This weather! One of the best parts about the seasons to me is the reminder that everything has a time, and that winter, regardless of the temperature, is to encourage us toward pausing, reflecting and nurturing oneself. The paws are back. So are the long walks in the morning and watching the sun go down. Starting our regular rhythm and embracing the shift of seasons all together. . Our dog was with my parents for more than a month while we traveled and there was other business to do. My parents are breeding dogs and he felt there like in a summer camp with all the rest of the puppies. . We didn’t even realize how much he gives to our lives until we got him back. I started listening podcasts again, as the primary reason for this were long walks with a puppy and trying to entertain myself. I listened to all my favorite podcasts while walking and that pushed me to become better and start my own business. . We go outside together with my husband more, especially on the weekend- we see all the seasons start and end, watch the nature changing, run in rain and bathe in sunshine. If it wasn’t for a dog we wouldn’t spend nearly as much time outside. . Also we are much better people when puppy is around. Only his face can make a heart melt. Even when I am angry or annoyed I can’t be angry when dog is around wailing his tail. My husband says that our dog is always smiling. He is very positive and can make anyone feel much better in a second. So many advantages, huh?) We are happy that Mike is back and he can finally be in my photos again.
