seen 1 million times.

And it’s happy, and it’s warm and it’s peaceful, and God dammit a deadly asteroid could be hurling towards earth at top speed right now, and he wouldn’t give a fuck. because this is where he wants to be

Slowly, drifting off to sleep in a pile of love and fluff.

Lingering in Remnants

While Shiho may have given up on one day performing with her childhood friends, she hasn't given up on her dream of becoming a professional bass player. She catches the attention of Akito while frequenting one of the live houses and they decide to team up after seeing the determination in each other. An's hunt for a partner has started to increase outside the typical crowd she hangs around with and she comes across Nene practicing alone around school.

They become a proper group when An and Akito see just how big Rad Weekend was and agree that they need more help. It's a bit of a struggle to form either a cohesive band or singing group as Shiho can't really sing while the other three can

Astral☆Imagery

With Saki newly out of the hospital, she wants to catch up on as many things as she can and what better way to do that then to start hanging around the amusement park for a bit. Emu notices her being upset after none of her childhood friends come with and decides to cheer her up with a show. Saki decides to help Emu out in return and later asks Airi if she wants to join after finding out about her breaking away from the idol industry. Mizuki gets involved when Emu decides she wants a new costume designer.

Airi decides theater acting can't be all that different from being on stage and wants to bring hope to people, but she's soon reminded of all the skits she would be forced to perform, while Mizuki is left wondering if this is the image they want for themselves

Chronic/Ally

Kanade still posts her music online, but Honami is a bit more involved this time after admitting she used to play the drums. She sticks around with Kanade more often when Kanade insists that she could use the extra sounds in making music. While Touya may have stopped practicing classical music, he hasn't completely broken from his fathers hold just yet to start singing. He takes to scrolling online when he comes across one of Kanade's songs and decides he wants to get back into composing for a bit. A similar situation happens with Haruka after she decides she can't be on stage anymore, except she still posts her singing under an anonymous name

They start forming a group after Kanade starts taking notice of their works and wants them to join her and Honami even if they don't want recognition at the moment

Euphoric Echoes

After Saki's hospitalization, Shizuku becomes increasingly worried about Tsukasa's increase in independence, which eventually leads her to find out about Ichika's when she starts to leave the idol industry on her own. She then starts seeing the same signs in Mafuyu after she meets her and decides to try one last time at inspiring hope in people.

They take a softer, acoustic approach to music with Tsukasa's piano and Ichika's guitar. Mafuyu still writes lyrics for Shizuku to sing. It's a little difficult to always meet up though with Mafuyu's mom, so Mafuyu tries to take advantage of either tutoring Ichika or Shizuku's popularity to get out of the house a bit more

Playhouse Collective

Rui has completely given up on trying to act like a 'normal' person and has elected to start taking the night classes where he occasionally runs into Ena. One day, Minori and Kohane are passing through when they notice on of his guerilla performances. With Minori facing another rejection letter, Kohane tries to encourage her with inspiring hope to people elsewhere. Minori decides on hunting down Rui to ask if she could join him when he refuses her. Becoming inspired by him herself, Kohane becomes determined in helping Minori catch his attention.

After they become a trio and Minori gets the idea to start posting videos and streaming, Rui enlists the help of Ena with her social media experience. Ena hadn't exactly been planning on joining a theater/idol mix, but if there's a chance for her art to get attention then she's willing to consider to proposition

So I was watching the book of life and I saw a scene where the mariachis were singing “just a friend” to get Maria attention and I had an idea for a request It’s canon that south not only plays the piano but he is number one on who’s the best singer. South did something that upset the the reader to the point of ignoring south. so south decides to apologize using he’s amazing singing and piano skills and late at night the reader hears small rocks being thrown at his window and he opens it and sees south’s gang carrying his piano and some of them are holding a sigh that says ‘I’m sorry’ and south starts playing on the piano and singing for the reader forgiveness (it be funny he he did sing ‘just a friend’ by Biz Markie but it’s all up to you and maybe to add a bit more humor maybe the reader is related to the kawata twins so the twins are yelling from the windows “get of my lawn” or “go away south (name) wants nothing to do with you”)

Okay not gonna lie. I haven't seen that movie in absolute years. So I was confused and did a shit ton of research but I refused to give up! I hope I wrote it correctly Enjoy!

South x Male Reader

Just a friend

It was rare when South and (Name) fight. But when they did it usually ended with (Name) apologizing. Since it was usually South getting jealous. Since (Name) was close to the old Tenjiku members. But this time South crossed a line and (Name) wasn't going to apologize this time. He was sick and tired of always apologizing.

So while the gang members stood around them watching everything go down. (Name) threw his hands up in the air. An unreadable expression on his face. The old Tenjiku members though knew this look. (Name) was done. "You know what South?" That's when South knew he messed up. (Name) never called him that. It was always some pet name.

South looked at (Name) with a raised eyebrow. "What?" (Name) turned around started walking away. "I'm done with not only you but your bullshit. I'm sick and tired of always being the "wrong one" and apologizing. But this time?" (Name) turned and glared at South. Tears in his eyes. "You can go fuck yourself." Everyone's Jaws dropped and they turned and stared at their leader.

Not only was his mouth dropped. But the Haitani brother and Kakucho behind him looked the most shocked. They never saw (Name) react like this. He was always so sweet and caring. Kakucho look at his leader confused. "What happened?" South shook his head glaring at the door where (Name) left a few moments before.

"The hell if I know! All I know is I saw him out with these twins with colorful hair! I should've known his ass wasn't loyal." The Haitani Brothers face-palmed. Was he being serious? Ran broke the silence. "Where the twins hair like a peach kinda tan and a blue kinda grey? Also was their hair fluffy? Like cotton candy?" South quickly turned around point at Ran with a hate filled look.

"Them! I told him I was gonna kill them for making him cheat on me!" Rindou stared at South. He looked at Ran. Ran put his head in his hands and shook his head. Everyone else was silent. They knew exactly who they were talking about. The famous Kawata twins. Smiley and Angry. Rindou thought how to explain while running his hand through his hair. Very annoyed.

Everyone knew how important the Twins were to (Name). They also knew the relationship between the trio. Well apparently everyone but South. "Those are the Kawata Twins....(Name)'s brothers!" South stared at Rindou confused. "(Name)'s brothers?" Rindou turned to his brother and Kakucho. He motioned them to South. He was already done.

"Yeah. They're also extremely important to (Name). Since it's just him and the twins. So since you said you'll kill them...." Ran held a hand out waiting for South to understand what he was saying. It South a while to actually get it. Since he was still angry with how (Name) left. South jumped front his seat and gripped his head. "I TOLD (NAME) I WAS GONNA KILL HIS TWINS AND ONLY FAMILY LEFT!"

The trio face-palmed. Took him long enough. South then began to do something very unlike him. He started panicking. "What am I gonna do?! (Name)'s gonna hate me forever! I lost my soulmate!" The trio groaned loudly. They were used to Izana being like this. But they thought South would be more mature.

"Wait! I have an idea!" South ran off into a room in the back. Everyone stared. They heard a bunch of grunting and crashing before South walked into the room with a huge smirk on his face. "Alright boys! I want you all to change into your best clothing." They all looked at him confused. South growled then yelled at them to "Just Fucking Do It!"

Back with (Name) he was crying on Angry's shoulder. Since he knew how to deal with emotions then their brother. "T-Then he said he was gonna kill you guys! He called me a whore Souya!" Smiley looked like he was ready to commit murder while Angry was just trying to calm (Name) down before he got sick....again.

Angry pulled (Name) away and wipe his tears. Giving him a smile only reserved for his brothers. "I'm gonna go grab your favorite ice cream from the store down the street and Nahoya is gonna make you your favorite Ramen. Okay (Name)?" (Name) nodded cuddling a stuffed (animal) it was a gift from South. He won it on their last date and didn't like it so he gave it to (Name). (Nah he won it for (Name). Boi just didn't want to admit it.)

As the twins left (Name) curled into his "special blanket". It was his favorite that he used when he was feeling especially upset. (Name) doesn't know how long he laid there. But he was enjoying the quiet. Well what was quiet.

*Tink*

(Name) looked confused until he saw a small rock hit his window. He walked towards the window and saw South and his gang. Wearing....tuxedo's? (Name) even more confused opened his window. Getting hit by a small rock. "Ouch! Hey what's the big deal!?" South ignoring the question motioned to his gang members. The Tenjiku members each held a sign that read "I'm Sorry (Name)"

When (Name) looked back at South he noticed a piano? Multiple gang members were holding the heavy instrument. South cleared his throat. He played a few notes and began singing. "You! You got what I need!" He took a deep breath. "But you say I'm just a friend! Yeah you say I'm just a friend! Oh baby you-" South was cut off with a a bowl of Ramen smacking him in the face.

Smiley now not smiling glaring hatefully at the male from the dining room window. "Get lost South! Get off my lawn and take your tacky gang with you!" He slammed the window shut. South brushed him off. Threw the bowl of Ramen on the ground and cleared his throat to continue. Until a quart of ice cream to the face knocked him over.

Angry now looking livid was walking back down the side walk. "Oi! Leave (Name) alone you ass! Take you lame song and stupid gang and get off our property!" Angry stomps into the house holding a plastic bag. South growls standing up and kicks the ice cream container making it explode on not only him but the members that were holding the piano.

South wasn't finished. He cleared his throat looking around making sure nobody was gonna interupt him that time. Until a potted plant breaks beside him. He looks up noticing the cat he had gotten (Name) glaring at him. Oh come on even (Pet Name)?! South growled louder and he heard (Name) call his name. He looked hopeful until he made eye contact with the glaring (Name).

"Not gonna work South." (Name) picked up the cat and slammed the window making eye contact with South as he closed the curtains. South stood there for a few minutes when the door opened and (Name) stepped out. South smirked knowing his music skills would win him over. He opened his mouth to call out to him.

But was once again cut off. "Kaku, Ran, and Rindou do you wanna join us for dinner? Nahoya made my favorite Ramen." The trio looked at each other then at South. They set the signs down and quickly made their way into the Kawata house and Rindou winked at South and shut the door talking to (Name) over his shoulder.

South won't give up that easy! But first....he needs to shower an wash these clothes.
