Note
Some Granny Weatherwax propaganda:
- Literally lives in the village of Bad Ass.
- Was bitten by some vampires once; they all started craving tea and cookies.
- Intimidated Death into losing a card game against her.
- Had a staring match against the sun, for multiple hours; only stopped because she heard a child crying.
- Always knows who and where she is.
- Grabbed a sword by the blade and 'didn't have time to get cut by it'
- Set a voodoo doll of herself on fire by sticking her hand into a torch.
- Did not run with the bulls; forced them to run away instead.
Bonus Nanny Ogg Propaganda:
- Rules the Ogg clan with an iron fist
- Brews her own alcohol strong enough to dissolve metal
- Can crack coconuts with her thighs
- Rumored to be even smarter than Granny Weatherwax
- Had a farmhouse land on her head ala The Wizard of Oz, and was fine
- Owns Greebo, a four legged demon in the shape of a cat.
Bonus Bonus Greebo Propaganda:
- Has killed at least two vampires.
- Said to be the single male ancestor of every cat in a wide radius
- Can turn into a human; he still has his claws in this shape
They sound so iconic honestly

Name: Tosho Hephestaur
Title: Hammer Forge Crab
Species: Carapaceon
Element: Fire
Status: Bleed, Stun
A hulking carapaceon whose presence is well known in volcanic regions. When one of these crabs is in the locale, every hunter and monster knows it. The clattering of metal sabatons upon stone and obsidian, the gurgling of lava within a molten shell, and of course, the thunderous ringing of hammer against iron. Tosho Hephestaur does not hide its presence, as its actions can be heard throughout the area. It does not do anything quietly or subtly, for it does not fear anything within its territory. Its carapaceon shell is already a fine suit of armor, but it goes the extra mile in forging itself an extra layer. This species carries with it a hollowed out shell, one coated in countless layers of harden lava and cooled metal. Within it is a store of molten metal, gathered from lava falls and excreted materials. By lifting and jostling this laden shell, it can pour rivers of fiery metal down its carapace, coating its body to form another shell of pure metal.
This same pool is pulled from to fill its own maw with the burning fluid, which it spews upon its own limbs. While this iron coating is substantial, the carapaceon is not content with letting it simply harden as a metallic malformed blob. Instead, it calls upon its massive claw, coated in metals from previous forgings, to hammer this white hot metal into shape. With this, it forms iron greaves upon its legs, and turns its smaller claw into a nasty sharpened blade. With its armor and weaponry, few monsters dare tangle with it, as those who do are met with hammer and sword. Many beasts don't actually have a reason to squabble with a Tosho Hephestaur, as they often don't compete for a food source. This carapaceon dines upon metals and coals, using its powerful hammer claw to shatter stone and its smaller bladed claw to pick out the tasty bits. While many monsters don't share the same taste, there are still some fights over choice ore veins. Brief bouts between the Uragaan and this crab have been reported, though they rarely end in death. Rather, a sore loser scuttles or rolls away, while the winner claims the prized mine.
With no hunger for meat, humans and wyverians rarely are attacked by this carapaceon, as it cares only for metals and fuel. However, that does not mean perfect coexistence. While its iconic weaponry bring to mind a blacksmith, local blacksmiths may curse their name when a pocket of precious materials is gobbled up. Most quests to hunt a Tosho Hephestaur is to either stop them from eating needed resources, or to harvest the hoard of materials they carry upon their bodies. Smaller villages that struggle to get enough metals from mining often task hunters to capture these carapaceons so they can gather from its collected store then let them go. However, these quests will not come easy. One look at one of these crabs already shows that they have the armor and weaponry for a fight. Their tough shell and hardened armor makes them difficult for hunters to hit without their own weapons bouncing. The greaves they have on their legs eliminate those as targets, and their own shell is heavily armored. The only real option for damage is to go for the face, but that maw glows with white hot flame and drips molten metal. Hunters will dream of the days they got hit by the water spray of a hermitaur or ceanataur, in comparison to the torrent of lava that comes spilling out from this angered crab.
Alongside that is its massive hammer claw, whose size and impact puts hunter hammers to shame. The earth shattering blows it lands can pulverize the toughest of guards and leave hunters stumbling from the tremors. It is often lights out for those hit by this massive weapon, and even those who survive may be too stunned to avoid the follow up attacks. While its hammer claw is a slow heavy hitter, its smaller bladed claw is perfect for quick strikes and stabs. Often the two work in tandem, either using a furious rain of skewering attacks followed by the bone rattling finisher, or using heavy slams to stun or trip foes so that its blade can pick them off. While its puny skewer may seem like the better option to take one's chances with, the Tosho Hephestaur has another trick up its sleeve.
When the battle heats up and the crab gets enraged, it spews its store of molten metal upon its smaller claw, thoroughly coating it. Then comes forth its hammer claw, which pounds this glob of liquid iron into shape. With a final blow of showering molten droplets, the Tosho Hephestaur proudly holds up its latest weapon. What once was a tiny little stabbing claw, is now a formidable iron tool that it will happily use against its foes. The addition of metal to this claw gives it extra range and impact, making its attacks that much more devastating. In battle, the Tosho Hephestaur is capable of forging a variety of weapons onto its claw, with the typical being weapons for stabbing, slashing or smashing. The long stabbing blade is perfect for adding range to its lunges, launching forth with surprising speed to catch foes who thought themselves out of range. The slashing sword unleashes a flurry of swipes and cuts, leaving foes with grievous bleeding wounds. The smashing claw is not as elegant as the others, but it does its job quite well. The carapaceon gains a second bludgeon, which its uses with its hammer to double the impact and stunning blows.
It should be noted that these weapons take time and skill for the crab to properly forge, which may be lacking as the battle goes on and the monster's health and patience wanes. As its health drops, its forging grows sloppy, resulting in a malformed weapon at the end. This mangled tool may seem like a useless glob of spike and steel, but the angered crab can wield it just fine. This cobbled together weapon claw can perform stabs, slashes and smashes, borrowing moves from the other three. Combining these fighting styles together makes the carapaceon difficult to predict, as a skewering stab may suddenly whip itself around into a gutting slice.
Hunters who take on quests to capture or slay these mighty crabs best prepare for a long fight. Such a battle calls for either high levels of sharpness or blunt weapons to properly deal with the metal armor. While its iron coating may seem impenetrable, enough damage can finally crack it open, revealing a softer target for one's blades and blows. There are advantages to be gained for hunters who take the time and effort to break its armored parts. If one is capable of cracking open its lava filled shell, the molten pool within will come flowing out and leave the carapaceon with less fuel, resulting in its flaming spit losing a lot of range. However, hunters should steer clear of its back when the shell is breached, as the leaking lava now splashes about wildly. For bowgunners with heavy duty firepower, targeting its armored shoulder should be a priority. This metal heap on its body acts as a counterweight to its huge hammer claw, and breaking it disrupts its balance. If its counterweight is lost, a tired Tosho Hephestaur may not be able to properly lift up its huge weapon without losing its footing and falling over. If one wishes to trap one of these carapaceons, pitfalls are the way to go. Hunters should wait until the crab is enraged and forges an extra weapon upon its smaller claw. Now wielding two heavy hitting metal armaments, the crab will be trapped in a pitfall for longer, as the extra weight makes it difficult for it to claw its way out. Shock traps should be avoided, as the electricity leaps into its metal parts and hunters who make the mistake of striking these charged bits will be in for quite the paralyzing shock.

Eh, how about another crab while we are at it?

Arstron
Tumblr media
Image accessed from the Ultraman Wiki here
[Return of Ultraman is the third Ultraman series, the fourth in the Ultra series altogether, and the first that establishes any sort of continuity between one-off cameos. If the original Ultraman is the toku version of Green Lantern (space cop gives power to human fighter pilot), Ultraman Jack is the toku Spider-man before the actual toku Spider-Man. Hideki Go is thrilled to get powers and rapidly goes too far with them, and has to learn that with great power comes great responsibility. Plus, the series has as much of a focus on his home life as it does on his monster-fighting antics, and Ultraman Jack often loses fights and has to regroup and rethink his approach before winning.
Arstron here (referred to as Earthtron in English before Tsubaraya made official Romanizations for their many many kaiju) was the first kaijur that Ultraman Jack fought, and it's one of his most iconic opponents. Arstron has reappeared in multiple Ultra Series, has a lot of toys, and even appears in the opening credits of the next series, Ultraman Ace. Not bad for most transparent Godzilla knockoff of the franchise not actually made from an old Godzilla costume.]
Arstron CR 21 CN Magical Beast This creature resembles an oversized, slightly humanoid dinosaur, its arms short and legs massive. Rows of low plates grow along its spine, and it has a huge crescent horn growing from its forehead.
An arstron is an enormous burrowing predator that superficially resembles a theropod dinosaur. They spend most of their lives underground, hunting other large subterranean creatures like purple worms and supplementing their diet with organic minerals like coal and oil. Arstrons are territorial and belligerent, and the movement of dragons, kaiju or other enormous and powerful monsters through their territories may provoke them to go on violent rampages. Arstrons enjoy combat, and their rare interactions with other members of their species are typically sparring matches.
Arstrons care little for stealth, and they are pursuit hunters rather than ambush predators. Their burrowing is often felt in the form of small tremors before the monsters emerge to the surface. Arstrons prefer to use their breath weapons and spit fireballs in order to hunt—animals, monsters and humanoids killed by the flames are eaten carbonized, and arstrons typically char their food before consuming it. They use their teeth, claws, tails and scything horn primarily when fighting an enemy that is fire resistant and/or large enough to fight back. An arstron can launch itself into a frenzy similar to a barbarian’s rage, and if anything survives that onslaught, the arstron is likely to burrow back below ground and try to flee.

An arstron’s frenzy lasts for 1 minute, whereupon it is fatigued for 10 minutes. An arstron can enter a frenzy at will, but cannot do so when fatigued or exhausted. Maximize Breath Weapon (Ex) By spending a full round action that provokes attacks of opportunity, an arstron can deal maximum damage with its breath weapon. When it does so, the recharge for its breath weapon defaults to 4 rounds. Shake It Off (Ex) Whenever an arstron fails a saving throw against a paralyzing, petrifaction, polymorph or immobilizing effect (including binding and temporal stasis, but not imprisonment), it can attempt a new saving throw at the end of its turn to remove the effect. Doing so takes no action. An arstron can attempt a new save to end the effect as often as it wishes, but can attempt to remove only one such effect per round.

#RPGCovers Week Ten Rolemaster series (1985 on) Angus McBride
In my youth, there was a cohort of players about five years older than me, some of them part of my sister’s crew and others just among the rabble at the game shop. There was a certain kind of “elitism” to what folks played. When Champions came along, Villains & Vigilantes became passe for example. Rolemaster, in its original incarnation of heavy stock parchment booklets and glossy magazine-style supplements, was one of those. It was the fantasy rpg the cool, older kids played.
And throughout high school it was what I gravitated towards, giving up on AD&D entirely for the more rarified air of RM (ironically paired with Harn, but that’s another story). Rolemaster at that point was a weird set of printings and editions, a mess which looked incoherent and made it hard to tell folks exactly what they actually needed to buy.
Then in 1985 Iron Crown Enterprises consolidated everything into a set of books with a standard cover design and unified art. These became the standard for years (if you ignore the layout and design of the weird Rolemaster Companions). What really pull them together, beyond the book design, was McBride.
Angus McBride had already been doing Middle Earth RPG covers for years. They were all great. Before that he’d been an illustrator for various Osprey Men-at-Arms series, bridging that gap between wargaming grognards and role-players. These RM were great because we got to see repeating, iconic characters– kind of a first I think. I don’t know that we’d had other games with recurring figures and an implied story.
The first three books: Character Law & Campaign Law, Arms Law & Claw Law, and Spell Law used them effectively. Plus you could now buy a box that had all of them bundled together. Ten years later, ICE would reuse these images with a new cover design for their Rolemaster Standard System, with a few new books with new illustrations by McBride that sort of fit in with the existing story and sort of didn’t make any sense (see Creatures & Monsters). But as Rolemaster began to crash and go through multiple editions and changes, they lost control of their cover designs, leading to an absolute chaos that, ironically, felt more like first edition’s mess.

Negator (Monster)
Tumblr media
(Phyrexian Negator by John Zeleznik)
CR16 NE Medium Aberration (Phyrexian)
(The negator is another iconic creature, although one whose card is simply not up to snuff nowadays- the balance of power has tipped so that its astronomical drawback is not worth the creature you get. Still, the obliterator is clearly a riff on it- and got its own, incredibly aesthetically boring riff later- and even then it's simply too fabulous a design not to use. Can you say "xenomorph"?
Lorewise, these explicitly saw most usage in the leadup to full invasion- perhaps, in a hypothetical Phyrexia campaign, this could be the final boss of the second act, before the REAL invasion force finally arrives.)
Negators are perfected assassins of Phyrexia, designed to eliminate key targets with compleat efficiency. They are singleminded in this pursuit- one infamous document stated simply "It exists to cease." Indeed, a negator's heart is terribly stilled- they are not known to experience any emotion but the satisfaction of a job well done and the desire to achieve so.
Negators, being stealth operatives and assassins, are rarely used once a full-scale invasion begins, although they are often deployed just in the leadup to it. Each negator is given all Phyrexia knows of its target, and is simply placed as close as Phyrexia can get it without garnering attention and sent to kill. Negators are surprisingly skilled at stealth and disguise, able to walk as a hunched figure through whatever streets it may need to to reach its target, and are surprisingly eloquent and skilled actors when they need to lie. Once it makes its kill, however, a negator rarely makes time for stealth. Such negators will begin a return to Phyrexia (such that they might possibly be reset, reprogrammed, and reused), but generally lack the precautions of one who has yet to make a kill. These assassinations are its purpose; it seems some higher part of it shuts off once it is done.
This wicked creature stands humanoid, with razor sharp claws and a smooth nubby head lined with tiny triangular teeth. Its body is dotted with glasslike hemispheres and wires arcing between body parts.

Hi Pinnie :) lovestruck by Kalymir
What does he like to be called by his S/O? All I can think of is flattering him like Smaug.
Kalymir, chiefest and greatest of calamities. Your teeth are swords. Your armour is iron. No blade can pierce you. Your claws are spears. Your [wings] are a hurricane. You are fire. You are death.
[He likes being called the cheesiest things like "Mighty", "Champion", the calamity comment will earn you brownie points.]
Kalymir stays silent at first, though in a few moments, a thunderous rumble echoes. You realize belatedly that it's purring.
" MY, CHARMING, ARE WE? ARE THOSE YOUR VOWS? " You're picked up and placed on the Icon's lap. " TELL ME MORE. "

THE SNAPE GANG ( mar’s version )
- two members were made up by me
- they are all girls because our boy has big only guy in a girls friendgroup
- argue with the wall
Tumblr media
severus snape, finn wolfhard :
slytherin, obviously, the half blood prince himself. big neurodivergent, probably autism. has a lot of emotional walls that his friends either work around or smash it with chaotic energy. he was the last addition to their little group and totally not on his own volition. he was dragged here by penelope gaunt but he didn’t have much else do to on this friday night vibes. just straight up feral cat vibes. love him .
Tumblr media
penelope gaunt, mackenzie foy :
slytherin. my personal take on a spawn of voldemort, placed on the marauders era. penelope, poor sweet girl, she’s a slytherin and she accepted very early in life she will never scape her fathers claws. she bonded with severus in their second year due to having daddy issues and she dragged him to places when lily dropped him for good ( and with good reason. we don’t do excuses for our boy here ) but they had a similar fallout when severus got his dark mark.
Tumblr media
aurora sinistra, lovie simone :
ravenclaw. you know, you love her. she’s our resident smartass and star girl. she takes no shit, she’s gay, she’s intellectually inclined and curious and a bit of dark academia icon. she was born in a muggle town really close to hogwarts and spent ten years of her life telling everyone about the castle on the hill while no one believed her.
Tumblr media
cassandra duarte, jenna ortega :
slytherin, an exchange student from castelobruxo with an unusual approach to magic itself and a talent for divination and herbology, specially herbs. cassandra arrived at the school on fifth year and missed her homeland, trying to the dictatorships aplenty of south america in the 70s and ending up in another war, she broke off with her house and friendship and joined the order of the phoenix. her bond with severus and aurora was based on being a big brain bad bitch who really liked exploring the exploring magic itself. snape had his spells, aurora had her star and cassandra has tarot, herbs and tea leaves.
Tumblr media
charity burbage, zoe colletti :
hufflepuff. the future co-worker and a surprising ray of sunshine and colors and glitter in a sea of ironic, bookworms, lovers of all things dark and gloomy. charity is not the kind of person you would expect to get along with the rest of the group but she works and they all work together. she’s severus hugest ride or die, even in their adulthood when all the other girlies are a bit distance from the rest and haven’t heard from cassandra since their graduation.

Okay that's it Chaos Service Announcement
Tumblr media
THIS is my profile picture. It's my fursona best-beloved halloween and carneval costume. I wear it prettyuch every year with minor alterations depending on what kind of black clothes I've got around. Personally I'm very fond of the year I added the chains from my Iron Henry costume.
I made that edit and one other when I first got my smartphone and immediately decided that if I ever need to have an actual icon with a face it would be one of those because between the mask and the drawing that's two steps away from showing my face.
Anyway that was years ago and it's okay one step is fine
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is my profile picture back when it was a photo, and the same costume in its natural habitat (the claws are based on a nightmare a friend of mine had as a child)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is the other edit I made back then, being the other contender for icon when I made this blog (It lost on account of being too femme) and the thing I call my coat of arms, which is the pfp of my mostly defunct art blog, and should explain why there are two main pictures to choose from. Maybe.

Funny enough, I never drew or finished reference sheets for RitsuSho and TeruMob. Mostly because I don't believe that Teru can have just one look, his iconic fashion sense haunts me in my sleep /pos. The same goes to Mob. And for Ritsu and Shou… They are iconic, I just always remember how they look like.
Tumblr media
This was drawn in November 2022 just for the sake of comparison, here's more recent Ritsu and Shou drawings. Shou is from an unfinished December piece, and Ritsu is drawn 20 days later.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is still from November, both Kageyama brothers look a lot differently than something I would draw today.
Okay, anyway, time for the funnies.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I was obsessed with Shou for a time, autism served. Okay, back to the funnies. I made a Spotify playlist for him, I could post it with my other three playlists if someone's interested. (There's ageswap Mob, Teru and ironically TouRei. Bro I have zero idea how I got into TouRei myself frfr)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Honestly, I don't want to talk about Shou`s backstory because it's too heavy for a silly little Tumblr post. I ultimately decided to not talk about it here and keep it short without any upsetting detail. If anyone curious and would be interested I could talk about it in full later, my ask box is always open for questions. The gist of it is that Shou wasn't present most of Toichiro's childhood for the reasons outside his control, Toichiro's mother wasn't the best to put it politely, so his perception of himself is really warped. That led to the creation of Ultimate 5 and “Claw”. Because of Toichiro, Serizawa and Reigen going to the same school, World Domination Arc was started because of Reigen. Then Toichiro started destroying the school Ritsu (if you couldn't tell by his clothes he's a math teacher in Salt middle school) got involved and because of that both Shigeo and Shou too. After the World Domination arc, Shou becomes Toichiros new legal guardian and Toichiro himself is homeschooled.
Tumblr media
The amount of lore for this one joke picture is ridiculous. But Shou and Teru friendship is what I need, it's what I breathe. I love them.
Tumblr media
Oh, right, I forgor that I mostly labeled these things in Ukrainian. So Ritsu says “FUUUCK” but spelled in Ukrainian, then there's “Smoking Kills” and “He ran with them once and that was enough” Shou, Shigeo, Teru, Onigiwara and Gouda run in the morning together.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
That's just Halloween in Ukrainian. Shou served, I mean they all did, I really love them all. I forgot to mention in my previous ageswap post, but Mogami is still alive… He is still alive. Also, I love to think that Wawa is a Miku fan, he just seems like one, right?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm not happy with how Teru turned out, I'm neutral about Shigeo, but Shou. He was made for 2000 mom look, oh my god. They're so silly.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I think this is a good place to end it on a positive note. I drew this exactly on his birthday, but I intended to finish it later. Not only that, but I also drew something for Toichiros birthday, but that even less finished. Really like how this came out.
Thank you for reading!

Gremlins: Actor AU
A quick synopsis: This AU revolves around the actual mogwais and gremlins just being actors and how the gremlins movies and show are literal movies and show.
Random ahh info about it:
The team uses practical effects for various scenes. Gizmo and the gremlins multiplying, Spider gremlin, Stripe's death, they are all practical effects. However though, stuff like Billy's injuries in the 1st movie and the scar on Muray's head were make up.
However though, while most of his injuries were make up, Stripe did actually by accident claw Billy's chest. Luckily the wound wasn't that bad so Billy was okay and able to recover. Stripe ended up apologizing to Billy for the scar.
Gizmo and Stripe are long time friends, both knew each other since college (they went to the same one). They were in a lot of movies together and due to Gizmo always playing the role of a hero and Stripe always being some kind of villain, they have been seen as one of the most iconic hero and villain duo.
Billy and Kate are a couple in real life and have 3 kids together. Ironically, in the 2nd movie, they intentionally wrote that they would be married soon which was actually the case since, just a month after the release of the movie, they got married.
Mohawk is always casted as the villain but in reality is actually very nice and caring and offers the other actors tips on acting.
Mohawk actually hates spider so it freaked him out a little that his character would later turn into a spider.
The mogwai that played Stripe as a mogwai, originally auditioned for Gizmo's role but sadly didn't get it. But the director loved his perfomance so much that he decided that he would be the mogwai form of Stripe that eventually turns into a gremlin.
Gizmo knew of the mogwai that played Mohawk as a mogwai and asked him to come and played the role. After a while of thinking he went to try it out and was able to get the part.
