How do I cut off feelings for an unhealthy pale/pitch vacillation? I keep coming on to them pale because they're just so damn pitiable but they keep fighting me and the fights feel so good too. It's not good for my mental health but I just can't stop. Got any advice?

I've b33n thinking about this one dearest anon, apawlogies fur it being kind of a late reply!

You used the word "pity" here which is usually refurring to the flushed quadrant, but I'm taking you at your word when you say pale f33lings-- especially beclaws no matter what quadrant you're in with this purrson, it s33ms like it's not good fur you!

Without exact details it's always a little difficult fur advice-giving, but I'm certainly not going to ask you fur more purrsonal infurmation! Instead, it's best to appurroach the situation as it is: You f33l like you want to help this purrson, but fur whatefur reason, they don't want to receive your help, and are aggressive towards you as a result.

So this answer can be applied to anyone in that situation regardless of quadrant: If somebody doesn't want to receive help, they are not ready to receive help. If you wanted to continue your purrsuit to help this purrson, I'd offer diffurent advice, but I'm furry glad to s33 that you know your limits and know that this is taking a big toll on you!

It stinks and it hurts, but unfurtunately, the best advice I can give is to stop offuring help. I know how hard that can be, I purromise I know furst-paw even, but if they were ready fur help, they wouldn't be fighting you on it. Fights like that can become addictive, especially if your brain has decided it's fur a good claws-- like helping a furend or a potential quadrant-mate-- and stopping is difficult especially beclaws you have to s33 somebody suffuring!

But if you're suffuring too, you should purrioritize yourself. If they want help, they will ask fur it, and please understand this is not your respawnsibility to help them, nor are your respawnsible fur their suffuring!

Also, if somebody has expurressed that they aren't interested in a quadrant with you, it can be good to remind yourself that coming on stronger won't help with anything. If they don't want to be in a quadrant, furend, they don't want to be in a quadrant! In the nicest way pawsible, you purrobably aren't helping your case by continuing to push.

TL;DR:

If they're pitiable beclaws they n33d help, it's impurrtant to understand that you are not respawnsible fur helping them-- they will ask fur help of their own accord if they ever truly want it, regardless of how obvious it is if they n33d it.

And, barring that, regardless of how pitiable somebody is, if they don't want to be in a purrticular type of relationship (quadrant or not!) you purrobably shouldn't push!

“Efurrything is set and ready guys!” 

  She gives herself a thumbs up as she walks out in front of her back drop. She takes a few deep breaths as she shakes off the small nerves that always hit her before a shoot. She had a special guest waiting off to the side that seemed very amused by the way she had to hype herself up before the first take, but she was very professional in how she handled it. Though a bit eccentric. 

“Hey kits! It’s Meumix back with something furry special fur you guys! I SERIOUSLY cat-not BELIEVE I was able to convince her to come but here she is!!! We all know her as the ameowzing singing icon that’s been throwing out the SICKEST beats nowadays! Mew all know I love her to bits and AHHHHH!!! I’M SO EXCITED TO HAVE HER!!! Here she is!! It’s Ariana Grande!!”

  Meulin was jumping and squealing the whole time as she gave this introduction. The happiest and most excitable she’s been about introducing a new live guest. She jumps to the side and extends her hands out in a will smith memey style as the troll singing icon walked on over to face the camera. Calm demeanor as she waves and then goes to greet Meulin with a hug. Which she happily responded with happy squeals and jumping. She offers the celebrity a seat and takes one herself. Smiling from ear to ear as she clasps her hands together and looks to the camera and then back to Ariana. 

“It is so COOL to have you here with us! I’m so grreatful that you agreed to this, thanks again fur coming!!! And trust me there are SOOO many questions that pawple really wanna hear you answer! But let’s purrlay some games befur we get to the Q&A yeah???” 

“Thanks for having me here haha; yeah lets get this going!”

  Her excitement was contagious it seemed as she managed to get the usually very calm demeanor of her guest to lighten up a bit. Presenting a fun game; mostly described as challenges nowadays. She goes and brings out the things they need for the challenge and Meulin begins explaining how this would go. With the items sprawled out on the table and the timer set Meulin gets to go first to try and makeover her guest as fast as she could in 5 minutes! 

  Needless to say her handiwork was not superb, but based on a toll she had conducted to see what kind of makeover her guest would receive she managed to make her look like a halfassed mermaid. Lipstick smeared, glitter on her eyelids, really strange bright neon pink wig. It was a mess, but at least she got a lot of stuff on her! Next it was Ariana’s turn and Meulin got catwoman as her makeover choice. The clock goes off and her guest was equally fumbling around with the makeup. In the end Meulin looked more so like GHB with cat ears and raccoon makeup. When they do each other’s reveal with the a hand mirror they both start to laugh and point out each other’s work. Of course complimenting each other and how well the other did. 

  Though during this fiasco Meulin managed to ask a few viable questions while doing so. Most of that being the reason why everything came out so badly, she forgot the clock. 

“So Ariana tell me how you’re feeling apawt all the news going around that you’re dating someone mew!” 

  The questions stay relatively in that realm until she gets a little real.

“So you’re telling me you haven’t been pawing attention to the will smith fiasco?”

“Yeah not really? A lot of us saw it coming if you want me to be honest. After that rewind wouldn’t you have done the same?”

“I don’t meow apawt that purrsonally! Sure it was purretty bad, but that doesn’t erase all the ofur good stuff he does. Purrlse it feels so cool to be a pawrt of something that big! I pawlways wished I could be in one just to know what it feeeels like you know?” 

  The video ends on a happy note as usual. Meulin giving a sound off to her fans that were watching and waving at the end to cut the scene. She helps her guest clean up and they part ways. Now it was time to edit and get the footage out there!

Meulix Leijon: That's when you feel a small tug on the back of your shirt. You jolt, tears caught in your eye as you turn and look down at the person who touched you. Your heart seizes as you face this person. Unsure if they have possibly called the cops on you already. Unsure if maybe they'll pull you down themselves and demand you get therapy. You expect to be chastised and shouted at, grabbed and dragged to "safety". Nothing of the sort happens though. A boy, perhaps your age, or a couple of years older, stares up at you with a frown, and cat-like olive green eyes filled with sorrow. They were an amazing site, but that was not the only thing about this boy. A pair of blue cat ears were perched upon his head, blending into waves of short amber hair. "Purrease don't." The boy requests, his purring voice quiet. You wipe away some tears, and nibble on your lip for a moment to try and stave off others for a moment as you think. "Why not?" You ask, voice wavering. The boys face looks puzzled for a moment, and he lifts his hands up in an almost paw-like form at his chest. He ponders your question, flashes of emotion cross over his face. When he at last reacts, it is once again something you'd not expect. He lifts one of those paw positioned hands to his ear and shakes his head. "I'm sorry, but I can't catually hear. Could you purrhaps mewve your lips a bit more?" The boy asks, a bit of a self-ashamed look crossing his face. Parting your lips in surprise, you look down upon him from your spot on the ledge. He's deaf. You sniffle, your nose becoming raw from the action. The boy notices as he looks up at you again, and his attention focuses on you again instead of his own embarrassment. "I asked why." You repeat. "Why not do it? Why not do it if I know it'll make me feel better?" A surge of feelings erupts upwards through your body, clenching at your throat, choking you up as you try to speak. Your tears fall in a faster pace now, and the boy's eyebrows raise in worry. "Why can't I do it if I don't know w-what else to d-do? I d-don't. I c-can't." Sobbing, you crouch down, hugging your knees. The waters far below, lapping at the bridge supports, on one side. On the other, this stranger reminding you of things you'd hoped to be done with already. Everybody has their troubles though, and you would not imagine that your current company has been in a very similar situation before as well. "I know this way seems like a better option, but is there a way I could convince you to try something else before you resort to this? Purrlease." Shoulders shaking, you peer out of your hovel at the boy. You've tried so hard to hold things together. You put on fake faces to bond like glue. You tried to tell yourself that you didn't want any company at all. Maybe you don't want much, but you still get the lonely urges. You try keep your head up, and tried therapy, and writing journals, and even talking it out, but nobody ever understands. You don't expect them to, but you also didn't expect them to brush off this thing that feels so serious, and so painful, and so suffocating. You didn't expect to be forced into weird medications. You didn't expect for people to isolate you. You didn't expect the few things that gave you life to suddenly flicker out like a candle on a god damned birthday cake. "I don't think anyone can really understand everything." You start, lifting your lips above your arm so he can read them. "I don't think I even understand everything I feel that's hurting me. I just wish they didn't treat me like a freak every time I try to talk about it. I wish people wouldn't ask what's wrong like they're concerned and then shrug off my explanations." You frown, and wipe away a few tears. Your sobbing has eased and faded. You feel almost blank admitting your defeat out loud. Like crying is too worthless at this point. What more can it do? "I don't think I would understand efurrything. Mew're not alone though. I don't think you could understand me eifur. People talk about me behind my back all the time. Literally, because they know they can get away with it. People have been talking behind me fur as long as I can remember. The only person I could ever trust to only say things to my face, was my younger sister, Nepeta. Not even my purrents said everything in front of me that they should have. Nepeta was in an accident two years ago, and now she's gone. She was the one who spoke up to me so many years ago when I finally planned to use all of those purscribed medications. She asked me to give things one more chance. I didn't want to, I just wanted things to stop." His eyes fill with pain as they bore into you, begging for you to just give him a chance. Pleading for you to give yourself another chance, at least one more in some different way. You and the boy are in a war. Your eyes locked. His pleading green irises stare into your searching (e/c) orbs. Silently, you edge your feet underneath you to sit on the ledge. Sliding a bit more, you slip onto the concrete in front of the boy. You stare up at him, his height being a few inches taller than your own. "What is your name?" You ask. "Meulix." The boy answers with a smile, signing the name on his hands as well with a practiced skill. "My name is (y/n)." You state. "W-would you help me with that chance?" You ask, voice wavering as the surging feel of tears drills into you again. "(y/n)." His voice tests the name, savoring it. "I will if you want me to." You glance at the ground, face cringing as two wet spots land at your feet. More follow, and you look up at Meulix. "Please." You sob before the tears start to overpower your control. Without a word, Meulix wraps his arms around you. You clutch his shirt in your fists, a bit unsure, but happy for the gesture as you hug this new stranger in your life. This possible savior? ---- Two years later ---- You walk out of your last class for the day. Other students long gone with the promise of open bars and dorm parties for the weekend. You have something to do, and you feel it far surpasses going to any party. You nod in parting to your sign language professor, and rush out to your bike. Along the way, you stare at your hands. The appendages switching positions in swift movements. Your skill in the language picked up quickly, but you still feel nervous. Tonight you'll be putting it to use in a way you've yet to with your roommate. You've been practicing, and you wish to tell Meulix something very important. You hop on your bike, breaking from your practice. You speed over the sidewalks, keeping a cautious eyes so nothing gets in your way or slows you down. There's relief when you make it to your apartment building without any accidents. Chaining the bike, you run up two flights of stairs and unlock your door. You toss your school bag to the side of the door, kick off your shoes and rush to the kitchen. Pulling out ingredients for a recipe lit up on your phone screen. Pancakes. Pancakes poured into cat-like shapes in favor of Nepeta's memory, and Meulix's favorite thing. After getting to know Meulix, you learned why he wore the cat ears and used a cat-like tone in his words. His younger sister, Nepeta, loved cats so much. She shared her love for the with Meulix to try and cheer him up, and used the purrs and puns to make him laugh. She was so sweet and kind to him, and it broke your heart to hear how close they were when she was torn from him. Wiping your brow, you frown. Batter dots one of your cheeks, and flour is spattered over your black shirt in a white dusting. Your hair is moved out of your face (tied up or pinned back or whatever your hair does). You nervously check the clock as you flip another pancake. There's still some batter left, and Meulix will be home soon. Time is running out. You still wanted to change, and set out the food in a neat display, and grab the syrup and butter as well. You planned to be able to greet him at the door, but you might not get that chance. There's still one last pancake to flip. Your mind is so focused on the lack of time. So focused that you don't even hear Meulix walk through the door. It doesn't help that he has cat-like stealth. He sneaks up behind you, eyeing the stove at work in your shared apartment. His olive green eye do not yet catch what you're making, but he sees you and grins. Without a word, he comes closer and closer. Only stopping as he hovers right behind you. "Hey (y/n)!" He greets loudly as he pats his hands onto your shoulders suddenly. You scream in surprise, jolting. The action sends the pancake on your spatula into the air, and your mouth drops. Meulix is equally surprise by the air born pancake and manages to catch it in his had before smiling at you again. "I'm home." He greets. "I noticed." You express, exasperation evident as your heart races, then drops. He's early. No more time. "So, what's all this? Smells purrfect." Meulix says, looking at the cat pancake in his hand. "Looks purrfect too, can I have one?" He asks. You giggle, and nod. He looks excited as he takes a bite out of the one in his hand. He chews for a moment, and you sigh in relief as he moans in pleasure at the taste. You were so happy they turned out edible with how fast you were working on them. "I made breakfast for dinner." You explain with your hands, leaning against the counter, staring at your feet nervously. The realization that you can't put it off much longer is killing you. Meulix finishes the pancake in his hand with a happy face. You watch him as he enjoys the taste, staring blankly as you try to build yourself up for what's to come. It's almost creepy, catching Meulix's attention at your watchful eyes. "(y/n)? What's up?" He asks. You purse your lips, and glance away. Meulix nods his head to the side, and catches the glimpse of batter on your cheek. He chuckles and steps closer to you, placing his grip to your jaw as he wipes it away with his thumb. A blush spreads across your face with fierce intensity. Heating up from the tip of your head and past your shoulders, only worsening as Meulix does not yet step away from you, leaving you practically pinned to the counter. "It must have been an intense war making these." He signs with a smile, most likely oblivious to your flusterment. "Meulix." You sign. His grin fades as he looks at you with curiosity. There's a serious tone to your expressions, calling his attention. "What's wrong?" He signs back. "Nothing!" You wave your hands back and forth and shake your head. "I just wanted to tell you something today. It's really important." Your hands are becoming shaky as you sign to Meulix. He is still able to read them, and you're glad for that. He also remains quiet, allowing you to continue, and say what you needed to, only nodding to inform you he understood. "Meulix, I..." You pause...your head swimming furiously as your face becomes pinker. Your chest constricts, and your stomach swirls with the wing beat of many butterflies. "I love you, Meulix." You sign the words with a furiously fast pace. It's the only thing you can manage to keep from shaking. You find your feet to be very entertaining until you feel Meulix's hands on your cheeks, lifting your gaze to him. A soft smile caresses his lips. "I love you too." He replies before you pulling you to him. His lips touch to yours, and you are a bit dumbfounded for a moment. As things roll along, you take no more time to kiss him back. You wrap your arms around him, fisting your fingers into the fabric of his shirt. You pull away for air, exchanging a look of relief and joy before kissing again. You turn your head to deepen the kiss, and he nips at your lip playfully. You pull back to give him a playful look of scorn, even though you liked it. He smiles sheepishly, then grins. "We should make dinner for each other more often if this is what happens." He signs before laughing. You chuckle along with him, then get to your toes to kiss him on the cheek. "We'll have to make sure we actually eat too." You remind him.

:33 < purraculous ladybug is a cute series about miss marinette dupain-cheng and adrien agreste becoming supurr heros and saving furrance furrom an evil man named papillon

howefurr secretly, marinette has a crush on adrien, howefurr adrien has a crush on ladybug! it’s so irritating watching these two crush on each other but not realize they’re right there!

while i love the romance in the series, there are some furry cringy parts as well- though it makes sense because marinette is shy around adrien and adrien is oblivious to efurrything

each purraculous has what is called a kwami, which is a little fairy bull like creature that can be a bug, kitty cat, b33, purrtle, fox or peacock that gives each user their special furrms! marinette and adrien were given the bug purraculous and kitty purraculous respectively, which is like the ying yang combo fur their unifurrse

they were destined to be purrtners beclaws a man named master fu had given them theirs after s33ing their responses to him being in danger or incapacitated, which allowed him to s33 who was worthy to be the next holders

adrien is a model fur his lusus gabriel agreste, who is a famous fashion designer who makes clothes fur his fashion line

Adrien is an unhappy human because his lusus had hired another custodian to take care of him after his female lusus had gone missing, which means he doesn’t have a connection like he wants to with gabriel

marinette on the other paw has a loving pair of lusii which own a bakery, and marinette herself is an upcoming fashion designer too!

:33 < *ac squeals in delight about how fitting it is that marinette is an amapurr fashion designer and adriens lusus is a fashion designer! she fantasizes about how marinette could create clothes and have adrien pose in them fur her own spring line in season two*

marinette is notoriously unlucky, howefurr adrien is more lucky than her, and after mastur fu had mysteriously delivered their purraculouses their lucks had switched! marinette became the famous lucky ladybug, while adrien became the unlucky black cat chat noir

their back stories aren’t that far fetched, s33ing as they are both close to the heart of furrance, howefurr it has a few stereotypes in the series

clawe is my least favfurrite, as she is a big meanie towards the rest of the class while she’s lovey dovey towards adrien

her character is pretty far fetched that she’d be in the same class as marinette as you’d expect her to be in what humans call private school, howefurr shes in public school with the rest of them? it’d make sense if she was going there efurry year beclaws adrien was supposed to be there since they were grub hood furriends, but it was never said that was the case in the series

it’s also far fetched that her lusus happens to be the mayor of furrance, beclaws if she was just a snotty girl that’d make a little more sense as opposed to her being all mighty impurrtant

though, they start implementing her mayor lusus in the story, howefurr it could’ve b33n used better such as the mayor was her someone related to her lusus or somebody else her lusus knew, but hopefully they’ll implement more into her character later on in season two!

ofurr all, while there are some furrustrating moments beclaws of the romance, the series does have good lessons fur efurryone who watches it. it has characters that are relatable fur all viewers and also has so many diverse characters that you don’t get them mixed up with one another.
