Since this has gotten a lot of attention since I posted it THIS MORNING, I thought I'd share the second part of this headcanon;

I've seen a lot of "Prismo being flustered and Not Normal about touch" and not a lot of the other side being pretty much the same

My science reasoning behind this is, in edition to Scarab having a kind of prickly personality, his exoskeleton is also extremely uncomfortable to touch.

in regular scarabs they have a sharp exoskeleton to try and ward off mites and enemies, but it doesn't really bother humans much due to it's small size, like how diatomaceous earth feels like cornstarch to us but it shreds bugs if they try to walk through it

However, Scarab is obviously not small, and so he'd inadvertently hurt those who touch him.

In this colorful shadow form, though, he doesn't have that painful outer-shell, and is safe to interact with and be interacted with others. He, as it turns out, enjoys this quite a bit more than anyone would've thought, including himself

I couldn't think of a silly for the Jaheira and Halsin though. Probably the most professional in these kinds of situations, doing leaderly things with the harpers. Somebody has to be the serious ones around here!

But then there's last-minute-silly-scribble Minsc. I like to think he's helping Nine-Fingers out in the sewers. Putting the fear of Minsc in the hearts of nearby mindflayers. For various reasons.

Saw someone on twitter draw their interpretation of the Brozone brothers’ parents so I tried my hand at it; meet Ivy Lovegrass and Billie Byrd Limelight :) Billie Byrd is a rock troll(first name(s) from the folk rock band The Byrds and Micheal Jackson song Billie Jean). Question: how was Celestia as a mortal? Is the well intentioned but distant nature she shows to mortals an amplified aspect of her personality or is it simply the consequence embodying a domain distant from mortal matters?

She was very into her studies of magic and less into other mortals, but she still had a sister she loves and a teacher she respected.

During her early reign, she was actually very involved in politics and ruling her subjects. She and her sister were such excellent rulers in fact, that praise and adoration soon followed. They fought foes and kept their kingdom safe from harm, establishing equestria as a kingdom and making ties with other kingdoms.

Originally Celestia and Luna were equal, but she ruled the day and luna ruled the night, when ponies slept. The love and ritual they made for Celestia caused her to grow more powerful with each passing dawn, and she loved it.

Ponies stopped being individuals and became a congregation, and then a blur of worship and power.
