I was reading Tome of Balance again and remembered my old idea of doing something like a redesign of the original low-poly characters from The Longest Journey.
Here's Zack Lee and Burns Flipper + a repurposed piece of an old April Ryan illustration.
Most likely these are not the final versions of the pictures, but I really want to share them. Or something, anything. I had a difficult few years and I missed the hell out of Tumblr and pictures (:

APRIL RYAN - The Longest Journey
PROPAGANDA (UNDER THE CUT):
April is the strong female protagonist of your dreams. From a 1999 point-and-click quest game. She has everything you could ask for, and before it was even a trend. Family trauma. Being broke. Being an artist who hasn't the inspiration to finish her work. Depression. Finding out she's a chosen one and is supposed to save not one but two whole worlds in, like, a week. Fulfilling a number (!) of prophecies along the way, which included making peace between two fantasy races that hate each other but turned out to be descendants of the same species that wen two separate evolutionary ways. Being hunted by the bad guys which resulted in one of her friends getting shot in her own home and she never even found out if there friend was alive; and neither did her friends know what happened to her. Agreeing to go on a date with the asshole who's hitting on her in exchange for some info she needs and then either ignoring the date or punching the guy and refusing to be his bitch (depending on the player's choice). Travelling between two worlds: her own which is basically our cyberpunky future and a fantasy world full of cool original species. Accidentally bringing suffering to some people who cross her (like accidentally sinking a ship she was on which led to the surviving crew abandoning her in the middle of the sea for some merpeople to find, poisoning a policeman to get him away from where she needed to sneak into, later making his life even more miserable by stealing his eye prosthetics to sneak into the police archives, short-circuiting hi-tech armor of yet another policeman with some soda - ya girl said fuck the police fr fr). Hiding in the garbage bin to get into a place she was not supposed to be in. Befriending a talking crow she saved from his abusive master. Fighting an evil wizard in his own castle and trapping him in a calculator for like ten years. Crashing his flying castle immediately after. Accidentally warping her ass into the other world while in her underwear. Forgering a passport to get into the fancy rich area of the city mere plebs aren't supposed to go in. Going to space!!! And after all that she discovered that she uh actually wasn't exactly the chosen one everyone thought she was, even though she basically did all the job for them, and she was just supposed to go back to her meaningless life... Which she didn't. Instead, she went and stayed in the other world, the fantasy one, where she became leader of the resistance against some guys who've just attacked the locals and decided to eradicate magic. And also got into an even deeper depression. And the oppressors actually feared her and in the end she died to the enemy's spear which was her release. And then she reincarnated... Oh, and she also turned out to be some sort of spiritual daughter of a dragon. And her mentor was a dragon who took form of a weird elderly Spanish guy. So yeah. Ya girl can do it all, absolutely iconic, character of all time. Girlboss. Makes Star Wars references in the year 2209.

you're in a room alone with three men but feel completely safe, who are they
(they aren't safe from each other tho and i would pay 90s ragnar good money to write that diplomatic disaster of a scene)
((dreamfall+chapters are brian westhouse slander and i won't stand for the worst thought-out "plot twist" in the series, such weak bullshit))
